I get why people headcanon that Trucy would call Edgeworth "Uncle Miles" because it represents how close he is to Nick and Trucy and how he's basically part of the family etc. HOWEVER I cannot help but imagine the shock and horror of passersby who hear Trucy call one man "uncle" and one "daddy" as they watch Nick and Miles interact lovingly in public and come to the conclusion that Nick is openly cheating on his spouse with his spouse's brother.
#they're like “oh my god and he has a daughter... this affair must be tearing the family apart has he no shame”#I do in general like the idea of kids calling your friends uncle or aunt. Very it takes a village to raise a child#it's often a cultural thing to call everyone aunt and uncle too which i do in my family!#I just don't love it when the dad and friend-uncle are ambiguous lovers!!! But this is a lighthearted complaint. I jest#i don't think people would think they were brothers thank god but that would be equally unfortunate if not more so#I personally enjoy a Mr. Miles/ Miss Trucy dynamic where Miles is formal with her but kind of as a joke#and FOR HIM that is intimate and close bc usually he uses people's last names (he calls maya miss fey)#I don't think Edgeworth could ever be anything but Miles to Trucy idk#Not in a bad way! I just think like.... he's not her dad in the same way... he would be very stiff and awkward but care for her deeply#like i don't think he would ever be a very cuddly huggy kind of paternal figure for her.#he would do that dad thing where he's like oh you mentioned you like this candy I will by you a huge case of it#he would be like i heard you like magic so i watched a documentary on it so we can discuss it intellectually#He would stay up late to help her with her math homework#ace attorney#trucy wright#phoenix wright#miles edgeworth#dadnix#dadworth#narumitsu#i am a queerplatonic narumitsu truther but I am willing to let them be romantically in love when it's funny

I love writing merlin and arthur as less *servant and king* and more *two best friends who do a lot of favors for eachother* just because I feel like after spending 10 YEARS with the same guy every day, the formalities would just kinda slowly fall away and now their just two doofuses who show their love in opposite ways so it balances out

Kinda 😾 rn cause I realized the Senna show made the "can we be equal? 👉👈" scene SOOOO much less intimate/cute. Upon watching it, I was too distracted by "Oh! They're referencing dialog that actually happened!!" but now I'm peeved having rewatched the actual clip 😭
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Why would they do this to me specifically
#skflka sorry i love to nitpick#i guess this kinda thing is fascinating to me#why change the setting and layout so much???? if you're going to portray dialog we have actual footage of#to me theres just smth so palpably different about them sitting pretty intimately close together on a couch#in much more informal zipped down racesuits. very chill. very close. etc. much more levity(if a bit awkward lol)#vs having them in this very formal setting. sitting in separate chairs. in full racesuit. team and press surrounding them.#having ayrton sit so much more stiff and alain more lax whereas they were both lax in the original. ayrton even more so w his arm draped#i guess im curious how little things like this contribute to the overall portrayal and narrative they are specifically pushing#id include clips to compare bcs i feel like the way they have them speak the lines is sooooo different from irl#but clipping netflix is so annoying LOL maybe later#smth about how they make ayrton feel like this innocent puppy whereas they feel like they're on very equal footing in the irl clip#idk how to describe it. i guess i felt in the original clip alain felt way more cutesy and earnest#joking abt fighting and being equal. and ayrton laughs w him and is much more the intense one yknow#whereas he is portrayed very earnestly in the netflix one. as if alain is this older driver who doesnt take him seriously.#hope this makes sense :) yes i am the annoying fan who holds up a microscope to everything slkjal#anyways. i love that clip. alain is sooooo cute in it#prosenna#catie.rambling.txt#f1

Wild how we know that Elizabeth Woodville was officially appointed to royal councils in her own right during her husband’s reign and fortified the Tower of London in preparation of a siege while 8-months pregnant and had forces gathering at Westminster “in the queen’s name” in 1483 – only for NONE of these things to be even included, let alone explored, in the vast majority of scholarship and historical novels involving her.
#lol I don't remember writing this - I found it when I was searching for something else in my drafts. But it's 100% true so I had to post it.#elizabeth woodville#my post#Imo this is mainly because Elizabeth's negative historiography has always involved both vilification and diminishment in equal measure.#and because her brand of vilification (femme fatale; intriguer) suggests more indirect/“feminine” than legitimate/forceful types of power#It's still bizarre though-you'd think these would be some of the most famous & defining aspects of Elizabeth's life. But apparently not#I guess she only matters when it comes to marrying Edward and Promoting Her Family and scheming against Richard#There is very lacking interest in her beyond those things even in her traditionally negative depictions#And most of her “reassessments” tend to do diminish her so badly she's rendered utterly irrelevant and almost pathetic by the end of it#Even when some of these things *are* mentioned they're never truly emphasized as they should be.#See: her formal appointment in royal councils. It was highly unconventional + entirely unprecedented for queens in the 14th & 15th century#You'd think this would be incredibly important and highlighted when analyzing late medieval queenship in England but apparently not#Historians are more willing to straight-up INVENT positions & roles for so many other late medieval queens/king's mothers that didn't exist#(not getting into this right now it's too long...)#But somehow acknowledging and discussing Elizabeth's ACTUAL formally appointed role is too much for them I guess#She's either subsumed into the general vilification of her family (never mind that they were known as 'the queen's kin' to actual#contemporaries; they were defined by HER not the other way around) or she's rendered utterly insignificant by historians. Often both.#But at the end of the day her individual role and identity often overlooked or downplayed in both scenarios#and ofc I've said this before but - there has literally never been a proper reassessment of Elizabeth's role in 1483-85 TILL DATE#despite the fact that it's such a sensational and well-known time period in medieval England#This isn't even a Wars of the Roses thing. Both Margaret of Anjou and Margaret Beaufort have had multiple different reassessments#of their roles and positions during their respective crises/upheavals by now;#There is simply a distinct lack of interest in reassessing Elizabeth in a similar way and I think this needs to be acknowledged.#Speaking of which - there's also a persistent habit of analyzing her through the context of Margaret of Anjou or Elizabeth of York#(either as a parallel or a foil) rather than as a historical figure in HER OWN RIGHT#that's also too long to get into I just wanted to point it out because I hate it and I think it's utterly senseless#I've so much to say about how all of this affects her portrayal in historical fiction as well but that's going into a whole other tangent#ofc there are other things but these in particular *really* frustrate me#just felt like ranting a bit in the tags because these are all things that I want to individually discuss someday with proper posts...

I always found that sweet how a lot of the time in TLG Med would jump to reassure Khadgar or even apologize after snapping at him
And yet in some ways the cruelest thing Medivh said to Khadgar in my opinion was correcting him when he called Karazhan “Our Tower.” And reminding him he was there at his whim and he could send him away at any time.
And he never did apologize for that one and honestly I don’t really blame Med for that per se? It is his tower and Khadgar can’t tell him who is allowed there. What I mean is going by JUST the power dynamic they have as mentor-apprentice, Khadgar is absolutely out of line there
In some ways could have come off quite spoiled and entitled but the thing is I don’t think that was the case at all.
He’s become so comfortable in Karazhan he’d started thinking of it as his home. Then Medivh has in one conversation reminded him it very much was not his home and he could send him away at anytime if he so wished it
He’d finally found someone who cared about him, respected him and treated him as a person. He found a place where he felt he belonged for once in his life and…
No wonder he was so jealous of Garona for a while after that. He’d been reminded that all of it could be taken from him at any moment and here was someone stealing his Master’s attention.
Just thinking about how that jealousy so obviously comes with feeling like he’s not enough and insecurity about his place in Med’s life.
Just very interesting how I think it could very well have went over Med’s head as not that big of a deal too? One of those things he’d be like huh oh yeah I said that? Meanwhile Khadgar is spiraling about it
He could of also been absolutely aware of how harsh it was because Medivh does lash out like that on occasion (especially towards the end of the book as Sargeras gets harder and harder to fight) he can be a little shit we know this
(Don’t really blame him for that given being possessed by the demon lord Sargeras is probably just a teensy bit tiring /s)
Also seen valid and honestly very possibly canon interpretations where he’s also trying to push Khadgar away cuz he knows what’s coming and what Khadgar is going to have to do.
The more attached to him he is the more difficult it will be for Khadgar to do what needs to be done.
What better way to push someone away then hit them right where it hurts?
And yet even then I think those words hurt Khadgar deeper than he’ll ever know :(
#wow blogging#angst angst baby#something something power dynamics and Med inadvertently enforcing it there when he also ironically often tries to make their relationship#there’s some interesting scenes where Med does reinforce it because well they ARE mentor and apprentice#but also how he also seems to want it to be more than a formal/professional relationship and tries to encourage that#I think that’s one of the reasons he corrects Khadgar for calling him Master or sir or whatever#less formal and more equal#jokes about Khadgar totally having a kink aside#(I could talk forever about how I think Khadgar calling him Master is actually really sweet and I think it comes from a different place#than Med thinks it does)#how the title is actually very meaningful to Khadgar I think#and in some ways it shows the same level of affection that Medivh calling him Young Trust does#I don’t think Med realizes that though and he’s just like hey chill you don’t gotta call me that#and Khadgar just instinctually keeps doing it (even DECADES later it Outland he refers to him as his Master)#there’s something to be said I suppose for how it could be pure habit from growing up in the environment he did#but I like to think it’s..deeper then that#(he also does totally have a kink for it but that’s besides the point here)#(don’t get me started on how most of my headcanon kinks for him to stem from his issues with self worth and fear of abandonment)#love playing with power dynamics okay#they are so interesting#how do you balance it all#lines slowly blurring in the mentor apprentice relationship as it becomes more than that#because they do very much care for another obviously#no matter how you interpret their relationship#absolutely rife with angst potential honestly#….#no i shan’t say#raventrust

i always see so much of Nico ships where either Nico is the one pining or the focus is almost completely on Nico pining and i feel like we’re missing a lot of opportunity here. Where’s the inverse? Where’s the POVs from [other character(s) of ship] of them falling hard for Nico and just absolutely losing their mind pining over him because he’s so impossible to read that they can’t tell at all if he likes them back or not. Them doing some complicated social dance cause they cannot for the LIFE of them figure out Nico but they’re trying so hard until they finally just tell him outright and find out Nico has liked them back this entire time and they lose their mind just a little bit more. WHERE IS IT.
#pjo#riordanverse#nico di angelo#shipping#examples: one of my favorite headcanons is that Will got a crush on Nico the first time he saw him during the Titan War#when he brought reinforcements n stuff. cause yknow. the dude showed up in thematic armor with three gods and parted an army#and then ensues like a whole year of poor Will helplessly pining over him but a.) Nico is never around and b.) Nico is barely aware of him#ergo why Will is acting Like That in BoO cause he's BEEN TRYING SO HARD TO GET NICO TO NOTICE HIM#on-and-off for a WHOLE YEAR#and he is DETERMINED to at least be Nico's friend by the end of the summer#just so that he can stop losing his mind over it#secondary example: i write a lot of pre-HoO Jason stuff and i really love the potential dynamics between him and Nico then#with Nico being this rogue who randomly shows up#and Jason keeps getting flustered by this guy who doesn't seem to care who he is at all. which is part of the reason for getting flustered#cause Nico keeps treating him as an equal! which is kind of a big deal for Jason#and at the same time they're doing this diplomatic dance and the two of them are just being SO overly formal#because they're both like that. so it just sounds like theyre flirting like Victorians#and poor Jason is so distressed post-HoO when he realizes he'd forgotten all of that. and now he has to START OVER#and Nico is NICO so of course it's impossible for Jason to gauge exactly where they stand#etc etc those are my two most detailed examples

I think when it comes to political allies, she only really goes with the formalities in the public eye with them. In private, she prefers her allies to treat her as their equal. Don't call her Queen Lilith, don't use honorifics on her, don't bow your head. She will lift your head every time and tell you gently but sternly, "Not here."

Domestic Diplomacy II is turning out to be even more "splickedy gratuitously gets caught in the weeds of xenosociology and alien language barriers, the fic sequel" and tbh I'm not mad about it
--
“Oh, your moirail!” says Jade, and bounces upright, ignoring John’s wary little soft human cautionary hiss. To your vague surprise, she’s apparently learned enough not to do the human holding-out-a-hand gesture they usually do when they’re introduced; she clasps her hands in front of her, nonexistent claws politely folded in, and ducks her head briefly forward and to one side, careful not to jab at him with her nonexistent horns.
It's a pretty passable greeting—for a social equal, which is its own bizarre issue, considering he’s a highblood. But relatively non-offensive, for a human, and fortunately for her she’s picked a highblood who isn’t likely to give a shit. Gamzee laughs out loud and gives his own lazy-ass version of a greeting back, a vague twist of his wrists and dip of his head, condescending to use an equal’s greeting back at her. When he says “Gamzee Makara,” there’s a hint of a threatening buzz to it, a testing you should know to respect me warning—you could have told him she’d show absolutely no sign of hearing it, which is exactly what happens.
“I’m Jade Harley! I meet you,” Jade says, a carefully neutral statement-of-fact greeting—not fawning or hostile. You don’t know if humans are out here just learning neutral address no matter what, or if this human particularly just doesn’t give a shit that your moirail’s a fuck-off mutant-huge highblood with horns that scrape the ceiling of the block—by the expectant way she looks up at Gamzee afterward, she wouldn’t give much of a shit either way. Out of all of the humans, Jade Harley might actually win the prize for giving the least shits, no matter what Rose and Dave like to pretend.
“Yeah, I meet you too, motherfucker,” says Gamzee, looking incredibly amused, and glances down at you. “She’s a rude-ass little motherfuckin’ toothful, huh? I like her.”
“Of course you do,” you say, pained. “Don’t take it personally, alright? You’re not a highblood here, they don’t get highbloods.”
“Oh, best friend,” says Gamzee, and kisses your nugbone again, embarrassingly. “I’m a highblood wherever the fuck I go. It’s cool though. Squishy-ass little motherfuckers won’t get any grief from me.”
“<Motherfucker>,” Jade repeats behind you, and switches back to English, in the bright, wide verbal tone you’re starting to learn means ‘smiling and happy’, weird interstitial ‘vowel’ breath-sounds further back in the throat through pulled-back mouth-corners. “Hmm, <motherfucker>… Oh, neat! Is that dialect? It sounds like, ahh, what’s that other word. Kk—kkkht— Uh, dammit. You guys need to learn how to use vowels— It sounds like <;brother>.”
“It is like,” you say, surprised despite yourself. “<Brother> is a troll, and <motherfucker> you put it all spots you want. It’s a thing, it’s a troll, it’s a, tss, a doing-things word, it’s a name. It’s bad, it’s good. Any spot you want. And he does want, for all those, all the time.”

Dex Heller is a sad, sad creature.
I've talked at length about how underwritten he is and how little the writers care about one half of a couple they supposedly really, really like. I've also talked about all the wasted potential he has and how he's a glorified Benson prop. But this one's gonna be different because after watching Friday's scenes, I find something quite...nasty in what Dex has become.
So, according to Dex, his two elder brothers beat him up constantly and hospitalized him more than once. His parents were bystanders throughout all of it. And with his parents specifically, with his philandering father and "cowardly" mother, he had a shitty image of love presented to him. While it would be logical for him to think that 1) betrayal and hurt equates to love, and 2) no one will save him - he needs to save himself because of his upbringing, he's actualized that his childhood was, indeed, shitty. So one would think he'd make sure not to emulate a single second of that (AKA one would think he got help/therapy and healed as well as he could).
Friday's scenes...they were rancid. It made feel a bit ill.
Like Dex, I grew up in a terrible household. My upbringing was all about survival, specifically from an emotional standpoint, and I'm still reeling from it to this day. It's affected my mental well-being (duh), my relationships with people, everything important like that. And with those desperation scenes, of having Dex willing to martyr himself so openly so to not cause further pain, I understand it just a tiny bit and I'll give EH a kudo or two for an attempt to display that desperation.
But here's the thing - what Dex claims he can't without is the thing that hurt him all those years ago.
Josslyn was never good to Dex. She belittled him and his thoughts/feelings, stalked him, talked down to him, guilted him, played on his fears of getting caught to keep him attached to her, went behind his back and disrespected his wishes, literally almost killed him, and has as much pleasantry as nails on a chalkboard. Dex is an abuse victim stuck in another abusive cycle, and this show treats it as romantic foreplay. This couple never got actual development. They got a plethora of sex scenes, which is fine if they were meant to be fuckbuddies, but not fine if they're meant to be a real love story. They need actual development beyond sex and that never happened. The "I love yous" and the arguments about needing each other to live are flat and empty because there's no grounded support.
Hearing Dex say that no one loves him like Joss does, that he can't lose her and she makes his life worth living...it just hurts my soul.
I hear that and think about how abused he was, how the only difference between that and how she treats him is the physical violence (or lack thereof). I think about how she harassed him when he didn't want the PCPD involved after the meat hook. I think about her giving him an infection when she didn't back off and adamantly refusing to get him proper help until the last second. I think about her trying to get him fired from his job with Sonny and how she barked at his disapproval, on top of how quickly he forgave her when he was right to be mad. I think about how she disregarded his feelings on working for Sonny and how sick he felt when Sonny got arrested, and expressing contempt for that to his face. It's all these things and more that make the case that she doesn't love Dex as a person. She loves what he can do for her benefit.
We kind of get what Joss sees in Dex, but we don't get what Dex sees in Joss. Her treatment of him is poor, and she hasn't made any concerted effort to genuinely get to know him outside of plot-forced moments (not to mention how she doesn't care/like it anyway). One could argue he sees the same thing Joss sees (sex), and if that's the case, then there is something fairly wicked and depraved for a man closer to thirty to want a barely legal girl like that. I'd know - I was that girl at one point in time. That doesn't make him a romantic lead, it makes him someone who needs to be monitored.
Any which way you slice this, it's not good. You have a Dex who is a bit of a creep (to be nice) and/or a Dex who loves a version of the abuse he claims to despise. This character has been so underwritten, so regressed as a functional player and it's a miracle he's lasted so long. Like I said in a completely separate rant, I've come to resent what Dex Heller has become, and that hasn't changed. If anything, I also feel disgusted by what these writers have done to him, and the end of their scripts can't come soon enough.

"[Elizabeth Woodville] was the only member of [Crown Prince Edward of Westminster's] original 1471 council not already on the king’s council and her name headed the list of those appointed as administrators in Wales during Edward’s minority. [She remained on the council after it was expanded in 1473 and granted additional governing and judicial powers]."
"In 1478 Prince Richard married the Mowbray heiress. Like his elder brother he had a chancellor, seal, household and council to manage his estates. His council, like that of Prince Edward, comprised the queen [Elizabeth Woodville] and a group of magnates and bishops, few of whom were Woodville supporters. [...] It was Elizabeth who mattered, for Richard resided with her and Rivers treated his affairs as their own."
— J.L. Laynesmith, The Last Medieval Queens: English Queenship 1445-1503 / Michael Hicks, Richard III and his Rivals: Magnates and their Motives in the Wars of the Roses
#good👏🏻 for 👏🏻 her#historicwomendaily#elizabeth woodville#15th century#english history#princes in the tower#my post#Reminder that these sort of additional official positions in governance were very unusual (unprecedented) for late medieval English queens#Elizabeth's formal appointment in royal councils (+ authority over her sons) should not be ignored or downplayed in the slightest bit#It should instead be considered one of the most defining aspects of her queenship that spanned over a decade and lasted right till the end#& should also be highlighted as one of the most vital topics of discussion when it comes to broader queenly power in late medieval England#I think it also says a lot about Elizabeth's relationship to Edward IV and the regard he seems to have had for her capabilities#'The only member of the original 1471 council not already on the king’s council' that speaks VOLUMES. Once again: good for her.#It's also really frustrating how some historians (Katherine J. Lewis; AJ Pollard; Laynesmith etc) have incredibly lopsided perspectives on#Elizabeth that fundamentally *do not work* when you remember these actual facts and what they reveal about her power and influence#I'm also still baffled at Lynda Pidgeon's claim that 'Elizabeth's influence with Edward IV was less than with family members who were#part of the king's council or that of her son Edward prince of Wales'. Like???????#First of all - we *already know* that Elizabeth had the most personal influence with Edward and was the one he trusted the most#The case in 1480 & his own will in 1475 (where he referred to her as the one 'in whom we most singularly place our trust') make both clear#Second of all - ELIZABETH WAS LITERALLY ON HER SONS' COUNCILS HERSELF. HER NAME HEADED THE GODDAMN LIST. How have you missed this????????#It's actually bizarre because it completely ignores the fact that 1) Late medieval queens *weren't* generally given positions like this?#If we accept Pidgeon's (false) interpretation we have to claim that NONE of them were influential at all#Which I'm pretty sure nobody agrees with? So why have I seen people agreeing with Pidgeon's FALSE take on Elizabeth based on that lmfao?#2) Elizabeth WAS in fact given such positions. She genuinely was given unusual authority and was an Exception™ rather than the rule#Forget emphasizing her atypical role - Pidgeon has outright erased it in an effort to diminish her#She does the same thing when talking about Elizabeth's role after Edward IV's death and it's equally ridiculous and incorrect#There's stupidity and then there's willful misreading & rewriting of history according to your own imagination. This fits the latter

i FINALLY finished my tactician run with shri’iia and saw the epilogue ‼️ for this run she was full Oathbreaker paladin.. I would’ve multi-classes to fighter but I wanted this to be a rp run which is kind of a bad choice for my first tactician playthrough but we didn’t need action surge by the end when we’re doing like 90 dmg smites lmfao.
anyway. THE EPILOGUE !! it was sooo cute 😭 kind of reminds me of a way shorter citadel dlc but it was def more satisfying than the previous ending.
these are my favourite dialogues though and it’s such a satisfying ending to Shri’iia’s character arc -
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Shri’iia starting out as a paladin of Lolth (who worshipped her to the point of zealotry) gets forsaken by said goddess, her Oath - which is an extension of her persons and soul atp - gets broken - goes through a crisis of faith and identity, like she devoted her entire life to the spider queen how could she be abandoned so easily?, decides to pursue this strange freedom she’s been left with or else she will really have nothing, learns what that strange freedom means - she’s not bound to any tenets or dogma and every choice is hers to make for better or for worse. there is no outside approval or validation to seek, and every consequences are hers alone … accepts that newfound freedom and vows to never be bound by anything again - and if there are others who are bound against their will she will help them be free but only if they make that decision first. she will not make a decision for anyone’s path just as she won’t be following anyone’s will without question. she’s forging her own path ! going her own direction ! now she spends the rest of the journey learning more about the world because there is so much to it than what the spider queen tells you, and learning that there is more to life than living with fear and paranoia, and there is more to herself than she would’ve known and her worth is more than what she can offer to a fickle goddess who will abandon her when the mood strikes.
Like it’s SO satisfying to me watching how her character turns from someone who is so needlessly mean and cruel to someone who’s relatively decent by the end. I still think that she has a mean streak about her, and sometimes she can be kind of deranged lmfao but there is purpose and principle behind every decision she makes. Like these dialogues describes her to a T tbh like Shri’iia is not nice but she can be kind -
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And before all this, Menzoberranzan was the only home she ever known. Lolth is the only thing she’s ever known. Leaving it all behind was a decision she didn’t make lightly because where else would she go when the world that you’ve known has thrown you away? And will probably hunt you down and kill you if you ever go back to it… and this new world that you’ve been thrown into is unpredictable, you don’t have that certainty or security that comes with following what is expected, but nevertheless she moves forward… she spends those days exploring this strange new world with her strange new freedom. She’s grown accustomed to the vastness of the sky, she falls in love with the stars in the night since they remind her of the glowing faerie fire in the city of spiders. She learns what home means for her, and she eventually makes it for herself bc no one can take it away if it’s hers !! She learns to love someone without the fear of betrayal and more importantly she learns to trust them !!! this line makes me saur 😭😭 because it’s like the TWO biggest fucking liars of the group who will most likely betray everyone if the need rises fall for each other then learns how to trust and eventually sees home in each other -
Tumblr media
like they both used the other for their own gain (shri’iia to distract from the fact that her oath is broken since she’s still in denial/astarion bc he wanted to manipulate her for protection) what they failed to take in account is that they’re both clowns lmfao and not used to sincerity so when the affections actually started to become genuine and sincere, and the casual fucking turns into not so casual, and you start to overthink the smallest gestures you weren’t even paying attention to before they’re like 🧍‍♀️🤡🤡 ‼️ cue act 2 confession scene. then they start actually falling in love….. and learning what being in love means for them…. then they both learn how they want to be loved and how to live freely … making a home in each other … what started out as a fleeting fancy turning into something more genuine and sturdy- something they would’ve never thought of having before.
this is so long but I’m so happy with her journey she is so asos jaime writing in the white book [ he could write whatever he chose, henceforth. whatever he chose… ] coded to ME ‼️‼️‼️🫶🫶
#I loooove shri’iia so much she is my baby girl my wifey my everything#like quite literally I am her right hand arm man her confidant her silly rabbit does she call me that? no ☺️#I love her so much .. and doing a full oathbreaker run was so satisfying too bc a lot of dialogues fits with how I wanted her story to be#I also saved minthara this playthrough now I want to keep her I love the dynamic she has with shri’iia ..#like they’re both lolth paladins / oath of vengeance but minthara started out already on the top of their food chain#meanwhile shri’iia was on the bottom trying to reach the top … then the script flips and suddenly minty is following HER -#the common girl who lived in Eastmyr - who signed her autonomy away to taste a fraction of the power minthara had since birth#but instead of pursuing vengeance shri’iia decides to turn into a new path whereas minthara continued to follow it#now she’s bringing vengeance down in the underdark and recruiting drow rebels for her cause meanwhile shri’iia stayed in the surface to#learn more about the world .. like I think if she hadn’t abandoned her cause she would’ve def joined in the fuck lolth brigade#but now she’s like fuck lolth BUT I just saved the world and im looking for a cure for my vampire bf so im gonna go cash in some favours 🤭😋#I like it when they talk to each other too … just imagine how strange it is for them bc their society’s hierarchy is so ingrained in their#system that I think they will def slip back into old habits from time to time like minty treating her as some common person instead of an#equal ally loool .. and I think shri’iia will def catch herself using formalities around minty but she’d be like ? that’s not how it is#anymore … anyway long post sorry LOL I love my girl 🤭#I want to do yves playthrough next but how can I move on sigh …#shut up about bg3.
