Ty Lee doesn't like the pressure of being put on a pedestal as her fathers favourite. So she tries to escape as much as she can from the royal persona in her own time. It would be nice if her dear friend would treat her more person instead of royalty too. Maybe that way they could get to now each other better...

Azula was instructed by her father to fraternize with the princess to solidify their families' position in the royal court. Now that Azula has gotten to know Ty Lee a bit better she's become convinced Ty Lee's obviously the best candidate for the throne and she's determined to do anything in her power to make it happen. Now if only she could convince the princess to see her side of things...

Another style change! Originally I was gonna go lineless like all the cool kids, but I kept drawing eyes that were an affront to god. I kinda liked the juxtaposition of the vague lining i had with the 'lineless' coloring. Will i keep drawing like this? Probably not, but i had my fun with it.

Some context for the pic. I imagine in this AU Azula definitely grew star-struck when she first met the princess. While in the beginning it may only only have been puppy love. It grew in to something deeper as the two grew older and got to know each other better.

Gortash designs and builds mechanisms so I imagine he has to be able to sketch fairly decently in order to sketch his projects and designs. And I'm imagining a pile of charcoal sketches of Durge, done over their entire acquaintance, starting out with sketches of them in battle and then slowly becoming more detailed and intimate and as they do, the titles changing from things like "The Bhaalspawn" and "Bhaal's Chosen at Their Bloody Work" to "The Chosen in Contemplation" and finally just Durge's name
