Do you have any Faramir and Eowyn headcanons? 🙏:).
Oooh boy do I have headcanons!!!
Right, pre-war, I headcanon Theodred and Boromir having an unofficial agreement to marry Eowyn and Faramir to each other. Both of them want to re-ignite the alliance between Gondor and Rohan. Boromir wants to see his little brother happily wed, and Theodred wants to see Eowyn away from Grima, for her own sake and to circumvent any plans Grima has for her. Theodred and Boromir’s mutual affection also makes them want to unite their houses in some way.
Theodred nearly manages to get Eowyn to Minas Tirith. Eowyn dislikes nursing, but does have an interest in certain aspects of healing, such as herblore and surgery (it’s tending to the emotional needs of the patient she does not, nor ever will, care for), and as it becomes clear that her uncle will not let her join an Eored, she agrees to Theodred’s suggestion that she come to Minas Tirith to study to be a healer. She will do so under a fake name, for safety’s sake, which is especially exciting for her.
She thinks it will be an adventure, a chance to live in the “big city”, with other young people, without the restraints of royalty keeping her in check. It will also mean she will have a role and a purpose once Theodred has married and she is supplanted as Lady of Meduseld.
Theoden grudgingly agrees to it, but just as Eowyn is making plans to depart, Grima convinces Theoden that it will be foolish to send Eowyn into Gondor’s hands, as it will just mean giving them a hostage. He also exacerbates Theoden’s illness, forcing Eowyn to stay back and nurse him.
Had Eowyn gone to Minas Tirith, Boromir and Theodred’s plan would have been for Eowyn to meet Faramir there, and arrange a courtship between them.
I headcanon Eowyn, Faramir and Merry being quite a trio during their stay at the Houses of Healing, and that Faramir and Merry into Eowyn’s bedroom at night, with food and cards and Merry’s pipe, and they hide under the bed when the healers do their rounds. Merry and Faramir have an unspoken alliance to make Eowyn smile and give her things to laugh about.
The Fellowship is delighted about Faramir and Eowny’s engagement. Gandalf has known Faramir and Eowyn since childhood, and is therefore delighted at them finding happiness in each other, so soon after despair nearly destroyed them. Aragorn is glad that Eowyn has found happiness, and having older brotherly feelings for her, is genuinely pleased to welcome her to his court. He ends up taking a hand in her healing studies, and teaches her himself. The two grow very close in a teacher & pupil way. Meanwhile, Arwen and Faramir grow very close, Arwen indulging Faramir in his love of history and learning. They also share a love of poetry and music.
The rest of the Fellowship is delighted that Boromir’s younger brother (whom Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli take an older brotherly interest in, in place of Boromir) has found happiness. Legolas and Faramir become very close, while Gimli becomes very fond of Eowyn. Sam and Frodo know the pair the least, but they respect Faramir very much after he let them go with the Ring, and Frodo recognises in Eowyn some of his own depression, which Eowyn recognises in turn. They spend very little time together, but there’s an unspoken understanding between the two, as to what it is like to deal with mental health difficulties. Frodo (and Sam by extension) also appreciate Eowyn being the one to kill the Witch King. Frodo’s injuries from the Witch King actually ache a little less in Eowyn’s presence.
Merry and Pippin most of all are naturally thrilled, and on his arrival to the Field of Cormallen, Merry updates Pippin about Eowyn and Faramir’s courtship, and the two are on tenterhooks waiting for an update between the pair.
Eomer is less pleased when he finds out Eowyn is engaged. She is the last member of his family, and last time he saw her, she was suicidal and charging into battle, looking for death, whilst also nursing a broken heart. Aside from a desire to keep her close by, he (understandably) fears that Eowyn is entering into this marriage for the wrong reason.
He actually refuses Eowyn’s request to officially announce their betrothal, although he doesn’t forbid them from entering into a personal agreement. He just doesn’t want Eowyn to change her mind, and find herself stuck in an engagement that it is politically awkward to get out of.
Eomer finally makes the engagement official with the troth plighting at the funeral, which is a surprise for Eowyn, his way of showing his regards for her.
Faramir stays a while in Rohan, where his love for Eowyn only grows as he sees what a capable ruler and leader she is. He decides that a large part of Ithilien’s governance will be in Eowyn’s hands, as he will have much preoccupied with the Stewardship of Gondor. When they marry, he invests Eowyn with official powers, so that she can rule Ithilien with her own authority, not just his.
Faramir, Eomer and Eowyn grow very close as a trio during Faramir’s stay, and Eomer ends up missing them both greatly when they go.
While Eowyn’s day to day business is that of healer, she still trains with her sword and assists Faramir in clearing out orcs and guarding Ithilien. However, when she wishes to accompany Faramir and Aragorn to the razing of Minas Morgul, she is denied, on the grounds that it could be potentially diplomatically catastrophic if Eowyn came to serious harm under Aragorn’s orders.
The Razing of Minas Morgul starts off terribly, with the soldiers much terrorised by the evils that lurk there. Eowyn hears about the sufferings of the troops, the low morale and the work that never seems to progress, when some soldiers are sent to Emyn Arnen with requests for supplies. Eowyn dresses as a man once more and sneaks along with the supplies.
Rumours start spreading about her presence, and the morale instantly lifts, partially due to the presence of the Witch King Slayer having an impact on the lingering magic, but also because Eowyn’s story itself gives heart to the soldiers, which allows them to share their renewed hope with other soldiers, which spreads throughout the army.
Faramir hears the rumours before Aragorn, but stays quiet about them. In the end, Aragorn has to summon Eowyn, as the rumours are too wide spread for him to turn a blind eye to. He has to pretend to disapprove, while being secretly pleased. Faramir is just pleased.

I would absolutely love to hear literally any random thought you have about Eomer or Boromir.
Hee! What a wonderful Ask! But oh my goodness, this is a little tricky because just thinking of either of those two kind of torches what few brain cells I have left because they're just so... you know. ;)
I do have timeline notes for these two wonderful Men because I'm finally starting my multi-chapter fics for them. However, I don't want to spoil anything, so lemme check what headcanon is spoiler free....
Quick Headcanon: EOMER
Eomer's military career can be summarized as follows:
Ages 12-15 - Served as squire to King Theoden
Age 16 - Accepted as Rider in the Eored of his cousin, Theodred
Age 20 - Given command of his own Eored
Age 26 - Becomes the Third Marshal of the Mark
Eomer is a prodigious soldier, often deemed the greatest Rohirrim since the days of Eorl himself. This is the result of natural (almost supernatural) talents and a fierce dedication to his country. He envisioned himself as serving as a soldier his whole life and never had any political aspirations.

Quick Headcanon: BOROMIR
Book canon states that Boromir had little interest in taking a wife because he was too preoccupied with learning the ways of warfare so he could protect his beloved City. This certainly was true when he was younger, because settling down wasn't a priority in his mind.
But I also headcanon that young Boromir was a "good soldier" a.k.a. good at taking orders. This was part of why Denethor loved him so much; he didn't deviate from "The Plan". Basically The Plan was to inherit the Stewardship and rule Gondor after his father. Oh, and he was going to marry and have kids and continue the prestigious bloodline.
Denethor assigns his sister-in-law, Ivriniel, to find a good match for his son for whenever the right time came.
Good Soldier Boromir says, mindlessly: "Yeah, okay, sure. Whatever, Auntie." He was ready to do as he was told and just let them pick his "perfect" wife for him.
But then he did the unthinkable and fell in love. With a commoner. A commoner with a far-less-than-ideal background.
That's not THE PLAN, Boromir! You're not supposed to have opinions!
And you can bet Lady Ivriniel is gonna make a damn good impression of Lady Catherine de Bourgh when she finds out and it's gonna make for some Austen-ian drama.
(All this coming in the Boromir fic I have in the works.)

Tagging just a few fans who might be interested: @scyllas-revenge @ass-deep-in-demons @hippodameia @hobbitwrangler @konartiste @emmanuellececchi @thetempleofthemasaigoddess @heilith @absentmindeduniverse and I'm sure I've missed people but like I said my brain cells are probably fried from thinking about these two. Do you have any Autistic!Rook headcanons you would like to share??
AS IT HAPPENS. I HAVE SEVERAL. BECAUSE THIS AS A CONCEPT DELIGHTED ME WHILE READING. HERE WE GO:
(I would like to note that i am NOT reading this as a catch-all ‘fair folk in general are autistic’ bc a)- I don’t think they all do, Rook is specific and unique in this regard, and b)- I dislike the idea of just ‘all these inhuman characters are autistic’ bc icky associations with autistics then being inhuman...which we are not)
ODD DISCLAIMER OVER. ONWARDS AND UPWARDS.
Rook + Cat Metaphors:
This sounds like an odd place to start but it was legit my favourite thing. Cats are fairly often associated with autistic people, as it happens, and are a generally more accepted symbol for it than...Other unspeakable things. Not getting into that, though, there were two things that made me die with delight...Which I will now explain:
And yet looking at Rook Iimagined a cat proudly bringing its master dead chipmunks, only to watch thetwo-legged oaf lift these priceless gifts by the tail and fling them unceremoniously into thebushes.
Cats, like autistic people, generally have their actions/behaviours misunderstood. What they see as giving affection tends to be met with a reaction contrary to what they were expecting. See: above.
Through it all Rook wore anexpression of aloof perplexity, as a cat might watching its favorite furnitureget moved about without its permission.
This one was The Best. Cats, like autistic people, typically have big problems with change, and can actually become genuinely stressed out/ill with changes in their household being made, such as moving the furniture around. Rook just being ???? ‘why are we doing this’ was too much.
Then he strode right overand, in one smooth motion, insinuated himself into the bed next to me, facingme, under the covers, with the bold and unselfconscious vanity of a cat sittingdown on an open book.
I can’t explain exactly why this strikes me as being connected to an autistic thing but it just...It just does. and it’s another cat metaphor I deeply enjoy.
Right, self-indulgent enjoyment of cat metaphors out the way, here are many more things:
Difficulty Identifying Emotions/Trouble with Social Cues:
“How can this be,” he said to himself quietly. That wasall it took; I gave a strangled sob. He crouched and scrutinized my face, whichI’m sure at that moment looked anything but attractive. “What do you require?”
Rook being baffled by the human notion of having to cook things is one thing, but the way he scrutinises her is more telling for me. Isobel gets caught up in thinking that she probably doesn’t look too attractive at this moment in time, but I’m pretty sure Rook is just trying to...Figure out wtf she’s feeling/how he should respond to this. And his response is deeply pragmatic. He doesn’t respond to her emotional needs/reactions, purely her practical ones. (There are a LOT of examples of this, I won’t go through them all)
As an aside here, this is where I think Rook differs from other fair folk, and what tips him onto the spectrum. He isn’t human, so it’s reasonable to assume that human emotions are something he struggles with. But the thing is that the other fair folk who have experience with humans are much better at this than he is. The entire plot revolves around Gadfly knowing Isobel well enough to predict how she’ll respond to his promptings, so he can manipulate her into doing what he wants.
Lark is also a good example of this. Before meeting Isobel, she had no contact with humans whatsoever. However, in a relatively very short space of time/very limited experience, she’s able to understand Isobel’s reactions/ways of displaying emotion and translate them to recognise other situations they should be used in. (She witnesses Isobel crying, understands it’s a display of sadness/upset, and correctly mimics it during her apology, because she understands that’s an instance where that emotion should/can be correctly applied)
So the fair folk quite obviously have the capacity for recognising and understanding human emotions, as well as understanding how to respond to them. Rook, however, has definitely had contact with humans before, and has had enough of it to enable him to fall in love with another human before Isobel, but remains utterly hopeless at identifying her emotions.
He drew in a breath. “I know it’s—wrong, that I care so much aboutthe pin. I can’t explain it. It’s—”
“It isn’t wrong.” My voice was so soft I barely heard myselfspeak. “Rook, it isn’t. It’s just human.”
This I’m saying is an example of Rook not being able to identify his own emotions (alexithmya) which is fairly common among autistic people. (Isobel’s response would be a tiny bit grating if Rook was canon!autistic, but given that he’s not, and given how ‘human emotion’ gets lumped together in this book, I’m dealing with it.)
I whirled around. “Your blood did this.”
Rook stood watchingme, a conflicting clamor of emotions in his eyes: fascination observing myhuman response. Hope that I would find what he had created beautiful. Andbeneath that, sorrow, as raw as an open wound.
Desperation flashed across his features. He struggled to composehimself, but couldn’t. Finally he turned on his heel and put his back to mewith a dramatic billow of his coattails, drew his sword a few inches, and pretended toinspect the blade.
The way that he ‘observes’ her response, as though learning (which he likely is) consciously how to interpret her...But also the fact he has no idea how to process/regulate/respond to HIS OWN emotions, and that he retreats to something familiar to avoid looking at Isobel, and also to calm himself down.
“You could offer to sleep on the floor, like a gentleman.”
He appeared horrified by the suggestion.
I love this bit, bc for all the fair folk are very much concerned with politeness and proper behaviour, this one is just...Totally lost on him. Like excuse u why would I offer to sleep on the floor Isobel??? The floor is hard and uncomfortable? How does this prove I am a gentleman? How is this polite??? Isobel I think this is impolite, that you would suggest I sleep on the floor. Do you not like me Isobel??? Do you not want me to be here?? Isobel??????
“And I’m not certain you’re in any state to protect me,” I wenton, sensing a lost cause. “Just now you were almost assassinated by a teapot.”
“Isobel.” Rook looked at me gravely. “Isobel, listen. The teapotis of no consequence. I can defeat anyone, at any time.”
“Oh, is that so? That’s the truth?”
“Yes,” he replied.
I love the teapot line, you love the teapot line, we all love the teapot line. But I just...love the way that he talks. The pattern of it strikes me as an autistic thing. Just the way that he talks. And the very simple answer that he gives ‘yes’ it’s just a kneejerk thing, he doesn’t even think about it. (I know fair folk have to tell the truth, but that doesn’t mean that they have to answer questions like this)
Especially when this one is definitely rhetorical. Because she knows full well that he’s speaking the truth, because he can’t lie. But this is another missed social cues thing: Isobel asks a question, Rook answers it.
“Have you ever stopped to think that just because you can do something doesn’t mean you should?”
His eyes narrowed. “No,” he said.
 Same thing here.
Comfort Objects/Stimming:
He patted at his chest in alarm and then ducked to hunt throughthe wildflowers. This wasn’t the leisurely search of someone who’d lost apocket watch or a handkerchief. Rather, heclawed at the ground with a wide-eyed desperation that could be inspired onlyby the loss of a priceless and irreplaceable treasure. When he found it, hegripped it tightly in his hand. He moved his thumb to the hidden clasp. Butthen he stopped himself, remembering I was there, and started to put it in hispocket instead.
My heart hurt for him. It was painful to watch Rook reduced to this over something so small. He cared moreabout that pin than most people cared about everything they owned in the world.
I know the raven pin has sentimental significance because it was a goodbye present from his lost love, but this just reminds me of the panicked search for a lost comfort object, something which a lot of autistic people have. (Especially with the way his thumb moves towards the clasp even after his found it, which could definitely be a stim, because it’s clearly a habit he uses to soothe himself)
Speaking of stimming...
His hand had wandered to myhair, and he spread it out on the moss, combingthrough the strands with his fingers until it gleamed as straight and smooth asit could get. It seemed impossible that someone who had lived for hundreds of years and hunted fairybeasts for sport could find this entertaining, but his expression wastransfixed.
That’s definitely what this is.
“What a lovely bird,” Irepeated in a syrupy voice. “Yes, you’re the loveliest bird.” I stroked hisback. He made a pleased muttering sound in his breast. Soon his smug silenceindicated that he was quite content to remain as he was, so long as I continuedmy praise.
and this tbh.
Literal Thinking:
“Rook,” I said, trying to keep my voice steady, “before I get up,you have to promise to never touch me again without my permission.”
“I can touch whomever I please.”
“Have you ever stopped to think that just because you can do something doesn’t mean you should?”
His eyes narrowed. “No,” he said.
“Well, this is one of those things.” I saw he didn’t understand.“Among humans it’s considered polite,” I added firmly.
A muscle jumped in his cheek, and his smile had faded. “Well, thatdoesn’t sound in the least reasonable. What if you were being attacked, and Ihad to touch you to save your life, but I couldn’t because I needed to requestyour permission first? Lettingyou die wouldn’t be polite.”
“Fine. You can touch me in that case, but every other time youneed to ask.”
I really love this bit. She knows he doesn’t get what she’s saying, so she rephrases it somewhat to something that he will understand. But I love his response even more. He understands what she’s saying, but he still doesn’t quite GET it. And his brain goes immediately, (and often), to practical thoughts.
She puts this rule in place, and he immediately starts...Not looking for loopholes, but considering the practical problems that it might pose. What if they’re in danger and he has to save her life? She would never have considered this as being unreasonable, because she would expect him to adapt, and realise that is a situation when it’s acceptable to touch her, because of the risk it poses. But he needs her to accept that as a limitation, and see his way of thinking. And they reach this...Little compromise that weaves through the rest of the story. Which I like a lot.
Before I could find my voice and ask him to set me down, hedropped me like a hot coal. I landed inthe wildflowers with an undignified whump. Horrified, I squashed my legs together, hunchedinward with my arms clamped over my chest, and stared up at him. He looked asaghast as I did.
“Why did you just—” I began, at the same moment he blurted out:
“You stopped being in peril, and I couldn’t touch you any longer! Are you all right?”
This harks back to their earlier promise, and poses some potential problems in the literal thinking category because there’s fair folk no lying/keeping promises magic wrapped up in it. But I think it’s still an expression of the way Rook’s mind works. I’m fairly sure other fair folk would have been able to work around their promise by telling themselves Isobel was still in enough danger to merit them touching her (still being naked and vulnerable in the spring court) but Rook is just....Too literal for that.
“A fire, to start with. Some . . . some branches tomake a spit out of, I suppose. Or maybe we could cut it up and skewer it? I’venever cooked a rabbit outdoors before.” I might as well have started reciting an incantation. “Wood,” Irevised for him. “Some kindling about this size”—I spread my hands—“and a long, thin, sturdy stick with a pointy end.”
“Very well.” He rose. “I will bring you your sticks.”
This isn’t strictly literal thinking but goddammit I love the ‘I will bring you your sticks’ line. But it also is. Isobel reels off her instructions and he just gets up and off he goes to get her what she needs. No muss, no fuss
. It’s also an example of rigid thinking. Isobel gives him a set of clear, precise instructions, and he follows them to the letter. (And I can get this in with APD, and the struggle to follow verbal lists, given his confusion of her initial explanation of what she needs. Once she gives clear, concise instructions, which she also pairs with a visual demonstration of what she wants, he understands and obeys)
He halted just as he was about to disappear, shoulders stiff.“Will that be all?”
A devilish part of me wondered how far I could push him. If Ipretended it was necessary for my Craft, could I command him to stand on hishead or turn in a circle threetimes while he prepared the hare? Only my empty stomach’s increasingly urgentdemands prevented me from having some fun at his expense. “For now,” I replied.
She probably could have done tbh. Not to say Rook, or autistic people, are incapable of critical thought but it’s more...A combination of literal thinking, and the struggle with reading people’s intentions. Isobel knows about this thing, and he does not, he has no reason to assume she would lie about what she needs, and without any knowledge of the required steps involved in cooking, and also without the inclination to suspect Isobel of having any intentions that aren’t purely practical/are in any way malicious, he’d probably be inclined to do whatever she asked, see: ‘I will bring you your sticks’.
Organisation/Piling:
However, as I crunched afterhim through the brambles, which disintegrated at a touch, my eyes fell on theneat pile of twigs and leaves he had taken from my hair—and despite myself Ismiled.
I love this little detail, too. Because not only did he pick the twigs and leaves out of her hair, but he further felt the need to pile them up neatly instead of just dumping them on the ground as twigs and leaves tend to be. This one is a little stereotypical but it’s also not false (and is a thing i know I would unconsciously do as well, so you know...)
Difficulty With Empathy/Responding to Emotional Upheval:
Grief smashed through my final defenses like a battering ram. Igave a strangled sob, so tired I couldn’t tell if my scratchy, aching eyes owedthemselves more to exhaustion or tears.
Rook sank onto the end of thesettee. He hesitated, then peeled his coat off and laid it over me. It was warmand smelled of him. Overwhelmed by his gentleness, I began weeping again inearnest. He drew back in alarm, clearly thinking he’d made things worse.
“Er,” he said. He patted the nearest part of me he could reach, which was my foot. “I apologize for . . . that. If you wouldstop crying now,” he added, a trifle desperately, with a note of princely command.
This was the part that officially finished me. He knows Isobel is upset, and that he should do something to help/wants to help, but isn’t quite sure what to do. He also misreads her renewed crying, assuming that he’d done the wrong thing in giving her his coat. And then we reach the foot patting which is just...A hilarious ‘rules gone wrong’ type thing (Internal Rule: Human is upset - pat the human, this makes them better. Application: *Rook pats Isobel’s foot* A+++ Comfort Skills)
And it’s all topped off by ‘If you would stop crying now’ which is just....The most wonderful response to a crying person EVER (and also mirrored in the way he orders her to get control of herself when she’s laughing hysterically over the hare incident near the beginning of the book). The desperation is perfect too, it’s like, I know this crying is an expression of your upset, and I don’t want that to be the case, I don’t know what to do, it’s making me uncomfortable please stop I don’t know how else to help you.
The confusion in ‘I apologize for...that’ is good too bc he’s like ???? Isobel ???? Isobel what am I apologising for????? Isobel I did the right thing ???? Isobel why are you like this I do not understand.
(the princely command is amazing too, like, maybe if I give it as an order that’ll work. Like we have transcended comfort here, he tried that, that didn’t work, now he’s just moving on to other ways of dealing with a situation. Which is grand in a practical problem but...Not ideal when it comes to emotional ones)
OKAY. I THINK THAT’S ENOUGH TO BE GOING ALONG WITH.
TL;DR: Rook is my precious autistic bean and this headcanon improved my enjoyment of this book by approximately 10000% bc god bless characters I can relate to on this level tbh.
((As a fun side note: I also read Isobel as autistic, and did so before I did Rook. I think if she wasn’t set beside Rook, this would be far more obvious, but it’s still there with her. And honestly, I’m tripping over hc rep in this book and I’m Delighted. BLESS U FOR THIS QUESTION))

Imagine Eomer visiting Eowyn and Faramir when little Elboron, who is genetically programmed to love Aragorn Very Much, is still Very Small and telling him stories as he sits there, eyes shining and mouth agape, of how he was the first to come across King Elessar when he first came from the North?
Did he tell him about how he thought he was riding across the green grass of Rohan when a legend of bygone days seemed to appear before him out of nowhere, and how he himself questioned how it could even be possible?
Now imagine little Elboron insisting they play “The Finding or King Elessar” (aka hide and seek) and whenever Eomer finds him he shrieks out excitedly that “Legends have sprung from the green grass of Ithilien!!!”
Now imagine Elboron brought to the court to meet King Elessar and being excited to play the game with him, only THIS TIME King Elessar gets to play his part and Elboron gets to play his uncle’s part. There is general amusement when tiny baby Elboron asks King Elessar to play almost immediately after being presented to the King, but nobody is surprised when Aragorn agrees to it.
Imagine little Eldarion seeing the game and insisting that HE play King Elessar, as is his Right.
Chaos inevitably ensues when Eldarion, Elboron, and Elfwine are all together because nobody is sure who should play who. 90% of the time they end up playing the Three Hunters and either Legolas, the closest visiting Hobbit, or Eldarion’s sisters (when they’re old enough) are roped into playing Eomer and his Eored. (Eldarion is very generous and does not insist on being Aragorn every single time, so the three switch off being various members of the Three Hunters).
Anon I've been sitting on this ask for a while because I wanted to give you an answer worthy of the Feels your ask has given me, but I sincerely can't think of nothing to add. Perfect headcanons are perfect, oh my god

How would the yan bullies react to a popular social media influencer darling? Like they’re a creator on the rise and they just keep getting more and more popular,,it becomes hard for them to go to there normal school so they opt for a more well-known and more ‘safe’ school..lets say the bullies already had seen they’re videos,,do they treat the darling as an equal?
Well… I remember doing something about their darling being a idol but is kinda old now and my writing wasn't really good, so I won't recommend you to read it.
I'm going to try and make a better one :3
I'm sorry if it's a bit short.
🍭꒰⑅ᵕ༚ᵕ꒱˖♡🍮꒰⑅ᵕ༚ᵕ꒱˖♡🍰꒰⑅ᵕ༚ᵕ꒱˖♡🍮꒰⑅ᵕ༚ᵕ꒱˖🍭
What if you're also famous? [Yandere Bully x Social Media Influencer! Reader - Headcanons]:
It's no surprise you're here. The academy is glad to have someone like you studying with their students.
It's true you only just started to make a name for yourself, but they couldn't lose the opportunity to have you studying in here while you're still young. The academy is well known for graduating young celebrities like yourself.
Nowadays, they prefer to take students that already have a bit of popularity and presentable bank account, but in the past, they used to build students for to become whoever they wanted and achieving their dreams, it didn't matter if the student was rich or poor.
Anyway, here you are, safe and sound at the best school you could find!
You already knew that this school only accepted students with either: excellent grades, enough money to pay for their entrance or if you were a "young little star", as the school called them. And you seemed to fit on the third option, you guessed.
You expected to meet many students that were way above your league, you didn't think of yourself as a big shot or anything, just someone who made videos about what they liked, and apparently a lot of people found you entertaining.
You didn't expect so many people to instantly recognize the moment your teacher said your name. Some of your classmates just flat out screamed your name the moment you opened the door to introduce yourself.
The attention is, well, nice. You were caught off guard by their reaction. It was only when the teacher asked to calm down you felt comfortable to sit down.
You could notice some familiar faces around ge class. Well, "familiar" in the sense that they were well-known to many people around the country, it makes you fangirl a bit inside but also feel self-conscious, you feel so out of place.
You sit down between two people you didn't know much, but knew their name very well. Alexandra and Adrien Coldwell.
You don't remember seeing their reaction when you entered the class, but you notice that while you were coming to sit near them they kept staring at you with the most stoic bitch face you have ever saw.
It's kinda hard to not feel intimidated since they're staring at you throughout the entire class!
What, do they have a beef with eor something?? You looked at them from time to time, yet they would stop looking at you and look at the teacher.
Best first impression.
On recess, before you could go eat your lunch they decided to talk with you. In a really weird way, considering their previous attitude.
"- … Hi." They grabbed your shoulder taking your attention. Their voices seem shy with is weird considering that every magazine showing them said that they were extremely confident.
"- Yes?" You ask, wondering what are their problem.
"- Would you-" Alexandra starts, but stop herself mid sentence.
"- No, I-I mean, we noticed that, since your the new kid, and we are from the same class, we should show you the around!" She says, not giving any opportunity for you to choose.
While they show you the school, and you walk around with them, you noticed how bipolar they seem to be with you. In a moment, they seem completely full of themselves, saying that you're lucky for having them as your guide, but also acting so shy and nervous when you talk.
You think is probably because you're new kid, and they either are trying to make friends with you, or are trying to make fun of you.
In their side of the story, they're going nuts.
Firstly, they heard about you coming to their school, with wasn't supposed to be a shocker to anyone, but they still felt excited about it. They been looking at your videos for a month or two now, and they can't stop having enough of you!
Secondly, you're on the same class as them. The same. Class. As. Them. It's too much coincidence.
Thirdly, you say on the open spot right in between them. How can they not be excited about this??
They tried their best to hide their excitement, it would probably scare you to have people as great as themselves all over your feet in a heartbeat. They feel a little shy about talking with you, maybe it's because they don't want to come of as fangirls, maybe it's because they want to ask to take a picture with you.
They want to come of as cool and calm about it, but they can't. They like to think as if "you're equals" but deep down, they feel a little too desperate to impress you.
So at the same time they make snarky comments towards you, they also feel shy about talking with you.
When you discover how duchy they're to other students, you would probably not want to be anywhere near them, but please don't leave them alone, they don't want you to hate them.
"- They deserve it though! They were just some losers ogling at you, you should thank us for trying to protect you from this freaks!" They would argue. And that would probably be the moment you would stop talking with them.
And that would be the moment your bullying begins...

HEADCANON; Theodred, Rohir Culture and Eomund
Even as a young boy, Theodred was very aware he would have to prove himself to his people, and that it would be an uphill battle to do so. Theoden rode the relief of his father’s kingship after Fengel’s disastrous reign. But time and opinions moved quickly and Theodred was the first Prince to be born in Rohan for a hundred years. Theoden still could not speak Rohirric.
Eomund, on the other hand, was a man so Rohir he could have been Eorl himself. He held and remembered ancient traditions of their people and believed strongly that their Kings should do the same. He and Theoden had a fractious relationship and that often revolved around Theodred’s upbringing. This all culminated in Eomund’s insistance that Theodred join his Eored at 14, not his father’s or one of his Captains. ‘A boy cannot become a man whilst still crying for his father.’
Theodred rather resented that assessment, given how little he had learned to rely on his father. But even so, when Theoden protested, Theodred intervened and agreed with Eomund’s plan, though he felt an amount of wariness towards his Uncle’s fervour. If he was going to earn the trust he would need in later life, he had to weather through his childhood as quickly as possible. And he did, aggressively, disregarding the usual instincts and fears of a child and marching into trauma and bloodshed perhaps too readily.
Not that that meant he cowed to his Uncle on anything else. They disagreed often and loudly, most particularly on the use and treatment of boys within their ranks (after he grew enough to realise the damage he had taken from it) and the familial love between them was often clouded or quashed by cultural, political and moral dogmas that neither of them could set aside. Even so, Eomund did not have to think hard before vouching for Theodred’s readiness and right to take the mantel of Second-Marshall (after Erkenbrand suffered a debilitating injury to his knee) at the very young age of 20.
Still, they continued disagreeing and Eomund maintained his critical and sharp air around Theodred until his death when Theodred was 24. His loss was complex and difficult and left a great deal unsaid, yet also heralded even more heartbreaking loss and the new responsibility of two grieving adopted siblings that Theodred was not prepared for.

So after getting some feedback here and from some gacha folks on discord, the overall picture I’m seeing here is that people had a much larger problem with the way Minase wrote a lot of the servants and their interactions than the concept of Agartha in general. I also see alot of people base their dislike on the JP version, which I can’t really comment on because I don’t speak the language and I’m not a fan of basing opinions on possibly biased translations for or against the subject matter
tl;dr, I liked it a good deal! Hated the repetitive dialogue, but the blended fictional worlds, Megalos, and a bunch of other things were really to my liking! I view it as a cool singularity with a sloppy ending and sloppier dialogue. Not as good as Shinjuku, but leagues better than Septem, London, or Orleans on my chart.
also as far as villain servants go, Columbus goes in my “What a douche, I love em!” shelf of fame right next to Mebd and Teach. I mean look at this dude!
Tumblr media
Truly Rider is best servant class in all respects! (also his artist is great go follow!)
Addressing the elephant in the room first, I was really confused at the whole misogyny complaints. I saw a few people who found the tyrants to be sexist in concept, while others took more issue with Fergus’ interaction with Scheherazade, or how Fergus as a character was treated overall.
I don’t imagine there are THAT many people who see the kingdoms as the problem, as they never came off as a commentary on gender to begin with, and context shows that they wouldn’t even work as commentary since all aspects of them are either A) fabricated in regards to the non servants, or B) altered by Scheherazade’s Noble Phantasm in regards to actual servants. If anyone saw them as the writer’s take on gender roles, I think it’s unintended.
People taking umbrage with Fergus and Sche, I can understand a little more, as alot of that is a symptom of the repetitive dialogue that plagues this whole singularity. Fergus’ message near the end is one that I agree with (living in constant fear of death isn’t living at all, and using your trauma as an excuse to generalize or hurt other people is unacceptable), and I was a big fan of how the end of his quest to become a good king is realizing he’s just not meant to be one.
The thing is, character arcs are carried by their dialogue, and having Fergy either repeat the same crap about training/not hitting women or break the pace of a scene to internally monologue about the philosophy of a kingdom really did no favors. I also wished that his revelation about there being strong women was something someone else told him instead of something he just randomly remembers when the time is convenient, because that makes his whole “younger self” aspect kind of meaningless outside of not letting him be playable. Medea and Medusa lily were far better examples of how one goes about writing these younger servants and their relation to the knowledge of their future selves.
I think it would’ve worked better to use Adult Fergus instead, and have him show new levels of discomfort both with the situation in Argartha, and with his own behavior when first interacting with Sche (thereby betraying her expectations and reason for summoning him by actually being more thoughtful and reserved than she initially expected) . Maybe have him focus more on male camaraderie with Columbus and the resistance than sleeping with women, as I don’t imagine he’d have much interest in cell dividing zombies with fabricated personalities, even if he doesn’t know that’s what they are yet!
Now, Scheherazade is actually my favorite character from this singularity besides Wu. I love stories that have trauma & behavior developed from trauma (rather than principle built upon trauma) as an antagonistic force. Having to perfect your craft of storytelling to survive for over 2 and a half years while also suffering abuse and captivity is nothing short of awful, and the fact that this attracts the Demon Pillar to her and allows them to work together is really interesting.
I did dislike the fact that she seemed more affected by her infatuation with Fergus than his encouragement to find strength and pride in her storytelling, and see her nature as a heroic spirit as a boon to it, rather than something to fear. It feels like a big flaw of her character in FGO, which is that DW can’t decide if they want her to be a shivering leaf that hates fighting, or a sly beauty that subverts authority with her tales. Ideally these two aspects should be combined, but it comes across as inconsistent since there’s no solid in-between to give that transition more nuance.
That being said, I think the folks that label Fergus’ speech as inherently sexist are kinda missing the forest for the trees. No amount of headcanon or fan interpretation changes that he’s a character highly motivated by carnal instinct, and the fact that it’s the lense through which he tries to argue against Scheherazade’s viewpoint is pretty consistent, though the afore mentioned issues with his dialogue makes his sudden shift back to being horny on main jarring and could be fixed by him always being adult Fergus. I can at least appreciate that the story brings up the clumsiness of his words and that even if they get the message across, the flaw in delivery means that Scheherazade will not indulge him on his terms, even if she’s grown just a tiny bit out of her old mindset (plus everyone calls him out so it’s not like his attitude is treated as being “good”, just that it’s not all there is to him). Bottom line I love both those characters, and Agartha left them both in a place where I’d love to see more about them and their relationship explored!
Drake/Dahut was unremarkable (though I was a huge fan of the character design, and I wish DW would make that a skin for Drake). The concept of Ys and her being a creepy rapist/murderer using Drake as her puppet was interesting, but she really didn’t get screen time needed to do anything with that. Wu Zetian on the other hand, I felt was really fun!
I would’ve liked to see her more before the confrontation while we were in the Nightless city, but her speech about working her way up from nothing to becoming a ruler through sheer tenacity, contrasted against the lady that tries SO hard not to let it show that she likes being doted on really clicked with me. All in all, she definitely swiped Gorgon’s spot as the 4 star servant I’m gonna use that ticket on later in the year!
Penthesilea and Megalos had the highlight of the singularity. Nothing was cooler than fighting a bunch of Amazons as those two clashed overhead, and despite almost losing that fight due to a string of Penthesilea’s intrusions hitting my team, I actually wish they did more damage at this point because I wouldn’t even be mad (fyi Colombus actually got killed by Penth during the Megalos fight and I couldn’t stop laughing).
Now if we’re talking about parts of Agartha I absolutely hated, that’s Phenex with a bullet! Besides his bossfight being the most drawn out and irritating thing ever, the fact that both him and the Pillar in Shinjuku don’t fight us in their more humanoid form feels like such a waste. These are supposed to be 4 (5 counting ccc) Pillars that had enough independence gained to run away from Goetia, so the fact that they still look like pillars and never become those human forms when we fight them seems like a real dropped ball here when it comes to visual storytelling and Story/gameplay integration. Also, after how radical Shinjuku’s final fight was, Agartha really didn’t do much to sell Caladbolg finally going off in the middle of the fight (the poison of Wu’s NP was a nice touch at least!)
so yeah, I had quite a few problems here, but I always regard the art and media I consume on a component basis, and for me, the lows here really couldn’t beat out the fact that Agartha was this really cool combination of fabricated settings with tyrannical rulers facing off against a villain masquerading as a revolutionary hero, with a Nightmare monster appearing anywhere at any time, and our heroes seeking to find out which of these figures was the one truly responsible.
This was always the strength of the Remnants imo, taking looser concepts that normally don’t fly in Nasuverse fiction, and using it to twist the rules of servants through singularities in a way the original seven didn’t outside of Camelot and Babylonia. It wasn’t as great as those two by a long shot, but at the end of the day, It’s left me quite excited for Shimosa, which I’ve been told is the hypest Pseudo Singularity out of the bunch.
Tumblr media
It sucks that this singularity gets such a bad rap when it has so many cool and interesting things in it, but if people dislike something, then there’s nothing for it. As for me, I’d give it a B- on an F to S scale, with Camelot still sitting at the absolute top for me. Anyway, Happy 4th of July tomorrow if you celebrate it, and here’s to EoR 3 and Shirou eventually getting in the game (lmao nope)

EOR SE.RA.PH Singularity: Prologue~Act 1
Welcome to SE.RA.PH Singularity aka EOR Singularity 1.5 since this is between Shinjuku and Agartha timeline. Just a quick and good warning, there’s lot of ranting so you’ve been warned... Time to go through this shit round 2 again
Tumblr media
Prologue
Tumblr media
In Gudas' room, both Tamamo and Nero are hanging out in plans of the supposedly coming Summer event. What a way to skip out Spring break... Isn't that why there's no Sakura Blossom related events?! And yep, a huge foreshadowing dropped courtesy of her Majesty Nero of her Summer Version coming after this hell
Well, let's not compete with Mordred on who's going to suntan aka boiled themselves hot in that steel tin can. Let's not forget while we stranded on that island first half Tamamo... Second half we got stupid writer in need to show waifu and fanservice, decided to half-ass their work to shove out all the men away.
Mama Emiya as usual, decided to drop in to make sure no one bother his kid/Master too much! Nagging Mom activated his skill: Nagging/Worrying from overthinking! Watch it, Tamamo. Mama Emiya is still my best Mama/waifu among all you people as he now crowns as Ruler of Chaldea Kitchen!
And Mash called in on us? Or rather this Seraphinx department...? Oh hey! It turns out we can finally contact other people aside from Chaldea's office! Looks like we got one of our resource back to supply Chaldea better. Turns out it belongs to Animuspere huh... Been a while their name turned up ever since Solomon Singularity
Mama Emiya doesn't have good impression on them since that's a place prone for terrorist target. While we postpone on studying magecraft with Mama Emiya, we head to the Command Room to find out Seraphinx
Arriving there, Mash and Da Vinci greeted us with the latter skeptical on attempting contact with an oil rig place. Da Vinci, you must understand... While Nero and Tamamo came for interest, Mama Emiya is merely concerned of his children.
Learning more about Seraphinx from Mash, and... Turns out excluding the ones we saved somehow... The rest aka most of the original staff died from Lev's explosion. One of Chaldea staff talked to us while discussing. And... DAMN IT, WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS?! ARE YOU TRYING TO HURT ME AGAIN BY BRINGING UP ROMANI?! TT__TT
As Romani is really well loved even by Seraphix staff... And... Something wrong with Sheba? We're not getting any video on Chaldea's end? What the... An SOS?! WHAT?! People are turning data and the one in message...?!
Seraphix disappeared from 2019?!?!??! What's happening?! And... What the fuck?! NOW WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU?! A random weird cheerful voice, casually threatens to kill everyone... Called herself BB... After hacking into Chaldea's system... Her livestream begin. For an AI that's probably recently made, she speaks as though she's already an old woman.
Now aside from the fake pity, Chaldea got the warning signal of BB messing further with the system. Less of a wizard, more of a random idol self-proclaimed girl from that random hacking video. AI is one thing, but Ruler of the Moon? Someone been too much of Chunnibyou here. Been taking up classes with Jeanne Alter how to be one? But yeah, I know what she mean considering this is a crossover
No need to be humble and admit for an AI who make fun of humans, you upgraded yourselves to be superior in everything. Blame DW instead, Gudas. That's where our money went and gone from gacha hell. And nah personally, I could care less if you even have a voiceover.
So your point is while you claimed to not really care... Okay what the hell?! Marina Trench that's all the way bottom in the sea.... WHY THE HELL IS IT DOING THERE IN 2030?!?!??! And got a full clear that's a Singularity we need to head over and fix
What a way to throw us a job, BB. And yeah, whatever, be our kouhai for your fans that care. If I'm disappointing, you're even a bigger disappointment and more boring than I thought, kouhai. I've seen bigger egos like Gilgamesh that makes fun 24/7 at us mongrels. So nice try in your attempts to be sadistic, gotta give you effort of A+ in doing so. And who needs AI when you got Enkidu? That's what I called more impressive of a clay gaining soul and learning how to be a human
Ignoring the competition of two kouhais fighting over that self-proclamation... And technically we're not your replacement for Hakunos too.
Well said, your majesty! Now it's time for us to go and fix this Singularity! We're saving time here BB, so get your useless ass working instead of running that mouth of yours!
Mama Emiya despite not trusting BB's words... He agree that she should let us help her, having a fragment feelings of their past meetings in CCC. Da Vinci given us her order to go ahead too! With Mama Emiya, Tamamo and Nero with us... Lastly Da Vinci's warning about the future... Let the rayshift to the future begins!
And of course... This is why Mama Emiya never showed up... Haish, oh well, at least in alternate headcanon and stories, we can always put it ways they can sneak back in to join us
Act 1 (1/6)
Arriving alone... We've reached the SE.RA.PH singularity. And a whole bloodfest to survive alone in this hell begins to kill the rest of 127 Masters.
BB once again starts her feed. Other than her boring crap and well fooling us.... And boring attempts for sadism, for a front gate, you want Gudas to start a fucking rape session to go through all over your body.
And great, looks a strange fox girl going to kill us after BB's talk. You've got hundreds of blood-thirsty Servants at Chaldea, if you can't dodge their shit while trying to calm their shit, then I got some pressing issues for you.
Also just in time... Someone looks like BB but not really saves us! While talking to her... Looks like the one killing us is Suzuka aka Suzuka Gozen! Like there's any choice for this hell, so a contract shall be made, Meltryllis!
Tumblr media
For 6 turns, both Suzuka and Melt are on par at each other! While Suzuka rants her own goal to get the grail, Melt is totally bored with her from the fight. High school girl peppy much? At least she leave us alone... And don't even try call me maybe by carly rae to! I'm not giving you the number anytime!
Tumblr media
Well, thanks for saving us, Melt? Well now you just admit yourself, you're probably eavesdropping on us didn't you?! Are you really a Servant?! First time hearing a class called Alter Ego you know! Like we got any choice to end the contract, we got an oil rig  to save, finding Mama Emiya and everyone, and getting back home safely afterwards!
Uh, Melt? You want to try being summoned and see how many jackass Servants we got at Chaldea? Excluding her Tsundere attempts... Melt suggest in which direction to go next from this Holy Grail War. Good to know BB isn't trustworthy even from Melt with BB look-a-like face too. 10 days aka 21/2 hours before Seraphix sinks...
We definitely got ourself one heck of an ally here in this hell hole! Gee, are we going to start how no one fucking is kind to me like shake hands and you're special to me?! Okay, skip that crap, let's move!
After revealing about Chaldea up to now... Well aren't we lucky Gudas happened to be your type of puppet to protect? Melt then reveal more of MoonCell's end of where they originally came from, and their own kind of Holy Grail War. And also, learning what an Alter Ego is with Melt revealing her origins.
Oh did we say you were nice? I mean yeah, like you saving us, taking care of us like an escort is TOTALLY not doing nice at all. Riiight, I heard lines before so don't bother.
Tumblr media
Well so much directing our way around, if you actually decided to go out for an all out attack. Yes, whatever you say, ma'am... Let's fight... WITH STYLE!
Tumblr media
Despite an "okay" battle against a Saber... Gee, Gawain, how rude! Have you not met other lady that can be Heroic Spirits?! And... WAIT, YOU'RE OUR GAWAIN?! Uh... Did BB just fucking reshuffle who's supposed to be coming with us?
Well whatever, thanks for coming to our rescue Gawain! Why the hell are you angry when your face say so! Blushing will not excuse your way out of this!
And so one long explanation later... We got both Gawain and Melt to help us around. Once again, BB arrived with the boring entrance... Someone got pissy just because things don't go her way
We can take the whole damn time we want since you throw our Servants away. One moment you'd like us rot to death, another you want to save us, someone got a bad mood swing here. And duh, how the hell does it look like we want your jealousy? Not me! So move on, you want to kill us right?
Poor Robin... Must suck getting thrown around by BB's whims... Robin is technically popular if writer need to stop shoveling waifu at every chance needed. So if you want a fight, then it's a pain in the ass fight you want!
Tumblr media
With only requirement BB's first boss is to break her first HP bar... Good to know she's totally unbeatable. And the whole bribing scheme comes from Sakura Chips and so forth... Well, one way to be Pay 2 Win player in a Holy Grail War
Act 1 (2/6)
Tumblr media
Gudas’s definition of normal is a bit warped thanks to the amount of Servant in Chaldea. Both Gawain and Melt began arguing about Servant’s going back to their true base instinct... Huh?! Wait?! All the masters died? So we’re fighting that same thing in Fuyuki all over again?!!!
Picking up the object looking like a Holy Grail, while cutting short... Oh god!
Okay wait... This is like CasGil’s Babylonia trip in seeing memories or sort... A man talking about working in the oil rig... One of the staff perhaps? It was showing what happened before Chaldea’s arrival in Seraphix. And killing their own current director, the heck?! Damn it... The final thoughts and memories turning the whole place in a killing festival to survive...
Act 1 (3/6)
Arriving a path that splits into two, Chest for Command Room, Thighs for Helicopter area, and Hair for submarine cable and pump with power plant. Aside from the unneeded comment on Chest, Tristan shows up! At least this isn’t our Tristan back n Chaldea but...
Ok, wait, I hope you don’t mistake her for BB but... You may be right and totally wrong at the same time! It’s hell but Melt is definitely our ally so far! Play Despacito if needed, but I’m not letting you harm Melt. Gee Melt, you want guillotine session, find Sanson and Carmilla! And do it later after you got what you need from this place!
Tumblr media
Thankfully he doesn’t have pain in the ass gimmick for his boss fight, story wise both Melt and Gawain are facing off against Tristan. With Tristan pinned down, we got a choice to either let Melt end his life or... Melt withdraw herself since he noticed her condition. Thanks to Melt’s tsundere act, we manage to get Tristan to become our ally!
But unfortuantely we got a cat fight between Melt and Tristan... All’s well ends well still! While walking to the next destination, Gudas explained to Tristan everything so far... And while Tristan does the same, please don’t start poetry session like Shakespeare too
Heading towards Breast Valley aka Command Room where another particular Alter Ego lies... Aka Passionlip, an Alter Ego like Melt born from BB made of love and hatred. Good to know for someone in horrible condition, your pervert “sadistic” side is still working with that mouth
And woah! That’s a staff from Seraphix coming to us! We finally did found a survivor in Command Room! While Gawain already has Mable charmed by his looks, Gudas got to explain on their end while Melt is with them.... But first... That loud stomping sound behind Mable is a giant claw?! And... It’s Passionlip that Melt mentioned!! Here’s come the first round attempt in fighting her!
Tumblr media
Surviving 6 turns is good to know in story, she’s definitely unbeatable with that Trash & Crush skill. Despite bound in restrainment on her sense of self, Passionlip destroyed the route to the Command Room. Getting out of this area ASAP, we take along with Mable in two while Lip continues to compress the area.
Act 1 (4/6)
Tumblr media
Fleeing all the way to the Thigh area... We’re safe. And a long explanation later to Mable, it pretty much confirms how much Seraphix is cut off from the world. There’s confirmed of other survivors inside the Command Room beside her. Finding another time to get back to Command Room, Gudas still remain firm in taking Mable to find a safe place.
Melt mentioned a chapel where they could rest, though Tristan remembered Vlad Extra being there as a guard... Nevertheless, we still need to get there to recover from fatigue
Act 1 (5/6)
Reaching the Chapel, safe to say the newly found bloodied spear shows Vlad is still lurking around. Also pretty much confirmed there’s no point explaining to Vlad, since he definitely wants Gudas dead.
Good for you, Tristan. At least you’re repenting your mistake of attacking us out of madness. And... What did Vlad say again?!
Tumblr media
Gawain’s fatal blow killed Vlad once and for all... Vlad told us hurry to the chapel where Archer is waiting for us! But why? What’s wrong with Archer? Isn’t it our Mama Emiya?! No time to waste, Emiya is waiting for us!
And inside the Chapel.... Emiya--Wait.... Isn’t that... EMIYA ALTER?! So BB up to her no good tricks in switching around the Servant again... And a brief explanation later...
Tumblr media
Emiya Alter is still our Mama Emiya in ways to make sure we’re okay. The Chapel becomes our newfound base as Emiya Alter delivers more information. Melt ended up sleeping outside since Mable still doesn’t trust any Alter Ego by her experience. But before we could sleep, looks like one of the wall is in a weirdly haphazard problem?
At least we got a good night sleep... Melt on the other hand outside, laments about Lip she saw earlier.
Act 1 (6/6)
Tumblr media
300 Sakura Money paid to that BB just cause she want suffering in exchange... At least we got the key to unlock whatever that’s hidden in the church! And Mable, never question that AI who wants to be superior at every humane thing because of how inferior she probably feels
But with restrainment of who will get the data... Gudas ended up taking the information since Mable decided to let us know it. The record starts with a person working as a mental health specialist in Seraphix joined in 2016. Revealing the inner workings and different staff available to harvest oil and magical energy... There’s also a conflict between them, as they described the amount patients they received
Eventually pondering the reason of Seraphix’s creation... 3 years later, they lost contact with the outside world and chaos happened within them internaly. Monsters he encountered that attacked human minds? They even noted the change in themselves now they can longer trust people a month later, describing blood fest that’s probably Vlad and other Servants attacking around the church
On his final memory, they got attacked and losing their left eye in the process. The Director and assistant director went mad as confirmed by record keeper themselves. But... The planetarium? Experiment?
It ended there as Gudas now explained what they just learned. Melt revealed about the Planetarium being the power source of this singularity. Tristan offered to stay behind with Mable while we continue exploring this Singularity. Emiya Alter goes off on his own to deal with the remaining Servants...
Melt later reveals her true feelings to the sleeping Gudas how Gudas should be able to be in contact with Chaldea once they reached the Command Room. And her own feelings so far and about Gudas after becoming their Servant...
Act 1 done, 3 more to go! I’ll stop here and get back to grinding to clear some of the relevant missions...

MIQO.TE LORE POST........
-Miqo.te are descendants of the M.ithra (a very feline race from FF 11).
-they’re split into two separate ethnicities (seeker of the sun and keeper of the moon
Satoshi is half and half. he has more seeker of the sun in him but he has things of his father’s half too (such as the more pronounced canine teeth and his reverence for Menphin.a
Sun Seekers worship Azeyma the Warden and Moon Keepers worship Menphina the Lover
Satoshi worships Menphina
Due to their exposure to light, the pupils of a Seeker of the Sun Miqo'te are vertically aligned slits with irises faintly colored. It is common for their eyes to be disparately colored from birth, a trait considered auspicious among their kind.
In contrast, due to their exposure to darkness, the pupils of a Keeper of the Moon Miqo'te are large and round with little iris exposure. They are distinguishable from their diurnal cousins by their darker fur, larger ears, rounder eyes, more pronounced canines, and longer, skinnier tails.
The groups share a superb sense of smell and powerful leg muscles, results of a long evolution geared towards hunting and predation.
the Seeker of the Sun Miqo'te's ears are wider with thick hair, while the Keeper of the Moon Miqo'te have stylized ears with short hair and are slightly longer and thinner.
Sun Seekers are diasporized across Eor/zea
sun seekers are mostly found in Limsa Lom.insa. many of them do not follow the clan hierarchy closely or at all
satoshi is one of those and if you tried to get him to join back with a clan he will go no
theres also a clan down in Thana.lan in the Sagoli desert. The U Tribe
Moon Keepers can be found in the Shroud. Some of them get a long with the Gridanians and some of them are poachers
female Miqo'te vastly outnumber males, a unique trait among Eorzea's races
A few facts about the Seeker of the Suns
Roughly a head shorter and smaller of body than the average Hyur, the Seekers are blessed with a wiry strength, surpassing agility, and the stamina to run for hours under the blazing sun—a combination of traits that makes them uncommonly suited to hunting in arid climes. As many Seekers are adept at climbing and diving, they also make for excellent sailors
The Seekers of the Sun are a highly patriarchal culture, with each tribe centered around a strong breeding male (nunh) whose duty is to form a harem and lead his people to glory and prosperity. Young males are born and raised as "tia," and must either assume the position of nunh by challenging and defeating an existing nunh in single combat, or leave the community to find a harem of his own. In particularly large tribes, multiple nunh may coexist in the same community, though such cases are rare
Satsuki challenged this. A lot. And she ended up becoming the first woman leader of ANY Miqo.te tribe. She was stronger than most males and she shunned the patriarchal culture that existed in the clan before she took over. When Satoshi was born, she and Miles sought to make sure that he wasn’t going to end up like his ancestors.
While not impossible, a Seeker of the Sun choosing his mother's name to be his last, would amount to shunning his culture and adopting the rules of the Keepers of the Moon. There will be some Seekers of the Sun who will respect this, but others who frown upon it
Satoshi straight up did this and he is looked down on by a  LOT of of his kind that are not the ones that he knows in Limsa L.ominsa
There’s 26 Miqo.te clans for each letter of the Eor.zean alphabet.
Satsuki’s clan was most likely an offshoot of either the S or K clan. Which happens often with males. Again, Satsuki is just weird. She took a Moon Keeper (Miles) as a husband so...
Some male miqo.te leave the tribe to try and become breeding males for themselves and establish a new clan. most females don’t follow tho so they die out
Satoshi kinda did this? but he left because he couldn’t deal with the grief of losing his parents. no one followed him because they perceived him as weak.
About names...
Technically Satoshi and Satsuki should, well, be S’toshi and S’tsuki cause probably of the S tribe bull shit but again, Sats tribe was weird and she was weird and since her tribe was an offshoot, I’m sure she had leeway to screw with some stuff.
A few facts about the Keeper of the Moon
Roughly a head shorter and smaller of body than the average Hyur, the Keepers of the Moon are distinguishable from their diurnal cousins by their fur, dark as fog, and rounder eyes with large pupils. They also have larger ears, more pronounced canines, and longer, skinnier tails
Though lacking the physical stamina of the Seekers, they make up for this with a fierce strength of will and unerring instincts. With their keen intuition, Keeper hunters have been known to easily snare even targets concealed in the gloom of night.[3] Keepers are known for their reticent and brooding personalities, but are also respected and sometimes feared for their tenacity
Though lacking the physical stamina of the Seekers, they make up for this with a fierce strength of will and unerring instincts. With their keen intuition, Keeper hunters have been known to easily snare even targets concealed in the gloom of night. Keepers are known for their reticent and brooding personalities, but are also respected and sometimes feared for their tenacity
In contrast to the Seekers of the Sun with their male-dominated tribes and harems, the fundamental unit of Keeper of the Moon society is the family, centered around a strong mother figure and her children. Keepers are known to form small communities composed of two or three families who hunt together
Now ya’ll know why Miles miqo.te was so attracted to Satsuki miqo.te. she pretty much embodied everything that the keepers of the moon loved. and im sure miles fell hard and fast.
satoshi physically resembles seekers of the sun but he absolutely 100 percent loves his keepers brethren outlook more
satsuki was everything to satoshi
The men of the Keepers of the moon live a wanderer's life, and the women generally believe that men are at their best in small doses. Keepers of the Moon are not raised with a father, and so women and children keep the hearth, ply various trades, and accept game and visits from the menfolk.
idk this just makes me laugh lmfao
i bet miles tried to leave and satsuki was just “wtf are u doing dumbass’
I don’t know much about the mit/hra personally but it does sound like that the keepers of the moon take after them more than the seekers of the sun do
what follows are my own personal headcanons i guess
evolution wise, miqo.te evolved from the mith.ra and they lost many of the cat like appearance that the mi.thra had. such as the feline like face
miqo.te can still do things such as pur and they LOVE raw fish. catnip is their worst enemy
many different clans have various different tattoos for their faces
their ears are indicative of their mood.
so is their tail.
their ears are sensitive! but not in a bad way. some miqo.te dont like it when you touch them but most of the time? they really do
and head scratches ;v;
dont touch their tail tho

Story Headcanons: Fuyuki (Part 1 ~ Sections 1-3)
Spoiler warning for the listed chapters of the game!
I actually played through some EoR in between reading Fuyuki parts and wow you can really see the difference in how the game was written! It’s writing has totally improved since the early days and I think we all appreciate it, even if the writing wasn’t that horrible to begin with. But let’s revisit that first singularity, shall we?
Tumblr media
Section 1: Burning City
Goes into a mild panic when Mash accidentally says she’s going to kill her if she doesn’t wake up. This panic is further escalated when she does get up and finds that they’re in the middle of a burning city, surrounded by monsters. Forget waking up in a hallway this is so much worse.
Does her best to direct Mash in fending off all the skeletons, but is a lot more unsure of herself and anxious than she was in the simulator. There’s a lot of only just barely calling stuff out in time and glancing behind herself out of fear. They manage to defeat the immediate threat, but Eva still feels jumpy and far from safe. The sheer amount of fire isn’t helping things either. I mean, they just left a destructive fire to be thrown into… A destructive fire. Not the outcome she was hoping for.
Starts to calm down a little bit when Roman manages to reach them through the comms system, and then promptly goes back to containing her anxiety attack when it's mentioned that there was a possibility she could have “lost her existence” during that rayshift. What if that happens on the way back? Can they even get back? Are they stranded in a random burning city?
The panic remains a constant in the back of her mind, never really leaving… But she does get a bit of relief when it’s revealed that Mash is now a demi-servant. She’s absolutely fascinated by how that could have happened - in all her research, she’s never heard of anything like what just happened to Mash. Of course, her second immediate instinct is to try to discern what servant Mash fused with. She doesn’t really know anything at the moment, only having the information that they were male and probably had a giant shield. But it’s better than nothing.
“Try not to worry,” says Roman. I don’t blame him for not knowing but worrying is half of what Eva does so I think that she’s gonna keep worrying regardless. Even if there’s nothing to worry about she’s gonna worry. She could worry about whether or not she’s gonna accidentally kill herself with her own pencil…
She feels a bit worried when she hears that Mash is going to be relying on her magical energy feed since well… As far as she knows it’s not really enough to support a servant. But she’s just not gonna mention that and continue hoping that she makes it out of here alive. After all, Mash wasn’t a servant before. Surely that means she won’t vanish if Eva starts running out of energy, right?
When Roman cuts out due to the unstable power, she takes a deep breath, forces the anxiety as far away from the surface as she can, and switches to focusing on the goal. They’ve gotta get to the leyline, and for now they shouldn’t worry about anything other than that. Just take it one step at a time.
She’s actually increasingly grateful that Fou ended up rayshifting with them, having a cute furball around gets rid of at least a tiny bit of all the stress she’s feeling. She’s just gotta make sure it doesn’t attack her face when she tries to pet it. She also finds Fou hilarious in just how much it makes fun of everyone, which might actually be a better stress outlet than just petting it.
Section 2: To the Spirit Meridian
On the way to the leyline, her mind is moving a million miles an hour between trying to figure out what servant Mash is, to trying to explain the abnormal mana density, to theorizing how one could even create a singularity.
When they rush over to find Olga Marie her initial reaction is to sigh (well, as much as she can while trying not to inhale too much smoke). But after a few seconds she figures that she might be able to get back on the director’s good side if she proves herself here.
She tries to cut in with an explanation when Olga questions why the demi-servant experiment was only just now successful, but just ends up drawing attention to herself and getting yelled at.
Doesn’t appreciate being reminded again how she’s a crappy mage who shouldn’t be able to contract servants… Her immediate reaction is to launch into a lecture about why she’s more capable than her magic circuits would make her seem, but Mash cuts her off by saying she forced the contract. She didn’t know that before, and is honestly a little disappointed that this was forced instead of a natural thing that happened. But she’s a master nonetheless, and so she’s just gonna try to prove that she’s a good one no matter the circumstances.
The number of times Olga tries to repeat things to her that she already understands is astounding, but she sits through it each and every time because she knows it’s better to put up with it than to keep getting on her bad side by acting like a smart ass. (She has to hold back laughter when Olga doesn’t realize she’s actually standing on the Leyline point. How could she not have realized that? The mana in the air is obviously denser.)
Yet another panic surge when she hears that the remaining staff is less than 20 people. They might actually be trapped with no way to get back if the staff is that small. Can they even operate the rayshift tech properly? Luckily she gets some relief from hearing that the other Masters can be easily cryopreserved instead of dying. She wishes they could be more easily revived, but she’d rather they survive like that than just kick the bucket.
She might not be a fan of Olga Marie - heck, Olga Marie might be a major contributing factor to increasing stress levels - but she can get behind the fact that she wants to deal with the situation as quickly and efficiently as possible and get back to Chaldea.
Section 3: Investigate the Bridge
She’s so grateful every time monsters attack and cut Olga off though. Seriously. She doesn’t need to be lectured this many times in one day. She’s doing her dang job. Save unnecessary exposition for… When you aren’t in a burning city?
It doesn’t help that Olga is pretty much completely useless whenever they are attacked. The most she can do is point out the enemy and scream. At least Eva is trying to support Mash and hinder enemies with magecraft. Olga is just… Olga.
Of course, when she finds out that she’s acting like that because she’s equally as stressed as Eva, Eva is pretty sympathetic. She definitely knows what it’s like to feel emotionally stretched and constantly anxious from work. From then on out, she basically never fights back against any verbal abuse she’s getting from Olga, because she knows where it’s coming from, and knows that if she returns that attitude, it’ll probably make things worse for all of them.

Story Headcanons: Prologue
This will be the first and probably shortest in the series of posts I’m going to be making about Eva! I may further develop on these later in a more fic-like format, but for now I like them in this simple list style, so we’re going to run with that! This post covers the entire prologue, and after this I’m going to go through each singularity in order, probably with the events thrown in as well. I’ll likely be breaking everything up with other posts about specific characters or short stories when I get the drive to do so! I’m going to try to keep these story posts broken up for a bit, since I’m a little behind on the story of EoR & the Lostbelts, but by the time I get through these hopefully I should at least be done with enough EoR to start writing for those sections!
Okay, here we go! Spoiler warning for the prologue I guess but I don’t know how you could have not read it at this point.
Eva flipped out in a good way when she got thrown into that first combat simulation. She wasn’t expecting it at all, but made the most of what she was given, even if it was only 180 seconds. For that short period of time, she was totally immersed in her role as a master, and couldn’t stop smiling. At the end of it, she was actually a bit disappointed that they weren’t going to keep any record of the fight, because that meant she’d never find out how well she did. That, and it meant that no one else would be aware of what skill level she was starting at. But she’d work with it.
She was a bit surprised to realize she’d fallen asleep in the hallway afterwards, but did her best to assure everyone it wouldn’t happen again. (She lied about that.)
Had to contain the urge to squee over Fou the second she got a proper look at it. It’s just so… Fluffy. And cute. How could you not love it? When Mash mentions that it seems like she’ll end up as Fou’s second caretaker she’s very happy because of course she wants the cute fluffy fox-cat-dog-thing as her pet. She has no idea what sort of things it can eat but she wants to give it treats already.
Is just a bit confused when Mash refers to her as senpai - she knows the meaning of the term but doesn’t understand why it would apply to her. When Mash continues to use it after learning her name, she just kind of goes with it, despite thinking that Mash is likely more capable than her, having been at Chaldea longer.
Freely admits from the get-go that she has no formal training as a Master. She tries to back up that fact by mentioning her extensive theory studies but most people don’t bother to listen to her after hearing she’s a total rookie.
She initially talks back when people try to talk down to her because of her inexperience, but after a while she just starts putting up with it, preferring to show them with her actions rather than her words just how valuable she is.
Tries desperately not to pass out during orientation, going so far as discreetly kicking herself to try to stay awake. Sadly, she fails. She’s determined to not let that happen again. If you know anything about her you know that it definitely happens again.
Is pretty deadpan when she discovers Roman slacking off in her room. She’s already passed out two times today and been kicked off the first mission because of that mishap. Things can’t really get any worse, so she might as well try to deal with things as calmly as possible. She’s very relieved when he turns out to be friendly.
She actually manages to get back into a somewhat better mood over the course of talking to him, until. You know. Everything goes horribly, horribly wrong.
She doesn’t hesitate at all in going to try to help when the fire breaks out. I mean, she had a vague idea of what she was getting into when she signed up to work at Chaldea, and while her instincts are telling her to run away, she knows that she can’t just leave a bunch of people there to die, including Mash. So she bundles her resolve to do everything she can to save as many people as she can and heads towards the danger.
She blatantly ignores every time she’s told to run away despite wanting to do so, partially because she doesn’t understand the severity of the situation and partially because she’s determined that this is her chance to do something good for this world - something she feels she hasn’t gotten to do yet.
When the rayshift program identifies her as a valid master and starts to activate, she goes very quickly from determined to panicked to feeling that high of being a master once again to panic again to resolving that she’ll work with what she’s got. She has no idea what’s really about to happen but it might keep her alive, it might keep other people alive, and it might give her chances to do more good. She’s trapped anyways, so it’s not like she’s got another option. So she just takes Mash’s hand, braces herself for whatever weird magical thing is about to happen, and hopes for the best.
Uh... Tags I guess?
