Do You Ship This MCYT Pairing?

Submitter Reason:

I think most people assume this ship exists because "Jimmy has two hands" (and he does, totally valid) but for me I enjoy this ship because it allows me to explore the potential dynamic of Scott and Tango. There's the obvious fun juxtaposition of one of them being ice coded and the other fire but the two actually have quite a lot in common; they both love building games for their friends to play, for Tango this is complex redstone powered games and for Scott it's adventure-mode escape rooms; they both created self-sacrificial story arcs for their characters practically at the same time, with Scott sacrificing himself at the end of Empires S1 with the Rune Blade, and Tango at the end of Hermitcraft S8 blowing up the moon and left stranded in space. Both took these actions in the hopes of saving their friends. Even Tango had his blue haired ice theme going in HCS9 completely unrelated to Scott's icy theme of EmpS1 (albeit very different interpretations of an ice theme). And they both seem to enjoy bringing up their past partnerships in the life series with Jimmy, Flower Husbands and Ranchers, both two more ships I love and the reason why I'm not just making this a MajorTek submission though I do also ship them too. I love basically any combination of these three.

Summary:

Tango cannot pass up the chance to finally get out of the empire he’s lived in for as long as he can remember. So when his father invites him on a trip to Rivendell to help an old friend, Tango is excited to go. But after meeting the grieving prince he’s told about, things begin to take a turn. And as it turns out, his father has life changing news he needs to tell him but has avoided doing so.

Taking place in an alternate universe similar to empS1, the story of how the 4th heir of the Wither Rose Empire, Prince Tango, meets the newly appointed sole heir to the throne of Rivendell, Prince Scott. Part one in a much larger flower-rancher centric story set in a royal fantasy setting.

Writers dropped the ball feels a little mean because it's like, his whole thing but i just really really wish he'd had the chance to stand up for himself and be respected instead of whatever the fuck happened with fwhip and the salmon. thhrows up. there are definitely characters i project way more onto but jimmy has a very specific thing projected onto him that makes me like insane and dizzy to think about and the worst part is it wasn't even projection he's just like that. also i think he's cute

Gem Watcher Huntress AU:

When Gem joins Hermitcraft, it's the first time that she has seen Pearl since the Rapture in EmpS1, almost a millenia ago. And the first time Grian and Pearl have seen Gem in centuries, since Gem, well, tried to hunt them down as watchers.

HC8 isn't the first time Grian and Pearl reunite, since when Pearl escaped the watchers, some time after Grian, she has stayed on his private world (I'm basing this on the fact that Grian mentions Pearl helping him with the mansion desing in season 7). He extended the invitation to join season 8 to her.

So, the first day of season 8, is a day of several mixed feelings for the SkySiblings.

OKAY OKAY CRACK SHIP TIME BC I ACCIDENTALLY MADE A CROSSOVER AND GAVE MYSELF BRAINROT-

Sausage from emps1 ends up in hc after the end of his episode (CLASSIC) and them him and burnt-out-gifted-kid Xisuma bond over both feeling like they have to earn their friendships and presence and THEN they fall in love. Xisuma watches on while his boyfriend and Grian team up to blow stuff up and cause chaos

anon i'm gonna level with you, the only person i actively watch that you mentioned was grian KSDGKF. all i know about sausage and xisuma has been through absorption via friends or other people's content (and i def know more about sausage and have watched a few of his videos).

If your wondering why Red Gem is scary it’s bc in Empires season 1 she got corrupted by Xornoth somehow and a streak of her hair turned red now she didn’t really do anything but be stubborn like really stubborn but it’s bc Xornoth didn’t have that much control over her at that time but since Secret life!Gem is more unhinged than EmpS1!Gem it’s scary what she could do…

sometimes i think about how in emps1 the community looked at shrub and lady katherine, who had hardly any interaction, and decided they would be cute together cus hehe mushrooms x flowers, and then cut to emps2 where a great witch named shelby was fighting with a pirate joe who was bisexual for a princess monster hunter.

how did we go from an ooc “oh yeah!! that’s really cute, i support it :)” to a canon “hey wanna go out on a coffee date”. empires the realest smp ever

so i had an au/hc where starquest!katherine was s1 and s2 emps katherine, where after emps1 died she arrived in starquest and worked to restore the villages to prove herself after abandoning her empire and then was given new life as emps2 katherine to continue restoring villages

for starstorm i didn’t apply that concept but now if i do starstorm is canon but only to me and i think thats funny
