Kinda hate how people are riffing on Enchanted Portals so hard.

It was made by 2 people with zero funds who just loved cuphead so much that they wanted to make their own game inspired by it. It's the literal definition of a passion project and people are shitting and spiting on it.

The fact they even finished it and released it at all is much more than any of us ever could. And the hypocrisy of people saying they want more games or people making games who actually care and are passionate and than there's these 2 people trying their best with literal dirt and people trip them, kick them while they're down, and go haha.

Make your own game with no money and than well talk.

Day 7 - Enchanted

To be graced by their beauty every day of your life was nothing short of a blessing. No one truly understood how they worked, but it didn't seem to matter. What they symbolized was clear, and these people would always be enchanted by those sprawling fields of yellow flowers.

Every cut, every injury was sure to be infected with nothing but good, and from it would blossom one of those flowers. Always to be treasured. Always.

Funny how some people are rilled up about Black getting enchantment destruction. They argue it is a violation of the color pie and undermining the color's weakness when you have been experimenting with it since 2019 with Mire in Misery, with Pharika's Libation and Feed the Swarm as recent premier set examples. It is even funnier when you consider a vocal part of the players have begged for white card draw for *years* because it was a weakness of the color in Commander, then they finally got It and complained that it wasn't as good as other colors' card draw. White also recently got Reprieve, which is stronger than Remand. No one seems to remember that colors gain and lose access to effects over time: blue lost ping/direct damage and eventually got vigilance, black had rituals and now has some enchantment destruction, green does a lot today but was all over the place in the game's infancy. Maybe it is time for another color pie article focused on the flow of effects across colors?

I'll add it to the "short" list.

quiet, quiet !!! centre stage, lights dimmed, audience hushed. my fame dr is essentially me winning the metaphorical acting olympics while everyone else is still lacing up their shoes. it’s, like, a line-up of roles so iconic, so overpowered, it’s like i’m thanos snapping my way through hollywood history. i wanted the cookie, and i baked the whole bakery.

here’s the rundown.....each role is a slice of cinematic perfection, OKAY, served with a side of "how does she do it? why does she do it?? how many oscars do you need??" energy.

　꒰ 2002. . . ' PONETTE ' as ponette. — picture a four-year-old (shut up) absolutely devastating audiences, grappling with grief and holding onto the wisp of hope that her mom might waltz back from the afterlife. tiny me..... heartbreaking. oscar-worthy. a pint-sized tour de force !!!

　꒰ 2006. . . ' LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE ' as olive. — quirky underdog vibes. a beauty pageant dreamer dragged through chaos on a family road trip. big glasses, bigger heart. adorable chaos incarnate.

　꒰ 2007. . . ' LÉON: THE PROFESSIONAL ' as mathilda. — street-smart, sharp-tongued, and navigating grief and revenge. turned “child assassin vibes” into a genre.... unlikely bond with a hitman? groundbreaking.

Welcome to Tolkien Horror Week! This is a new event, following in the footsteps of Terrifying Tolkien Week, last run in 2019. This event celebrates all things spooky and creepy in Tolkien's work—both the things he tells us explicitly and the things he leaves up to our imaginations.
