I haven't bought PoP yet but I am listening to the first 6 free chapters on JelloApocalypse's YouTube. Despite being aware of Rick Shades's secret lore, I couldn't imagine even half of Rick Shades's insane patheticness and pathetic insanity in the first chapter.

Also, I understand why Feenie is called "Dumb Bell Daughter" now. I love her already.

new epithet erased/anime campaign oc based on the epithet "consumption!!" info on them under the cut <3

Mori Terabye (they/he) is an Epithet user whose Epithet is "Consumption." They've been somewhat sickly since they were a child, but it's gotten worse for them over time. They had their Epiphany after learning that they could create mysterious voids that "consume" objects - the realization that they'd been coughing up blood all their life help them mentally connect consuming things and "The Consumption", also known as Tuberculosis.

He doesn't have TB, technically; it's a weird Epithet magic situation. His Epithet happens to affect the inside of his body in a way that presents itself like the notorious infection. When making his little voids, he also has the ability to "eat" them before they disappear entirely. It helps him feel significantly better, but he doesn't exactly know how that works. Epithet magic is weird, man.

They enjoy fencing and do it on the professional level. Their lithe body makes it easy to dodge the swipes and slashes typical of swordfights, even if they do need a minute to catch their breath after a match.

so that's it!! my little guy!!!! i started making a character sheet for them but i don't have anyone that i know could gm a session of anime campaign so i have to refrain from finishing it. i don't know how to properly balance a ttrpg moveset :(

i gotta get more people into epithet tbh. ive been assigning them to some of my friends and im super attached to this idea of a campaign with my besties but its kinda unachievable without a gm </3

Kicks down the door. Epithet erased monster au lore

Monsters and humans live in different worlds. But there are weak spots, and they can overlap. If you’re in the wrong place at the wrong time, you could slip to the other side. This is how Molly got there.

Monsters are usually stuck in their world, keyword being usually. The weaker spirits have more freedom, and while they’re ultimately tethered to the spirit world, they can pass through to the other world and back easily. Stronger spirits are trapped.

The monsters are people who died unsatisfied. This unsatisfaction stays into the afterlife, and they lose their memories and a part of their soul to it. They want to make themselves whole, to find that missing part of themself.

Monsters try to fill that missing part by feeding off human souls. They can’t remember who they used to be or that they even used to be living people, so they don’t actively know or want to go back to it. It’s more instinctive than a conscious desire. Like “hunger”, kinda.

Her name is Bael.

Fred sorta has a rocky relationship with her to start with.

His parents adopted her when he was around 7.

She was around 4 at the time.

(3 years apart)

Around this point of time, he was quite a troublemaker, with his own parents being in the criminal business.

Plus, she has a epithet, which to him, is quite already controversial within his mind, hence he avoids her. (Her epithet is Realm.

He already knew that the sweet jazz city county had two choices in the past before his parents adopted her,

to give bael to his family(which they already did but yet haven’t done in the past.)

Or

Give Bael to Percy. (Which in hindsight, wouldn’t change Bael’s personality and bael would still be a complete asshole to Fred, either choice)

To describe him and Bael they’re the sky and the Sea. (the sky can be unpredictable but the unpredictability can be predicted. The sea is unpredictable therefore cannot be predicated)

To describe their parents, they are the sun and the moon.

Often she will go to lorelai for Roleplaying sessions, which slightly angers Fred, that’s the sister of his colleague (Aka molly) and is the person that is at fault for Giovanni’s disappearance along with Molly’s (from his Viewpoint.)

She is a captain of a banzai blaster gang within the banzai blasters group, which further complicates his relationship.

She acts like lorelai and martin, times by 100, around her family members, but acts like Giovanni around her friends which further more complicates their relationship.

Fred’s nickname for Beal is Belle or Weatherboy.

Beal’s nickname for Fred is. Car Bitch

In a nutshell.

Beal’s a bitch to Fred.

They’re like Molly and lorelai but more unstable and are ready to explode in their parents’ face as their parents slowly regret their life decisions.

Saw Something, Done Something.

So one day, us writers of this blog came across this blog title:

And I was struck with inspiration for a storyline using this as the prompt. Essentially, Epithet Erased's beloved protagonist somehow becomes President of the United Mexican States (formal name of Mexico)

Within hour 1, several ground ideas were put in place:

The world of Epithet Erased must be somehow connected to a version of our world with 'Molly-favourable conditions'. This is explained with Taiga Country (the country where Epithet Erased mainly takes place in) somehow creating a portal system; with informal/civilian-to-civilian information transfer permitted between both sides.

Mexico falls in love with Molly. Basically Everyone* + Mexico Adopts Molly. Even the cartels spread Molly-related propaganda for their own PR aims.

Molly wins the 2024 Mexican Elections. Who will be Molly's political party? Well the EAM family (credits to @epitheterasedgen for the original concept) will support her! Her victory was not supposed to be possible anyways, but the people put enough write-in votes to make history.

Within 3 hours, despite having to focus on studies, I came up with this:

A full web of potential outcomes of the Electoral Crisis Molly triggers (I mean, most countries I know do not legally allow its head of state to be an underaged foreign citizen who has never step foot in the country). Plus the political aspects. There is even a civil war option with its own web of outcomes and factions. All of this have up to hours worth of thought put into it.

WHAT IS HER EPITHET? SOUNDS COOL, AND DOES IT HAVE ANY MAJOR DRAWBACKS?

(Apologies in advance for how long it takes for me to answer these, creative block is a bitch, tysm for asking abt her though, I can't even express how excited I am to have someone who isn't me or my partner like an oc of mine) Her epithet is soothe, but I'm still working out the details of her major powerset, but I can give you some of her powers and the drawbacks her epithet has (these are subject to tweaks and changes however, and if you have any suggestions I'd love to hear em) :]

She has the ability to heal and soothe the pain from wounds if she can touch it (think the ability lay on hands from d&d). Visually, when she does this, a lavender colored aura surrounds her hands. When someone touches the aura, it emits a sensation close to that of menthol. Drawback to this is that her hands will sometimes go numb with the same menthol-like numbness, but this time hiked up to an uncomfortable degree(kinda like when your arm falls asleep but on steroids). This doesn't happen often, but the more she uses her epithet, the more likely the chance of it happening. It can last from anywhere between a few seconds and a few minutes, and she just kinda has to wait it out. Heat helps the numbness fade faster, so she carries around those snap to heat packs in her pockets just in case.

She has another aura, but this one calms rather than heals. The aura itself is less opaque and more shimmery than its healing counterpart. Still affects the likelihood of the numbness, tho. (This aura is less like lay on hands and more like sanctuary, which is also a dnd ability or Molly's silence bubble). She can shape it and adjust how far it reaches (within limits of about 10 feet). Within the aura, it's been described as feeling like the weight of the world has been taken off your shoulders, even just for a moment. Dalia wouldn't know though, all her powers only work on others.

She also has exactly one summon. It's glowing moth things (that may or may not be inspired by the visuals for Here Comes A Thought from Steven Universe) she can summon a maximum 10 at a time, and they're pretty average size for a moth. When they make contact with someone who's not Dalia, they poof into the same calming aura that she can make, just on a way smaller scale. There's two problems that come with them, though. One, she can't unsummon them once they're summoned, she has to wait for them to poof on their own. And two, sometimes when she's nervous or stressed, they just kinda appear. She's not consciously summoning them, but they are her newest power, so she has trouble controlling them and making sure she doesn't summon them on accident.

I'll probably go more in-depth about it later, but that's the basic run-down of it. (Also, sorry for any typos or logical inconsistencies, I blame it on the fact that a lot of the writing for this was done at ungodly hours of the night lmao)
