they see you in lingerie for the first time v.1
ua boys x gender-neutral reader⋆。°✩ — implied smut, fluff, swearing, 680 words
pro heroes, villains
Tumblr media
midoriya izuku
⭑.ᐟ he's blushing hard; whole face red asf, tops of his ears are red, chest, back of his neck, all red. his mouth is open slightly as he looks at you dumbly.
you laugh at him and he just shakes his head, nervously. you come over to him, swaying your hips. his complexion gets impossibly more red and he starts looking around. you pull his face back to look at you as you straddle him. his hands lightly rest on your hips whilst his eyes continue avoid yours like the plague.
you end up peppering his face with kisses and he starts rambling how hot his honeybear looks, looking down and then back up at you.
Tumblr media
bakugou katsuki
⭑.ᐟ he's literally eye-fucking you with that shit-eating, possessive grin on his face as soon as you come out. he's got a slight blush in cheeks, palms beginning to sweat as he wipes them on his clothed thighs.
his obvious enjoyment of looking at you causes you blush hard and hide your face behind your hands as you laugh from embarrassment. when you put your hands down, he’s coming over to you.
you close the distance between you two reflexively and he grabs you by the waist, pulling you into a rough kiss, smirk still plastered across his face as he tells you how fucking sexy you are and how you’re all his between kisses.
I’m sure you know the reason behind why you wake up sore and sleep-deprived the next morning.
Tumblr media
kirishima eijirou
⭑.ᐟ eyes racking up and down you, trying to take in if he’s seeing what he thinks he’s seeing. he's not even blushing; he’s used the lack of clothing you wear at home by now.
you do a little spin and he gives you that pointy smile you love so much. he leans back, running his hand through his spikey hair.
you stand right in front of him now and he’s leans forward now, hands starting at your outer thighs and running up to your waist. he pulls you down onto his lap so you straddle him now. he looks you up and down for a moment and then tells you that you look so good for him.
you two kiss… and do much more that night.
Tumblr media
todoroki shoto
⭑.ᐟ he just stares at you, brows slightly raised, mouth ever-so-slightly open, betraying his surprise.
you giggle, happy that you’ve been able to surprise him. seeing you in such a good mood places a small smile on his face.
he doesn’t move until you’re close to him. he stretches his arms forward, hands capturing yours and guiding you to his lap. he smiles softly at you at you, groaning when you let go of his icy-hot hands and run your fingers through his hair. he tilts his head back slightly, enjoying the feeling. you begin leaving little kisses on his jaw and just below until his icy fingers are on your cheek, bringing your face to his and lips together.
you two lay down on the bed, making out for a while before moving into something even more slow, passionate, and intimate.
Tumblr media
shinso hitoshi
⭑.ᐟ he has this lazy look in his eyes until you come out. and then suddenly, it’s like he’s been jolted back to life the moment he sees you.
he chuckles, voice slightly gruff, hand coming up to cover his mouth. with the other, he motions with his finger for you spin. and you do so, enjoying seeing that satisfied smile he gives you.
he stands up just before you get to him, hands stroking up and down your upper arms. “well, this is a surprise,” he raises his brow at you. you giggle in response, your hands finding his chest. he brings you into a sweet kiss, smirk still on his lips.
he asks you about the lingerie; when you bought it, if it’s comfortable, if you like it.
you end up going back into the wardrobe and taking it off, changing back into one of hitoshi’s shirts before you two return to the living room and watch a movie, cuddled up together on the couch. he says something about “enjoying you later”.

I’ve been plagued by this incessant urge to hug and cuddle Dan Heng and I’m so upset that I can’t because he’s a fictional character. 🥲
Can we maybe get a tiny short little thing where Reader hugs Dan Heng? No reason at all, they’re just craving Dan Heng cuddles—
Tumblr media
The hum of the Astral Express was a familiar lull, the rhythmic vibrations underfoot a quiet comfort. You found Dan Heng in his usual spot—the archive room, nose buried in a datapad, his expression unreadable as always.
You hesitated for only a second before stepping forward, arms wrapping around him from behind. He tensed, his entire body going rigid, but he didn’t pull away.
“…What are you doing?” His voice was level, though you could hear the slight confusion in it.
“Just… hugging you,” you murmured, resting your forehead against his shoulder. “No reason. Just felt like it.”
Dan Heng was silent for a moment, long enough that you started wondering if you’d overstepped. Then, with a quiet sigh, he relaxed. One of his hands—uncertain, hesitant—came to rest over yours.
“…I see.” A pause. “You should have told me sooner if you needed this.”
You smiled against his back. “Would you have said yes?”
“…Perhaps.”
A small victory, but a victory nonetheless.

pins and needles
for @steddiemicrofic prompt ‘pin’
388 words | rated t | cw: a/b/o dynamics, implied fertility issues, mpreg | tags: omega Steve Harrington, alpha Eddie Munson, established relationship, a rare omegaverse sighting from me what is happening
🫃🫃🫃🫃🫃🫃🫃🫃🫃🫃🫃🫃
Steve glanced at the clock again. The office closed in ten minutes. Maybe he should call.
“You gonna tell me why you’ve been on pins and needles all day?” Eddie asked around a bite of lasagne. Steve had yet to touch his own plate.
“I’m fine.”
Eddie’s eyes squinted back at him suspiciously. “You’ve been acting weird for days now. And you smell different.”
Steve’s breath caught at that.
He thought about the two positive pregnancy tests he took three days ago. He thought about how his smell would be different if he was pregnant.
But then he thought about the two negative tests he’d had that same day. That was what made him get his blood tests done at the doctor the day before.
They promised results by the end of today.
So maybe Steve was just a little bit on edge.
“Do I smell different? Really?” Steve asked.
“A little. Just a hint of some fruity smell? Can’t quite tell what it is, maybe a berry?” Eddie sniffed. “Blueberry?”
Just as Steve was about to admit to taking the tests without his mate, the phone rang. He jumped up and ran to grab it off the hook, barely even saying hello.
“Yes, it’s Steve Munson. Uh huh. Yes.” He could feel Eddie’s eyes on him from the table. And then the doctor gave him the best news he could’ve heard. “Really? I am?”
Eddie was suddenly behind him, probably sensing the shift in his tone, hearing the tears in his voice.
“Yeah, I can come in next week. Monday at ten sounds good. Thank you so much. Okay. See you then.”
He hung up the phone and turned to Eddie.
“What is it? Are you sick?” Eddie looked pale and his scent shifted to something laced with concern. “We should call Dustin. He has a friend who’s a doctor now.”
“Eds.” Steve grabbed his hands, pulled them to his still-flat but hardened stomach. “Baby.”
“What?” Eddie was still confused.
Steve covered his hands over his stomach and kissed his cheek. “We’re having a baby.”
They’d tried for nearly two years, almost convinced they couldn’t because of the bats in the Upside Down nearly eating them both alive. But now they were. They were gonna be parents.
Eddie looked down at their hands. “Holy shit! Really?”
“Really.”

Why is Hera so hostile to Leto in a manner that she isn't with the other lovers of Zeus? I can't think of any other woman who was targeted so much by Hera. One could say she didn't want Leto to give birth because her children would be a competition to Hera's children, but why bother her even after she had already given birth? Is it because Leto herself is also a threat to Hera?
Sort of I guess?
I don't think Leto would ever be a threat to Hera's role as the queen of the gods but Hera might see her as a competitor for Zeus' affection, even though I think Zeus would not marry someone else and replace Hera.
The twins are definitely a big reason why Hera begrudged Leto - it is outright stated in the Callimachus Hymn to Delos that the reason Hera especially targeted Leto was because she was told that Apollo would be dearer to Zeus than Ares is. Zeus is very proud of Artemis as well. As he himself puts it, he doesn't mind facing Hera's wrath for children like her.
But the continued hatred even after the birth of the twins (like sending Tityus to rape Leto) could have been for different reasons. This wasn't like one of those affairs Zeus would have with mortal women where he'd leave them behind once the child is conceived. Neither could Hera, despite her many attempts, get rid of Leto like she did with the other lovers. Not only did Leto give Zeus children that he loves dearly, she also stayed on Olympus despite Hera's hatred towards her (which isn't directed to any of Zeus' other divine mistresses, btw). It might have also been because Leto herself is dear to Zeus, if the way she's treated on Olympus is any proof. In the Homeric hymn to Apollo, Leto stands next to Zeus - in the Olympian assembly - to welcome their son. Hera is completely absent from the scene, as if Leto had taken her place even if temporarily. Now you could say this is because Apollo himself is such a powerful and glorious son in a way that no other son of Zeus is, so of course Leto would get such an honor (the hymn itself presents it this way).
But here's another instance - in the Iliad, when Hera goes to seduce Zeus, he is obviously very smitten but before getting into the action, he lists some of his lovers (I believe these were his favorite lovers, as a lot of others are not mentioned):
"for never has such desire for goddess or mortal woman so gripped and overwhelmed my heart, not even when I was seized by love for Ixion’s wife, who gave birth to Peirithous the gods’ rival in wisdom; or for Acrisius’ daughter, slim-ankled Danaë, who bore Perseus, greatest of warriors; or for the far-famed daughter of Phoenix, who gave me Minos and godlike Rhadamanthus; or for Semele mother of Dionysus, who brings men joy; or for Alcmene at Thebes, whose son was lion-hearted Heracles; or for Demeter of the lovely tresses; or for glorious Leto; or even for you yourself, as this love and sweet desire for you grips me now.’ (Book 14, trans. A. T. Murray)
Notice how when talking about most of them, he also mentions the children they bore to him but when Demeter and Leto are mentioned, he doesn't bring up their children at all despite them being some of the most accomplished kids of his. What's more, he takes Leto's name just before Hera's. I mean, this is an interpretation but it looks like not only did Zeus love Leto the most out of all his mistresses - giving her a place second to that of his wife, but also his love for her wasn't necessarily only because she gave him two amazing children.
Nonnus does something similar in the Dionysiaca (but this time Zeus is enamored with Persephone instead of Hera) but more notably, when Typhoeus attacks Olympus and Zeus is discouraged, Nike takes the form of Leto to encourage him and it's pretty telling of what Leto meant to Zeus.
One interesting similarity between Hera and Leto is that they both had a giant try to rape them. Porphyrion tried to violate Hera (Zeus inspired him to do this) and Tityus tried to violate Leto (upon Hera's order). Though both of them were killed, only Tityus got an eternal punishment in Tartarus of having his liver/heart eaten out by vultures so Zeus seems to have taken a greater offense at Tityus trying to assault Leto.
Again, I don't think Zeus would ever take anyone other than Hera as his permanent wife - she is irreplaceable to him. There's an entire myth about Hera leaving him and Zeus winning her back. Their relationship is obviously complex and involves all kinds of emotions including love and hate. But Leto is continually dear to him as well and that's something Hera can't do much about.
#Zeus#Hera#Leto#if you think about it Leto is like the opposite of Hera#she is a great mother#she bore children that Zeus is actually proud of#she never rebels and even begs for forgiveness when her son rebels against Zeus#she's generally mild natured and never lashes out#also if you look into this obscure myth of how Hera established an altar in the name of Leto#because Leto's name was used to cover up the secret relationship between Zeus and Hera#(which kinda sorta implies that Zeus was *maybe* courting or even married to Leto at that time)#it all gets even more complicated for both Hera and Leto#ALSO in the texts that record the syncretism bw Greek and Egyptian gods#Some authors make Hera the mother of Apollo#and Leto was Apollo's nurse#Those texts also mention that this Apollo defeated Typhoeus and became the king of Egypt#So he was like the ideal son of Zeus and Hera#And it's so interesting to me#how this Apollo - the perfect son of Hera - transitioned into a sort of rival figure to Hera in the greek myths#and Typhoeus who was defeated by Hera's son became the son of Hera in the Greek myths#on a different note#to this day I can't understand why Zeus would inspire Porphyrion to do such a thing#was it to get back at Hera for the Tityus incindent?#I shall headcanon it that way (even though I prefer to ignore this version)#well of course not that Zeus would have ever let Porphyrion actually have his way with Hera regardless of the reason#but yeah that was such move and it's wild that the mythographer didn't tell us that reason behind Zeus' action#I've also seen people hc that it was because Zeus wanted Heracles to save Hera so that she's accept him finally#which is also an interesting explanation#especially if you consider that Heracles was also given Hera's breast milk (without her consent)#anyway that's enough rambling ig

Christmas Pie
Written for @steddieholidaydrabbles prompt: DESSERT @steddiemas prompt: EGGNOG, BAKING wc: 989 rating: G CW: NA summary: Steve is back in Hawkins, missing Eddie. But at least he has Wayne to keep him company. ao3
Steve sighed as knocked on Wayne’s door. Last week went by too quickly and now he was back home, waiting for Eddie.
“Steve! Come in.” Wayne smiled as he opened the door, waving him inside. “I just finished the eggnog. Eddie hates it, so the only time I can drink it in peace is during these few weeks. You aint gonna complain are ya?” He asked good-naturedly. Steve huffed a laugh.
“No, I actually like eggnog.” He knocked the snow off his boots before he tucked them into the corner. “Don’t tell Eddie I said that.”
“You’re secret’s safe with me.” Wayne chuckled. The two men made their way to the kitchen, one of the reasons Steve was here today was to learn how to make Eddie’s favorite Christmas dessert. But when he walked in, he was extremely confused.
“What are these?” He asked. Wayne pat him on the shoulder.
“Cranberries. Ed’s favorite is Cranberry Lemon Christmas pie. Granny Munson’s recipe.” Wayne stepped into the kitchen and waved Steve forward.
“Huh, for some reason I assumed it would be something sweeter.” Steve chuckled. Eddie had a sweet tooth like nobody’s business, so he thought it was a fair assumption. The two men washed their hands and began prepping the pie. As they worked they talked; this was one of only a handful of times Steve has talked to Wayne without Eddie present.
“What was Eddie like as a kid?” Steve asked as they kneaded the pie dough.
“Rambunctious as all get out. He’d get into all kinds of trouble.” Wayne laughed. “I remember this one time, his mama stormed into the trailer after church. Now, we was just at church together, mind. So, in the ten minutes we’d been separated, Eddie tore his new dress playing in the dirt with the other boys. I laughed and said ‘I told y’all to buy the kid some church pants.’” Steve paused his hands.
“A dress? But Eddie’s...Eddie.” Steve said confused. Wayne gave him a calculated look..
“Eddie didn’t have the words to explain that he wasn’t a girl, at least not that young. Now, I had some idea, but his parents were surprised as all get out.” Wayne said softly. “It’s why he lived with me.”
“You had some idea?” Steve asked. Was Wayne like Eddie?”
“When I was sent to Nam, I met a man. We was close, so close in fact that it could have gotten us kicked out of service.” Wayne raised his eyebrows at Steve. “But when we came back, he wanted to end it between us. Said, that he wasn’t all that truthful.” Wayne smiled. “Said he wasn’t really a man named Sean, but a woman named Sheila. Said she was sorry for making me think she was a man, but she couldn’t pretend to be Sean anymore.”
“What happened?” Steve asked, pie forgotten for the moment.
“Ask Eddie to tell you about his spitfire Aunt Sheila some time.” Wayne smiled fondly. “She died from cancer a while back. That orange stuff hurt a lot of people.” Wayne sighed. “I woulda married that girl, if the law looked past what a person looked like.” Steve thought about that for a moment.
“Did you know before Eddie told you?” Steve asked.
“Sheila did. Said she recognized similar behaviors from her childhood to Ed’s just..in reverse.” Wayne tried his best to explain. “She was the first person he told. Then me. Then his parents.”
“What did they do?” Steve asked when Wayne didn’t seem to continue.
“Not good things Steve. Like I said, there’s a reason Eddie finished growing up with me.” Wayne said, a certain finality in his voice. Steve took the hint and went back to safer topics.
It was after the pies were cooling that Eddie finally called. “Hey, Eds. How are you?” Steve asked when it was his turn, he let Wayne go first; partially because that was his son, but also because Steve didn’t want a timeline on his call with Eddie.
“I’m alright. Miss you, sweetheart.” Eddie sighed. Steve could hear him getting comfortable in the hotel bed.
“I miss you, too. But I learned how to make your favorite pie!” Steve said enthused. But instead of a happy reaction, Eddie groaned.
“Was it cranberry lemon?” He asked apprehensively.
“Yes?” He responded confused. Eddie sighed, resigned to his fate.
“I told Granny I liked it one time as a kid because she was old and I thought she was dying. Turns out she wasn’t I just didn’t know what old people looked like. Then she made it every year ‘specially for me, so I was stuck eating that pie every year while I hated it. I thought when she died the pie would die with her, but nope, here Wayne is making it nearly fifteen years later.” He paused for effect.
Steve burst into laughter. “Why not just tell him?”
“He’ll be mad he wasted so many years making it. Promise me you’ll take that to the grave Harrington!” Eddie groused down the phone. He thought about dragging it out, but Steve remembered how happy Wayne was and couldn’t do it.
“Alright, alright. I won’t tell him.” Steve held his hands up as if Eddie could see him. “It’s late, I should let you get some sleep.” He whispered.
“Still want to move to LA. Stevie?” Eddie asked like he does every night.
“Yeah, see you at Christmas?” Steve asked hopefully.
“See you at Christmas.” Eddie promised.
As he laid in Eddie’s bed, he closed his eyes, imagined himself in LA. A band husband, a small business owner, with an amazing house, a kid or two they adopted, some pets. He saw the two of them with a rock solid foundation that wouldn’t have been possible if Steve moved in at the beginning of their relationship. The ability to be individuals was freeing.
He hated he’d have to admit Robin was right.

Father Figures, pt. 2
I swear it was a one-shot. But then my hand slipped and "oh oops there's Wayne". You can access part 1 here. This is rated m btw. The full version will be available on ao3 (my first time posting on there...) which is linked here. Anyway, enjoy :)
The first time Wayne Allen Munson meets Steve Harrington is in a hospital room. Sure, he has seen and heard about the kid in passing. It was hard not to in a town like Hawkins. With the kind of money his old man has and the pretty face his mother parades around, the Harringtons become a sort of household name. Especially in Wayne's household.
See, Wayne may not be much of a talker, but his nephew sure is. Especially when he gets angry about something. And boy did Steve Harrington make his Eddie mad. During Eddie's first time around with Senior Year, Steve's name comes out of that boy's mouth so often that if not for that tone of his, he would have thought the kid had a crush on him.
Actually, Wayne regretfully asks at one point if he does have a crush. Wayne finds out pretty quickly that Eddie doesn't, which isn't the problem nor why he regrets asking. The problem is apparently at that very moment in time, Eddie hasn't exactly come out to Wayne. The boy shakes so much that Wayne is afraid that Eddie might cause an earthquake. Wayne has to calm Eddie down and explain very carefully he doesn't care, he's his kid no matter what. Eddie cries, and asks "Dad, what made you think to just casually bring that up?"
Wayne shrugs and simply says "Didn't think it was a secret."
Eddie lets out a wet laugh. Wayne doesn't mention how it's the first time since Eddie showed up on his doorstep that he calls him Dad.
His heart swells.
So, with absolutely no crush in sight god Wayne he's an asshole, Steve's name is brought up quite often.
"Steve Harrington just parades himself around like he's a king."
"Steve Harrington just stands there while Tommy continues to be a piece of shit. Worse, he acts like he's bored."
"Girls just hang off of Harrington, he's even got Nancy Wheeler on his arm now. What a prick, thought she was smarter than that."
"Looks like Harrington got the shit kicked out of him by Byer's. You gotta love Karma sometimes."
Wayne watches Eddie frown at the last one before saying, "Kinda gotta back Steve up on the pictures though. That was creepy."
Eddie shakes his head then continues to rant "But smashing his camera? Dick move. Doesn't understand what it's like to be poor."
Wayne is still not completely convinced it's not a crush.
Wayne Allen Munson seems to know all about Steve Harrington before he actually has the chance to meet him. None of which he has learned makes Steve seem all that good.
Imagine Wayne's surprise when he finds the Harrington boy next to his son's hospital bed.
"What're you doin' here?" Wayne asks, startling Steve from his chair. Wayne watches as he hops up from the ground, straightening himself out.
"Sorry sir, I was just uh, keeping him company. The kid's families won't let them out of their sight and Dustin wanted him to have a familiar face with him if, sorry when he wakes up. Because we weren't sure we were allowed to grab you yet. So I volunteered to stay with him, seeing as I don't have a job anymore, and well I sort of feel responsible for Eddie now. And, god I am hanging out with Robin too much because I am rambling. Sorry, Sir. "
Wayne raises an eyebrow at him. He has seen Steve around town before, hard not to in a small place like Hawkins. Eddie points him out once, scoffing at his perfect hair and holier-than-thou attitude. Wayne originally is prepared to yell at him. The sight of a boy who looks very much like the very ones who hunted his Eddie down just a few days ago ignites something protective within him. Hearing this boy ramble though, flustered and making himself hopelessly small in front of Wayne, makes him hesitate.
"Boy, I don't know half-em names you're sayin' right now. I do recognize that kid Dustin though, ya know him?"
Steve nods his head up and down, "He's like my brother sir. Our brother." He looks down towards Eddie's bed.
Wayne avoids looking at his boy and chooses to look directly at Steve. "Well, he's a good kid. Came to me when Ed was missing, at the school. Told me he was a hero, and that he'll be missed. Guess now it was probably cause he wasn't sure if he was gonna make it and didn't want to get my hopes up. Don't know what made him change his mind either when he found me again today, told me they had him here."
Steve's face softens as Wayne talks about Dustin. Wayne pushes on, "If that kid trusts you, I don't got a reason not to trust you either. Well, until Eds here wakes up at least. He can tell me otherwise."
"Okay, Sir." Steve makes his way to move around Wayne and leave. Wayne grabs him by the wrist to stop him, and Steve flinches. Wayne decides to file that away for later and lets him go.
"No need to leave kid. And stop calling me sir. I'm not your old man. "
Steve's lips lift a little bit like Wayne just brought up an inside joke he isn't a part of. "Okay, sir—I mean Wayne. Okay, Wayne."
Steve and Wayne sit side by side next to Eddie. It's then Wayne finally looks down at his kid. He can't help but the rush of tears that come up at the sight of him. He is paler than usual, curls flat and dirty, tubes coming out of every part of him.
"My boy." He chokes.
Steve thankfully stays silent as Wayne weeps. They sit for a while in silence before Wayne asks, "You gonna tell me what happened?"
Steve, who Wayne doesn't point out has bloodshot eyes, says "You going to believe me?"
Wayne simply returns "I'm willing to try."
So Steve tells him. Tells him everything that has happened over the last week. Tells him of monsters and other worlds. How it isn't the first time, how it is hopefully the last. How scary it is for them. How Eddie is stupid but incredibly brave. How Eddie barely makes it. How Steve will be the first to yell at him when he wakes up.
Wayne listens carefully through the whole thing and can't help but think of how fond Steve sounds when Eddie's name comes up. This isn't the boy Eddie once spoke of. Albeit, it has been a long time since Eddie's spoken his name. Wayne isn't used to tigers changing their stripes though. It's a pleasant surprise he doesn't comment on.
Wayne rubs his thumb across Eddie's hand. "How did he get out? If he was practically dead?"
"Oh, I carried him Sir."
Wayne's head snaps to Steve. "What?"
Steve shrinks a bit, "Sorry I mean Wayne. Sorry I didn't mean to disrepe—"
Wayne cuts him off, "Dammit kid, I'm not mad at that. I'm not mad at all. It's just—you saved him. You carried him out of what I can only understand is what I think hell is, and you didn't think to mention that when I first saw you?" Wayne looks at Steve for a moment. Really looks at him. He's in clean jeans and a polo, but that's where his old persona ends. When Wayne looks at him closely, he can see the dark bags under his eyes, the purple bruising all over his body, and the angry red scar around his neck. Steve looks exhausted, physically and emotionally. Steve looks like a boy, desperately trying to be a man. He looks like a soldier after war.
"It's not a big deal. I did what anyone else would do."
Wayne shakes his head. "Steve. That's just the thing, I'm pretty sure no one else woulda done that. And even if they would, it doesn't make what you did any less important. So, thank you."
Steve's eyes mist a bit when Wayne says "it doesn't make what you did any less important." He looks away from Wayne and just nods.
"Okay?"
"Okay, Sir. Okay, Wayne."
---
When Eddie wakes a few days later, after a night of breathing on his own without the tubes, he interrupts Steve and Wayne's conversation on the Chicago Cubs, and says "Dad?"
Wayne is up in an instant, crowding his boy's face. "Oh, Eds. I am so glad yer alright. You scared me."
"Mmm sorry," Eddie mumbles nuzzling Wayne's chest. He then looks up towards Steve, who is watching the interaction between the two men. "Harrington?"
Steve leans forward on his elbows, and chokes out "I told you not to be cute."
Eddie giggles, his tears reflecting Steve's "Sorry big boy, can't help what you're born with."
Steve looks up at the ceiling with a wet laugh. It eventually turns into a deep sob. The only other time Wayne witnesses Steve break like this over the past few days is when he's reunited with Hopper. "You shithead, you're not allowed to be funny right now. Don't. Don't do that again. Okay? You really scared us." Wayne can hear Steve's unspoken you really scared me.
Eddie's tears are rushing down his face now. "I'm sorry Steve. I'm so sorry."
"You didn't do anything wrong. Just—next time, don't let there be a next time. Okay?" Steve's not making much sense to Wayne as he leans his head on Eddie's bed face down.
Eddie seems to get it though. He hesitantly strokes Steve's head with his fingers. "Okay, Stevie. I promise. Now, get some sleep. It's your turn, I've had enough."
Steve's shoulders sag as he gives in. Wayne shares a look with Eddie, and Wayne knows right there they have the same thought.
They've collected another stray.
———
When Eddie is home, Steve becomes a regular occurrence in their newly acquired government-funded house. He helps a lot the first month especially. Takes Eddie and the Mayfield girl to and from physical therapy. Cooks dinner on the nights Wayne works (which is most nights) and makes sure to have leftovers specifically labeled for Wayne. Keeps both Wayne and Eddie company when one of their stress becomes too much for the other. Steve's even there on the nights the nightmares get bad. Spends his time on the couch until Eddie wakes up screaming, and calms him back to sleep so Wayne doesn't worry about him at work. Or so Wayne can get a full night when he's off.
Steve's there so often enough, that when one night he isn't, Wayne's concerned.
"You're going to pace a hole into the floor boy." Wayne looks at Eddie in their living room from the couch. Wayne doesn't tell Eddie he's concerned too. Doesn't think it would help much.
"I'm sure he's just held up, or got plans Eds. Not like he was plannin' on coming here tonight."
Eddie stops and faces Wayne, biting his thumbnail instead. "Sure we didn't have plans. But Steve's been here every day for the past month Wayne. And when he hasn't he's called. I haven't heard from him in like 22 hours—" Wayne doesn't point out that Eddie did the actual math "—and that's weird. He doesn't do that. We don't do that."
Eddie's anxiety starts to seep into Wayne's. He can't help but think of the worst-case scenario. Car accident. A run-in with that Andy kid. His mind even jumps to when Eddie was in the hospital, and his stomach sinks. Wayne can't help it, he has grown attached to Steve.
"Why don't we call some of yer friends, yeah? Maybe they've seen your boy."
Eddie is so incredibly distressed and doesn't even rebuke Wayne calling Steve his like he usually does. "Yeah okay, good idea."
As Eddie reaches for the phone though, there is a light knock on the door. Eddie rushes to answer it.
"Steve thank god I was wondering—Oh my god sweetheart what happened?" Eddie drags Steve in and places him on the couch. It's then that Wayne sees him.
There on Steve's jaw, is a bruise the size of Indiana. Steve's eye is swollen, and he is breathing heavily while clutching his ribs. Wayne remains frozen and Eddie frets over Steve.
"Stevie, who did this? Where does it hurt? What can I do?"
"Eds I'm fine."
Eddie looks like he's about to yell but restrains himself. "You are most certainly not fine. Do not give me that look Harrington—"
"Oh I'm Harrington now."
"—Yes you are Harrington right now because only a Harrington would be this stubborn and ridiculous. Now tell me what happened and tell me what hurts."
Steve's resolve loosens slightly, and his head falls onto Eddie's shoulder. He lets out a painful whine, "My stomach. It—fuck—it hurts so bad Eds."
Eddie brushes his fingers through his hair and whispers to him gently. "It's okay baby, I got you."
Wayne realizes three things at once.
One, Wayne isn't sure Eddie has called Steve that before. He calls him names across the board. But baby isn't one of them. Wayne knows for a fact the two aren't together yet. They have been dancing along the line for a few weeks now. Wayne thinks about pushing the timeline along, but the boys don't seem to be there quite yet. This seems like a step in the right direction.
Two, in the past month and a half Wayne has gotten to know Steve, he realizes that the boy doesn't do well around older men. He flinches at every sudden movement Wayne makes, and won't even let him give him a pat on the back let alone a hug. Also in that time, Steve has barely gone home. Knows his parents didn't visit him at the hospital, but did come home two weeks later to make sure nothing is damaged from the earthquake. Assholes.
And three, Steve avoids the question as to what happened. Eddie seems to let it slide. Wayne doesn't give the same courtesy.
"Who did this?" Wayne says abruptly, startling Steve who seems to realize Wayne's presence only now.
"Wh-what?" Steve shakes.
"I'm not mad boy. But I'm not stupid. I know this ain't a what but a who. And I think we can both conclude who. But I'm going to ask you anyway. Who. Did. This?"
The last of Steve's resolve crumbles as Wayne puts a gentle hand on his shoulder. It is as if he hadn't known a gentle touch from a father before. Maybe he hasn't.
"My dad. He uh, we got into a fight last night. Found out how much time I was spending here, with Eddie, with the kids. He started saying how I was spending time with the wrong people. I tried to just nod and go upstairs because it was just easier to ignore him than fight him sometimes. Like what's he going to do right? He's only here a couple of days a year. But then he mentioned Robin and he called her a slur, and that said her kind was an abomination. And oh god I don't even know how he found that out Robs is going to be pissed she's been so careful—"
"Babe." Eddie squeezes Steve's hand.
"Right sorry, he just was going off about Robin. And it just set me off, I just lost it on him. How dare he talk about her that way? And I just told him that if he's got a problem with her, then he's got a problem with me too. And God Wayne, the silence that came after. It was like all the words had been sucked out of the room. Next thing I know he's grabbing me by the jaw and throwing me on the floor. And he just starts kicking me, screaming about how I am no son of his. I didn't know what to do. My mom just watched it all. I just laid there... I should have fought back—I—" Steve trails off trying to collect himself.
"When he was done he sent me to my room and told me to think about what I'm doing to this family. I just laid there all night and all day, just waiting for them to leave. I had to wait til they left for dinner tonight to get out. I can't—I can't go back there. Me and Robs were planning on moving in together next week, we made a deposit on this two-bedroom downtown, but I don't think I can spend another week there, and oh god, all my stuff is there. What have I done." Steve puts his head in his hands.
Eddie is crying with Steve by the end of it. Neither he nor Wayne comments on how Steve just came out to the both of them. It doesn't seem important at that moment. Wayne crouches down to eye level with Steve.
"You did nothing wrong. There is nothing wrong with you. You did what you had to do to survive, and even if you didn't it still wouldn't be your fault."
Wayne stands back to his full height. "Now, you can stay here until you and the bird girl have your place. Do not fight me on it. Anyway Steve, I know it's difficult right now. But I'm going to need you to let me know what you need from your house."
"What, why?"
Wayne just sighs, "I know you ain't stupid. Just tell me."
Steve seems hesitant but tells Wayne anyway.
He nods at both his boys when he speaks next. "You two stay put. I'll be back soon."
Steve and Eddie both look like they want to fight Wayne on it. Steve wants to stop him from leaving at all, and Eddie probably wants to stop him from going without him. They both smartly stay silent.
"Okay, Uncle Wayne."
"Okay, Wayne."
———
Later, Wayne comes back with three duffle bags and bruised knuckles.
Steve hugs him without a second thought.
———-
A few days pass and the three of them are in the kitchen when Eddie asks. "Did ya tell hop?"
Steve snorts in his coffee. "Hell no."
Wayne can't help his curiosity as he watches the both of them across the table.
"Steve, you have to tell Hop. He's going to find out anyway." Eddie pushes as he puts an ungodly amount of sugar in his coffee.
"No I don't. He'll just flip out, there is no good reason to tell him."
Eddie puts his hands on his hips. It reminds Wayne of Steve the past couple of times he's seen him around the kids. "I can think of one good reason. He's practically your dad. And I'm pretty sure your Dad would want to know what your old man did to ya."
Wayne can't help but hum in agreement. He knows if Eddie's old man comes around, he wants to be the first to find out.
Steve looks at Wayne briefly before saying, "No he's not. He's just like that with everyone."
"No, he's not. With El? Yea, that's his daughter. Maybe even Will. But not with anyone else. Except you. Why do you think I'm afraid of him?"
Steve gives him a look, "Cause he's an ex-cop Eds."
"Please that doesn't scare me. Didn't scare me when he was an actual cop either."
Wayne isn't sure that's entirely true. He remembers a very specific incident of Eddie tripping over his laces to get away from Jim.
Eddie carries on, "No, he scares me 'cause he's your dad, and I know he'll hang me by my toenails if I so much as make you cry. So yea, I think you should let him know. Besides, we both know he's going to be way more pissed when he finds out from literally anyone else. And we both know he will because you told Robin, who definitely told Nancy, who probably told Joyce, and you can see where I am heading with this."
Steve throws his head back and groans. "He's going to full government name me when he finds out."
Eddie lets out a manic giggle, "Ooo, you never told me what your full name is. Now you gotta tell me, Stevie."
Steve gives Eddie an exasperated look, "It's Steven James Harrington."
It's now Eddie's turn to groan. "Of course, you have his name. Well, I guess it's better than Richard. Hop must love that. Was kinda hoping you had my name or something."
Wayne makes a mental note to talk to Jim himself. Knows Steve will avoid it. But Wayne's got to make sure someone is looking after Steve when he can't. Wayne's been meaning to thank the man anyway. For all his done for Eddie. And now, for all he's done for Steve.
"Want me to make you feel better Eds?" Steve says with a smirk.
"Please. I'm not sure if I can go on any further with the torture of knowledge that contains your middle name."
"Hopper's middle name is Edward."
The scream of joy Eddie lets out nearly punctures what's left of Wayne's hearing.
———
By midsummer, the boys are an item. They haven't said anything to Wayne but he can tell. One day, the boys come back from their friend's weekly dinner holding hands. So they didn't have to tell Wayne. Not really.
It is just that, Wayne has gotten to know Steve Harrington over the past few months. He has gotten to know him as "Friend Steve" and "Brother Steve", and even after one intense game night, "King Steve". Wayne has a feeling though that "Boyfriend Steve" is different. As much as he likes the boy, his kid comes first. Wayne feels he needs to give Steve a talk.
The problem is he can't really give him a talk if neither of them has really told him. He has made that mistake once with Eddie, assuming, he won't be making it again.
So Wayne waits. And waits. And waits. And just as he is thinking he might never get the verbal confirmation from the two, he gets the image clear as day of what the two are on a Tuesday when he gets to go home early from work.
It's just not in the way he expects or wants.
Wayne can't really blame the boys. They didn't know Wayne would be coming home early, it was a surprise to Wayne himself. So they probably didn't think that anyone would be coming around the Munson household on Tuesday at midnight.
That doesn't make the situation any less scarring.
See, Wayne Allen Munson wasn't a god-fearing man. He can't be with what his Eddie had been through. But he can't help but think this is some sort of cosmic punishment when he gets home and hears moaning.
Wayne stands there in the foyer as a loud, "Yes baby just like that" and "Oh god, harder" and even the unfortunate "You're so tight, it's like you were made for me."
Wayne thinks god might be laughing at him. Wayne can't really go upstairs and stop them. They are both adults and he feels that having an image of what they are doing would be substantially worse than the noises.
Wayne decides to put some earplugs in (which thankfully cut off the noise, since his age made him half deaf anyway), sat in his armchair, and waits it out.
About an hour later (jesus an hour later) Steve comes downstairs to the kitchen in only his boxers. He doesn't seem to notice Wayne. His head is in the freezer when Wayne decides to clear his throat loudly.
Steve slams his head in fright and whips around with an icepack in his hand. "Oh shit."
"Oh shit is right."
All the color drains from Steve's face. "How much did you hear?"
Wayne appreciates that Steve cuts right to the chase. "Enough." He knows he can explain to the boy that he didn't really hear that much, and the earplugs are firmly in his hands as evidence, but he decides to torture Steve.
Just a little bit, can't have him too comfortable.
"I'm so sorry Mr. Munson, I—"
Wayne cuts him off. "No need to apologize, just as long as you boys are being safe that's all I care about. No that ain't what I want to talk to you about."
Steve visibly swallows as he sits across the counter from Wayne. "What about then?"
"Look, I'm awfully happy for the two of you. It's about time you boys got your shit together—"
Steve lets out a small laugh at the comment. Wayne continues. "—but I need to make things clear with you Steve. You hurt my kid, I hurt you. Eds has been through a lot. Not just with the whole spring break situation. I mean his whole life. He bounced around from place to place until he landed on my doorstep. He's used to giving his all, and not getting much in return. Eddie loves with his whole chest, and he doesn't know how to do it any other way. You better make sure you're worthy of it because I am not sure anyone is...including me. You're pretty damn close though, I know it. I can see it. You're a good person. But that boy is my whole world. I know where to hide a body if need be."
Wayne expects Steve to cower in fear, but instead, he smiles softly at him. "Don't worry. I'll dig the grave myself. I'll try my best not to hurt him, sir. I can't promise much, but I can promise I'll love him every day without fail."
"You tell him that yet kid?"
Steve shakes his head, "No. I think soon though sir."
Wayne nods feeling satisfied. "Good, and enough of this sir crap I thought we've been over this."
"Okay, Wayne."
"Better. Now, who's the ice pack for? You or him, because I don't want to have to grab the shovel outta the shed tonight."
Steve's blush spreads from his cheeks all the way down to his chest. "Uuuh, for me sir. I mean Wayne."
"Good. Go grab my son for me now will ya?"
Steve stutters, "Wh-what? Why?"
"Just go grab 'em."
Steve runs upstairs and brings down a smug-looking Eddie. Wayne's sure Steve gave him the rundown of what he heard, and Eddie doesn't appear to be ashamed like Steve had the smarts to do.
Little shit.
"Sorry Wayne didn't know you were home. Was that what you wanted to talk about?"
Wayne looks from Steve to Eddie, before narrowing his eyes at the latter. "Nope. It's your turn."
"My turn?" Eddie's confident face turns confused while Steve's flashes surprise.
"Yea kid your turn." Wayne contemplates for a second what to say, but knows in the end that Eddie will get the message loud and clear from one sentence alone.
"You hurt him—" Wayne turns to point at Steve, before facing Eddie again "—I hurt you. Got it?"
All the color drains from Eddie's face. That's the reaction he is looking for.
"Got it." Eddie grabs Steve's hand to make his way back upstairs. Before they are completely out of sight, Steve catches Wayne's eye. The boy looks softer than he did before. He looks like he wants to say something but settles on,
"Goodnight Wayne."
"Goodnight Steve."
———
Steve doesn't ask Wayne about that night until months later in October. Wayne is on the couch with a beer when Steve walks in (he has the key Eddie gave him in September). "Eddie's not here right now. Think he's running late with band practice."
"Oh I'm sorry. I can come back later." Steve stands awkwardly in the doorway.
"Don't be silly come sit. I'm just watching the game. It's no cubs considering they didn't make it far, but it's still a good game."
Steve nods and makes himself comfortable on the couch. Since spring break, Wayne and Steve have built a friendship of sorts. Steve still shows signs of apprehension in the first few seconds, but the conversation becomes an easy flow after a while. They usually talk about sports, cars, or cooking. All stuff Wayne enjoys but Eds won't show the slightest interest in. It's nice, to have someone to share this stuff with.
Today they mostly talk about the game on tv and Eddie's habit of running late. It's after a particularly funny joke about Eddie being late to his own birth that Steve asks, "Hey Wayne, can I ask you something?"
"Ya just did kid."
"God, you sound like Eddie."
Wayne chuckles, "Sure Steve. Shoot."
"Why did you talk to Eddie too? About the whole, hurting each other stuff? I mean Eddie's your kid, and I'm just the guy who gets to spend time with him." Steve waves his hands around, it reminds Wayne of Ed.
"Well, I love ya both," Wayne says easily while he takes a sip of his beer, like it isn't hard to say. And it isn't really. It was quite simple to Wayne. Just like Eddie, Steve might not be his kid by blood but he is close as he can come.
"Oh." Steve takes a deep breath, as if he is holding back tears, and says "Thanks, Wayne. I love you too."
Wayne almost mistakes the pain as Steve's voice as reluctance. The happiness that shines in his eyes says something else. Says he doesn't hear that from fathers very often. Says he hopes Wayne means it.
He does mean it.
Eddie walks in the doorway to find the two men silently staring at each other, and Steve close to tears. "Well hello there my lovely family how are—Wayne what did you do to Steve? Did you yell at him? I promise the bruise on my face was from dropping a wrench while trying to fix the van. Nothing else." Eddie pulls Steve up and squishes his face between his hands. "What did he say to you, baby?"
Steve shakes his head and laughs lightly at Eddie's antics. "Nothing bad. Promise. Happy tears."
"Happy tears?"
"Happy tears."
Eddie stares at him for long moment before deciding he believes him. "Okay. Okay. I relent." He grabs Steve's hand and throws a wave at Wayne. "Let's go upstairs though, I have to tell you about practice and how Gareth brought a boy with him! And you'll never believe what boy it was! It was our little baby Byers himself..."
Wayne hears Steve's gasp and Eddie's giggle as he continues on up the stairs. Wayne can't help the warmth that settles in his chest.
Because Wayne Allen Munson is lucky to have two wonderful boys. And he is even luckier that his two boys love each other. Because they deserve that and so much more.

Okay, it’s a lot I know. I just couldn’t resist. I wanted to write Steve and Wayne too. I think this one is less sad and more funny but I think that kind of speaks for the kind of relationship the two of them would have. Also it contains much more steddie than the last one. I’m thinking about maybe writing a part 3 with Steve’s relationship with the kids and how he’s their father figure? But for now it ends here. Also this took me like two days to write? I’m sorry for any mistakes or rushed parts. I am one woman show. Thank you so much for reading! I hope you enjoyed :)
Also I have finally posted on ao3!!! Can’t believe it, I’ve been so nervous about it especially because I am still without a beta. But this felt long enough to put there and I wanted to be able to share with more people.
access part. 1 here and ao3 here

they see you in lingerie v.2
pro heroes x fem!reader⋆。°✩ — implied size difference, implied smut, 650 words
ua students, villains
Tumblr media
todoroki enji (endeavor)
⭑.ᐟ enji’s standing in front of your bed, phone in hand, taking an after work phone call when you walk out. the second he lays those ocean blue eyes on you, his mouth goes a little slack.
he quickly recovers and you can see how now he’s gripping his phone tightly. so tightly it’s starts making creaking noises. he ends the call quickly, his voice gruff. he smirks, eyes still on you and he licks his lips as he stalks towards you.
there is no hint of embarrassment or nervousness on his face or in his body language. just sheer horniness at seeing his girl getting all dressed up for him and looking so delicious.
he grabs you by your waist, pulling you into his much broader frame. he leans down, pulling you into a rough kiss and muffling your giggles.
he kisses you like he could eat you up, and he does… all night.
Tumblr media
takami keigo (hawks)
⭑.ᐟ keigo gives you a big grin, eyes roving over your body. he chuckles airily and whilst leaning back slightly.
he says, “wow. you look great babe.” he’s looking at you lewdly, still smirking, imagining the things he would be doing you tonight once he got his hands on you.
you stretch your arms overhead, twirling and giggling to show the lingerie off to him. you watch as he bites his lip, tongue flicking over it once with supple pink flesh is released from his teeth.
once you reach him, you sit on his lap, legs to one side, and throw your arm around his shoulders. his hands grasp your waist and neck, drawing you into a sweet kiss… which quickly turns into something more intense.
you pull back, breathless, and he starts telling you everything he was going to do to you, all night long. and to which, you have no objection.
Tumblr media
aizawa shouta (eraserhead)
⭑.ᐟ you walk out while shouta is mid-yawn. typical. he gives you a lazy once-over.
“well, what do you think?” you say.
he stares at you and responds with, “you look fine.”
at this, you pout. “just fine?” you coo. shouta shrugs before motioning with his hand for you to come over to him. as you do so, your brows are furrowed and mouth still in a pout at your boyfriend’s lack of enthusiasm.
shouta sighs as he looks up at you, standing in front of him. he places his hands on your hips, palming them and bringing you onto his lap, straddling him. your hands go to the back of his neck, fingers twirling in his dark locks. he gives you a slight smile before going in for a kiss, but you pull back.
“shouta,” you start, “don’t you like it?”
he rolls his eyes at you, “’course I do. now, stop talking.” he brings you in for a passionate kiss.
you’re the reason he’s going to be sleep-deprived tonight.
Tumblr media
sasaki mirai (sir nighteye)
⭑.ᐟ mirai’s already half-way across the room — from the bed to the wardrobe — by the time you come out. you realise that he must have seen your lingerie even before you came out. you giggle, enjoying the way his purple eyes trail over you, back and forth.
“what’s so funny, doll?” his thin brows are pulled slightly together as he closes the distance between you two. hands already on your hips. you bite your lip, trying to stop your laughter. smiling, you shake your head and look down.
mirai’s large hand comes to your cheek, bringing your gaze back up to him. he smiles at you softly, wrapping his other hand other around you. you’re drawn close into his chest, your soft, supple body pressed against his much firmer one.
“you won’t tell me?” he says. his eyes now stare into yours, trying to discern your next course of action.
you bite your lip and slowly shake your head this time. at this, his lips stretch into a smile. “you will.”

not exactly a request (feel free to write the idea however) but i was thinking of smth miiight with a little tw on a certain interpretation of aven's past, but i'd like to think about Aventurine honestly spouting that it's nice to have an enjoyable intimate moment while he cuddled his lover after bed matters and reader is just like hugged him tight knowing what it implies.
"You hug me tightly as if it's just a sweet dream"
Summary: After an intimate moment, Aventurine allows himself to be vulnerable, confessing how much he treasures the rare comfort of being loved without conditions. You embrace him tightly, offering reassurance and unconditional love as you share a quiet, tender moment that helps him begin to heal from his past.
Tags: Fluff and Hurt/Comfort, Post-Intimacy Cuddling, Emotional Vulnerability, Slow Burn Healing, Implied Past Trauma, Established Relationship.
Warnings: Brief mentions of Aventurine’s traumatic past, Themes of vulnerability and recovery from emotional trauma.
A/N: need to give him all the hugs and kisses now 😕
Tumblr media
The room was cloaked in the soft glow of moonlight filtering through gauzy curtains, casting faint patterns on the walls. The quiet hum of the city outside blended into the peaceful stillness inside, broken only by the sound of slow, steady breaths. Aventurine lay beside you, his hair disheveled and his eyes half-lidded with a rare sense of vulnerability.
His arm draped lazily across your waist, his fingertips tracing absent patterns on your bare skin. The intimacy of the moment felt fragile, as if speaking too loudly would shatter it. He wore his usual post-mischief grin, but there was a softness in his expression, a naked honesty he rarely revealed to anyone but you.
“You know…” Aventurine’s voice was low, his usual sharpness dulled by the haze of afterglow. “It’s nice. This.”
You tilted your head slightly to look at him, catching the way his eyes seemed to drift, not quite meeting yours. His fingers paused their lazy movements, his hand now resting warm and steady on your side.
“It’s nice to just… enjoy a moment,” he continued, his tone uncharacteristically somber. “Not to think about what’s next or what I need to win. Just this.”
His words settled between you like a confession, carrying a weight that wasn’t immediately apparent. You could hear the unspoken truth in his voice, the years of calculating every move, every risk, every wager. The memories of a past where he’d been treated as nothing more than a tool, a piece on someone else’s chessboard.
Your chest tightened. You reached out without a word, pulling him close, wrapping him in an embrace that was as much for you as it was for him. Aventurine didn’t resist, his body folding against yours as if he had been waiting for that very moment of solace.
He exhaled softly, the tension in his shoulders melting away under your touch. His head rested against your chest, and you felt his fingers grip you just a little tighter, his calm facade momentarily slipping.
“You’re too good to me, you know?” he murmured, his voice muffled against your skin.
“You deserve this.” you replied, your voice firm but gentle.
For a moment, silence stretched between you. Aventurine’s breathing grew slower, more even, but you knew he wasn’t asleep. The vulnerability in his eyes, the way he clung to youit wasn’t just exhaustion. It was trust.
“Sometimes…” he began again, voice barely audible, “I wonder what it’d be like if I’d known this kind of comfort before. Maybe I wouldn’t have turned out the way I did.”
You hugged him tighter, your heart breaking at the rawness in his voice. “You’re not defined by your past,” you whispered. “You’re here now, and you’re loved.”
His fingers brushed your back, an unspoken thank-you in the way he touched you. Aventurine pressed a soft kiss against your collarbone, a gesture so tender it almost brought tears to your eyes.
“I’ll admit,” he said with a weak chuckle, “I didn’t think I’d ever get this. You make life feel… worth the risk.”
You pulled back just enough to look at him, your hand cupping his face. His eyes finally met yours, and in them, you saw a flicker of something rare: hope.
“You’re worth it too.” you said simply.
For the first time, Aventurine didn’t have a quick, witty retort. Instead, he leaned into your touch, letting himself feel the weight of your words. And for that night, the strategist, the gambler, the broken boy who had clawed his way out of the ashes, allowed himself to be held—not as a piece in a game, but as someone worthy of love and peace.

June of (minimal) Doom 2024 Day 17 - You don't want to do that
If you haven't checked the tags then take this as your content warning for referenced/implied rape/non-con and forced prostitution.
When Satoru freezes at his side, despite the punishing beat that’s still going strong, Suguru realises that they shouldn’t have come to this frat party in the first place. When Satoru had asked him—almost begged him to come—he should have put his foot down and told him no, instead of giving in to his every whim like Suguru is prone to do.
They could have had a relaxing evening in their bed, instead of coming to this godforsaken party where the sight of someone is leaving Satoru frozen in fright but hindsight is twenty-twenty, as they say.
They’ll just have to deal with this, whatever it is, and then Suguru can drag Satoru home, away from whoever is putting that horrible look on his face and cuddle him until he’s all better.
“Satoru,” Suguru says, his voice full of concern because he’s not sure Satoru has even taken a breath in the last minute and he is proven right when Satoru sucks in a shuddering breath.
“Suguru, I’m so sorry,” he gets out, his voice shaky and now that doesn’t make any sense of all.
Clearly it’s Satoru who is frightened; why the hell would he apologise to Suguru?
“If it isn’t Satoru-chan,” a reedy voice says and Suguru decides he doesn’t like the guy before he even lays eyes on him.
Seeing him doesn’t make it any better because the guy is leering at Satoru in a way that makes Suguru’s stomach churn.
“Mahito,” Satoru whispers out, one hand sneaking out to tightly grip Suguru’s sleeve as if he needs something to hold on to and Suguru shifts on instinct, puts himself slightly in front of Satoru as if he could shield him from this Mahito that way.
“You look absolutely stunning,” Mahito says, leaning around Suguru to better be able to look at Satoru and the way he doesn’t even spare Suguru a glance rankles in a way he’s not used to. “A true sight for sore eyes.”
“Wish I could say the same,” Satoru weakly says and then he addresses Suguru without ever taking his eyes off Mahito. “We wanted to leave, remember? Let’s go now, it’s getting way too crowded here anyway.”
“Aw, you don’t even want to catch up with your old friend?” Mahito asks before Suguru can react to Satoru’s words and Satoru finches as if he’s been hit. “I didn’t know you were in town or else I would have hit you up earlier.”
Suguru still has no clue what’s going on but even over the loud music he can hear the threat in those words. He has no idea who this guy is or what his history with Satoru is but Suguru knows that it can’t be anything good.
“Yeah, you’re right, let’s leave now,” Suguru says, reacting to what Satoru said instead of giving Mahito more time to speak but before he can even turn around to Satoru, Mahito’s hand shoots past him, snatching Satoru’s wrist in a way that must be painful going by the hiss he lets out.
“Mahito,” Satoru says warily, though he doesn’t try to remove his hand from his arm and Suguru can see the fear in his eyes.
“Get your hands off him,” Suguru says, reaching for Mahito’s wrist in turn and squeezing until he lets go of Satoru.
“You have quite the ape on your side it seems,” Mahito drawls out, roaming his eyes up and down Suguru’s frame and he feels dirty for it. “Why don’t you stay with me for a while, Satoru, I am much better company, as I am sure you remember.”
“No,” Satoru get out, and even though it’s quiet his voice is steady.
Suguru still has no real clue who this guy is or what’s going on but it’s clear that they have history and going by the surprise in Mahito’s eyes, he’s not quite used to Satoru telling him no. Suguru is immensely proud of him for that.
“Satoru,” Mahito warningly says and Satoru flinches back at that once more. “Come with me.”
His voice demands to be obeyed and there’s a split second where it seems Satoru moves without his conscious thought but then he steps closer to Suguru, hides behind his back and he says it again.
“No.”
Mahito’s eyes narrow in a way that makes Suguru shift his weight subtly in case the guy darts forward to attack and the motion must have been enough to bring his attention back to Suguru because his mismatched eyes fall on Suguru once more.
His gaze speaks of danger and it’s enough make a shudder run down Suguru’s back but it’s certainly not enough to make him cower in front of this guy.
Not when Satoru is this scared already.
“Ah, is this your latest boy-toy?” Mahito drawls out, addressing Satoru again. “He looks so boring.”
“Let’s go home,” Satoru repeats again and something cruel passes over Mahito’s face as he hears it.
“You don’t want to do that, Satoru. Walk away from me now and who can tell what will happen. Word of what you did back in the day might even reach your boy-toy and then what will he think of you? What will you do if he leaves you all alone after learning what you’ve done.”
Mahito’s voice makes Suguru sick to his stomach and it seems Satoru is not fairing much better because he’s pale and shaking and Mahito’s words are clearly getting under his skin.
“Shut up!” Satoru yells out, clearly scared out of his mind but it only makes Mahito laugh.
“You just need to come with me,” Mahito tells him again. “We had such a good time together, don’t you remember?”
“Oh, I remember,” Satoru spits out and Suguru needs to get them out of Mahito’s presence right this moment because Satoru looks as if he’s about to throw up.
“Wonderful,” Mahito claps his hands together as if those are the greatest news he ever received. “Then let’s go back together. I’m sure there are so many people who’d love to see you again!”
Suguru doesn’t think. He feels Satoru flinch again and it’s as if his body is moving on it’s one. He practically watches how his arm flies out, hand curled into a fist and in the next moment it connects with Mahito’s face.
Mahito crumbles like a puppet with its strings cut and some people around them stumble back when they realise what just happened.
“Suguru,” Satoru yells out and pulls him back. “We need to leave, come on, we have to go!”
He’s yanking on Suguru’s arm and even though Suguru would love to do nothing more than to wait for Mahito to pick himself up again so he can beat him down again, he reluctantly follows Satoru as he drags him out of the house.
“You think someone saw?” Satoru mutters once they are outside and Suguru huffs out a laugh.
“A lot of people saw. Question is if any of them care.”
“Right, right,” Satoru gives back and then falls silent.
He stays that way all the way back to their apartment and Suguru decides against pressing for now. It’s clear that meeting Mahito was not a good thing and Satoru seems more than rattled right now. Suguru doesn’t want to make matters worse by asking questions out in public, so he’ll wait until they are in the privacy of their own home.
“Come to the bathroom, we have to treat your hand,” is the first thing Satoru says after the door is closed behind them and Suguru looks down at his hand.
He didn’t even realise he split the skin open with his punch but he dutifully follows Satoru.
“Satoru, are you okay?” he asks him once he’s seated on the toilet, Satoru kneeling in front of him and he immediately bites his tongue when Satoru flinches.
“I should be asking you that, you’re the one who’s bleeding,” he still gives back and even smiles at Suguru but Suguru knows him well enough to see the strain behind it.
“Satoru,” Suguru mutters and reaches out with his uninjured hand to cup Satoru’s cheek in it. “Are you alright?”
There’s a beat of silence before Satoru chokes out a “No”.
It’s not a surprise, not with how shaken up he still seems and so Suguru simply nods.
“Are you—not going to ask?” Satoru haltingly asks once he deems Suguru’s hand treated enough for now and Suguru hums in thought.
“It came as a surprise to you to see him,” he states and even though it’s not a question, Satoru still nods. “And you don’t want to see him again.”
“Never,” Satoru spits out and even though there’s anger blazing in his eyes now, his hands are still shaking with fear.
“Okay,” Suguru simply says and Satoru stares at him as if he grew a second head.
“Yeah, right,” he then says, disbelief colouring his voice and Suguru sighs.
“Satoru, you could have murdered someone and I wouldn’t care. It doesn’t matter to me.”
Satoru laughs hysterically and it sets Suguru on edge. He wishes he could ease whatever it is right now that’s plaguing Satoru but he doesn’t know how to.
“It’s so much more degrading than that,” Satoru whispers and there’s a crazy look in his eyes. “And if I tell you then you’ll ask for the why and when I tell you about that—you won’t get it, you’ll think I’m such a spoiled, stupid brat who doesn’t even appreciate what he has and then there’ll be that and the disgust of what I have done, what was done to me and then you’ll leave me!”
Satoru’s voice cracks over the last words and Suguru’s heart splits clean in two when tears fall down Satoru’s cheeks.
It seems he has already decided on what will happen in their future, but Suguru is not going to accept that vision, because there is no way in any universe where he’s going to leave Satoru.
“Satoru,” he says, his voice strong and steady and Satoru’s eyes immediately snap to his as if he doesn’t have another choice.
Suguru doesn’t know what happened to Satoru—though with what he just said there’s a sickening suspicion forming in his mind and even though Suguru would love to reject that completely it would explain why Satoru sometimes gets so peculiar about anything physical between them—and in all honesty he knows so little about his past that it should probably bother him, but Satoru never talked about it and even when Suguru pressed he skirted around the questions with meaningless non-answers and eventually Suguru got the hint. He stopped asking and Satoru started relaxing.
And no matter what it is that Satoru did, that was done to him, Suguru doesn’t care.
“Whatever you did, whatever you had to do, it all led you to me, so I don’t care. If it means you found your way to me then I don’t care. You’re here, now, and that’s all that matters to me.”
Satoru blinks at him, clearly taken aback by what Suguru just said and Suguru thinks he might have fucked up when Satoru’s tears flow even more freely.
“How can you even say that?” Satoru sobs out eventually and Suguru pulls him into a hug.
“Because I love you.”
And really, it’s as easy as that for him. He loves Satoru and whatever it is that happened in his past and with Mahito, it’s clearly upsetting to Satoru, so Suguru is not going to judge him for any of it should Satoru ever want to tell him.
“Do you want us to move?” Suguru asks once Satoru’s sobs have died down a little bit and he curses himself when that sets Satoru off once more.
“You would just do that?” he cries out and Suguru shrugs.
“Satoru, you’re my everything. If you think you’re not safe here anymore, if you’re going to be afraid after meeting Mahito in this city, then we’ll move, no questions asked.”
“How can you still be like this when I’m keeping so much from you?” Satoru wants to know and he sounds exhausted down to the bone, so Suguru makes the executive decision to move them to the bed.
Satoru is still in his arms, awkwardly perched on his lap, but that makes it easy to simply tighten his arms around him and standing up, much to Satoru’s surprise it seems because his squeak nearly makes Suguru go deaf.
“What are you doing?”
“Going to bed,” Suguru tells him. “I’m exhausted and you’re no better.”
Satoru doesn’t argue with him which lets Suguru know just how tired Satoru really is and in a matter of minutes they are safely cocooned in their blanket.
“It doesn’t matter to me how much you keep from me,” Suguru says, once Satoru is curled into his arms. “I just know that today was upsetting to you and I’m trying to figure out how to make it better.”
“I don’t deserve you,” Satoru whispers and Suguru growls at that.
“You deserve everything,” he fiercely says and is not surprised when he feels new tears soak his shirt.
“That’s not true,” Satoru mutters, “you’ll see. I’m going to—I’ll tell you tomorrow.”
Suguru thinks that he should probably agree enthusiastically to that but seeing Satoru this distressed today really puts a damper on things.
“Only if you want to,” he mutters and kisses the top of Satoru’s head. “Only if you feel ready.”
“I’ll never feel ready,” Satoru admits and leans back to properly look at Suguru. “But you said it wouldn’t matter to you, no matter what, and I—I trust you more than I am afraid,” he goes on and Suguru loves him so much it feels as if he’s drowning in it.
“I love you,” he breathes out and when Satoru leans in for a kiss he doesn’t even mind that it tastes salty.
“I love you,” Satoru replies when they part and there’s a new resolve in his eyes.
Suguru will not let whatever it is that Satoru will tell him tomorrow change anything but he definitely knows one thing: he’ll be immensely proud of Satoru for facing whatever it is that haunts him.
And once everything is said and done, Suguru will make sure to remind Satoru that he still loves him—always will—and then they’ll figure out their future.
But they’ll do that together, too.

Santa is coming to town
Written for @steddieholidaydrabbles prompt: FORMAL wc: 860 rating: G CW: NA AO3 summary: Steve gets an invite to the Band Christmas Party.
It’s Christmas Eve and Steve’s so excited to see Eddie again. It felt like it’s been years since he last saw him, when really it’s been two weeks. The knock at the door startled him slightly. He thought he was meeting up with Eddie at Wayne’s?
He ran to open it to see...a fed? A man in a three piece suit with an earpiece stood on his porch, sunglasses on even though it was getting dark already.
“Can I help you?” Steve asked, barely opening the door. The man stared for a moment.
“Are you Steve Harrington?” He asked. Steel immediately went up his spine. His hand inched behind the door for his bat.
“Who’s asking?” The man didn’t respond. Instead he reached into his coat pocket and handed Steve an official looking envelope and a garment bag.
“Correspondence from, Theodore Munson.” He said before he walked away without a backward glance. Steve furrowed his brows as he opened it.
Steven Harrington,
You are formally invited to the Crossroads Records
Annual Christmas Party, Christmas Eve, 1986.
Dress code is black tie.
William D.
Steve tossed the bag onto the couch and stared at the message for ten minutes before his phone rang. He ran to answer it. “Hello, Harrington Residence.” He said on autopilot as he reread the letter.
“Stevie! Did you get my letter?” Eddie’s voice boomed through. Steve chuckled...he must have timed it.
“Yeah.” Steve sighed.
“So, you’re coming?” Eddie asked hopefully. He wanted to say yes, he assumed the garment bag had formal attire for him, but…
“I don’t want to cramp your style, Eds.” Steve said softly. “I’m just a regular guy, I don’t want to make it weird.” There was a long pause.
“You listen to me Steve Harrington. You are not ‘just’ anything. You are not some groupie or something. You are my boyfriend. And I want the people to know you, to see you.” Eddie answered. Steve’s breath hitched.
“Are you sure?” Steve whispered.
“I want everyone to know, that you’re mine. And I’m yours.” Steve gasped softly as a few tears escaped.
“If you say so.” Steve whispered.
“Thank you, I’ll pick you up tonight?” Eddie asked. Steve agreed on a time and they said their goodbyes.
Steve opened the garment bag on the couch and gasped. A beautiful three piece suit, complete with a silk neck tie, stared back at him. He reminded himself to thank Chrissy.
~~~
Steve stood outside to wait, not willing to give up a single moment of time with Eddie. That turned out to be a great idea when an honest to god sleigh came to a sudden halt in front of him. It was pulled by three reindeer, thankfully it had a top, and it was bright red. The door thrust open and Eddie stepped out in all his glory.
Steve imagined what Eddie’s formal wear would look like, he’s seen the magazine covers, he knew the man didn’t really ‘do’ black tie. But, he was stunning. Black suit pants and coat to match Steve’s but his had glitter in the seams. No shirt underneath, simply a few necklaces with his signature rings on his fingers. Eddie pulled him inside and he was shocked to see Wayne and Robin.
“He send you a fed to invite him too?” Steve asked the two.
“He drags me to this thing every year. I told him don’t bother sending an invite, just the suit.” Wayne sighed; resigned to his fate.
“Yeah! Talk about scary, I mean...who sends a random dude with an earpiece to hand someone an envelope and a fancy suit.” Robin said. Steve smiled at Eddie. He made sure to put Robin in a similar suit to all of theirs. Her tied was a bow tie, though.
“Sorry! I didn’t know he looked like a fed!” Eddie said as if this wasn’t the first time they’ve had this conversation. “Besides, I needed you there, Chris will stress herself out and I figured, you could relax her.” Eddie said slyly. Robin froze at that.
“Chrissy! She’s going to be there? Why didn’t you say anything?” Robin shouted. As she worked herself into a real panic, Wayne reached over to reassure her. Steve took the moment to kiss Eddie softly.
“Merry Christmas.” He whispered.
“Told you, I’d be here.” Eddie said smugly.
“And springing the party on me?” Steve asked with pursed lips.
“I didn’t want you to have time to think through that we’re going to a label party. So, there will be a lot of famous people.” Eddie rushed out.
“You’re lucky, I love you.” Steve said. The three other people in the sleigh gasped, but Steve ignored two of them. “Really?” He asked quietly. But Steve heard it, he heard the insecurity.
“Eds I’ve had a crush on you since 1980. Since the talent show in the eighth grade.” Steve said. “Even if you didn’t do what you do now, I would still want to be right here.” Eddie chuckled lightly. “Of course I love you.”
“I love you, too.” He whispered as he kissed him again. God it was good to have him home.
