Ni-Ki sighed, realizing that he couldn't keep his feelings a secret any longer. He looked at you, who was still dancing, and then back at the members. "Okay, okay, you caught me. I think I… I might have feelings for Y/N."

The door to your dorms shared bathroom slams shut stealing your attention away from your phone. Quickly, you grab the change of clothes you had prepared before hand, throw your phone safely onto your bed and rush out of your room. The bathroom was directly across the hall from your bedroom so it took you only a second to latch onto the bathrooms handle and swing the door open. "I'M SHOWERING NEXT" you yell to make sure all seven of your roommates heard you.

"WHAT?! WAIT-" One of your roommates, Jake began as he rushed towards the bathroom from his bedroom down the hall but you quickly shut the door just as he reached it. Jake started pounding on the door. "Y/N IT'S MY TURN TO USE THE BATHROOM!" he yelled.

"You snooze you loose Jake!" You laughed from inside the bathroom. You heard one last bang on the door before what sounded like Jake stomping back to his bedroom. Laughing to yourself, you began your routine. Being inside the bathroom you failed to hear the profanities falling past Jake's gritted teeth as he walked away.

Over in the living room, Jungwon and Sunghoon laughed at your and Jake's usual antics. "Next episode?" Sunghoon asks the younger boy cuddled next to him as his laughter calmed. He lightly waved the TV remote in front of the younger boys face.

"I can watch one more, then I'll go to bed" Jungwon says sitting up and reaching for his cup of water on the coffee table in front of them. While Sunghoon was focused on playing the next episode of the show, Jungwon decided to check up on the other members seated across the room on the other couch.

He looked over and smiled softly at the sight. Jay was seated in the middle of the couch with Sunoo cuddled up to his right arm. Both of whom were focused on a video playing on Jay's phone. To the left of the two older men was Ni-Ki. He was laying on the ground with his feet up on top of the couch cushions.

"Okay it's ready, should I press play?" Sunghoon asks Jungwon and Jungwon turns back towards Sunghoon. Jungwon nodded, scooting closer to Sunghoon and reattaching himself to the older man's arm.

03:02am

Around thirty minutes later, Jake storms out of his bedroom and starts pounding on the bathroom door again. "Y/N COME ON YOU'VE BEEN IN THERE FOREVER! HURRY UP ALREADY-" Jake complained from outside the bathroom but he falls silent when he hears the sound of multiple objects falling and a loud thud from inside the bathroom.

Jake starts pounding on the door harder. "Y/n? Hey Y/n are you alright?! Y/n answer me! Y/N!" "JAKE WILL YOU PLEASE STOP POUNDING ON THE DOOR AND YELLING!!" Heeseung yells, emerging from his bedroom across the hall. His drowsy demeanor indicating he was just woken up.

"Hyung I heard things fall and a loud thud from in the bathroom and Y/n isn't answering me! I think something's wrong!" Jake says frantically and the new informations seems to jolt Heeseung awake. He walks over to Jake and knocks on the bathroom door. "Y/n!! Unlock the door!! Are you okay?" Heeseung asks but he's answered by silence.

"Hyung I don't think they're okay! What do we do?" Jake asks frantically and Heeseung tries to calm down the younger male. "I'll try to get the door open, you go get Jungwon and tell him to call the manager" Heeseung instructs and Jake nods. Jake turns and heads for the living room but just as he turns the corner he collides with Sunghoon.

"Sunghoon what's wrong?" Jake asks once he noticed the worried look on the other man's face. "It's Sunoo, he wouldn't wake up when we tried to get him to go to bed and his heartbeat is really slow" Sunghoon says fiddling with his hands anxiously. "WHAT?!" Jake screams grabbing Heeseung's attention.

"Jake what's wrong? Get Jungwon I can't open the door on my own!" Heeseung says but Jake doesn't hear him as he rushes into the living room. He's met with the sight of Ni-Ki and Jay trying to shake Sunoo awake while Jungwon paces back and forth on the phone. Most likely talking to the manager.

Jake rushes over to Jungwon and grabs the younger by the shoulder. "Jungwon are you talking to the manager?" Jake asks, a cold sweat running down his face. Jungwon doesn't miss Jake's worried demeanor and immediately takes a moment from his call. "I just got off the phone with him, I'm talking to the paramedics" He says and Jake points towards the bathroom.

"Y/n is locked in the bathroom, I-I heard things fall and a thud and Y/n won't answer!! Heeseung Hyung is trying to open the door" Jake explains as best he could through the panic and Jungwon's eyes widen. "Don't tell me..." Jungwon mutters as he pushes past Jake and rushes towards the bathroom.

Heeseung is rattling the doorknob to the bathroom, pulling and pushing to try and get it open. Each time he calls out to Y/n and is met with silence his panic grows. Just as Sunghoon was going over to ask Heeseung what was wrong Jungwon runs up to them and grabs the doorknob. He pushes on the door. It only rattles and shakes but won't open. "Oh god oh god...." Jungwon rambles before putting the phone back to his ear.

"Hello? Yes there's another problem, we have another friend trapped inside the bathroom, it's locked from the inside and we can't get in. We think they collapsed too" Jungwon explains as calmly as he could to the medical worker on the phone, ignoring a confused Sunghoon and panicked Heeseung.

"Okay I understand. Yes, thank you, please hurry" Jungwon says before hanging up the phone. He shoves his phone into his pocket and begins kicking at the corners of the bathroom door. Heeseung grabs the youngers shoulder and spins him around to look at him. "Jungwon!! Was that the paramedics? Are they coming?" He asks as calmly as possible.

"Yes! Yea- yeah they're on their way, they said to break down the door if I have to because we don't know what's wrong with Y/n" he explains and Heeseung nods. "I'll help" Sunghoon says and all three men start kicking at the bathroom door trying to get it open.

The constant barrage of force made the door rattle and shake and it was clear it was slowly but surely loosening from it's hinges. Jungwon delivered a strong kick to the top hinge of the door and it flies off the corner of the wall. The door was being held by its bottom hinges and just as the three were about to barrel into the bathroom Ni-Ki runs into the hallway.

His eyes were glossy with tears that threatened to fall and he looked pale. At the same time the dorms front door flies open and the peramedics rush into the dorm. "SUNOO HYUNG ISN'T BREATHING!!" Ni-Ki screamed and the three men's hearts sink. Two nurses carrying a stretcher rush over to Sunoo, Jay and Jake in the living room.

Another set of nurses rush into the hallway and finish break down the door and rush into the bathroom. They immediately call for a stretcher and check Y/n's pulse and breathing. The frantic calls for the other medical workers to hurry didn't ease the members worries. Amidst all the commotion the older males failed to notice Ni-Ki having trouble standing.

A medical worker noticed and rushes over to the young boy. "Hey kid what's wrong??" The nurse asks Ni-Ki. "I-It's hard t-to breathe-" Ni-Ki heaves holding his chest and latches onto the nurse for support. "Oh no... SOMEONE GET ME A PAPER BAG AND TAKE THIS KID DOWN TO THE VAN!! HE'S HYPERVENTILATING!!" the nurse yells drawing Jake's attention from the living room.

Jake shoots up and rushes towards Ni-Ki and the nurses surrounding him. "Here, help him hold this and walk him outside the building to the van" The nurse instructs Jake and another nurse that brought them a paper bag. The nurse instructs Ni-Ki to hold the bag over his mouth and try to breathe into it.

"Come on bud breathe...breathe" Jake tries to sooth Ni-Ki as they leave the dorm and head downstairs. The other members follow closely behind as Sunoo and Y/n are rushed out on stretchers. Once everyone is downstairs the members are called to the side by their manager.

"Manager-nim! We need to go with them- We need to-" Heeseung rambles. "Heeseung! Heeseung calm down! I know you boys aren't going to stay here no matter what I say to try and convince you" the manager explained and points towards the parked car. "Go on, get in" the manager said. Heeseung stood wide eyed staring at his manager in surprise.

"Come on Hyung let's go, they're driving off" Jay says, grabbing Heeseung's arm and leading him to the car. Jay, Heeseung, Sunghoon, Jungwon and the manager all climb into the car. "Wait where's Jake?" Jay asks turning around to the scan the back seats in search of the missing Australian. "He's in the ambulance with Ni-Ki" the manager says driving off after the ambulances.

05:13am

Your eyes flutter open and you're met with a hazy darkness. Only after repeatedly blinking do your eyes adjust to the darkness around you. "Where...am I?" You ask but your voice comes out hoarse and dry. Slowly you push yourself up into a sitting position. A glass of water beside you catches your attention and you immediately reach for it. Only now do you realize how thirsty you are.

"Hey sleepyhead" you heard someone say to you making freeze momentarily. You slowly turn your head to your right and gasp when your eyes find your band mate Sunoo sat up in a bed next to you. "Sunoo? What- what're you do here? Where are we?" You ask lowering the glass of water into your lap.

"We're at the hospital" he says nonchalantly. Your eyes widen and immediately you scan the room you were in, the faint moonlight illuminating the room making it easier to see. You were in fact, in a hospital room, sitting on a hospital bed. "What the hell happened?..." You mumble, holding your head because of the headache that just now decided to make it's presence known.

Your hand comes into contact with an unfamiliar cloth wrapped around your head. You feel around the material, confused and concerned. 'What happened to my head?' you question in your thoughts before turning to Sunoo. He was hooked up to an IV Drip bag. He looked tired and extremely pale. You didn't know whether that was the moonlight playing with your eyes or not.

Sunoo turned to you, taking in your concerned and worried expression. He already saw the IV you were also hooked up too and the bandages wrapped around your head. He had woken up maybe twenty minutes before you did and accessed the situation after the initial shock went away. It took him a few minutes to fully remember what happened for him to end up here, but he had no idea why you were there too. And that worried him.

"I was watching videos with Jay Hyung-" Sunoo began explaining to you. He had your full attention. It worried you more why he was in here than why you were here. "After a while I realized how tired and weak I felt. I tried getting up but couldn't move a single muscle, my eyes had already gotten a bit hazy but I didn't fully realize until then. It was really hard to breathe too. I was panicking but couldn't move at all. Then I passed out." Sunoo rubbed his hands together softly.

"The worst part was knowing I couldn't tell anyone before it was to late. Then I woke up in here and saw you here with me" Sunoo finished, sighing heavily. Just as he finished your headache grew stronger and a flash of memories flew through your mind. You remembered what happened to you after you entered the bathroom. "Are you okay? What's wrong?" Sunoo asked seeing your painful expression.

"It's nothing. Just a headache" you said. Not wanting to worry him more than he clearly already was. Sunoo wasn't completely convinced. "Do you know why you're in here?" He asks scooting closer to the edge of his bed so he could be closer to you. You set the glass of water back on the table beside you and moved closer to the edge of your bed as well.

"I had just went to the bathroom to get ready for bed-" You explained leaning back onto the wall behind you.

- Flashback -

I laughed to myself when I heard Jake stomping back to his bedroom. It was always fun teasing him. He was like an older brother to me. One I made it my mission to annoy at least thrice a day. I set aside my change of clothes, hung my towel and undressed. I took a shower, singing to our most recent title track while lathering my body in soap. It was stuck in my head, I couldn't help it.

Halfway through the shower I begin to feel slightly light headed so I made a note to get out as quickly as possible, which I did. It was odd how weak I was feeling but I decided it was just tiredness. I quickly got dressed. After adjusting my night shirt I leaned forward onto the sink. Was it normal to feel this exhausted after taking a shower? I thought.

Pushing it aside I grab my toothbrush and brush my teeth. Once I was finished rinsing my face I looked at myself in the mirror. It was foggy. I wiped the glass with my hands but the fogginess stayed. I realized my hands also looked slightly foggy. I rubbed my eyes, squinting into the mirror afterwards. Everything was still foggy.

I stepped away from the sink and looked around the room. Wait is the room spinning? What's that sound? I heard a faint noise coming from somewhere near me. It was muffled, almost drowned out by the growing ringing in my ears. Is that...knocking? No banging. Where's it coming from? I turned towards the bathroom door. A voice reached my ears but it was faint, inaudible. I couldn't make out what was being said.

I take a step forward towards the door. Raising my hand, reaching out towards it. The room's tipping... No not the room... It's me, I'm falling... Wait I'm falling what- The only thing I felt was a strong pain at the right side of my head,it shooting through my entire skull before everything went black.

You sighed turning your head towards Sunoo. He looked at you with worried eyes. Sunoo reached his left hand out towards you. You threw your legs over the side of your bed and stood up. You rolled the stand with the IV over to the space in between your and Sunoo's beds. Sunoo was confused at first but understood what you were doing. He shifted to the other side of his bed, allowing you to sit where he was previously.

Sunoo pulled the the thin covers over both of you. He put his left arm around your shoulder, pulling your head to his chest. You leaned in, scooting as close as possible to him. You both sat there in silence for a few minutes, the moonlight from the window adding to the peaceful atmosphere. Suddenly Sunoo spoke up. "I wonder how the other's are doing" he asks. "Do you think any of them are also here?" He looked down at you.

You remained with your head on his chest. "I would hope not. I'm sure they're all fine though, there's a lot of beds in here, I'm sure they'd be in here if they weren't okay." You reassured him and Sunoo hummed in understanding. Silence over took you both again. The only sounds being your soft breathing. With your head on Sunoo's chest you could hear his heartbeat. The steady drumming slowly began lulling you to sleep. In a matter of minutes you found yourself lost in Dreamland.

08:43am

The faint sound of voices fills your ears. At first they sound far away but seem to be getting closer the more you try to listen. You slowly awaken, eyes fluttering open. You immediately shut them again the brightness of the room being to much for your retinas. You hum, finally opening your eyes again. The first thing you see being Sunoo staring down at you. "Good morning sleepyhead" he smiles softly stroking your head.

You smile tiredly, a yawn freeing itself from your throat. Slowly you sit up, eyes scanning the brightly lit room. "You're awake" You heard from your left. Immediately recognizing the voice you turn your head and you're met with the face of your leader. Deep dimples accompanying the soft and relieved smile on his face. "Jungwon what're you doing here?" You ask. "I couldn't sleep last night. None of us could. So after convincing Manager-nim we came back" he explained, rubbing his thumb over your hand gently.

"All of you?" You ask and Jungwon nods towards the other side of the room. Across the room were Jake and Heeseung. They were cuddled together in one of the hospital beds, fast asleep. You snickered to yourself at the sight. Those two never were morning people. "The others are here too. Sunghoon went to the bathroom-" Sunoo began but was cut off by the door opening. "We're back and we-" Jay and Ni-Ki entered the room stopping frozen by the door when they lock eyes with you.

"Oh my gosh-" Jay mumbles scrabbling over to your bed. He places the pastries he and Ni-Ki went out to buy on a nearby table and rushes over to you. Jungwon moves over so Jay can have more space to stand. Jay engulfs you in a hug. You could feel him trembling around you. You lifted your arms and returned his hug, gently stroking his back. "I'm so glad the two of you are okay..." Jay says, trying to stop his voice from shaking. He pulled away and looked down at you teary eyed. You smiled and softly patted his shoulder.

Jay moves away from you allowing Ni-Ki to occupy the space he stood. You looked up at the boy who refused to meet your gaze. Your heart softened at the redness under his eyes. He must've been crying all night. You opened your arms, smiling gently at the boy and it only took a few seconds for Ni-Ki to be in your arms. Ni-Ki trembled in your arms, the sound of his sniffling breaking your heart. He pulled away sitting on the edge of the bed next to you.

He held onto your shoulders, squeezing them lightly as he spoke. "I was so worried about to two" he sniffles. "Jungwon Hyung said *hic* you had blood on y-your head and neck when they f-found you" the boy stuttered and your eyes widened. You turn to Jungwon and he nodded. "You passed out and hit your head on the sink on the way down" he explained to you, eyes glossing over at the memory of seeing your body on the bathroom floor.

You turn back to Ni-Ki and pull the boy into a gentle hug. "I'm okay now Ni-Ki, so you don't have to worry okay" you say softly, stroking his back. Ni-Ki nodded against your shoulder. Sunoo patted the younger boys head gently, smiling softly. "We both are" Sunoo said. Jay glanced at Sunoo for a moment. Sunoo had woken up before you again when the boys arrived. They explained what had happened to you both, including how he stopped breathing for a while.

The news made Sunoo shiver. After a moment of silence he asked the members not to tell you. You were very protective of Sunoo knowing the history of his health and even his health situations now. They knew you wouldn't take the news well. Sunoo especially didn't want to risk the probable chance of you neglecting yourself to take care of him. You already struggled with caring for yourself as is. He couldn't live with himself if he was the reason behind it.

"Y/n's awake?" Heeseung's sleepy voice sounded from across the room. He rose from the bed, rubbing his eyes tiredly. Jake slowly sat up at the loss of Heeseung's warmth. When his tired eyes connected with yours he spring up, running over to you. You ushered Ni-Ki off you and no sooner you did Jake wrapped his arms around you and Sunoo. You both giggled softly at the boys puppy-like behavior.

"NEVER. Scare us like that again you two" He said as he pulled away from you both, a frown on his lips. "I don't know what I'd do if I lost any of you kids" Heeseung says with a fake sniffle, holding his chest dramatically. "Is this everyone?" Seon asked.

"Twenty three, is that all of us?" Jay added, looking around. Just as he said so, the number stuck on the screen turned to fourteen.

"What?" the room was filled with the confused sounds of the I-LAND contenders.

"Why is it suddenly fourteen?" Sunoo asked to no one in particular.

"Ooh, someone's coming"

"Unnie, I don't want to go in first, I'm nervous," Haneul said, stopping just before we step into the contestant-filled room.

"Do you want to go first?" Alice asked Binna, the oldest of the bunch.

"That room is filled with twenty-three boys, it's kind of intimidating," Binna chuckled nervously, earning Haneul and Alice's agreement.

Without uttering a word, I stepped forward and entered the lit up corridor, leading our way into the room. Immediately, I noticed a large fourteen displayed on a screen behind where the contenders sat.

The murmurs and surprised reaction from the boys were very much audible, and I find myself getting nervous again. We gave each other bows and the girls and I stood in one line.

"Here they come," Rain smiled. "Do they know that there was going to be girls as well?"

"No, not really, but they know that we'll send some really interesting trainees," Bang PD explained. Everyone had signed a contract before joining so they should be fine."We found that co-ed groups have not been doing that well so we really want to debut one that will hopefully succeed."

"As you can tell, there's mostly male members, because the girls aren't set to debut. All of them can get eliminated as well and we'll be left with a boy group, we have to see if this will work well or not," he added.

"Co-ed groups are hard, usually people specialise in either a boy or a girl group," Zico commented.

"That's true, we hope that we can see great potential through I-Land. Co-ed groups could bring so much to the table."

"They're girls," Youngbin muttered with wide eyes, having a hard time believing what he was seeing.

"Wait, are they the 'interesting trainees'?" asked K, and was met with an abundance of 'ah's.

"I didn't think they would be this interesting, though," Jay thought out loud. Nevertheless, he was excited. He heard rumours that there would be an ex-YG trainee, and from the looks of it, he had a feeling that it was the first girl who walked in.

"I was quite surprised that there were girls but there aren't many co-ed groups so I'm excited," Byeon EJ said in his self-camera.

"Having girls could add a different charm into the final group," Taki commented in his.

"The girls could provide a colour that we probably can't show."

I knew I needed to keep my head up, I couldn't let anyone know that I was nervous, not on the first day. Unfortunately, as I was standing on the lit up floor, all I could do was stare at the large fourteen.

Girl, is this what YG taught you?

I mentally sighed at my self conscious. I've been training at YG for more than two years and I can't even do their most important lesson, eye contact.

Okay, you can do this. You are the baddest bitch out there and you will only debut if you stop being nervous.

Now.

I decided to make eye contact with the first guy I see, which was the one wearing a brown flannel. Oh, I should have never done that.

He's. So. Cute. Fuck.

I adverted my attention back to the screen as I tried to contain the smile and flush on my face.

Great, now I might look like I'm trying to hold in my laugh, and everyone can see it.

"Della is a top trainee. Singing, rap, dance, everything," it's no secret that Bang PD was excited to have so many talented individuals on the show. "She trained in another company for more than two years. She's been with us for five months but is incredibly talented."

"Her aura is very cool, very confident. I'm expecting a lot," Rain nodded.

"They're really pretty," Daniel said in awe, followed by a chorus of 'pretty', 'so charismatic' and 'really pretty's.

Sunoo saw the first girl who walked in suck her cheeks and purse her lips, looking as if she's about to burst. It looked like she was either trying to hold her laugh or blush.

Yet the red tint on her face confirmed that it was a blush and he found himself smiling at her endearingly.

"They look very hip," Jimin commented, feeling slightly nervous at the charisma flowing out of the group.

Heeseung observed all of the girls. They were all wearing denim shorts but had different vibes and styles.

The one who looked like the youngest had long, light brown hair and wore a long sleeved crop top. She gave off an innocent and girly vibe.

Only one of them had short hair, she was also the only one who wasn't wearing a crop top. Her face supported a small smile and she had an elegant feel.

The next one had a vibe that reminded Heeseung of Red Velvet, he couldn't really understand why. Her hair was pulled into a ponytail and from where he sat, he could see her hands shaking. 'If we're nervous, I can't imagine how she feels,' he thought.

The last one was the first one to enter, therefore the first one who caught everyone's eye. She was the tallest, with black-brownish hair. Her eyes were sharp and she was the only one who stood in a relaxed manner. She had a girl crush feel and he definitely felt the room get intimidated by her looks.

Oddly enough, he wasn't. He found her absolutely adorable.

Note to self; do not look at flannel guy during your performance.

The girls and I watch as the boys scoot over to make room for us and we found ourselves sitting next to a guy wearing mostly white and a striped shirt.

"Woah, it's warm," I stupidly blurt out when I felt the 'seat' warming my thighs and butt. All the girls and some of the nearest guys laughed out at what I said.

Stop being embarrassing you stup-

"Let's do this," Alice said and held my hand, which I noticed was shaking.

I looked at her, concerned. We've known each other for as long as I've started training, we even came from YG together. I know about her anxiety and lack of confidence. 'I'm okay,' she mouthed with a small smile.

"Is this actually all of us this time?" I heard someone say. After a few moments, the room turned red and the floor started moving, surprising my easily startled self. I held Alice's hand tighter, making her chuckle before she rubbed her thumb against my hand.

The floor can move, how cool is that?

A voice boomed out of the walls and explained the task at hand. I watch as the rules make everyone nervous and determined at the same time.

Self voting? That's just harsh.

"What if their votes are based off of comparison?" Haneul asked us after it was revealed to be an individual test. "If I do well but not as well as unnie, I can get eliminated," she explained.

"Oh sh- oh my, yeah," I replied. "Let's just hope they're not biased"

The first participant, please go to the stage.

"Should we go f-," I was cut off when I saw one guy making his way to the stage. "Okay, second or third," I mumbled.

Suddenly the stage started moving towards the entrance, which amused me a lot.

"Yo, the stage just moved," I excitedly said to Alice. She looked at me with furrowed eyebrows.

"We took that to get here, though?" she said, confused. I froze and thought about it.

Did we..?

Binna laughed and Haneul pinched my cheek. "How else did you think we got here, we didn't even walk," Alice added and realisation struck me.

Stupid flannel boy making me look like an idiot. I hope they don't broadcast this.

"I swear, you're not older than me," Haneul smiled endearingly as if I was the youngest one.

Well it's not like I mind, she doesn't even call me unnie.

We stopped and paid attention to the boy who went up first. He did his greeting and started his performance shortly after.

Seon was good but he was definitely tense. He had to perform by himself and had all the attention on him.

Poor guy, I'm definitely voting for him.

So I voted for everyone, big deal. It wasn't like my vote mattered that much anyway. Besides, if they were all here then the producers must find them worthy of being in I-Land.

Remember how I said I wanted to go second or third? Well somehow we found ourselves being the final unit. We almost went third to last but Binna said that if we're going to go later, we might as well be the very last one, good point.

We saw so many great performers (who are all very attractive and idol-like, how is that possible?) and find ourselves losing confidence as more went up to the stage. The quota for I-Land is very limited for this many talented people.

On top of that, flannel boy (who I learned was named Jake) went just before us so I'm currently a blushing mess who needs to calm down, fast.

For fuck's sake, when was the last time I even blushed? This is embarrassing.

"Which one is it?" Alice whispered, making me blush even more. I hid my face in her shoulder and whined. She chuckled quietly before rubbing my thigh. "It's Jake, isn't it?" Oh I can definitely feel her smirk.

"Shut up," I hit her arm lightly. I felt my cheeks calm down and paid attention to the three boys on stage again. The voting had just finished and the staff is helping them remove their microphones. 

"I can't believe we're going last," I sighed, staring at the minus two. Everyone will be more picky, what if none of us gets through?

"It's okay, let's do our best"

Niki watched in anticipation as the stage transported the girls. He knew of the rumours. He knew that there would be two ex-YG trainees competing, and he had a feeling that one of them was the first girl who entered.

"I wonder what they'll be performing," Hanbin voiced. "Maybe a girl group song?"

"I think it might be something strong," Riki replied, sitting on the edge of his seat from anticipation.

"Ah, I'm really curious," Jay said to Sunghoon.

"There's not that many co-ed groups, no?" Sunghoon asked, looking at the girls who were getting their microphones set up.

"Exactly," Jay whispered and watched as the girls make a line, all set to go.

"Alice and Della have been training for over two years but Haneul and Binna have only been trainees for around a year," Bang PD informed. "They have great potential."

"I really can't wait to see their performance, we have a potential co-ed group here," Zico commented.

"They are the last group, though. They must be very nervous," Rain added.

"Hello!" the girls greeted and bowed all together. Each of them stated their names and age before making their way into position, all muttering a small 'fighting.'

Della crouched down and looked over at Alice, whose eyes were already at her.

"You got this," Alice whispered.

"You own this," Della encouraged back with a smile. She turned her attention back to the front and let out a deep breath.

Let the performance begin.

The speakers blasted the intro to Stray Kids' Miroh and Della felt her mind go blank and enter stage mode.

She kept her eye contact and switched from boy to boy, making sure that everyone was enjoying their two-minute performance.

As her part came up, she could see the shock written on the boys' faces. It wasn't only because she was rapping to Han Jisung's part, it was also her charisma.

The impressed looks kept going as she sang to the chorus, revealing that she can sing as well.

A series of 'woah's were clearly heard as they watch Della borderline flirt with the audience, with them.

They finished strong and Della could feel her mind slowly regain consciousness as she stared into Youngbin's eyes for an 'ending fairy.'

"The one wearing the cardigan is crazy," Jay whispered loudly. Whoever could hear him all agreed, it was truly a successful performance on Della's part.

If there was one thing that went on in the guys' minds, it was "Kang Della will definitely debut."

“HEY! Why would you just pull my hair tie like that? You think it’s easy to do a proper ponytail??” Dasom, the character (y/n) plays as, chides her romantic interest, Seokwoo, who only laughs with amusement.

The members of Enhypen find themselves entertained as well with Jungwon pointing at the TV screen.

“Wah~ She’s not even playing a role. That’s (y/n) as (y/n) herself right there,” he comments and only smiles cheekily that shows his dimples when (y/n) shoots a playful glare.

The scene continues with Dasom chasing Seokwoo around in attempt to retrieve her tie and (y/n) can only hide in her palms from the embarrassment. It’s the typical, cheesy ‘catch me if you can!’ scenario and it makes her—and some of the others’—toes curl.

Riki stares at the screen, almost burning through the glass with the intensity of his gaze. “Who even is this guy? I’ve never seen him before.”

“Really? He’s actually quite famous in the web drama world. Might even do bigger projects soon,” (y/n) answers after giving only a brief look at him as she wants to focus on the screen.

Riki grumbles disapprovingly before he slumps back into the couch with crossed arms.

Dasom starts panting as she rests her hands on her knees. “I give up! I can’t run anymore! Just give it back to me, will you?”

Seokwoo hums with his brows furrowed, pretending to be deep in thought before uttering a single, “Nope.”

Not the best decision because suddenly Dasom’s back to being his tail, faster than before and right when he sees him about to accelerate, she quickly pounces.

Sunoo squeals while the others lets out their roars and whistles when the scene goes into slow motion—showcasing the romantic moment between Seokwoo and Dasom with the former wrapping his arms around the other’s smaller frame to protect her from the fall.

“Oh my goodness,” (y/n) mutters under her breath and her cheeks grow redder than they already are, head hanging with shame. “Dasom should seriously consider the cost of hospital bills.”

“Ugh…” Seokwoo grunts painfully, his back sore but he’s quick to check on the wellbeing of the girl pressed against his chest. “Dasom, are you okay?”

Dasom lets out a faint groan before lifting her head to nod but is met with surprise at the proximity of their faces. She gasps, eyes wide as they shift between his. Left, right, left and right. Her face mantles as she bashfully looks away.

“OHHHH!! (y/n), what is thisss!!?!! Do you actually like him?? Why do you look so shy and and blushy~??” Jake teases as he holds her by the shoulders and shaking her vigorously. She’s limp, passionless—spirit fleeting from the unhealthy amount of cringe she feels.

Now she understands why some actors don’t like to watch their own acting.

Sunghoon frowns, disapproving of the excessively touchy interaction between (y/n) and some wannabe A-list celebrity. “Why are you two so close for so long?? He should’ve helped you up at this point.”

Jay agrees, his brows in a soft knit. “How long does this go on for?”

“Hey, what’s wrong?” Seokwoo asks obliviously when Dasom refuses to meet his gaze, finally sitting up and letting her sit on his lap.

“Your breath stinks,” Riki hisses quietly, hoping Dasom would say the exact line while still throwing daggers to the male with his incessant glare.

The girl shakes her head. “N-nothing. We were just so close…that’s all.”

“oH?? OH?” Heeseung sounds excitedly when Seokwoo cups her jaw to gently turn her to face him. Something between a shout and a squeal escapes him when Seokwoo smirks. “He’s making a move on our (y/n)!!”

“Her name’s Dasom,” Ni-ki corrects with dissatisfaction and the others don’t miss their male maknae’s obvious dislike towards the actor.

“Close? You mean like…this?” Seokwoo teases and suddenly narrows the gap between their faces—noses now touching as Dasom’s eyes grow wide as saucers.

It’s like a whole audience of the World Cup is in the dorm from how rowdy and passionate the boys are—all howling and cheering like they’ve singlehandedly won the game for Korea.

“S-Seokwoo?” Som stammers nervously as her romantic interest’s gaze melts into her like a man truly in love.

But the thrilled chaos from the members dies just as quickly as it forms when they see their female member gradually being approached by her co-actor—closer and closer to a dangerous extent.

Some of the members have their jaws unscrewed while some others are screwed on too tight but eyes are all burning through the screen intently as a mix of emotions swirl in them.

Are they going to see (y/n) kiss? How are they supposed to react? Should they cheer? Should they grieve?? Maybe they shouldn’t react at all?? Like that bite scene between Sooha and Jay where they just completely cut it out in the reaction vid.

BUT THIS ISN’T A REACTION VIDEO.

Sunoo’s hands are covering his face with only his eyes seen peeking out from the little gaps between his index and middle finger—creating two V’s.

Meanwhile Riki is full on DISGUSTED, along with Sunghoon who’s so conspicuously scowling at the TV with arms crossed as he leans heavily against the couch. His tongue clicks against the roof of his mouth as he lasers through Seokwoo with his stare of distaste.

“Wait, wait, wait… You have a kiss scene? You didn’t tell us. Aren’t you too young for a kiss scene?” Heeseung raps out, completely disregarding the fact that her role as a high school senior does not reflect her real life character and age.

(y/n) stays quiet as she stares at the drama, letting the suspense build up with the never-ending inching of Seokwoo and Dasom and right when their lips are about to touch, Sunoo shrieks and the scene stops.

The outro of the drama plays as the names of the actors and sponsors begin to roll—(y/n) now giggling and clapping like a seal with delight at her members’ frozen figures and faces.

“It’s finished!! How was it?” She asks amidst chuckles and they all whip their heads to her.

“What was that?? Did you guys kiss or not??” Jake asks curiously.

“Eyy~ Can’t be~” Sunoo denies with upturned eyes and a playful grin but then shifts his honeyed orbs to the girl. “Right? Right, (y/n)ie??”

“(y/n)’s taking a step forward in her career already! Are you going to win rookie actress of the year?”Jungwon applauds with a chuckle, dimples showing. “Don’t forget about us, though! Haha! No, seriously. Don’t. And you were so cute too, (y/n)!”

Sunghoon shakes his head with another click of his tongue, furrowing at (y/n) but she knows he means well—to her, at least. The same can’t be said about Seokwoo’s actor. “How old is he? Isn’t he much older than you? Why’d they make you have a kiss scene? Manager-nim actually let it pass?”

(y/n)’s mouth is akin to a fish’s from their constant open and close due to Sunghoon not letting her squeeze a single word in with every new question.

“Yeah, that was kind of…unnecessary,” Jay chimes with his nose scrunched but then ruffles the girl’s hair. “But it is cute. You did great! Can’t wait to see the next episodes.”

“As expected of our (y/n),” Heeseung coos and earns a gag from some others—including (y/n) herself. But she’s quick to express her thanks with a beam and a finger heart.

Riki scoffs as he crosses his arms. “I don’t really like the male lead. He seems kind of dumb. Why would he steal your hair tie, anyways? He can buy his own.”

His attitude is saltier than the seas and the members are deeply entertained by it.

“It’s just the plot, Riki,” (y/n) answers in a tone of amusement to which he unconsciously pouts at.

Sunghoon stands and abruptly engulfs the girl in his arms with his head on hers as if him hugging her will magically erase Seokwoo and Dasom’s embrace from existence. It’s not new to the members for him to be so protective over (y/n). Maybe it’s the big brother blood in him but he’s always wary of anyone and everyone around her that he gets teased for being her security guard alongside personal assistant.

“Tell us whenever you have a role like this again. We have to make sure there aren’t any weird scenes, okay?” He advises, swaying left and right softly as she nods with difficulty from the way he’s practically squeezing her against his chest.

And suddenly it’s a Q&A session with the boys asking her about her experience while a bitter Riki can only watch from the sides with Jay chuckling at him—earning him a glare.

As if Jongseong himself isn’t already planning to read her future scripts himself (with Sunghoon) to make sure there aren’t anything too…kissy kissy even if it’s a near miss—for now, at least.
