Looking Glass (2018)

Well, here we go. The first CAGE review for the new site (see the archive, which I will keep updating as I go along here), and fittingly (fittingly?) it's perhaps the most instantly forgettable movie I've watched yet.

That's not to say it's the worst, but it easily ranks among the most bland and unnecessary.

I kind of hate how disjointed this series has become. I did the first 35 or so in the same video-heavy plot recap style before briefly transitioning to a YouTube thing, but I lost steam with both.

So the thing about a movie like Looking Glass — about how Cage and wife Robin Tunney buy a motel from a creep who has inserted a two-way mirror / secret viewing passageway in one of the rooms — is that I have nearly nothing to say about it.

So I won't!

Visions of Atlantis & ILLUMISHADE Live @ Legend Club, Milan

Okay, his has gotta be my favourite concert in a loooong time. 😃

The venue was pretty small, and that make the event so cool, I don't even know where to start. The opening act by Seriana Telli was very interesting, although not exactly my thing. However, next it was time for my new obsession - Illumishade. They absolutely killed it (at one point I was wondering if Fabienne Erni needed air at all, her vocal acrobatics were incredible), such a great band!

^ So when they announced that Fabienne and Mirjam would be meeting fans at the merch table, you know I was going (fun fact: I somehow got somewhat of a hold of my anxiety and together with my friend invited them to come to Bulgaria, to which Mirjam replied that she'd love to, she has been there before and really liked the local cuisine, good to know! 😁).

Finally, Visions of Atlantis took the stage and showed that they knew how to put up a great show. I honestly didn't expect so many "props" on stage - the guitarist was even drinking water from a tankard-looking mug. All in all, it was an awesome pirate party!

I've decided to move Cosimo and Ernie out... they're a great help with the babies, but having a ton of Sims on one lot is proving to be pretty overwhelming!
