Nuremberg Trials
The Nuremberg trials (1945-6), held in Nürnberg (Nuremberg), Germany, were a series of trials involving the senior surviving Nazis to hold them accountable for waging war and committing war crimes and crimes against humanity during the Second World War (1939-45). 22 Nazis were tried, with 19 found guilty and sentenced to either death by hanging or lengthy prison terms.
The first Nuremberg trials were conducted from November 1945 to October 1946, and then, a second phase, which involved a much larger number of defendants, was conducted from November 1946 to April 1949. The Nuremberg trials were the first in history where the victors in a war sought to make senior figures from the losing side accountable for their actions. The trials were filmed and contributed greatly to our understanding of how WWII was conducted and revealed both the irrefutable evidence for and enormous scale of such atrocities as the Holocaust. The first month of the trials, the initial proceedings only, were hosted in the Supreme Court Building in Berlin, but they moved on 20 November to the Palace of Justice in Nuremberg. The Palace of Justice was selected because it had been the heart of Nazi show trials against enemies of the Third Reich, the city was the home of the Nuremberg Rally, the infamous annual Nazi Party congress, and the complex had the practical advantage of an adjoining prison where the defendants were detained.
The International Military Tribunal
At the close of WWII, the victorious Allies of France, Britain, the United States, and the USSR, as agreed by their respective leaders at a conference in Moscow back in October 1943, jointly formed an International Military Tribunal (IMT) to bring German Nazi war criminals to justice. There were some calls to have judges from neutral nations head the IMT, but the allied leaders were determined to be directly involved in getting their pound of flesh. The idea of the trials was supported by a number of other nations besides the four main powers.
The panel that would decide the fate of the defendants brought before the IMT consisted of one judge and one prosecutor from each of the four nations mentioned above. The judging panel was presided over by the British judge Lord Justice Geoffrey Lawrence, described by one American lawyer as "like God...Hollywood would have cast him" (MacDonald, 23). The chief Soviet judge was I. T. Nikitchenko, the French lead judge was Henri Donnedieu de Vabres, and the US judge was Francis B. Biddle. The legal proceedings followed the common law practice applied in the United States and Britain. Translators worked in the courtroom, and everyone present had access to a set of headphones. There was a large screen to show the court relevant film clips and statistical information. 250 journalists attended the court sessions, and the whole proceedings were filmed and sound recorded.

In the closing stages of the war, Adolf Hitler (1889-1945), Joseph Goebbels (1897-1945), and Heinrich Himmler (1900-1945) had all committed suicide, but there remained 24 senior Nazi figures whom the Allies were determined to bring to justice. The group was selected not only for their individual roles but also as representatives of particular Nazi institutions. Before the trials could begin, Robert Ley (1890-1945), head of the German Labour Front, committed suicide, and Gustav Krupp (1870-1950), an industrialist who had used forced labour, was considered too physically frail to stand trial. The 22 remaining defendants faced four charges, as expressed in the Oxford Companion to World War II, they were:
Count 1: Contributing to a common plan or conspiracy to wage war
Count 2: Crimes against peace
Count 3: War crimes (e.g. violations of the Geneva Convention such as the abuse and murder of prisoners of war, use of prisoners for labour, destruction of private property, and devastation of property and places with no military justification)
Count 4: Crimes against humanity (e.g. the murder of civilian populations, use of slave labour, the forced deportation of civilians, and the persecution of specific social, political, religious, and racial groups)
Counts 1 and 2 proved problematic to define, and therefore it was difficult to find the defendants either innocent or guilty of them. This is hardly surprising considering the debate amongst historians ever since as to why and how WWII started and how far one should go back exactly in order to discover the causes of WWII, causes which could be attributed in some cases to both the victors and losers. The court essentially considered counts 1 and 2 as involving actions such as breaking international treaties and invading and occupying free countries. Much easier to establish were cases of counts 3 and 4, although even here there was the added complication that the victors had themselves been guilty of what would today be called war crimes, for example, the Allied bombing of Germany, submarine attacks on unarmed vessels, and the Katyn Forest massacre of Polish prisoners of war by USSR forces. Certain facts were taken as given, such as that Hitler had fully intended to start a world war. In addition, such Nazi organisations as the Gestapo (secret police), the SS (Schutzstaffel), and SA (Sturmabteilung) were condemned as criminal organisations.

The judges not only benefitted from the cross-examination of the defendants but also the testimony of around 360 witnesses (including both victims of and members of the Nazi regime) and a huge quantity of incriminating documents, official and otherwise, including indisputable photographs, sound recordings, and films, such as those taken at concentration and death camps. As noted by Dr Robert Kempner, a lawyer who had fled the Nazi regime:
One of the biggest helps to us was the German bureaucratic sense – they kept everything and they even made publications and films and lot of material had been discovered by our Allied search teams. Some of the people like General Governor Frank of Poland was so anxious to show his friend Hitler after the war what he has done that he kept diaries, volumes and volumes and volumes. In fact he had written his own indictment.
(Holmes, 593)
It is important to note, however, that the documentation for Nuremberg was compiled in order to support the legal case that the defendants were guilty of one or more of the four counts (and not to create a comprehensive reconstruction of past events as, say, a historian would do). There was, too, a degree of negotiation between the various national judges regarding particular defendants – the USSR judge, for example, wanted Rudolf Hess hanged while his fellow judges preferred a prison sentence – but there was a conscious effort on all parties to deliberate with as much fairness as possible given the seriousness of the trials and the world's scrutiny of them. To this end, the defendants were collectively represented by a legal counsel, Otto Kranzenbühler, and permitted individual lawyers to present their defence.

Heart Killers day! Feed me, please!
Nothing tells you things are not right more than a sad and quiet Style.
Tumblr media
But also there's no way Fadel or Bison can handle a full stop in contact, they're gonna break for sure.
Lol, normally I love our boys in glasses, but those frames on Khaotung are enormous!
With Joong, may be having some thoughts about a story of a mild-mannered office worker who strips at night...
Tumblr media
... just me?
Oh, I'm glad they're not just killing first - ask questions! Get the truth!
With her own hands?
Oooh, no wonder she trained them as hitmen, if she started out the same way.
Also glad Fadel gave this guy a few whacks, he's still the kind of dude to hire a hitwoman, so there's no way he doesn't deserve it.
I do love the consistent characterization of our boys. Bison gets enraged right away, Fadel compartmentalizes until he can process and let it out. Bison is run by emotion, Fadel is driven by logic.
Nooo, Fadel tears hurt so much!
Tumblr media
This does have to hurt so badly. It is wild how we can all go through things with people where in hindsight it seems obvious how they are manipulating us, but at the time, you normalize it and make excuses.
Oof, this meeting with Lilly where literally everyone is lying to each other while being so surface-level pleasant...
Also, I'm not remotely on Lilly's side in this case, but damn would I love a series where a young woman becomes a hitperson for hire, leverages what she learns to build power, adopts some orphans to train as her squad, and takes down a bunch of powerful men.
Why size differences are adorable.
Tumblr media
Also this is giving me FirstKhao vibes more than KantBison, lol.
Haha, knew they would break so quickly!
Omg, not Kant listing his duplicity as a qualification.
Tumblr media
Shameless.
Lolol, these boys are so whipped, and I love it.
Tumblr media
Such a perfect encapsulation of their relationship:
Tumblr media
But also I love that we have all four of them working together. Way too many shows do the "I will push you away for your own good" thing, and I need more series to say, "nah, I respect the agency of my chosen life partner".
These two turn so many frames into straight up art.
Tumblr media
(Not to minimize the cinematography & direction, but the prettiness sure helps!)
Haha, Bison has a costume kink.
Um, Fadel, you maybe should have mentioned Keen was the shooter before this moment.
A moment of appreciation for this fit on Pepper!
Tumblr media
Rawr.
Haha, not Kant and Bison consistently switching up who's horny in the moment. So Bison is turned on by outfits, Kant is turned on by competency.
Lilly, if you want a good-looking caddie, you got gorgeous right there! Though I do appreciate that she's not dumb, and wants to be in control.
God, First looks giant here.
These plans definitely fall under the category of "romcom hijinks" more than any kind of solid strategy. But I don't mind.
C'mon Keen, see the light!
Omg, not the Titanic debate making it to Thailand.
Not me wishing Bison had said the "draw me like one of your French girls" scene.
They are so fucking cute.
Tumblr media
An empty pool would not be my choice of makeout spot, but they make it work.
Oh, poor Fadel. He just keeps getting hit.
You boys are wrecking me!
Tumblr media
And this is why Style is so perfect for Fadel...
Tumblr media
because he can say, with pure authenticity, "I love you, not despite who you are, but because of you who are".
And for the first time in his life, Fadel can completely fall apart in the safety of someone's arms.
I'm fine. Super fine.
Uh, wow... all the things happening next week!

Himitsu Sentai Gorenger: An Inaccurate Summary
I've experienced so much formulaic children's entertainment in my time - The Famous Five, Doctor Who novels, Power Rangers, Marvel comics, Sweet Valley Twins, Popeye, Rupert the Bear.
I love this stuff. But you've got to do your part to make them enjoyable.
As a kid, I would instinctively and unintentionally extrapolate and add stuff to these stories. I would make assumptions about characters' motives and feelings, without realising I was just seeing shapes in the clouds.
As an adult, I don't automatically do this - but I really must when I consume a load of shallow kids' entertainment.
With that in mind, I've watched 24 episodes of Himitsu Sentai Gorenger - the first series in the Super Sentai series, which would later be adapted as Power Rangers. And I've got a lot of thoughts, not all of which are explicit or indeed remotely present in the show. Indeed, there are some things I strongly believe really happened which are, technically, outright contradicted on-screen.
But I won't let that stop me. Let me tell you the story.
The Black Cross Army is a fascist terrorist group, with a hierarchy of members:
The Führer - the army's leader, dressed in an outfit inspired by the Ku Klux Klan;
Masked Generals - at least some of these seem to be supernatural beings;
Masked Monsters - some are robots, some are augmented human;
Zolders - brainwashed footsoldiers.
The army begins a series of attacks worldwide. The UN responds by establishing EAGLE, a military defense organisation based in Japan.
(I like to think of Doctor Who's UNIT as a UK-based sister organisation.)
Our story begins when the Black Cross Army slaughter EAGLE's top five Japanese bases. In each base, there is exactly one survivor.
These survivors are the Five Rangers - a secret squadron of superheroes. They each react differently to witnessing the murder of everyone in their respective bases.
Red Ranger Tsuyoshi Kaijo is devastated and filled with survivor guilt. He's driven forward only by a need to bring down the Black Cross Army. His grief won't lead to mistakes; he's able to compartmentalise, and put the mission before anything else.
Blue Ranger Akira Shinmei - a loner by nature - is energised by the fight, perversely excited by the simplicity of knowing his enemy. He'll need to learn to rely on his fellow rangers, however.
Yellow Ranger Daita Oiwa, always the clown, retreats into absurdity to overcome his trauma. He limits his hedonistic desires to food.
Pink Ranger Peggy Matsuyama is utterly horrified by her experience, and uses this to fuel a passionate resistance. Her self-control is second only to Tsyoshi's, and her drive is second to none.
Green Ranger Kenji Asuka is only 17 years old, the most reckless and proud of the rangers. With a fragile ego and intense need for revenge, Kenji has a lot to learn.
The rangers set up a secret base, fronted by a curry house. Their commander, Gonpachi Edogawa, works there as a chef to maintain cover. Three women serve as spies - 007, 008 and 009.
007 is Yoko Kato, the most experienced and talented of the three. She sometimes doubles for the Pink Ranger. Her younger brother Taro is particularly close with Daita, helping the Yellow Ranger overcome his trauma through his relationship to this child.
The rangers start hunting down the masked monsters who destroyed their bases, taking each of them down and preventing their latest plans, as follows:
Gold Mask - bombing a busload of children;
Warrior Mask - turning the world into a desert;
Bronze Mask - acquiring a nuclear bomb;
Jade Mask - wiping out humanity with mould;
Poison Gas Mask - poisoning earth's atmosphere.
Next, they take down nine further monsters to hurt Black Cross's operations:
Iron Ring Mask - locating every EAGLE secret base;
Crescent Moon Mask - creating an army of werewolves;
Poison Fang Mask - assassinating an eminent pacifist;
Witch Mask - freezing Tokyo;
Wing Mask - creating an enormous hurricane;
Boat Ear Mask - learning how to create an antimatter bomb;
Silver Heat Mask - burning Tokyo;
Horn Mask - destroying EAGLE bases;
Skull Mask - kidnapping and impersonating eminent scientists.
The Black Cross Army start concentrating their efforts on taking down the Five Rangers. The Führer assigns Sun Halo Mask to this task. Sun Halo Mask is a ruthless tyrant, known for countless atrocities across Africa.
Sun Halo Masks provides five masked monsters with tasks:
Rainbow Mask - capturing the Five Rangers' flying vehicle, the Variblune;
Mirror Mask - destorying five EAGLE power plants;
Black Hair Mask - turning Japan into a desert;
Cyclops Mask - turning children into Zolders;
Sword Mask - buying plans for a nuclear weapon.
The rangers manage to take down all five, and finally destroy Sun Halo Mask himself.
To Be Continued!

Soldiers, poets kings? EXPLAIN 🙏 (@darlenicy )
Sorry, it took me a long time to write but here it is.
This explanation is about a team, how each of them would act in a fight/exploitation situation as we saw so much in the series.
For me, a soldier is someone with a battle strategy, is someone energetic and simple, someone with great morale, confidence and strength, someone courageous who will do everything in his power to defend those they love, a defender.
Bloom has a very strong sense of morality, she will do everything in her power to help others, above all she conveys trust to people, her friends know that she will never betray them.
Musa has courage, she fights for everything she believes in, she fights for herself and her friends, her strength comes from her perseverance. People think that because she is more cheerful and open, she will always be a sweet person with everyone, but the truth is that she is very frank, always says what needs to be said, and will treat others the way they deserve to be treated, she doesn't give respect for nothing, you have to deserve it.
Brandon is strong, he built his mental and physical strength alone, his daily effort is enormous, he works hard to be someone better every day, he wants to evolve more and more, if he makes mistakes he learns from them, hes not ashamed of his "weaker" self.
And Nabu is Nabu ✌️ (I don't know how to explain his lol)
Poets are dreamy and witty, extremely empathetic, but this does not mean weakness, in fact it is their greatest weapon. They are great arguers and extremely socially intelligent.
Stella may not look like it but she is very empathetic, she speaks without thinking and hates hurting other people's feelings without meaning to. As she grew up alone she had to raise herself, her mother ignored her and her father only paid attention when he wanted to look like a good father to the public, she saw all her parents twisted decisions towards the empire, and learned from their mistakes to become a leader and no longer a dictator like em.
Flora, do I really need to explain? Look at her, she is an extremely witty person, her strength comes from her great empathy towards everyone, her morals are unbreakable, her sense of right and wrong is strong, her empathy makes her seem weak but that is all she is not. At first her insecurity and innocence hold her back, but soon these chains are broken and she feels the confidence she needs to stand firm and be able to act.
Helia is an artistic and creative person, he looks at the world with different eyes, eyes full of charm and magic, he is unshakable and a great friend. It's also very similar to Stella, like A LOT. It is because of that many things in common that they were able to create such a sincere friendship.
My Riven is like in canon but with some depth?, this aggressiveness is a defense mechanism that he had to create within himself, he takes time to trust, and he is extremely insecure in his social relationships, but above all he has empathy, he doesn't want anyone to go through what he went through, and he doesn't force others to want to be on his side, Riven gradually wins everyone's hearts, he is a person of his word and honor and would never leave any member of the Winx backwards. (Sorry for the cliche lmao)
Kings, or bette, leaders, are people who inspire, they are people who are soldiers and poets mixed together, and that is why they are so good at guiding roles. Their empathy mixes with their courage and morals, making them able to command and help others.
Aisha was created to be a great queen, to make decisions for the good of her team. As she grew and learned from all the people on her planet, she honed and polished her fighting and command skills. She still needs to learn that all her actions interfere with the group tho
Tecna is a strategist, she was taught that the logical is more reliable than the emotional, so she became capable of remaining calm and finding solutions even in the most stressful situations.
While Aisha is a born leader, capable of charming and gaining the trust of others, she is still stubborn, this charisma influences people to follow her, even if the path doesn't make sense. On the other hand, Tecna doesn't have that much charisma, she's terrible at dealing with this aspect of leadership, but she knows how to identify which fights are worth it or not, so the two take action on each other's weak points, together they become better.
Timmy is able to understand the people on his team well, always knowing how they are doing and listening to them before making decisions, he assesses the physical and psychological state of each person carefully, to know if they are comfortable and well.
Sky is sky, I don't even need to explain.
I explained a little poorly to not accidentally add any spoilers, so it might be a little empty emotionally speaking lmao

Actor, TV host, and Cameron Mathison (“General Hospital”) chatted about his latest endeavors, which include hosting a new game show this summer.
Mathison is known for playing Drew Cain on the ABC soap opera “General Hospital.”
On Sunday, April 21, Mathison participated in a virtual fan event, which was hosted by Coastal Entertainment.
Drew Cain on ‘General Hospital’
Mathison’s character, Drew, is in the middle of a story with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). “I love working with Cynthia,” he exclaimed, prior to noting that he enjoys exploring the darker side of his character lately.
Speaking of Watros, she just scored a 2024 Daytime Emmy nomination for “Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series.”
He also shared that he has a great deal of respect for Laura Wright as an actress, who stars as Carly on the ABC daytime drama. “Laura is an exceptional human with a huge heart and enormous talent,” he said.
Hosting a new game show ‘Beat the Bridge’
He described his new upcoming game show “Beat the Bridge” as a “dynamic, super fun, and big production.” He revealed that it will be airing on the Game Show Network this June.
Great American Family films
Most recently, Mathison inked a multi-movie deal with Great American Family, where he will be doing family films and content for them. “This network is really, really special to me,” he acknowledged.
“It is so nice and you know what it feels like to watch these movies. There is something magical about these films, especially from a family and holiday aspect to them,” he said.
“You can watch these movies with your kids and the entire family,” he noted. “While watching these movies is fun, making them is even better. You are in them and you get to experience all these decorations, the love story, and everything.”
“It is a beautiful opportunity to come in there and have that experience for three weeks, and have that live on forever in film. These family movies are very near and dear to my heart,” he added.
Filming a new holiday movie
Speaking of Great American Family, he revealed that he is looking forward to doing a new holiday movie for them and it will have a “female lead that everyone knows,” and he stated that he is “very excited to work with this actress.”
“My co-star in this upcoming Christmas movie is somebody that I’ve always wanted to work with, and I guarantee all of you know her. I am so excited about it,” he foreshadowed.
In the meantime, he listed his holiday movie “A Merry Christmas Wish,” where he starred opposite Jill Wagner back in 2022, as one of his favorite holiday films he has ever done.
Key to longevity in staying healthy
He stressed that the key to longevity in staying healthy involves “building muscle.” “It’s strength training and resistance training,” he said.
“The key to longevity is not cardio, and it’s not losing fat. It’s about keeping your muscles strong for as long as you can, especially when you get older. Injury prevention and building muscle is key,” he explained.
Mathison on greatest lesson that the entertainment industry has taught him
On the greatest lesson that the entertainment business has taught him, he responded, “We are capable of anything. Our potential is so limited and we can honestly become our dreams, even if it’s the biggest change in the world.”
“Anything is possible and you can live out your dream,” he underscored.
Places that he would love to live in
He noted that he would love to live in such cities as Scottsdale and Phoenix, both of which are in Arizona, as well as in the Greek island of Milos.
“If I could move to the island of Milos in Greece, that would be amazing,” he exclaimed. “Milos is probably my favorite destination that I’ve ever been to on Earth. It blew my mind.”
Remembering his dog Red
Mathison also remembered his late dog, Red, whom he described as his “best friend.” He went on to thank all of his fans and followers that extended their emotional support and outpouring of love during that trying time.
Fan conventions
Each year, Mathison shared that he enjoys doing fan conventions such as Christmas Con. “I’ve been at every one of those… I haven’t missed any,” he admitted. “Even back in 2019, I did it two months following my cancer surgery. I love doing these fan events, and I am always so grateful to my fans.”
Mathison thanks the fans
Mathison concluded by expressing his appreciation for his “General Hospital” fans “from the depths of his heart.”

Moral Orel #39: “Closeface” | November 12, 2008 - 12:15AM | S03E09
This one probably gets my vote for “most beautiful episode”, because it is just so gosh darn beautiful. Does anyone know when those elections are held?
This one takes place at some point before Nature, but there’s not really in a terribly precise place on the timeline. Which, by the way, since I’m on the subject of chronology, I will say this: It’s true: I have opened up a text document in order to work out a chronology for the series, and also have actually pondered the feasibility of creating some kind of chronological watch order or edit or something to that effect. But experiencing the series in the intended order is definitely better than any kind of hypothetical “movie cut” could be. There’s more meaning at seeing a glimmer of hope for Orel’s well-being now rather than before Nature. I only indulge in these things to avoid my real life, my real problems, and also because I've seen the series a number of times and like watching things in different ways, sometimes.
First we’re reminded of previous episodes through a montage of clips appearing on the moon. The flashbacks are from The Lords Prayer, which is about Orel’s first love ending because of a meaningless feud between their respective parents. We also see scenes from Be Fruitful and Multiply, where Stephanie, the unmarried non-believer who runs the sex shop, reveals to Reverend Putty that she’s her daughter. That one ends pretty happily, with Stephanie and Reverend Putty accepting each other as family with some big-ass smiles. Enormous!
Orel is working at Stephanie’s sex shop so he can make enough money to buy a first aid kit, an object that becomes pivotal in Nature. In this scene it’s revealed the reason he’s buying the kit is in case he accidentally shoots an animal. Very funny! Doughy’s parents enter the shop and act like jerks. Jay is in this one, thank goodness, because he voices Doughy’s dad and I can’t imagine anyone else doing that voice. He’s a wonderful jerk. I wonder why.
Stephanie reveals to Orel via a series of extended flashbacks that she had a history with Doughy’s mom when they were both high-schoolers. Doughy’s mom feigned being a lesbian and used Stephanie to get attention by kissing her in public. Stephanie had true feelings for her, and came to coin a nickname for her face when, from Stepahnie’s POV, her face became distorted when she came in for a kiss. It’s a very visual episode; I struggle to describe it right now. Imagine how you can like, put your fingers together and then bring it up to your face and cross your eyes slightly it looks like there’s a little finger-sausage between your fingers? Same principal, but it’s a girl kissing you! EVERYONE IMAGINE A GIRL KISSING THEM RIGHT NOW. AHH! Hits the spot!
Things don’t end well between Stephanie and Doughy’s mom. We also find out that Reverend Putty was a target of the two girls’ “kiss prank”. Towards the end of the episode, Reverend Putty realizes that Stephanie was that girl, and they have a little bit of a heart to heart about it. Reverend Putty says he felt sorry for Stephanie those years ago, and Stephanie teasingly accuses him of homophobia: “Why, because we were two girls?” “No, because she didn’t care about you”. That line, right there, is why Putty is my favorite character. This is such a beautiful moment, that I’m tearing up writing about it right now.
Orel decides to defy his parents wishes and ask Christina to the dance. She visits her at home under the pretense that he’s bringing back Block to Christina’s family. Block runs off before that happens. They share a moment, and Orel sees Christina as “closeface”. Stephanie helps Orel sneak Christina out of the house and they go to the dance. They slowdance under the credits while “Closeface” plays; a wonderful song Stephanie wrote about her past. The song actually was written by Dino, also about his past. He describes writing the song about a girl but he stopped liking the girl and kept liking his song.
44 NIGHTS OF OREL
Tumblr media
This is that thing they did where they played every episode of the show while premeiring the new season, strategically showing old episodes that were relevant to the new episodes in a pleasing order.
"Be Fruitful and Multiply" was the only episode to air between this and the last premiere! Gosh! They really burning off the premieres, aren't they?
Would have been good if I photoshopped Dino and Scott so they looked like closefaces. Damn. I wish I had talent. It sucks so bad being untalented.

Can You Win a Progressive Jackpot with Minimum Bet?
Sorts of Moderate Gold mine Necessities Understanding the requirements for each kind of moderate mother lode is basic, as different games have varying standards. A couple of gold mines should be set off by max-bet players, while others offer versatile section.
Max Bet Essential: In unambiguous openings, simply individuals who bet everything and the kitchen sink outrageous bet are equipped for the huge stake. Here making some waves in and out of town is connected to express rewarding mixes that should be opened with max wagers. Wager Free Triggers: A couple of spaces grant any player to set off the enormous stake, regardless of what their bet size. These games permit everyone an open door, making them interesting to players who need to wager respectably yet aim high. Layered Treasure troves: Various always advancing spaces have layered huge stakes, similar to little, minor, major, and enormous stakes. Habitually, lower-level treasure troves are available to all players, yet the higher payouts may require a greater bet size. This approach permits players on a cautious spending plan the valuable chance to win more unassuming honors while at this point adding to the greater enormous stake. Might You anytime at some point Win a Major stake with Least Wagers? can_you_win_a_jackpot_with_minimum_betsWhile various powerful openings require max wagers for enormous stake capability, a couple of notable games license players to hit mother lodes with least wagers. Coming up next are a couple of striking models where players get an open door at winning huge without put everything on the line total:
Uber Moolah Every now and again implied as the "Magnate Maker," Super Moolah by Microgaming is perhaps of the most notable moderate space from one side of the planet to the other. Super Moolah has a multifaceted treasure trove system, including the Limited scale, Minor, Major, and Uber huge stakes. Famously, this game grants players to win any of these large stakes, including the Uber Treasure trove, with least wagers. Uber Moolah's gold mine can be set off randomly, suggesting that players don't need to wager tremendous aggregates to be qualified, spreading the word about it well with conservative players. Divine Fortune Made by NetEnt, Divine Fortune is another notable opening that offers moderate large stakes across a couple of levels, from Minor to Mega. Despite the way that it enables higher wagers by allowing to some degree better opportunities to greater stakes, Divine Fortune allows least bet players the significant opportunity to win the always advancing gold mine. The large stake is set off by means of landing additional pictures, which can be achieved at any bet level, going with it a respectable decision for cautious bettors. Age of the Heavenly creatures Series This opening series by Playtech offers various titles, each with its unique subject and organization anyway with a typical moderate huge stake structure. Age of the Heavenly creatures spaces offer four degrees of treasure troves: Power, Extra Power, Super Power, and Outrageous Power. Check out koitoto togel These huge stakes can be won regardless of what the bet size, but higher wagers fairly work on the possibilities. Each treasure trove level is heedlessly set off, meaning players at any stake level have a shot, but more unobtrusive wagers might be less disposed to yield the most important level honors. Hall of Heavenly creatures Another top choice for gold mine trackers, Passageway of Heavenly creatures by NetEnt features an always advancing enormous stake that can be gotten to with lower wagers. This Norse old stories themed game has three moderate huge stakes: Little, Midi, and Mega. The Uber Gold mine, much of the time the greatest, can be won with least wagers, but players should observe that greater wagers can extend the possibilities. Benefits and hindrances of Playing for Large stakes with Least Wagers Winning a steadily developing large stake on a base bet is possible, but there are the two advantages and weights to this system.

Reflections on a Year of Reading Filipino Literature
Books: "Monsoon Mansion" by Cinelle Barnes, "Dauntless" by Elisa A. Bonnin, and "In the Country:Stories" by Mia Alvar.
I’ve learned alot from “Dauntless” by Elisa A. Bonnin, mostly about geography in the Philippines. In the book, most of the location was in the rainforests, greenery and beautiful mountains. The Philippines is surrounded by nature, from rainforests to open land. In Dauntless, Elisa narrates a lot of greenery filling the scenes. When Seri was practicing using her bow and arrow, she had to look past all the huge leaves and bushes in the forest to hit the target. And in the book everyone used platforms in the trees to get a better view of the beasts roaming around on land. The enormous trees were helpful when locating, hiding, and creating platforms from the beasts. During the battle with Sarayan and Seri, they were in open land, and open land is popular in the Philippines. Alongside with little villages being in these forests or open land, most of them were close to a water source in the book. The Philippines seems to be the heart of nature, and life in the book and so is for the land.
“In the Country:Stories'' by Mia Alvar, I gained knowledge about the history of the Philippines. In each story she narrates, there are mentions of a large gap between the social classes. Some stories she mentioned were of the past, like poverty being a huge issue among Filipinos then and now. From the book, it seems in the past everyone lived in towns, or rural areas. Everyone seemed to get an education and jobs despite gender. But most of the mothers mentioned in tales were of a stay at home role, and the father working. Nursing was more of a women dominated field, and small jobs that don’t get large pay. There were lots of protests and rebellion against the government and how corrupted they are. Another aspect of jobs were working for richer families as servants, rather than pay they are housed and fed. Like in the story with Mrs. Mansour, her servants were protesting because of the pay and how they were treated unfairly.
“Monsoon Mansion” by Cinelle Barnes, taught me all about Filipino cultures, traditions, religion, and food. Being family oriented is one of the values in tradition, alongside respecting elders. In the book Cinelle deeply hated her step-father who mistreated her mother, but still had to respect him because he is an adult and she is a child. For religion, Cinelle and her family were Catholic, but never attended church. In specific parts of the book, Cinelle would ask God for guidance for herself and family. Also to the Saint Mary statue in her backyard, where her brother was buried under. She would pray to her, and ask for guidance from her dysfunctional family. Breakfast and dinner were mostly talked about through the book, because it’s where the family sat together even if they weren’t on good terms. It would be soup, eggs, rice, chicken, and more, served by the servants. And in the middle of the book, soon the family would break apart and leave Cinelle alone eating at the dinner table. Colorism also exists in Filipino culture, since they were conquered by the Spaniards, the whole beauty standard was to be light skinned, with a broader nose, and thin lips. In order to be accepted by society, Cinelle was the complete opposite of her brother, and she knew in her heart that her mother would choose him over her because of her features.
From “Monsoon Mansion” by Cinelle Barnes, I learned that, in life, it’s unfair.  There are such things in life, like human beauty, some features humans have are considered “better” than others. Another book, “Dauntless” by Elisa A. Bonnin, I learned in life that we are imperfect, and we can’t ignore the poor aspects of us, or else we wouldn’t be who we are. Lastly, “In the Country: Stories” by Mia Alvar, I learned that inside of us there’s little pieces we grasp from everybody in our lives. We are all on Earth at the same time, learning and trying to understand each other.
I learned a lot about social and economic issues. Learned a lot about trauma, and how it can be in different forms, like physical, verbal, indirect and direct. Seeing things from different perspectives really opened my eyes to  things that go unnoticed, or not talked about enough. I really liked diving into different stories and getting immersed into the whole world. I learned about my reading habits, for “Monsoon Mansion” and “Dauntless” I was really absorbed into the text. But for “In the Country:Stories,” it took me more time to be interested in it, because to me it felt repetitive and boring. I think it’s important to see things from a different view, cause we are all different and experience things differently.

Verity
Tumblr media
Lowen Ashleigh is a writer who is struggling financially. She accepts a job offer from Jeremy Crawford, the husband of bestselling author Verity Crawford. Jeremy has hired Lowen to complete the remaining books in a successful series that his injured wife is unable to finish.
Lowen arrives at Crawford home to sort through years of Verity's notes and outlines, hoping to find enough material to get started. In the chaotic office, Lowen discovers an unfinished autobiography that Verity never intended for anyone to read. The pages are filled with bone-chilling admissions, including Verity's recollection of the night their family was forever altered.
Verity is set in modern-day New York City. The story begins with Lowen Ashleigh, the protagonist, witnessing a pedestrian being hit by a truck. Lowen is a writer who is struggling with writer's block and grieving the recent loss of her mother. Her career as a thriller writer is faltering, and her uncertainty only exacerbates her writer's block. Despite being drenched in the victim's blood, she is so desensitized that she barely reacts to the accident.
To her surprise, a stranger helps clean her up. They share a moment of intense romantic chemistry. She soon discovers his name is Jeremy Crawford. He is married to bestselling author Verity Crawford. Lowen respects her enormously for her meticulous research and well-crafted plots. However, Verity has been left incapacitated by a car accident. Verity is an internationally renowned writer, best known for her tactic of writing novels from the perspective of the villain. During a meeting at Pantem Publishing, Jeremy offers Lowen a significant sum to complete Verity's final series of novels. Lowen's agent, Corey, encourages her to accept the deal, but Lowen is extremely nervous about the prospect. However, she cannot refuse the enormous sum that the Crawfords propose to pay her, so she accepts the offer with some trepidation. The narrative then moves to Vermont, the location of the Crawford family home. Lowen temporarily moves in at Jeremy's invitation to sort through Verity's office and familiarise herself with her writing.
However, during her research on Verity's work, she discovers an unpublished autobiography titled "So Be It", which reveals startling secrets about Verity's life. This manuscript disrupts the kind and loving facade that Verity has been maintaining for over a decade. Lowen's perspective in the novel is occasionally replaced by Verity's as chapters of this autobiography appear in full. The autobiography reveals that Verity is a selfish and manipulative person with little regard for anyone else's feelings, rather than the loving mother and wife everyone else apparently knew. Lowen reads this while Verity lies comatose upstairs, which makes her feel extremely uneasy about her discovery. Lowen decides to keep the autobiography hidden from Jeremy, especially when she discovers that it reveals information connecting Verity to the tragic deaths of the Crawfords' twin daughters, Harper and Chastin.
Lowen settles into life in Vermon and builds a relationship with Jeremy and Crew, her only living child. She leads a double life, growing emotionally attached to Jeremy while trying to avoid the judgment of the Crawfords' neighbours and nurses. She also secretly follows the chilling revelations that constantly unfold as she delves further into "So Be It". As Lowen becomes increasingly preoccupied with Verity's double life, she feels a growing romantic attachment to Jeremy. At this stage of the novel, Jeremy has consistently behaved respectfully, unselfishly, and chivalrously in all of his interactions with Lowen. Despite knowing that he is married, she cannot resist her attraction to him. As their mutual attraction becomes too strong to ignore, the two become increasingly intimate. Lowen had to stay in Vermont longer than planned due to financial circumstances and a failed apartment offer. During this time, she had the opportunity to get to know Jeremy and became increasingly disturbed by Verity's presence and the unsettling coincidences that seemed to follow her. Lowen felt like she was being closely watched.
Lowen started writing Verity's remaining books and sent outlines to her agent. She tried to make sense of Verity's mass of papers and notes. However, whenever Lowen was alone in the office, she felt tempted to read more of Verity's autobiography covertly. Every time she succumbed to the temptation, she discovered more unnerving things about Verity's sociopathic and transactional view of relationships. Verity is an obsessive, jealous lover who tried to abort her own twins when she realized she would have to share Jeremy's love with them. It also becomes evident that Verity was directly involved in the murder of her daughter, Harper. Verity believed Harper had deliberately killed Chastin, even though there was no proof, so she killed Harper. Lowen faces a moral dilemma because the evidence had previously remained concealed. She is unsure whether it would be appropriate or ethical to reveal Verity's secrets to Jeremy, or if it would be more compassionate to shield him from the painful truth about his wife, who is both homicidal and mentally unstable.
The atmosphere in the Crawford home becomes increasingly tense and mysterious as Lowen feels constantly observed and notices inconsistencies whenever Verity is left alone. Doors inexplicably lock and unlock, household objects disappear, and devices mysteriously turn off or are set to mute. Lowen is sensitive to small coincidences and values the privacy that locked doors provide due to her history of dangerous sleepwalking. Verity is suspected of being able to move around and not being comatose at all. Crew reinforces this suspicion by accidentally mentioning recent conversations with his mother. Despite this, Lowen's feelings for Jeremy deepen, and they begin a romantic and sexual relationship. These events lead to the novel's climax, where Lowen reveals the autobiography to Jeremy. Jeremy initially refuses to believe Lowen when she informs him that Verity is not paralyzed. However, he eventually relents and agrees to read her autobiography, "So Be It". Lowen anxiously awaits Jeremy's completion of the book, and when she hears him cry out in agony, she knows he has finally confronted the truth about his wife.
Verity remained unresponsive until Jeremy threatened to hand her manuscript over to the police. She then dropped the facade of being unconscious and admitted to being aware of everything happening in the Crawford house. Verity had been pretending to be comatose while manipulating the situation to test Jeremy's loyalty and to try and escape with their son Crew and the funds from Lowen's new books. Jeremy was furious and attempted to strangle Verity for killing Harper. Lowen intervened, warning Jeremy that if he killed Verity, Crew would lose his father. Instead, Lowen suggested that Jeremy force Verity to vomit, making the murder look like inhalation pneumonia and avoiding a criminal investigation. Jeremy followed Lowen's advice, and Verity died a gruesome death, choking on her own vomit.
At the end of the novel, Jeremy, Crew, and a pregnant Lowen are moving out of the Vermont house to start a new life in North Carolina. However, Lowen discovers a letter addressed to Jeremy hidden under the floorboards in her room. In this letter, Verity makes shocking revelations. She explains that she wrote the autobiography first as writing practice and then as a therapeutic exercise, casting herself as the "antagonistic narrator" as she did in her novels. The letter explains that Harper's death was an accident and that she had planned to escape with Crew. The author expresses her love for Jeremy but prioritizes Crew's safety. Lowen panics and destroys the manuscript, deciding not to burden Jeremy with the knowledge.
However, she is still unsure which version reflects the absolute truth - the letter or the autobiography. Lowen ends the novel by questioning whether any of the people involved in the Crawfords' family tragedies truly understood the situation. She also acknowledges Verity's ability to manipulate events.

As an aro who wants a qpr, reading your qpr of Hero and Villain makes me feel wonderful about myself. Especially because I’m ok with my future qpp feeling romantic feelings for me, as long as they respect that I don’t feel romance towards them.
I’m interested in you writing a prequel snippet where Hero comes out to Villain!
Hey there fellow aro! It means so much to me that you like this series
Part 5 may have gotten a little heavy? But I hope you like it anyways
-------
Part 1
Part 2
Part 3
Part 4
QPR, Part 5 (Prequel)
This was all the hero’s fault.
In their defense, it was news to them that the villain had been flirting.
But maybe they should have known. The witty compliments, the thoughtful gifts, the flimsy excuses to run into the hero again and again and again . . . yeah, anyone else probably would’ve seen this coming from a mile away.
It’s just that the hero didn’t see why those things had to be romantic. They complimented their friends all the time. Bought them presents, spent time with them, told them they loved them. Why did everyone act like romance had a monopoly on care?
Why was friendship never enough?
But none of that made a difference right now. Because the villain clearly had other intentions. The hero felt a pang of guilt for every close moment they’d ever shared with their nemesis.
“I tend to find,” the villain said, resting their arms on the balcony’s rails, “that if you lean into the cheesiness, it becomes endearing.”
The hero glanced at them. “How many laws did you break?”
“Surprisingly, not that many. You wouldn’t believe the kinds of things you can get a permit for.”
“Still, I’m sure there’ll be noise complaints.”
The fireworks spelling “[Hero], will you go out with me?” burned in the night sky like glowing colorful candy. A second bout of fireworks shot up, forming an enormous heart.
“So, did it work?” the villain asked, grin as bright as the explosives. “Did I endear you?”
The hero peered over. The villain’s expression was easygoing, their stance casual.
But their eyes betrayed them.
Their eyes held enough hope to flood a citadel.
This was all the hero’s fault.
“Look, [Villain] . . . I . . .”
The light flickered dead on the villain’s face, and the hero felt like a murderer.
“Oh,” they said, voice deceptively calm. “I see.”
“It’s not because of you, it’s – ”
“Please.” The villain’s eyes were cast downwards. Away from the hero, away from the dazzling display. “Please spare me the ‘it’s not you it’s me’ speech.”
The hero faltered.
But then their jaw set. They needed the villain to understand.
“I’m aroace,” they said.
The villain glanced up, brows scrunched in confusion. “What’s that?”
The hero should have expected this. But still, they wanted to groan. Of all the times to pull out the god damned vocab lesson.
“It’s short for aromantic asexual,” they said, suppressing a sigh. “It means you feel little to no sexual or romantic attraction. In my case . . . I don’t feel it at all.” They met the villain’s eyes. “Ever.”
The villain paused for a moment. Was the hero imagining the disbelief on their face?
“So you just . . . can’t fall in love?”
I love so much and so deeply, the hero thought, some days I’m sure my heart will burst from it.
“Yeah,” they said. “I’m just not capable of that sort of feeling.”
Because allos only ever meant one thing when they said “fall in love.”
The villain searched the hero’s face. “Are you sure you’re not just a late bloomer?”
The hero’s fingers curled at the question. The villain didn’t know any better, they reminded themself. They didn’t realize the implications behind those words.
Maybe you’re just a late bloomer. Maybe one day, you’ll mature out of a fundamental part of yourself.
Maybe one day, you’ll be normal like the rest of us.
“Even if I am one,” the hero said, with a sad smile, “do you really want to wait around forever on the slim chance that I am?”
The villain averted their gaze.
“I’m never going to date again,” the hero continued. “I’m not going to get married. So it’d be best if you just try to move on.”
Of course, the hero’s statement was misleading. It made it sound like the hero wasn’t open to anything. But silently, secretly, within their quiet moments all to themself, the hero longed for a QPR.
Something lasting. Something real. Something treasured and special and intimate, that defied the very definition of what a relationship could be.
But that wasn’t the sort of relationship the villain wanted. Even bringing it up right now would just give them more false hope. It would be nothing but cruel.
“Can we be friends, then?” the villain asked, pulling the hero out of their thoughts.
“Sure,” the hero said. But their smile was fake.
They’d done this dance before. The villain would make an honest effort at friendship. They really would. But then, eventually, they would realize that the hero’s continued presence in their life was making it impossible to move on.
And then the hero would lose the villain forever.
They blinked. If they weren’t careful, they were going to cry.
“Okay,” the villain said, sounding relieved. “So long as we can stay friends.”
----
The villain sat in front of their computer, illuminated by its cold ghostly glow.
On their desk sat a bottle of whiskey. There was a tiny pink post-it note stuck to the bottom corner of their screen, covering the digital clock so that they couldn’t see what ungodly hour of the night it was.
This evening had almost been the most devastating fuckup of their life.
What if the hero had been creeped out by their romantic advances? What if they hadn’t believed the villain about remaining friends?
The hero could have disappeared from the villain’s life entirely.
The villain took another shot of whiskey.
So here they were, combing through the internet for every mention they could find of asexuality and aromanticism. They had to make sure they didn’t mess things up again.
As it turned out, there were never-ending nuances to these identities. Hundreds of different perspectives, piles upon piles of vocabulary words, strange new concepts that the villain struggled to wrap their head around.
It was getting increasingly difficult to keep up.
They were currently scrolling through reddit, a surprisingly helpful resource. Some person had started a thread asking the internet if they might be aro.
At least I won’t have to watch [Hero] get with anyone else, they thought, as their eyes drifted over the comments.
Then, their attention snagged on a new word. Actually, an acronym.
QPR.
Great. Yet another thing to look up.
They clicked open a new tab, and typed the term into the search bar.
As they read, their gaze sharpened. They sat up straighter. Leaned in.
This was . . .
But was it actually viable? What if this was too close to romance? What if the hero wouldn’t go for it?
Could the villain dare hope that they had a second chance?
They finished their whiskey, and slammed the empty bottle back down on the desk.
Well, there was no harm in asking, right?

As a BounPrem devotee, I must share one of my favorite little theories called “BounPrem are liars (not really but it’s a catchy tagline so go with me on this)”.
One of BounPrem’s most famous marketing stories is that they didn’t like each other initially. While they didn’t officially meet until their UWMA audition, they first saw each other at a weeklong university culture fair during which they worked at “rival” booths. Prem’s sold pork skewers, Boun’s sold cold milk. They were opposite each other working with about 3-5 other people, so it’s deeply funny to me that Prem says he thought Boun was arrogant and Boun says he doesn’t remember Prem at all. I think we all assume this was a minor thing that they’ve embellished for marketing purposes.
It’s fun because it contrasts what they’re like now.
Y’know, this:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
THAT’S YOUR BLOOD ENEMY, PREM, WHAT WOULD YOUR YOUNGER SELF SAY.
Now, please look at the photo below while remembering every iteration of the “we didn’t like each other at first” fable.
Please look, if you will, at famously good-natured OhmFluke who always liked each other, who have left respectable breathing space between them. And now look at “culture fair blood rivals who needed Sheep to push them to talk to each other” just contentedly leaning into each other.
Tumblr media
This is devastating to your case, Mr. Prem “I was very unhappy when I heard I’d be paired with P’Boun” Warut Chawalitrujiwong.
This isn’t even a shipping thing, to be clear. I just enjoy that they were basically a mirror image of WinTeam from the start. I think they were both individually like “he seems neat!” in their own way, and then when neither of them communicated that in a way the other could understand, they pivoted hard to “WHAT NO I DON’T EVEN LIKE HIM HE’S TOO LOUD/QUIET”. And I find that enormously funny.
My theory is assisted by one of Prem’s versions that goes: “I was telling my friends at the booth, ‘Look at this handsome bastard, thinks he’s so cool,” while Boun’s version was, “I was hungry and one of the girls working at the booth with me said their pork skewers were good so I went to buy some but they all glared at me so I bought a skewer and ran away”. Introvert and Extrovert, classic case of miscommunication.
BECAUSE!!!
Just!!!
Look with me! Look at this adorable, fluffy-haired baby:
Tumblr media
THIS IS THE MAN PREM VOWED VENGEANCE AGAINST.
His Blood Rival of the Milk Bottles.
I’m sorry, I’ll never stop finding their origin story funny as fuck. I love them both so much, and I think someone told them to play up the rivalry angle because it’s good marketing. It’s just so toothless because look at them.
Tumblr media
I’m sorry, I’ll just never believe that their “rivalry” was at all even remotely serious at any point.
Not to mention!!! That shortly after casting was decided for UWMA, Prem who was already cast in Longkhong the Series asked his own agency to send Boun’s headshots to the director so he’d be cast as Kin. Prem also changed his own role so he and Boun would play NatKin, the vaguely BL side pair. Prem wasn’t cast as Nat originally!
I’m onto you, Warut.
Tumblr media
Anyway, there’s no big point to this. I just think it’s cute that Prem’s always had Boun’s back in this industry even when they were barely acquainted. He couldn’t have known they were lightning in a bottle, that their chemistry was off-the-charts the way it is, that Boun would mean so much to him later. I think he’s just got a tremendously good heart, and once he was partnered with Boun, he threw all his energy into supporting him.
And Boun changed for the better because, in his words, he realized that his behavior reflected on Prem, and it helped him evolve into the sweetheart everyone knows him to be now.
They’re just so good and I’m in withdrawal and I wanted to talk about them because I love them the end.

"This is your schedule," said the man who calls himself Mr. Zhongli.
"and this is your section,” said the woman who calls herself Ms. Ei.
I was inches away from walking out of the headmaster’s room when my hand was grabbed by Ms. Ei. "One second Miss L/N, before you leave. Last time I saw you... You were quite... Small. You're so grown up right now, you look like your mother" she gave me a reassuring smile but... Ms. Ei saw me as a child?
"H-hold on, Ms. Ei? You know my mother?—" Maybe curiosity does kill the cat when I was pushed away by Mr. Venti from the office by saying something similar to me knowing "enough".
It's around 1-2 hours before your first class starts so I assume everyone is on their break time. (I have the time of the world to explore this enormous school) you thought closing your eyes walking and entering the cafeteria.
To your surprise, the school was offering different kinds of food from different countries starting from Mondsadt to Khaenriah. What caught your eye was the Katsu Sandwich and Onigiris, specialties from Inazuma since there is no better in this world other than sandwiches! You wondered how are you going to make friends when... You really feel awkward right now... Everyone is staring at you, after all, you are the rumored nerdy girl in the school. They haven't seen someone new for ages ago because it's an expensive international school. Only people who come from high statuses family can afford this kind of place to study.
"Please state your name," the lady in front of me said before handing me my sandwich and rice balls.
"U-Umm. Y-Y/N... L/N" you said awkwardly because you can feel some of the eyes around staring at you. Very much oblivious to the pair of lilac eyes who only had his attention on you ever since you entered this hall.
"H-how much was it?" You were nervous! You don't know how this school works and you can't believe you're already embarrassing yourself just because you're hungry, tainting your first impression image.
"M-miss L/N?! You're an L/N!" She paid her respects to you by bowing her head down before lifting it up again.
"I-is there something wrong with my surname... Miss?" What just happened? Why was she surprised that I came from the L/N Family?
"Miss L/N, don't worry... You won't be paying for any of the foods and beverages here in the school. I'm pretty sure you already knew why" No I don't! Miss whoever-you-are-cashier... You're having so many thoughts about what's happening until someone tapped your shoulders making you look back to who was it.
"You're the new student right?" She's quite short and has blonde hair and yellow eyes.
"O-oh! My apologies, My name is Lumine and you're?"
"Y-Y/N... L/N" you said processing that you're actually making a new friend at this school.
"Follow me, let's eat together before our classes start," She said happily with her eyes closed and I followed her
"Lumine, stop right there. Just who do you think you are?" This is the same woman you saw earlier with the man who intentionally tripped you.
"I-I don't think we know each other..."
"Yes, a commoner like you doesn't need to know who I am," she said while rolling her eyes. "Oh, do you know why I'm here? I'm returning this bowl of ramen because I don't want it"
...
...
...
She just poured the hot bowl of ramen all over you from head to toe. It was piping hot that you could feel your skin burning. You could hear the whispers of the other students.
Maybe Lady Miko doesn't like her at all?
What a trash!
She deserves it for crossing paths with her.
Maybe Lady Miko noticed how her suitor, Ayato was staring at her?
 Oh, you're right!
"That's not very nice of you Miko," Lumine said and started to wipe your body with her handkerchief.
"L-lumine it's okay, I'll just go to the bathroom," you said.
"Oops... I thought this was the trash can. Go off, Lumine. You don't need to help that trash, you by all people should know she isn't welcome here. What happened to our dear top students? Perhaps you had a change of heart?" She said then walked towards the man who tripped you earlier.
"Are you alright?" Someone approached you from the back and wrapped his hands around your shoulders. It was a tall red-head man, based on his looks, he expresses a very cold personality.
"D-diluc!" Lumine's eyes widened when she saw the man intervening with the scene Guuji Yae made.
"Bring her to the clinic for me, Lumine, thank you," He said and proceeded to hand you over to her.
Great, first day on this school then this happened. You wonder what else could go wrong after this. You came across the same said man and overheard their conversation.
---
"That's so awesome Miko~," said the man who owns a pair of lilac eyes.
"So when are you going to say yes about me being your boyfriend? I've been chasing you for 3 years now.. you know" He held her hand and kissed it.
"A-ayato- y-you know that's a little too early! W-we're still studying you know..." Said Yae Miko who's now all red and a little flustered.
---
"What's with them Lumine?" Yeah, what's with the both of them. They seem to dislike you that much by tripping you over and then pouring a hot bowl of ramen on your whole body.
"It's the power couple of the school! Kamisato Ayato and Guuji Yae" Lumine said with her eyes gleaming like the stars. "Kamisato Ayato has been chasing Guuji Yae for almost 3 years now! But everyone sees them as the power couple because no one seems to court Guuji Yae out of fear since Kamisato Ayato confessed his love for her! It's like they're already in a relationship even if Guuji Yae hasn't said yes to him" She added.
"Maybe Miko got mad at you because her suitor was staring at you since you came in here." Ayato was staring at you? But why would she get mad and hurt you physically just by all that?
---
"Looks like your little Miko got a little jealous when she noticed you've been staring at the new girl~"
"Why would she be jealous, Childe?" Ayato finally faced Childe who was behind him giving him a smug face.
"Oh~ probably because you had your eyes towards another girl? Hm?" He added
"She's ugly— huge glasses, thick eyebrows, and a messy hair bun. She's like a girl who can't even do simple makeup" Ayato said annoyingly to the ginger head.
"No she's not, she's... quite amazing" A short response coming from the one and only Diluc Ragnvindr.
"Yeah what the hell was that? Diluc?"
"Childe, you know, he's starting to act cool around the new girl since this man never had a girlfriend," Ayato said provoking Diluc.
"Why did you tell Miko to pour that bowl of Ramen at her? Ayato for god's sake! We're already graduating, I'm pretty sure you don't want to do something that would expel you from this school even if the Kamisato Family has its own shares in this school? What would your sister say if she finds out her brother is bullying someone again? I'm very delighted to know what her reaction would be once she gets to know her brother broke his promise" Diluc said while looking into Ayato's eyes. No signs of compassion were seen on his own and walked away from the school rooftop.
"He actually has a point, you did promise your sister you wouldn't do anything crazy again in your last year of high school... Maybe it's best if you just stop right now. You wouldn't know what the future would give you. Only god knows if the moment you saw her, you fell in love with her? Hm?" Childe said and followed Diluc downstairs.
"Fall in love with a trash like her? Plus I didn’t tell her to do it, she poured the ramen all by herself” Ayato leaned towards the balcony of the school’s rooftop.
“What’s with her anyway? Where did she have the courage to answer me as if she didn’t know who am I? She even had the nerve to call me an inconvenience” He added while staring at this so-called girl coming out of the clinic with Lumine.
(Annoying, very annoying. I’m sorry Ayaka, promises are always meant to be broken. Might as well enjoy this last piece of entertainment given to me by the gods) He thought and ran downstairs to follow his friends.
---
“Ayato is evil! Don’t be bewitched by his looks Y/N!” Lumine said while holding my burnt hand that is now wrapped with bandages.
“He has been known to push people to their limits until their human body can no longer handle it and decided to transfer back again to their local high school... and it looks like you were his new target... Stay strong Y/N... I believe in you... We never had any new students ever again because of him, no one dared to report it because he is from a rich family. Money can sometimes buy everything you know? That’s why he always gets away with it” Lumine said cheering me up with her fists clenched.
“Whatever he is, I am strong so he can come at me anytime he wants and he will fail miserably. All I have to do is hurt his little ego~.” You said while smirking at Lumine as if you have an evil plan on your mind.
“Scary Y/N! Kyaah!” she said as she tries to run away from you.
“I’m just joking Lumine~,” you said and the two of you laughed together as you return to your classrooms for your classes.
 ---
“My name is Y/N L/N” you bowed down in front of your class.
“Now Miss L/N, you may sit on that vacant space next to Mr. Kamisato” Ei smirked at you as if she knew what was between the two of you. Was there really something between you and Ayato? You’re pretty sure that there was none because all he did for the rest of the day is trip you off him and ordered his girlfriend to pour down a bowl of ramen at you.
“Ms. Ei, I refuse to oblige with her sitting beside me” The man raised his hand with a confused look.
“Why is that Ayato? Is there something wrong with a new student sitting beside you?” Ms. Ei gave him a serious look, hinting that he’ll be in trouble if he deny her request since he is her student.
“I... don’t have anything against...her.” Ayato didn’t have a choice but to agree since he saw the glare that Ei gave him.
“If he doesn’t want her sitting beside him then I’ll gladly accept her as my seatmate, Ms. Ei” Diluc raised his hand for his request which made Ei a little happy because she needs to watch over Iliya’s daughter (A/N: Iliya is the name of Y/N’s mother!)
“N-no! I’m very fine with her sitting beside me, no need for her to sit beside Diluc!” Ayato shouted as if he was in a rush before the final decision was made and the whole class is now staring at him because of the words that came out of him.
What?
Y/N is gonna be so dead if Guuji Yae was our classmate-
Suddenly, Ayato wants a trash like her to sit beside him?
Didn’t Diluc save her from embarrassment when Guuji Yae poured down that hot bowl of ramen?
She’s not even beautiful compared to Guuji Yae, she’s a nerd ugly piece of trash
The first day of school and now she’s being a whore towards Ayato and Diluc, what a SLUT-
“ENOUGH!” Ei slammed down the blackboard eraser averting the attention of the students at her.
“Y/N, kindly sit beside Ayato whether he likes it or not”
“O-okay” You agreed with her and walked towards the seat next to his. You could feel your classmates gaze upon you as if they wanted to crush you down.
“I guess you’ll have to see me every now and then for the whole school year. I’m Y/N and this is the first time we ever talk to each other properly” You said giving him a peace sign.
“Ayato, and I don’t like you” He answered you without even looking at you, he just kept staring at the window. Out of curiosity, you also leaned at the window having you and his body near each other.
“You like her right?” You asked him but you didn’t receive any replies from him.
(Tsk... She has a strawberry scent, I thought poor people can’t afford to enroll at a school like this?) He thought to himself completely disgusted at you.
---
Class hours ended before you even knew it and you met an unexpected girl while you were fixing your things at your locker.
“I heard what Miko did to you earlier~”
“No one can snatch Ayato from her”
“I don’t know about snatching someone from her, please leave me alone,” You said without turning your back and proceeded to go downstairs when-
You just got pushed downstairs by the girl talking to you. You’ve been feeling pain from your back to your legs- did you just sprain yourself?
(That really hurts) You thought to yourself.
The girl who was talking to you followed you downstairs slowly until she finally reached you and leaned toward you.
“Poor thing, this is what happens when you fight back against Miko,” she said.
“Y-You! You pushed me down the stairs!” You grabbed her by the collar and slapped her so hard that her face reddened.
“H-how dare you to touch my face!” She screamed that made you worried a little because people are going to look at the mess you got yourself again for the third time in one day.
“S-sara what’s wrong?!” A man showed up, he probably came from one of the rooms, perhaps her classmate. He has white long hair and looks like a gangster?
“YOU!” he grabbed you by your hair.
“S-she slapped me Itto-” Sara whined at him and showed him her reddened face.
“HOW DARE YOU SLAP HER! Let go of her collar Ugly Shit!” You let go of her collar as you could feel your hair and scalp separating from each other. Other than that you also have a sprained ankle you need to worry about.
“E-enough Itto-” Sara begged and he finally let go of his hand to your hair.
“I’ll get back at you for slapping her. Ride by back Sara, I’ll carry you to the clinic” He gave Sara a piggyback ride and left you alone at the staircase.
“Need help?” A familiar voice ranged through the hallway.
“D-diluc?! N-no! I didn’t mean to slap-” Your voice was cut off by him placing his index finger on your lips.
“You’re very much hurt right now and it would be inappropriate for me if I wouldn’t help you right? Don’t worry Y/N I heard everything and your secrets are safe with me” Without hesitating, he carried you in a bridal manner. Your face reddens as you get closer to his face giving you the chance to admire him.
“D-diluc! What will the other students say if they saw us here?”
“What would they say anyway? I’m going to bring you to the hospital and not the clinic you know? You’ll meet Sara and Itto there and I don’t want to leave you alone with them. Only god knows if those injuries would worsen.” He smiled at you and proceeded to walk in the school’s corridors.
You closed your eyes while he was walking with a straight face as the two of you overheard the murmurs of the other student. They are definitely talking about the two of you.
This is new...
I’ve never seen Diluc carry a girl.
I want to have my ankle sprain too so I can get carried by him!
Y/N you one lucky whore!
---
The two of you walked down to the parking area of the school. Diluc helped you get in his car and then drove you to the school’s hospital to treat you for your injuries.
Not being aware of the same lilac eyes that always had his attention on you since the very start of the day. He watches you from afar being carried like a bride by his best friend as he carefully brings you inside. Ayato is truly wondering about what he’s feeling right now about you and Diluc.

This post is going to be fandom-critical and Loki series-appreciative, so get out and block/unfollow/whatever while you can if that's not your cup of tea.
There is a trend in many fandoms of characters who are in opposition to the hero (villains, antiheroes etc) that is critical of the "redemption through death" scenario. The latest that comes to mind is Star Wars, but there are countless examples. The typical in-story narrative is that the villain had committed too many crimes and there is no place for him in the new world where the heroes won, so he's killed off - usually not by heroes but by tragic circumstances that allow him some positive light before the end (Loki in Thor2, Ben Solo in SW). Fans of the character argue that a fully realised, slow redemption would be an awesome storyline, and that it'd be both interesting and refreshing to look at the life post wrongdoing.
So far, no mainstream media has ever done a fully realised, psychologically grounded redemption storyline. Hollywood go-to idea to rehabilitate the villain is to make the villain useful to the heroes and ultimately just "forget" about the initial transgression. The initial bad deed is never looked back on, addressed or analysed except maybe as a funny oneliner. Because addressing shit is hard... And also because, as Loki series has shown us, the fandom doesn't really want to see the true psychologically grounded redemption storyline.
For the Loki series is exactly this: the first time a character must face uncomfortable truths about themselves, to better themselves. This is a process that isn't nice. It's a beatdown after a beatdown. It's humiliating, soul-destroying, there is much kneeling and grovelling and unflattering names. The character isn't shown as pretty and composed, he isn't allowed to wear nice clothes that give him a feeling of power. He feels useless, powerless and messes up a lot, for his self esteem is gone. He doesn't strut around showing off magic feats and yes, almost everyone around him is shown in better light. Because that's what a true redemption storyline is like. It's a deconstruction of the ego. Eventually, it will lead to a stronger and better sense of self, but first we must crawl on the floor. And the fans, who usually overidentify with the character and his background, just cannot take seeing him, and by extension themselves, in that light.
So what does the fandom do?
1) Insist that Loki does not need a redemption storyline. Because he was tortured by Thanos (this is fanon), because he was influenced by scepter (this is still mostly fanon but has a bit more substance), because he was emotionally abused by Odin (this is almost canon). Now before you crucify me - these are my favourite fanons, my go-to fanfiction, I adore them all. But. There is absolutely nothing incorrect or malicious with the Loki series going "You know what? Loki still carved out that eyeball, and I am not going to sit here and "address" the fact that Odin emotionally neglected him, because that's already been shown and is in the past. I am going to postulate that Loki, deep in his core, is ashamed of himself for his deeds, and that bringing up Odin isn't going to solve that shame, and explore how Loki can move forward from there. The story isn't not going to be about Odin or Thanos, who are both gone and dead, it's going to be about Loki -who is the one who gets to live with the consequences."
2) Insist that the series hates Loki and was written specifically to humiliate him. This ties back to my thesis that the fandom simply does not want to see what a true psychological work of a redemption storyline looks like, for the ego beatdown is the essential part of it. This is how the story of Ben Solo would have had to look like, had he survived Star Wars. This is how Thor 2 would have looked like, had we been following Loki and not Thor: Loki being chained by the same soldiers he commanded, being stripped of his armour, being led down the rainbow bridge and into the palace. In that movie, it would have been worse because he had personal history with all these people. In the series he gets TVA's indifferent approach, which should incidentally be easier to swallow.
3) Insist that Loki is not the protagonist of his own series. Apart from this not making an ounce of sense, this reading comes from the idea that only physical deeds are valid storytelling material. Sylvie is stronger than Loki, hence she's the protagonist. Mobius is in the position of power, hence he is more important than Loki. All the while Loki is out there, doing enormous self-work, changing by the hour and showcasing more stable coping techniques. But he's not glamorous while doing it and he's kneeling a lot, so it cannot be that the writers actually like him and wish him to do well in the long run.
4) Insist that the new Loki is OOC and give him a plain, insulting new nickname to differentiate him from the beloved and cool old Loki. The one who liberated eyeballs while clad in impeccable clothes because he was terrified of Thanos. Or the one whose non-existent coping mechanisms almost made him kill his own beloved brother in despair. The one who had plans upon plans and was always so ready for betrayal that he had no friends on his own. The one who would surely glamour awesome clothes onto himself to avoid signalling any weakness. The one who was incredibly high strung and could never allow any weakness. You guys want that Loki back? Ok, that's fair. That guy was deeply damaged, and very interesting to watch. But then, a story that takes these aspects from him (and make no mistake, all of them are maladaptive and trauma induced - all -of - them) isn't hating on Loki, or making him dumb, or exists to hurt you personally. It allows him to overcome his internal hurdles, lower his defences and eventually arrive to a better place.
So here I rest my thesis: actual well written redemption stories, of which Loki is the frigging first (and how groundbreaking is that) aren't really wanted by the fandom. Most fans would rather whitewash or cocoon themselves in the trauma aspect, leaving the actual responsibility and consequences out of it. Which is fine as a comping mechanism, fiction is escapism after all, you're all perfectly valid... But there should at least be enough self-awareness to differentiate between a good story that's uncomfortable/too heavy for you and a bad story with evil writers who either have no idea about Loki or specifically want to punish his fans.
The Loki series isn't the latter. It might not be the fantasy escapism most would have preferred, but it has a very specific and respectable goal and it's going about it in a grounded way which is - actually - fully respecting of Loki as a person. I swear that the series sees him as more capable of doing the work he needs to do than his own fans.

Tom Hiddleston and Lily James Talk Justice for Pamela Anderson and Why Loki Works so Well on TV
For “Downton Abbey” alum Lily James, 2022 has been a year of glamour and drama. She took on the role of Pamela Anderson in Hulu’s “Pam & Tommy,” which looked sympathetically at Anderson’s attempt to be taken seriously. Tom Hiddleston’s work is similarly multifaceted in “Loki,” where he plays Marvel’s trickster god, who’s gone from “Avengers” villain to lead of his own Disney+ series; Hiddleston also stars in Apple TV+ historical drama “The Essex Serpent.”
TOM HIDDLESTON: I thought your work was extraordinary. Taking on a real person feels like an enormous responsibility.
LILY JAMES: It’s terrifying, isn’t it?
HIDDLESTON: You want to honor and respect and —
JAMES: I felt like if I came at it with heart, and a total desire to be honest, that was all I could do. I don’t know if I’d do it again anytime soon. I felt that desire to do her justice.
HIDDLESTON: Where do you begin with becoming Pamela Anderson?
JAMES: I just had pictures of Pamela everywhere. And then I had these prosthetic boobs and forehead. It took four hours every day. And during that time, I had a montage of her interviews from the ’90s, and I would learn it like a song. The pitch and the rhythm. She speaks really, really fast. I stayed in her the whole time.
HIDDLESTON: People on the crew, did they ever get to know Lily James?
JAMES: I don’t think so. Nor Sebastian Stan. We really didn’t get to know each other till we started doing press. And the days were so long, 18 hours or so. I find that the Americans are worse with long days than us. I found that so hard. How has that been with you and “Loki”? It was probably long days, getting into him.
HIDDLESTON: Loki’s changed so much over the years for me. I was cast when I was 29, and I’m 41.
JAMES: Credit to you for having let him emerge and grow and shift.
HIDDLESTON: Initially, with the wigs and the costume, I was always trying to break out of the mask. Let something honest come through. By the time we got to the series, Loki’s stripped of all the things that are familiar. Immediately, he’s literally stripped and put in a jumpsuit, and his status is gone. Everyone knows who the character is now. Let’s open him up and find new aspects of him and challenge the character to change and grow.
JAMES: I was reading, which is so exciting, that Loki is the first queer Marvel character.
HIDDLESTON: In the MCU. Back from my early days of researching the character in myths, the identity of Loki was fluid in every aspect. In gender, in sexuality. It’s an ancient part of the character, and it hadn’t emerged in the stories we’ve told. It’s a small step. There’s so much more to do. But the Marvel Cinematic Universe has to reflect the world we live in. Extraordinary character, in a way, to contain so much.
JAMES: I got to watch “The Essex Serpent.” I want to know about that first meeting with Claire Danes.
HIDDLESTON: There is a meeting between my character and Claire Danes’ character, and it’s kind of unusual. It’s 1893 and she’s out on the Essex coast digging around for fossils. She runs into this very faithful and God-fearing community, and I play the pastor.
JAMES: The landscape, it’s so beautiful and atmospheric. Why did you want to do that job?
HIDDLESTON: It seemed very romantic in an old-fashioned way, and yet really earthbound. I just wanted to jump in.
JAMES: Obviously, it’s very different from “Loki.” Is that a purposeful choice you make?
HIDDLESTON: It couldn’t be more different. I read it towards the end of making “Loki.” These characters are all struggling because it’s a time of enormous change. The age of reason is coming, and religion is going to diminish. It’s a psychological, poetic piece, and I loved making it, out on the marshes in Essex.
JAMES: When you are somewhere real and you are out there in the landscape, even if you are freezing cold …
HIDDLESTON: You put up with it. With Claire, I would be a weatherman. I kept pitching that spring was coming, and that U.K. weather wasn’t always this bad.
JAMES: “It’s going to be nice!”
HIDDLESTON: So every day, we’re like, “I know it’s cold and it’s quite wet today, but next week, just you wait.”
JAMES: But you wouldn’t really have wanted the sun. Something feels so brooding and troubling. And if the sun had shone through the clouds, it might have slightly ruined the temperature.
HIDDLESTON: There was one amazing day where the sky and the beach were the same color gray. Claire and I were walking towards the tide, and I said to her, “This is like walking into a Rothko painting.” It was like being on the moon. I couldn’t believe it was England.

SNK keeps on being amazing. ( A rant that is not really one. )
Tumblr media
133.
Just this panel alone is able to confirm everything that I wanted from this manga.
Eren's condition has always been what I suspected.
Ever since he sided with his brother Zeke, who manipulated Marley in attacking Eldia to retrieve the founder and other titans. Something THEY DIDN'T WANT TO DO, because they were being pressured by many other countries and were not as powerful as before due to their lack of powerful weapons like the ones in the Middle Eastern Alliance which were able to PIERCE through the fucking Armored Titan.
Tumblr media
THIS resulted in the fucking festival and we know what happened then. Dozens of people died including children continuing the cycle of hate that has been started for god knows how long. And Eren WILLINGLY took a part in it because he wanted his actions to be a little easier while he was going to genocide the whole fucking world.
INCLUDING his own island because let's be honest when Eren is done with the Rumbling, destroying every ecosystems. EVERYTHING that keeps a planet alive, his little island won't live for long.
"The ground... It's crying." CHAPTER 131 said by one of the goddamn kids he fucking killed.
Marley is now sure, let's fucking kill all Eldians.
He did his attack on Liberio, he betrayed everyone. Crushing Hange's every possibilities of finding a peaceful way of settling things down after having been hidden MANY useful informations by Eren, Zeke and his group but also the Azumabitos.
Sparking a civil war inside Eldia, leading to an Eldian supremacist group cause let's be honest when Floch killed that Marleyan and than gave his little first king Fritz speech, it was like seeing Hitler all over again and the Klux Klux Klan.
I MEAN... FLOCH OF ALL PEOPLE! A guy who has PTSD after seing dozens of his comrades died, their faces exploded by fucking thrown rocks. He bastardized Erwin's ideologies and no matter how good willing he was, he was just a dead man walking acting like a fool.
He also betrays his own party now, the Jeagerist by allowing the very people they tried to stop the power to stop him. By activating the Rumbling, he also caused the death of Eldians inside the walls as we've been shown with Hitch.
AND THE WORST... destroy every connection he has with his friends. Hurting them, putting them in danger by the very group he created and the Titans.
Oh but that's not all...
He uses the titan the same way Marley did it, with oppression and violence. He is not stopping the cycle of hate, he is continuing it. And it will have repercussions inside the very group of people he tried to defend.
People killed each other inside the walls and they will kill each other without it. Mikasa as shown us that when her parents got murdered and she almost became a slave.
And he killed Hange with these same titans. I don't care if they sacrificed themself. He didn't live up to what he preached. They died and Hange was someone close to him and was concerned with his well being. Maybe it was too late but they also had many other priorities as Hange was commander. They also fell into depression because of their position. One of his mentors and friends, one who tried to talk with him while he was in that cell planning to destroy the world...
talking to himself...
Tumblr media
At this point, you know where I'm going with this. We've all suspected it, we all know it. Let's not be blind about it.
Eren is influenced by the Attack Titan. Not Ymir (at least I hope so and I think so), not Kruger and certainly not Grisha.
It's pretty clear now.
I mean Eren's change happens off screen, every time we see him he is completely different from what we used to know of him.
He barely cares about his friend and don't give me the bullcrap of (hE dOeS tHiS fOr tHeM.) If he was he would have secured them and put them in a place where they wouldn't interfere, he would have tried to convince them. HE WOULD HAVE COMMANDED FLOCH NOT TO HURT THEM.
He would have not commited genocide after knowing what it led to with Reiner, Annie and Bertholt.
That's not Eren. And the stupid argument of "hE's aLwAyS bEeN vIoLeNt". That's just bullcrap and it just destroy every bit of beautiful empathy we have seen of him. With Mikasa, Armin and Historia. Levi who he respected a lot.
It just isn't coherent. Every action he does is not coherent since the timeskip.
NOW HE'S CHALLENGING HIS FRIEND ? WTF ?
I mean is no one questionning this, doesn't it seem off from what we've seen of him.
Eren is no strategist BUT... he isn't stupid. Every sane person would know that these actions will not benefit anybody.
But... they still happened.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
If we look back again, here is Eren being positive trying to put Armin in a good mood.
The outside world... endless possibilities. It's a man who wonders.
Yet, AT THE RIGHT MOMENT... he has a flashback of Faye. And his face just change.
Isn't it just weird ? Like at the right moment where he can have a positive outlook on thing. NOPE.
And this has been going and going and going...
Here:
Chapter 130.
Eren arrives in Liberio what does he see.
Tumblr media
A flashback of his mother's death
I mean it's pretty clear now.
_________________________________________
Eren has been influenced and convinced by the Attack Titan that there's no way out. He's been reliving past memories of his and others, past memories that were traumatic. It put him in a state of depression and dread through 5 FUCKING YEARS. On top of that, he is able to see the future and what he saw will happen and has happened hence his reaction to Sasha's death.
A fucking mental breakdown.
Jesus Christ, I don't know if I've ever cursed that much in my life.
It's impossible to stop what is going to happen, because what is going to happen, needs to happen.
But as we know Sasha is in the afterlife with Erwin, Hange and the others. And we have been confirmed that this is the afterlife. So we have time-travelling, afterlife, 13 years curse, people who can turn into titans, parallel dimensions and Eren who can see through birds.
But the fandom said, no, the prospect of him being manipulated by the Attack Titan is impossible even after knowing it has special abilities.
I MEAN...
Tumblr media
Umm... This has happened before. And I saw no one complain.
So why this ?
Tumblr media
Is impossible ?
Especially when Eren's whole arc is about questionning his perspective of the world and becoming in control of his violence and rage. Having an agency. HELLOOOO!!!????
What better way of having the main threat of that being the very thing that causes all of his problems and his powers.
Doesn't this remind anyone of anything ?
Yep. The Uprising Arc. And who ? Historia, the girl whose all life, she couldn't act as herself or have any real agency.
Yes, you know the girl whose pregnant and decided to live the rest of her life Little House On The Prairie style. ( I mean I don't think it's her but... that's what it's looking right now. )
And who is a descendent of Ymir Fritz. With too much uncanney similarities between the two.
Tumblr media
They could have said the Founder, Eren Jeager or something else but no they said... "It's the Attack Titan."
And it's not Ymir, if she was the one to control Eren. Why wouldn't she free herself on her own if she's able to do that ?
And in 131, she was clearly in a position where she was questionning her choice.
And perhaps she probably tried to stop Eren but the Attack Titan took over him and her. Using her powers as she is the founder.
And now just like Eren, she has no eyes. She is still a slave. Why ? I thought Eren freed her. So ? This is the only logical explanation right now.
I mean when is the last time we saw Eren.
He was sleeping inside his titan in 131. Having a dream about seeing his "sight" of freedom as a kid. And also potentially watching things with birds.
It's just weird. If he was fully in control, the characters wouldn't have questionned it and none of this weird shit would be happening.
He clearly doesn't have a free will.
This requires too much energy and Eren is a normal Eldian, not one of Royal Blood. Being both in Paths, watching this " sight ", communicating, watching with birds, moving his titan which is enormous and the thousands of colossal titans is clearly hard and too dangerous for only one person to do.
Isayama has fooled us all and me in the process.
All this time, it was that goddamn thing pulling the strings. And with the help of Isayama since he is the goddamn author of this series
In chapter 88, we learn the true meaning of Shingeki No Kyojin.
The beauty of the japanese language, as confusing as it is, can be translated by Attack On Titan, at least for us american and western audiences.
( yes because as someone pointed out in the comments, it's a mistranslation but since I don't understand how to give credit by linking because I don't understand how it works, i can't credit. So you can find the person in the comments. DO NOT JUDGE ME, tumblr is not the best place to post sometimes. )
But it's not the Attack on Titan anymore.
Tumblr media
It's the Attack Titan.
( piece of shit is it's surname. )
