Some rough ideas for a 3D environment I'm building slowly for my final King Arthur project. Trying to also figure out how I'm going to break it down into more digestible imagery. I can get lost into building stories with this stuff. 🤔

After some back and forth of trying to find the more suitable idea along with feedback. I'm aiming for the fantasy deer idea. 😶 Hopefully I can pull this off!

The Shroud in Myrrlands is stronger than elsewhere in the Wilds, and lost souls are particularly drawn to this area. Aftermath of a devastating magical mishap haunt the area, and it's unsustainable for life. Still, the ghastly images of life once prospered here are considered beautiful by the adventurers tempted enough to travel to these cursed lands.

My sister had a solo opening so I decided it would be a good opportunity to draw a wall from her exhibit...

How is it? There weren't any seats so I had to stand up while doing it and I don't have the smoothest lines but it's still pretty good :)

In the process of creating my artwork using Photoshop, I begin by outlining my concept with rough sketches and basic shapes, laying the groundwork for the composition.

Once I have a solid foundation, I move on to building the base layers, carefully considering the values and lighting to establish the overall mood and atmosphere. This involves strategically placing lighter and darker tones to create a sense of depth and dimension within the piece.

Anyway, back to the drawing board. The ref was the photo I took during the walk. My mom taught me how to shoot during the night time, but the photos I took sucked ass because my hands were trembling. Still, I wanted to capture that moment, so I recreated it partly from those messy photos and partly from my memory.
