He stops at the foot of the bed, slips the clean duvet cover over his softest quilt and drapes it over the bed. He doesn���t bother tucking the corners under the mattress— when his heat comes he’ll trash all his hard work anyway. He gathers up his favourite blankets and pillows, as well as a couple of Max’s worn shirts that he’d snuck from the laundry hamper, and dumps them on the bed.
