My favorite detail about this ep was the way everyone was like "what a weird day" or "this is so weird" about what is supposed to be a *normal* adventure, literally supposed to represent a normal day as a normal worker in a normal world. But they're so used to the craziness and to the uncanny of the circus that a normal day just became "weird" to them

Chase after the Kitty

You run after the odd kitty of shoelaces- running behind a giant alphabet block, in your attempt to catch up you nearly slip on a giant pearl necklace, but you regain your balance and burst forward, hardly paying much attention to the owner of the arms the feline had jumped into, crying in fear. You do luckily notice just in time though- skidding to a halt. You see a tall thin floating ….man? But his head was a giant eye ball w dentures protecting it-

“Gangle! What is it my dear?” Said this man, his voice sounded like a show host or something- but he wore what looked like a prince’s crown.. also it seemed a whole princes’s outfit..

She didn’t realize she was gawking till the man noticed her, as the kitty cried in his arms, babbling somethings you can’t quite understand, waving her shoelace paw in your general direction.

“Oh hello little Princess- and who might you be?”

Your cheeks blush red, mixed feelings and confusion “I.. I’m.. wait- I’m…” to your horror you realize you can’t remember! You remember being drunk, you remember a soulless job, you remember buying and playing a new VR game… but not much more-

The man can see you’re panicking, as you’re hyperventilating.

“Oh calm down! No need to worry my Sweet! No one remembers their name here! We’ll give you a new one!” W a snap of his fingers dark blue sparkling poof dropped a Magic 8-ball, he places it in her hands, telling her to give it a shake it and see what it comes up with.

You hesitantly take it, the name “Mary” shows up. You think about it, before giving it another shake, “Lollipop” tf? You try one more time- this time shaking it harder-so frustrated! “Pomni” Pomni? What kind of name is that? You try again but the man apologies, as that was her third try- plucking it from your hands, he reads it “Pomni! Princess Pomni-Perect! Always great to have a fellow royal join us!” Your cheeks turn red again against your permission.

You huff, arms crossed, whatever- not like it matters anyway she guesses. Now you have a moment to think and someone to talk to, maybe he knows something-

2. Of the ones you've written, what's your slowest slowburn? How slow is it?

I’m currently planning a Yuno/Nyxara (OC) romance, which will be the slowest slowburn I’ve ever written. The relationship between them will evolve over the course of ten years! The pacing will allow for deep character development, building a strong emotional connection as they navigate their individual paths.

9. When you write, do you plan out the stages of a relationship, or just let it flow? Do you have any works where the characters seem to "write themselves"?

It depends on the story! Some relationships flow naturally as I write, while others need to be more carefully planned out. In my Enter the Circus fic, for instance, the dynamic between Nozel and Vanessa is more spontaneous, but for Yami and Charlotte, I’ve planned out every stage. They surprise me sometimes, though—their personalities take over, especially in those tension-filled moments!

15. Are there any relationship dynamics/tropes you would never write?

I’m not a fan of writing relationships that involve excessive jealousy or toxic dynamics (like cheating). I love exploring healthy, supportive relationships even when the circumstances around them are tough—like in war or survival settings. So, you probably won’t see me dive into tropes like love triangles or unhealthy obsessions.

27. Do you have any characters who are hopeless romantics? How do they interact with the story?

Yes, I’d say Isabella (from Whispers of the Nightingale) leans toward being a hopeless romantic. Even though she’s involved in resistance work during the war, she still clings to the idea of love and romance. Her connection with Leopold,our young Vermilion, is a good example of this—she’s always dreaming of a future with him despite the dangerous times they live in.

31. Are there any songs that remind you of [couple]? Are there any songs that remind them of each other?

For Fuegoleon and Esmeralda, their song would definitely be "I Want to Spend My Lifetime Loving You" by Tina Arena. It reflects the strength and passion of their bond, especially with the themes of love and sacrifice. They’re both fighters in their own way, but their love for each other is a grounding force in their lives.

41. Who's your most repressed/oblivious character? Who's your most aware character? What makes them different?

Most repressed would definitely be Nozel Silva—he has so much emotional baggage and feels the weight of his responsibilities, so he keeps his feelings hidden. He struggles to express love openly. On the other hand, Vanessa is one of the most aware characters—she's deeply in tune with her emotions and desires, and she's not afraid to go after what she wants, even if it means facing difficult truths. What makes them different is their coping mechanisms: Nozel represses to maintain control, while Vanessa embraces her emotions to find strength.

50. Free space! Brag on yourself! Advertise your writing! What are you most proud of recently?I’m really proud of Whispers of the Nightingale! a fanfiction set during wartime, and I’ve been diving deep into themes of survival, love, and sacrifice. The characters go through so much, and weaving their relationships into such a harsh setting has been a challenging but rewarding experience. I’m also excited about new ideas I’m exploring in my upcoming dragon story—it’s going to be a long journey, but I’m excited to see where it goes! And I still have Enter the Circus going on!
