My ramblings here:

I'll talk about Hunter first because it's the shorter one. A lot of the terms that were used back when Hunter was alive to talk about disability are now considered offensive, including some that were used in medical diagnoses. Some of these words were already insulting to begin with, but others became slurs as people started using them as insults. And being a good person who was raised in an environment that was progressive for her time doesn't mean she's automatically going to know that now that she's come back. So yeah, she fucks up.

About Robbie. He doesn't like her, he's had a bad day, he's already stressed and she just straight up insulted Gabe. And something that @robbiereyesangr114 pointed out is that Eli probably has already used every existing slur to talk about Gabe so yeah. She stepped in a big landmine I don't think it's our of character for him to blow up.

Something that's stablished is that Robbie is used to defending Gabe. I mean, his first reaction when he finds out Guero and his friends bullying Gabe is not panicking or trying to talk them down, but throwing a punch even if that means that he gets beaten down because they outnumber him. So yeah, it's not the first time.

I personally think that this also means that he has probably been punished a lot for doing protecting gabe, because unfortunately, something that happens quite often is that the people who face the bullies end up facing more repercusions than the bullies themselves. I don't think he's going to react well in the moment to being told to calm down or someone justifying what just happened, even if it comes from someone he usually trusts.

So huh yeah. I think that's it.

The team dynamic of the MCU Midnight Sons is going to be crazy, considering that we have:

1) The stoic, blunt but well-meaning Doctor Strange

2) The Moon Knight team, consisting of tortured soul Marc, wide-eyed nerd Steven, and ruthless hitman Jake

3) Jack “I just want to keep my family alive and eat sushi while trying not to kill people in my werewolf form” Russell

4) Man “Ted” Thing, the lovable swamp monster who keeps getting into trouble

5) The presumably badass, lone wolf hunter Blade

6) And, since we’re bringing back the characters from the old Marvel shows, the other tortured soul who works for the Devil, Robbie Reyes

7) Also, if Marvel goes with the latest line-up, they can bring in Frank Castle, who is arguably the most murder-prone member of the group.

8) Almost forgot. Nico Minoru, the emo/goth teenage witch from “Runaways”.

Just…imagine all these characters trying to work together as a team. I can just smell the dysfunction from a mile away.

About fighting styles: The Rider is a powerhouse but most of his experience up to this point comes from fighting criminals, which is kind of like shooting mosquitoes with a bazooka. The Hunter is trained and experienced, and since there was another Ghost Rider in the original Midnight Suns it wouldn't be crazy to imagine that they sparred together at some point, so she knows what to expect from him... mostly. She knows how to control the flow of the battle and, since you do not take a single decision in the whole game, I like to think that her leader status comes from the fact that she is the one who calls the shots in the missions, so I like to headcanon her as a fairly good strategist. The moment she sees her chance she takes it, and in case it wasn't clear enough, she times her punch so it will hit the exact moment he is about to spit the fire.

Even if Robbie is used to just overpower his rivals, he isn't dumb either, so he uses the car as a last surprise attack that she is absolutely not expecting in the slightest before he reverts to his human form, because I think that probably swallowing hellfire is not a very healthy or pleasant thing to do.

At the end of the day, after the fight, he is mostly like "blegh my mouth tastes like brimstone now" because he is very sturdy, but she has some very minor injuries. The car hit was not a direct blow because she managed to mostly avoid it and the shield did absorbe some of the damage.

To sum up, in terms of raw power Robbie is stronger at this point (even if the Hunter is stated in the game to be stupidly overpowered, I still think that Robbie is even more powerful at this stage), but the Hunter has more experience and is a better strategist overall so she can keep up with him toe to toe. This is what I wanted to show, but I'm not sure if I succeeded because it's the first time I try to draw people fighting and IT'S VERY HARD.
