I'm having two very different fictotype kinsidering moments but I kinda find it funny how different they are

On one hand after having my partner slowly introduce the series to me I'm 99% sure I'm Chiaki from Danganronpa 2?? I absolutely recognize some folks aren't very fond of the series for reasons I can understand but man there's a lot of correct bells ringing rn!

On the other one, I'm fairly certain I'm someone from Epic: The Musical! I couldn't tell you who exactly, all I know is I'm pretty sure I'm not Ithaca royalty. There's definitely a few ideas floating around but they're all similar in some form so it's gonna take a good minute figuring that out

Basically, my brain likes claiming fictotypes lately and we stay absolutely silly out here

Hello and welcome!

I am Odysseus from mostly the Iliad/Odyssey (and various other mythological sources not including the Telegony), but also certain aspects of EPIC: The Musical. After months of lurking around the fictionkin side of this website and considering if I should make a blog for this, I finally did it lmao.

!! This is not an rp blog !! I am fictionkin, and actually am Odysseus (or at least an Odysseus; greetings to all the other Odysseus(es? Odyssei?) who reads this!). Just to clarify beforehand :]

My pronouns are he/they. I am a minor.

Canon call for Circe from Epic: The Musical

Appearance wise in the timeline I am specifically asking about I am closest to Gigi's interpretation. (but I do have another timeline that is closest to AnniFlamma's interpretation if that means anything to anyone) But the main thing that is important is that at some point after the events of source wraps up I ended up meeting Odysseus and Penelope in Ithaca and the three of us sort of ended up falling in love and forming a polycule. It wasn't a decision we took lightly and there were a lot of one-on-one conversations with each of us and group conversations before we realized that we a. all had feelings for each other and b. wanted to explore that. The only thing I am unsure about is why I ended up in Ithaca in the first place (my nymphs were there too) so idk if anyone remembers this bonus points if you can give some insight onto that that would be great.

1. For a while? I'm not sure exactly how long. Around 3 or so months?

2. I was always, always comparing myself to Penelope- 'Wow, we're so similar! She's just like me!' And then my partner started doing it, too. And my friends. I sort of had a realization like 'Damn, me and Penelope are so simila- ohhhhh, she's me'

3. I remember Odysseus doing dumb stunts with his bow to impress me before we got engaged to try and win me over. (Hint- it worked.)

6. I looked very similar to Gigi's representation of Penelope. Same voice, etc.

7. Different from Canon- mostly things that aren't expressly stated in Canon. There's other smaller things as well.

8. Gigi's representation of Penelope is most accurate to me :). I had very dark brown hair, brown eyes, tall, the likes.

9. Anything Ancient Greek, tbh. I don't know the 'correct' term, but those ancient greek dresses?? Those things.

10. Songs from the actual musical ofc. Bones on The Beach by Paris Paloma reminds me of my time spent in my chambers hiding from the suitors and weaving

I love Toothless so much as a disabled dragon. Literally some of the coolest dragon rep in any media ever and he's canonically disabled from almost the first moment we see him on screen. And he's a badass. And it's part of him (they don't ignore it! It's a big deal if his prosthetics aren't working properly!) and it just makes him cooler. 🪲- I do miss my home (a lot). It sort-of helps that it's *technically* a place I can visit irl? It won't be the same, but eh.

🥀- ONLY if it's my husband!!! 😡😡😡 I would NEVER have chosen another, hence why I spent YEARS weaving only to unravel it again. So I could buy my Ody some time, bc I would NOT marry anyone else.

🦕- Yes, I had loved ones! My son and my husband mainly come to mind, but before the war Polites and Eurylochus were good family friends (It sucks what happened to them 😔) and Ctimene was there for me quite a bit until her mother died. She sort of faded out after that, but I don't blame her.
