Kurz nach KdE, Leo befolgt Pias Rat und "passt auf sich auf", baut die vielen Überstunden ab, sorgt für Abstand. Adam hat ihn seit der Konfrontation mit der Geldtasche nicht mehr gesehen, hat aber eine Ahnung bekommen, dass er richtig, richtig Scheiße gebaut hat und Leo ihn jetzt, falls er überhaupt wiederkommt und sich nicht etwa versetzen lässt, vielleicht einfach nur noch wie jemanden behandeln wird, mit dem er halt für die Arbeit auskommen muss. Vielleicht gab's da ein paar erhellende Worte von Pia an Adam gerichtet, sie hat ja den Durchblick. Nein, es wird sich nicht von selbst wieder einrenken, wenn Adam Leo nur genügend Zeit gibt. Esther macht Adam für Leos Abtauchen verantwortlich und Adam kann es ihr noch nicht mal verdenken, wenn sie ihn so anfährt. Sie hat ja recht. Dann kommt Barns auch schon (früher?) aus dem Knast raus. Wir sehen Leo, der vielleicht in seinem Bestreben, die ganze Scheiße mit Adam zu vergessen, irgendwo in einem Club (Gelegenheit für Fanservice 👀) dabei ist, seine Gefühle für Adam zu übertönen (klappt natürlich nur mittelprächtig bis gar nicht). Und dann wird Leo, der so mit sich beschäftigt und nicht auf der Hut und total verwundbar ist, geschnappt. Als Druckmittel gegen Adam. Seine Achillesferse. Die wollen das Geld, den Jackpot. Und Adam muss sich eingestehen, dass er Leo will. Aber vor allem will er ihn retten, schützen, in Sicherheit wissen, Leo nie mehr wehtun oder irgendjemanden Leo wehtun lassen. Also macht er einen Alleingang ohne Pia und Esther.
