Proof that Zionists are trying to make the Middle East into Europe.
youtube
The only good thing that I can think of is that we don’t have to look far to get building materials for all the houses that the Palestinians need to build. I know that the people in the past didn’t really understand how habitats work, but why did they think that a pine forest, which needs lots of water and a colder climate, would ever faired well in a climate that’s much warmer and rain less than Europe? One match stick and then the whole forest would burn, including anything in it like the illegal Israeli settlements. I can’t say that I’m surprised that they rather let their people live in a death trap than plant local flora that could actually survive the climate. Colonists have always thought that their greed and pride is more important than human lives.

Hello, everyone! I know my last recent posts have been very grim, or otherwise very frown‐pilled, so I've come to make a few recommendations: the video "Good News In September (you might have missed)" (LINK), made by Sam Bentley on YouTube. Yesterday, I was feeling extremely bad, and this video genuinely did so much good to my wellbeing — this is The Hopecore Effect! He has other videos similar to this one, so make sure to give them a watch whenever you need a booster!
I would also be delighted to recommend the video "Fixing climate change is about to accelerate" (LINK), made by Simon Clark on YouTube — it details how climate activism has patterns found elsewhere in society's history ("tipping points') can affect this situation positively (even if there is a negative possibility), and how the fight against Global Ebulition might be on the very start of its ascension point. It overall is a very hope-giving video, and it also helped me cheer up recently; he has many other videos covering similar topics, though I cannot guarantee all of them are very positive.
That's all, everyone. I hope you all have a lovely day — remember to drink water, eat, and take any medication you need to take! Toodle‐o..! 🪲🤍

Protecting 1.2% of Earth would prevent most extinctions – study
Allocating an additional 1.2 per cent of the world’s land to nature reserves would prevent most of the predicted extinctions of plants and animals, according to Reuters.
The world is aiming to reach a goal of protecting 30 per cent of the world’s land area by 2030 to shield wildlife facing extinction due to climate change, pollution, and habitat destruction. World policymakers will meet at a UN summit in Colombia in October to discuss plans to reach the goal.
The study, published in Frontiers in Science on Tuesday, aimed to identify the most valuable areas in the hope that they would be incorporated into the protection plans, according to Carlos Peres, a study co-author and conservation ecology expert at the University of East Anglia in the United Kingdom.
Most countries do not actually have a strategy. The 30-by-30 targets still lack a lot of details because it doesn’t actually say what 30 percent should be protected.
The protection proposed in the study would cover an additional 1.6 million square kilometres (633,000 square miles). That is an area about one-fifth the size of the United States. The study estimates that $263 billion is the amount it would cost to acquire the new areas, many of which include private property, at present value over the next five years.
Time is not on our side because it will become increasingly more expensive and more difficult to set aside additional protected areas.
Land acquisition accounts for most of the costs of establishing protected areas. However, the study did not include the costs of maintaining protected areas.
About three-quarters of these sites are tropical forests, as these are the most biodiverse ecosystems in the world. The Philippines, Brazil, and Indonesia have more than half of the expensive sites. Meanwhile, Russia is the only country with the most valuable land ready for conservation. The study calculated 138,436 square kilometres, which is the size of Greece.
Several African countries also topped the list. Madagascar ranked fourth overall, while the Democratic Republic of Congo had the largest area on the continent earmarked for conservation.
The researchers only looked at terrestrial and freshwater ecosystems, not oceans or marine protected areas. They also did not include invertebrates, as the geographical distribution of insects and other such animals was poorly mapped.

Sorta a follow up to one of my previous posts and what did I expect, Musk committed a reckless action that caused environmental harm and laughed it off in a Tweet cause at worst he'll get a slap on the wrist! I can guarantee had it been an average person who destroyed those endangered nests they would be put on full blast, but of course Elon is rich and thus free of consequence. Remember this is the man who trumpeted free speech and information then banned everyone from journalists to some guy tracking his flights. Typical rules for you not for me kinda situation.

Research on the topic "Does AI really harm the environment?"
specially for @cherrifire and the ones who thinks like them
(AND NOW STATISTICS ^-^)
On the topic of AI and what part of it harms, and what helps, and sorting out the pros and cons of AI will take an eternity of endless discussions, so I'm going to speak out in response only to the harm of AI to the environment mentioned in the post by Cherrifire. Speaking of environmental damage and the use of electricity for the work of generative AIs. I do not deny this fact, but I understand that not everything is so simple. I specifically scoured the Internet to compare the data, and here's what I found out (I'll leave links to the articles below the information given.) : "In 2022, AI contributed to 2% of global energy usage." https://mspoweruser.com/ai-electricity-usage/ Since we are not talking in this case about those AI that serve as obvious assistants to a person in, for example, medicine or the early detection and response to emergency situations, and we are also omitting part of the electricity, we will not count part of it. Approximately 1 percent of all electricity used will remain. Now we need to look at other statistics:"Youtube electricity consumption vs. household electricity consumption Total global electricity consumption is 21,372 TWh. Therefore Youtube uses about 243.6 TWh (over 1% of global electricity). How does that compare to typical household electricity consumption? In the United States the average annual household electricity consumption is 10,766 kWh. So, let’s do some quick maths… It’s not easy because of the unit orders of magnitude, but the result is: annual global usage of Youtube could power an American household for about… 2 billion years. Or all 127 million U.S. households for about 8 years." https://thefactsource.com/how-much-electricity-does-youtube-use/ "Facebook’s electricity use has increased in recent years as newer data centers have come online. In 2019, the company’s electricity usage reached 5.1 terawatt hours, a significant increase from the previous year." and from the same article, "How much power does Instagram use? Every time Cristiano Ronaldo posts an image, let’s say an average one, for that image to travel to his 240 million followers, it consumes roughly around 36 megawatt hours. That’s the equivalent of adding 10 UK households to the grid for one year" This article contains quite a lot of information, but I took the most important thing. If you're interested, read it for yourself. https://michiganstopsmartmeters.com/how-much-power-does-facebook-use/ "Meta’s electricity use has increased in recent years, as newer data centers have come online. In 2022, the company's electricity usage surpassed 11.5 terawatt-hours, a 22-percent year-over-year increase. Before 2021 the company was known as Facebook."It also says that "Meta has set goals to reduce its carbon footprint by 50 percent in 2030. In recent years, the company was able to separate growth in the business from increased emissions, annually reducing their operational greenhouse gas emissions. The company is also aware of its water consumption and has committed to a circular system that allows for the reuse of water consumed." https://www.statista.com/statistics/580087/energy-use-of-facebook-meta/ (ред.)
And that's when we talk about the use of water for cooling the system. I do not deny the fact that this is happening and it's bad consequences for the environment. Let's look first at one of the most popular generative AI systems, ChatGPT. "Shaolei Ren, a researcher at the University of California, Riverside, has been studying the environmental consequences of generative AI products like ChatGPT. His research estimates that ChatGPT consumes approximately 500 milliliters of water every time a user interacts with it through a series of 5 to 50 prompts or questions. This estimate takes into account indirect water usage, such as cooling power plants that supply electricity to data centers." https://medium.com/@pankajvermacr7/ais-hidden-thirst-microsoft-s-34-water-surge-fuels-tech-enthusiasm-fa37f8b4e467 So it tooks like 5 litres of water for that, alright. And we have now 200 mil weekly users of ChatGPT (https://www.demandsage.com/chatgpt-statistics/). Of course not every user of Chat GPT is active at the same time and interactions with it don't take long time, but it's said that the number of everyday interactions with it is like around 1.5 million, so let's count it like. 1 500 000 * 7 = 10 500 000 msgs per week and 10 500 000 * 5 = 52 500 000 litres of water per week, and there is 52 weeks in one year so 52 500 000 * 52 = 2 730 000 000 litres of water per year, 2.73 billion litres per year spent on cooling system for Chat GPT's data centers. Seems really much, huh. And it kinda sounds like a disaster for environment. But I also found this: "Facebook (Meta Platforms) uses water at its data centers to cool servers and maintain optimal humidity. Meta’s total data center portfolio consumption was 663 million gallons (2.5 billion liters) of water, comprised of withdrawal of 956 million gallons (3.6 billion liters) of water, less discharge of 293 million gallons (1.1 billion liters) of water." https://dgtlinfra.com/data-center-water-usage/#:~:text=Facebook%20(Meta%20Platforms)%20uses%20water,(1.1%20billion%20liters)%20of%20water
And okay, okay, I see that the usage of water for Chat GPT's systems is more than the Facebook's, but the latter is not far away from the first. And still the usage of electricity for all of the AI is less than the usage of energy for the Facebook, YouTube, Instagram and other social media all together. Then, maybe it'll be better to not just hate all (or even every only generative) AI and paying no attention to Meta Platforms and ext., but to achieve changes for the better at least in some of them, to stand for at least the return of water, so promised by Meta, if you really care so much about harming the environment, waste of electricity and greenhouse gas?

Collagène et Prise de Poids
Tumblr media
Effets à long terme
Conclusion

Avatar: The Way Of Water (2022) 9/10
Tumblr media
Now with their own family, Jake and Ney'tiri are at ease living in the forest. But the past has a way of catching up, leaving the family no other choice but to head to Pandora, where the Metkayina Na'vi reside.
WATCH THIS MOVIE IN IMAX WHILE YOU STILL CAN. All I'm saying. You won't regret it.
The imagery is beautiful, with vibrant colors. The bird-like creatures and Avatars are striking, and the plot may hit close to home for some people. There's new faces, old faces, and everything in between.
This franchise just goes to show how horrible humans are, as a species. The first film is reminiscent of what happened with the First Nations peoples, the Aztec, etc etc. This one is reminiscent of how damaging humans can be to the water, a vital thing needed to live. It brought me to tears a few times, honestly.
The cast is interesting too, with Zoe Saldana, Sam Worthington and Stephen Lang reprising their roles as Ney'tiri , Jake, and Colonel Quartich. There's also Sigourney Weaver as Kiri Sully, Kare Winslet as Ronal, Jack Champion as Spider, Brian Dalton as Lo'ak, Cliff Curtis as Tonowari, and Jamie Flatters as Neteyam. All are different and interesting in their own way, and have complex personalities.
There's also the Na'vi language, as well as the Avatar sign language, which looks notably different from American Sign Language. That's also a cool aspect in this film, how they portray the diversity and differences in culture of the Na'vi people.
The action scenes are great to watch, being that there's more traditional weapons involved such as spears, and bows and arrows. There's also guns, but there's something about watching a bow and arrow being used in combat that's aesthetically pleasing to see.
This movie is just as good as it's predecessor, if anything. It's emotional, there's action, a bit of romance, and it raises awareness about very real issues that happened and are still happening. They did a stellar job of getting the message across.
