I’ve been plagued by this incessant urge to hug and cuddle Dan Heng and I’m so upset that I can’t because he’s a fictional character. 🥲
Can we maybe get a tiny short little thing where Reader hugs Dan Heng? No reason at all, they’re just craving Dan Heng cuddles—
Tumblr media
The hum of the Astral Express was a familiar lull, the rhythmic vibrations underfoot a quiet comfort. You found Dan Heng in his usual spot—the archive room, nose buried in a datapad, his expression unreadable as always.
You hesitated for only a second before stepping forward, arms wrapping around him from behind. He tensed, his entire body going rigid, but he didn’t pull away.
“…What are you doing?” His voice was level, though you could hear the slight confusion in it.
“Just… hugging you,” you murmured, resting your forehead against his shoulder. “No reason. Just felt like it.”
Dan Heng was silent for a moment, long enough that you started wondering if you’d overstepped. Then, with a quiet sigh, he relaxed. One of his hands—uncertain, hesitant—came to rest over yours.
“…I see.” A pause. “You should have told me sooner if you needed this.”
You smiled against his back. “Would you have said yes?”
“…Perhaps.”
A small victory, but a victory nonetheless.

Cooking smth up about Dan Heng and how despite him coming off as lonely and closed off, he’s probably the one who cherishes the others the most… That previous line from Argenti’s CQ I mentioned earlier (“it’s alright, we’re in this together), his skill in the cosmic home decor event being the fact that you can submit anyone’s report and it would count toward the points (kinda forgot how it exactly works LOL), and his join party lines where he reassures us that he has our back (DHIL join party line) and where he threatens blade to keep his distance from us… Fake emo I saw you SMILING I SAW YOU CARING… He lost the IDGAF war…

NO OK BUT I'M STILL NOT OVER BOOTHILL AND DAN HENG AND THE JADE ABACUS IN ENA'S DREAM!!!!!
For some extra context, I have a whole henghill manifesto I wrote over here, but the tl;dr is that Dan Heng decides to use the Jade Abacus of Allying Oath to save the Express Crew the first time. Boothill urges him to think it over carefully, but he doesn't stop him. And then, the second time Dan Heng decides to use it, we get this instead:
Tumblr media
And just! That's so!! so!!!
Because like. We see in the first battle against Sunday that that Jade Abacus is effective, like we really do just get an entire army lead by a whole-ass Emanator of The Hunt right to our location and ready to fuck shit up. It's important. It's incredibly valuable. That is a huge amount of power to hold in the palm of one's hand.
But Tiernan's relic works the same way.
Galaxy Rangers are terribly dangerous. Boothill comments on this when discussing Acheron's motives, because he can't believe anyone would be stupid enough to get The Hunt on their asses. They're considered to be on a level even above The Annihilation Gang.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And now, with the burial relic, he has a way to get thousands of them, almost immediately, and all in one place.
Tumblr media
And you can't tell me that wouldn't be something extremely useful to Boothill, like literally life-saving. He's wanted by the IPC. He makes his living as a bounty hunter. His whole driving motivation in life right now is to do whatever he can, up to and including throwing away his own human body, to ruthlessly hunt down one man and kill him in revenge. Like that has to be dangerous, the IPC is a massive entity with far-reaching influence and money and power and weaponry. He surely must have already had some close calls.
Like can you imagine it? Galaxy Rangers are solitary creatures. If Boothill were to find himself near death, he would probably be all alone. Do you think he had regrets? Did he wonder if anyone would find his own burial relic? Did it feel the same way it did when they melted his flesh, replaced it with metal? Did he lay there with his vision slowly blacking out until he thought of home, and family, and the little daughter who he never even got to hear her first word, until he was so full of fury that he could prop himself up on his rage like a crutch and find help?
Tiernan's relic would have been like a get-out-of-jail-free card. Just for one time, no matter where Boothill was, someone would find him. The Galaxy Rangers aren't sociable or organized between themselves, but they help their own. Someone would save him.
He chooses to give all of that up to help Dan Heng.
And I just cannot get over it, especially the wording of it, the pause before he speaks, the gentle way he tells him to hold onto his once-in-a-lifetime treasure...!! He wants Dan Heng to leave this to him! He wants him to keep this precious item that will help him save his companions again in the future! And maybe it's just...wishful thinking, me reading too much into it? But I mean. Just the way he says it...
I really do think it comes from a place of deep kinship and respect. That there's a lot of thought and feeling behind that statement. Something from one Pathstrider of The Hunt to another. Boothill fought for his home and his family, he fought really really hard! But. Sometimes that just doesn't matter. And now he's watching Dan Heng fight for his, too.
When he made that decision the first time, Dan Heng was in the parlor car of the Astral Express. He was completely removed from any danger. He could have chosen to get the hell out of Dodge and not look back. Obviously we know he would never even consider such a thing, but it was technically an option, and Boothill watched him decide to go back into the proverbial lion's den for his friends anyway. And I'm sure that was part of what sealed his decision, to later use Tiernan's relic instead of the Jade Abacus to summon enough people to disrupt Ena's Dream. Because he greatly values ideas like righteousness and justice and saving people, and Dan Heng so beautifully embodies all of that and then some.
Boothill doesn't have people to protect anymore, only ghosts to avenge.
And there is just something so endlessly endearing about him wanting to help Dan Heng, to make sure his friend doesn't go through that the way he did.

Dragons are possessive creatures and Dan Heng is no different. He’s protective of his friends and family, and especially his boyfriends. He knows they’re attractive and it’s obvious they would garner the attention of others but that doesn’t mean he has to like it. He makes it known that Jing Yuan and Blade are his, whether it be gifting them wearable trinkets, commissioning them jade amulets, or using his powers to cast protective spells. If they are in public with crowds, he’s unconsciously holding their hands or his tail is wrapped around their ankle. Most of the time, he doesn’t realize that he’s doing it but the dragon part of his brain screams “THEY ARE MINE. EVERYONE NEEDS TO KNOW THEY ARE MINE. IF PEOPLE DON’T KNOW THEY ARE MINE, THEY WILL TAKE THEM FROM ME. IF YOU TAKE THEM FROM ME, I WILL KILL YOU AND DESTROY EVERYTHING YOU LOVE.”
What Dan Heng didn’t expect was how protective he would be over Yanqing. When he started dating, Yanqing was always Jing Yuan’s kid. Jing Yuan took care of his education, health, training, etc. At some point in the relationship, Dan Heng started taking part in it too whether it be scouring the archives to help with a research project or picking up medicine for a cold. He also started casting protective spells on Yanqing as well and was always close by when the kid had a mission on the Luofu. Somewhere in his dragon-brain, it had come up with “Yanqing = tiny child. Tiny child lives in my home = My tiny child. MUST PROTECT MY CHILD AT ALL COST.”
This leads to Dan Heng spoiling him with whatever he wants, whether it be a sword from the market or a priceless sheath from a nearby planet, Dan Heng becomes increasingly doting, but he also becomes increasingly agitated when Yanqing is threatened or hurt. One time, Yanqing ended up with a broken arm after a mission, a result of an untimely fall off a floating platform. When word reached Dan Heng, he quickly returned from his travels with the Astral Express to check up on him. Where he spent a week by the kid’s bedside cutting up fruit for him and fetching him anything he needed.

The path of the Hunt seems a bit self-contradictive.
Yes, most of the Hunt characters are proactive, energetic, enthusiastic, and singleminded, but 'hunt' in the traditional sense implies murder. Whereas most of it's characters seem to be motivated by the sanctity of human life, to a certain extent, or the idea of protection at all costs. It's usually not obvious at first glance but becomes clear when you get to know them a bit better.
Seele, who seems unfriendly and gruff at first, whose singular concern is the safety of the Underworld
Yanqing, an arrogant and overconfident child who, without hesitation, challenges two ancient legendary warriors to protect the people of the Luofu.
Sushang, who is called 'naive' in her Character details, is already a Cloud Knight at 15, who spends her days helping others and protecting the people of the Luofu.
Dr. Ratio, whose underlying philosophy of "all lives are worth living" is hidden under his stern exterior.
Topaz, whose methods are absolutely messed up and horrible, but her sincere goal is to give the people of Jarilo-VI the best chances to survive, whether they want it or not.
Boothill, who pulls a gun at everybody he meets, seems genuinely offended when Aventurine accuses him of killing his bodyguards.

After March had pestered Dan Heng one too many times, he's finally had enough of her antics. In a surprising turn of events, March's oh-so-genius idea of using Stelle as a human shield unexpectedly worked...for now, at least.

After hearing March's constantly cheerful and goofy laughs during her dialogue and the very rare moments that Dan Heng chuckles, I genuinely need to hear how Stelle's laugh would sound ingame. March 7th had, once yet again, dug her own metaphorical grave even deeper than previously. She had been told off countless times by both Dan Heng, and Pom-Pom.
Well, mainly Dan Heng.
She would always constantly pester the archivist in his work, always determined to get the stoic man to learn her optimistic ways, himself. Despite this, he had always gotten onto her for the bothersome attempts; eventually resulting in the poor conductor having to start dragging her away.
It was always the same old "Don't bother passenger Dan Heng while he's working! Pom-Pom's told you already, you know better!" from the conductor, yet she wasn't planning to back down just yet.
Well she eventually did listen, though not for very long. It wasn't until Stelle had joined the express crew that an idea clicked into March's brain. A risky idea, at that. Knowing that Stelle wouldn't necessarily know any better about being outside of her room (or near someone like Himeko or Mr. Yang, for that matter actually) whenever she was acting out her schemes and antics, March grinned while the cogs and gears turned in her brain.
It was a very calm and peaceful afternoon on the Astral Express. Himeko was peacefully brewing her coffee, Welt was interacting with Pom-Pom (who was currently cleaning up), and Stelle had just woken up and was greeting the others as she had exited the party car, her room being on its second floor.
Meanwhile, March was in the hallway of the passenger cabin, completely bored out of her mind until she could almost immediately hear the frustrated and irritated groans coming from Dan Heng. Deciding to walk towards the door, and slightly peek in, she noticed him working on something in the data bank.
That's when March thought of a silly little idea to annoy the aloof train guard. Pom-Pom, having been walking by, noticed this and gave a glare towards March before they spoke up quietly.
“March, don't you dare. If you even bother passenger Dan Heng again, Pom-pom's not going to save you this time.”
But even still, March did not listen. It was to be expected at this point, though it was still pretty annoying for the crew at times. Just as the conductor strutted away into the parlor car, March began to strategize her plan. All she intended to do this time was just sneak up behind the archivist and startle him with a few taps to his shoulder and hide somewhere to snap a picture of his reaction.
That was what she *intended * to have happened. How it actually *went *, on the other hand..
March sneaking in and hiding was the easiest part of all, since Dan Heng happened to have a couple of empty boxes stacked up in the archives that he hadn't gotten rid of just yet. Therefore, she could hide behind those. Getting to start the second part of her plan, however, was a teensy bit more challenging. He seemed to be quite active in the archives today, so she had to wait out a while of him just walking around.
Thankfully, he stopped right in front of the data bank to work on it and update some things. Whether or not he was actually distracted didn't matter to her, March was just glad that this would work out all too smoothly for her.
..Or so she thought.
As soon as she knew the coast was clear, March set her camera up to immediately snap a couple of photos within a few seconds of initial delay. During that process, she had changed her mind of how she'd actually approach Dan Heng. She remembered how a few times of being asked, Dan Heng would always deny the possibility of him being ticklish and everybody always having gone along with it so as to not annoy him.
This didn't sit right with her, though. She had her mind set on his very reaction. After making sure that her camera was perfectly set up, She'd set the delay to about 11 seconds before pressing the button and slowly sneaking up on Dan Heng from behind. March's mistake, however, was not considering whether or not he was actually distracted enough.
Even still, she had “successfully” snuck up on him. As a result, she'd immediately poke and prod, as well as squeezing gently, at his sides before immediately hurrying back to behind the boxes after the photos were snapped. She was sure that he hadn't expected it and had to wait a bit before the photos were completely processed, yet she still “succeeded” in her plan.
Her second mistake was not actually checking Dan Heng's expressions as she went to hide once more.
After quietly and patiently waiting a few moments, her photos were eventually processed. March looked at the photos with vast excitement, only to look a bit shocked when she noticed how all the photos were of Dan Heng staring right at the camera intently, albeit with a slight smirk on his lips. Before she knew it, Dan Heng could be seen staring at her from the other side of the boxes with a dry chuckle escaping, despite himself.
“Seems you really thought this through, haven't you?” Dan Heng murmured in faux curiosity. “What a shame, you *almost* had me there. Don't think I'll let this act of your's slide, though.”
Just as he spoke, he began to try and approach her. Slightly panicky, though more playful than terrified, March bolted off without her camera. She was looking for a way to protect herself from the stoic guard, when she suddenly figured it out.
During all of this, Stelle had entered the hallway to go and ask Dan Heng about something, when she suddenly felt a tight hug from behind and gasped slightly in surprise. “Aah-! March?! What's going on- AHAhah-! Wahaihit! Dohon’t use me ahahas your humahan shield!”
Stelle could almost immediately tell that by Dan Heng jogging over and the light scribbling against her ribcage, March was trying to use her to get out of Dan Heng's retaliation. Though Dan Heng stopped in front of them to question it, this wasn't necessarily going to do any good for Stelle's defense.
“So now we're just resorting to using Stelle as the equivalent of whenever a criminal uses their hostage as a way to avoid my scolding, are we?” Dan Heng replied with yet another dry chuckle, though a bit more playful.
“Nuh uh! You'll have to get through Stelle first, Dan Heng! She's my accomplice, don't listen to her!
Despite the fact that he knew this would be exactly how March responded, Dan Heng would still be more merciful on Stelle since he knew that it was March's doing, alone. Yet, that still didn't stop him from having to quite literally get through Stelle first.
“Waihit! I- I nehever agreed to ahany of this! Plehease no! I have a fahamihily of nihine to feed! I-..! I have so muhuhuch to live fohohor!” Stelle, still giggling from March's light scribbles, was practically pleading for Dan Heng to spare her. Though she was being a bit dramatic and silly, it was pretty funny to see her giggling like this.
“Hmhm, your melodrama is actually pretty amusing to listen to. You almost managed to get a chuckle out of me there. I must say, you're quite the source of entertainment, Stelle.” Dan Heng murmured in amusement.
Approaching a little more, his fingers reached her ribcage and softly skittered around the sides. This sudden action left the poor trailblazer’s voice to pitch up slightly in octave from how ticklish the spot was for Stelle. She pleaded a bit, even twisting and turning a little to try and escape, though all attempts were in vain.
“NooOHhoo! DaAHAn HeeHEng! Waihihiit! Nahaohoott theheehe ribcaHAhaAaaage! P—PleheEAhease!”
March was practically beaming in excitement as her plan was working out so well for her. ..Almost *too* well, that is.
While she was set on waiting off Dan Heng’s efforts with this tactic of hers, the aloof guard was already two steps ahead of her. After a couple moments of Stelle practically crumbling under barely any effort from the tickling, he finally let up. While his first idea was to make sure Stelle had held up alright afterwards, he had a certain bubbly menace to deal with first.
“March,” Dan Heng started, his voice lowering slightly that could scare even Welt, himself, if used in certain circumstances. “Don’t think you're off the hook just because you dragged Stelle into this.”
Oh no.
March immediately took the signs and realized that what Pom-Pom had said earlier, mainly about not saving her from Dan Heng this time, really *was * genuine. She let out a few sheepish and nervous laughs before slowly backing up a bit and attempting to retreat to her own room. Dan Heng managed to grab onto her wrist though, trapping her in a hug from behind before slightly turning his line of vision to Stelle.
“You alright now? I’m assuming you needed something, so I'll get back to that once I deal with her.” Stelle nodded at his words, taking a few moments to catch her breath while she watched Dan Heng practically drag March back to her room.
Soon enough, high pitched squeals were audible from where Stelle had stood. While the trailblazer had eventually calmed down, she was still unsure how long it would take for Dan Heng to return; especially considering how much of a handful March could be sometimes.
She didn't necessarily pay any mind to it, however, and just waited inside of the archives. She picked out an interesting enough book, sitting down in the train guard's office chair for the time being to wait things out. Besides, it wouldn't be anytime soon that Dan Heng would be finished, after all, and Stelle wasn't impatient or busy today.

I love how Dan Heng is just constantly WORRIED about everyone else.
He literally tried to stay out of the Luofu story. But immediately jumped into action as soon as he realized Blade was there and the others were in danger.
And now he is Penacony too!
Funniest part was all the way back in 2.0, when the Trailblazer disappeared and everyone was freaking out on the group chat. And Dan Heng was just. SHOULD I LEAVE THE EXPRESS, WHAT IS HAPPENING!?!?
I can just picture Dan Heng in his Imbibitor Lunae form, Cloud-Piercer in one hand while the other holds the phone, a bag filled to the brim with medical supplies and plushies slung over his shoulder, just standing in front of the Express's exit door, waiting for an answer.
And that was before Traiblazer got traumatized by Firefly's death. And the whole Aventurine broadcast. No wonder he also called Jing Yuan.

If Blade and Dan Heng weren't at odds with each other and still in love, they might not be involved in the plot at all. They'd most likely be on an eternal honeymoon (and too busy taking advantage of Blade's immortality for nasty sex stuff probably), which is bad because the plot needs them in order to happen according to Elio

The battlefield stretched before you, a blur of smoke and chaos. You had acted on instinct—throwing yourself in front of Dan Heng to block a strike meant for him. The blade tore through your side, pain radiating through your body as you stumbled.
“[Name]!” Dan Heng’s voice, usually so calm and composed, cracked as he caught you in his arms. His eyes widened, a rare display of emotion breaking through his stoic mask.
You gave him a weak smile, your hand clutching the bleeding wound. “You’re safe. That’s all that matters.”
His jaw tightened, and his grip on you was firm yet trembling. “You should never have done that.” There was an edge to his voice, sharp and laden with guilt.
You tried to speak, but the pain was overwhelming. Darkness crept at the edges of your vision, and you felt yourself fading.
“Stay with me,” Dan Heng ordered, his voice softer now but no less desperate. He cradled you closer, his usually steady hands pressing against your wound to stem the bleeding. “You can’t leave me. Not like this.”
He carried you swiftly to a safe spot behind the ruins, shielding you from the chaos. His spear, Cloud-Piercer, stood guard nearby, its sharp tip still dripping with the blood of your enemies. Dan Heng tore a strip of fabric from his coat, fashioning a makeshift bandage to stop the bleeding.
“Why?” he asked quietly, his gaze fixed on your pale face. “Why would you put yourself in harm’s way for me?”
You managed a weak chuckle despite the pain. “Because I care about you, Dan Heng. Even if you keep pushing people away, I won’t stop protecting you.”
His breath hitched, and for a moment, his usual reserve cracked. “I don’t deserve it. Not after everything I’ve done… everything I’ve failed to prevent.”
“You’re wrong,” you whispered, your hand reaching up to brush against his cheek. “You’re worth it to me.”
Dan Heng’s eyes softened, guilt and sorrow mingling with something deeper—something he had tried so hard to suppress. He didn’t speak, but his actions spoke volumes. He leaned into your touch, his fingers brushing your hair as if trying to commit every detail of you to memory.
“I won’t let anything happen to you,” he promised, his voice low but resolute. “Not again.”
Dan Heng stayed by your side, his spear within reach, ready to defend you from any further threat. The battle raged on around you, but his focus never wavered. He wasn’t just protecting you now—he was protecting the fragile hope you had given him, the chance for something beyond the weight of his past.
And in his quiet way, Dan Heng vowed to repay the trust you had shown him, no matter the cost.
Tumblr media
The echoes of the gunfire still reverberated in the empty corridors, a cruel reminder of the chaos that had just unfolded. Aventurine stood frozen for a moment, the world around him slowing to a crawl. The usually confident smirk plastered on his face had vanished, replaced by a rare expression of raw, unfiltered fear.
You lay crumpled on the ground, your blood pooling beneath you. You had thrown yourself in front of him, a human shield against the sniper's bullet that had been meant for his chest.
“Why?” Aventurine whispered, his voice trembling as he knelt beside you, his gloved hands hesitating before pressing against your wound. His pristine, gold-adorned sleeves soaked in crimson as he tried to stem the bleeding. "You absolute fool. What were you thinking?"
Your eyes fluttered open, a weak smile playing on your lips despite the pain. "Because I knew you'd never let yourself be hit," you murmured, your voice barely above a whisper. "You're too important... too smart to take risks like that."
Aventurine let out a bitter laugh, one that sounded more like a sob. "And yet here you are, bleeding out because of me," he muttered, his tone laced with guilt and frustration. "You're supposed to stay out of the crossfire, not throw yourself into it like some kind of martyr."
The mask he wore so effortlessly in high-stakes games and political negotiations shattered in that moment. He was no longer the composed strategist, the man who always had a plan. He was just Kakavasha—terrified, helpless, and desperate to keep you alive.
“Stay with me,” he commanded, his voice shaking as he pulled out his communicator and barked orders for immediate medical assistance. “You don’t get to leave like this. Not here, not now.”
Your hand weakly reached up, brushing against his cheek. "I trust you, Aventurine," you whispered, your voice faltering. "You'll fix this... you always do."
His eyes shimmered with unshed tears as he pressed his forehead against yours. "I’m a gambler, not a miracle worker," he admitted softly, his usual bravado nowhere to be found. "But if there’s one thing I never bet against... it’s you."
The minutes felt like hours as he stayed by your side, murmuring reassurances that neither of you believed. His mind raced, calculating odds and outcomes, but none of his usual strategies could guarantee your survival. For the first time in years, Aventurine felt powerless.
When the medics finally arrived, he refused to leave your side, riding with you to the emergency unit despite their protests. As the doors closed behind them and the sterile lights flickered above, Aventurine made a silent vow.
No matter the cost, he would ensure you lived to see another gamble, another day by his side. Because without you, even victory would feel like defeat.
Tumblr media
The clash of blades and the sound of explosions filled the air, but Sunday’s focus was solely on you. The two of you had been ambushed, and though he had held his ground, one stray attacker had slipped through his defenses, aiming for his unprotected flank.
You hadn’t hesitated. You’d stepped in without thinking, intercepting the blow meant for him. Now, you lay slumped against a ruined wall, clutching your side as blood seeped through your fingers.
“Why... why would you do that?” Sunday asked, his voice trembling as he knelt beside you. His eyes, usually so calm and composed, were wide with panic. He pressed his hands over yours, trying to stop the bleeding. The glow of his halo seemed dimmer, as if it mirrored the dread coursing through him.
“You needed protecting,” you gasped, a weak smile crossing your lips. “That’s what friends do, right?”
“Foolish,” Sunday whispered, his tone a mixture of frustration and anguish. "I am the one who should be protecting you." He gently brushed a strand of hair from your face, his gloved hands trembling. “You shouldn’t have to suffer because of me.”
Your hand reached for his, squeezing weakly. "You’re worth it."
Sunday’s breath hitched, and for a moment, his dignified mask crumbled. "No one is worth losing you," he admitted, his voice barely audible. “Not even me.”
The world around the two of you seemed to fade away as Sunday focused solely on keeping you conscious. He whispered soft reassurances, his usually formal tone replaced with a raw, desperate plea. “Stay with me,” he urged. “I’ll fix this. I swear it.”
Using his limited healing abilities, Sunday poured his energy into stabilizing you. The effort left him visibly drained, his face pale and his breaths labored, but he refused to stop. "I’ve seen too much suffering," he murmured, more to himself than to you. "I won’t allow it to claim you."
As reinforcements arrived and medical aid was administered, Sunday stood by your side, his presence a steady anchor amidst the chaos. When you were finally safe, he let out a shaky breath, brushing his thumb across your knuckles.
"You risked yourself for me," he said quietly, his eyes softening. “But know this: I will never allow you to come to harm again. You are too precious to lose.”
In that moment, you saw a side of Sunday he rarely revealed—a man burdened by the weight of his ideals, yet willing to fight against them for the sake of someone he cherished.

#narus' corner#SO LET'S TALK ABOUT HOW EVERYONE HATED XIANZHOU BECAUSE EVERYONE AND THEIR MOTHERS AND ANCESTORS HAD PULLED UP THEORY AFTER THEORY#AND WHEN SAID THEORY DID NOT FCKING GO ALONG WITH WHAT THE ACTUAL WRITERS HAD IN STORE HELL BROKE LOOSE#ion think u understand#maybe im biased. i probably am but the way hoyoverse tackled immortality with xianzhou is quite bittersweet honestly#YA'LL WANTED UR DOOMED YAOI AND YURI AND TBH ME TOO BUT THEY ARE STILL FCKING DOOMED EVEN IF SOME THEORIES DID NOT GO AS MOST SHIPPERS WANT#THEY STILL DOOMED MILADYS AND GENTS AND NONBINARY PEEPS DAN HENG IS SUFFERING FROM PTSD AS WE SPEAK.#u look at xianzhou and see predecessors suffering the consequences of what their ancestors wanted because of immortality and vow to stop it#because they been fighting people against GALAXIES who wants a taste of that immortality who also don't KNOW THE CONSEQUENCES OF IT WHICH I#LITERALLY GETTING MARA-STRUCK WHENEVER UR MEMORIES OVERLOAD FROM LIVING TOO LONG AND GO: damn this was shit writing cause i didn't understa#IMMA AAAH#eternal wars where when u find peace after winning you DON'T BECAUSE YOU TURN MARA-STRUCK FROM THE AMOUNT OF TRAUMA U HAVE#when immorality isn't immortality in a sense u can't be killed but long lifespan but then u can't even live said long lifespan#because u get mara-struck from participating in wars to protect AND YA'LL COME OVER HERE AND SAY BAD WRITING?!#and don't come with what the fuck is phantylia doing#ion think u understand how fucked we would've been if phantylia managed to actually absorb that ambrosial arbor AS A GODDAMN EMANATOR#OF DESTRUCTION OF ALL THINGS?! YA'LL WANT INFINITE HEALING WHILE GETTING BLASED OR SMTH!?!#and the aftermath which was probs the most hated on#imma just.#imma shut up LMFAO
