#emmett and riley bond

synopsis: human!reader is paul’s imprint (very much ignoring each other at this point because of tensions between the wolves and cullens) and they get sent to seattle to pretend to be a married couple and spy on victoria and riley at a nightclub. they get back to the hotel and realize there’s only one bed, bickering and fluff ensue

“why don’t we just send emmett and y/n?” edward suggested and you choked on your drink at the thought, shaking your head. you all were gathered in the cullen’s kitchen, all of the cullens plus bella, jacob, sam, and paul were currently in attendance while you discussed sending a pair up to spy on victoria and riley in seattle.

carlisle spared you a sympathetic glance before turning his attention back to edward, “we can’t send emmett. she knows what all of us look like.” carlisle explained, the rest of the vampires letting out sighs. you rolled your eyes, getting up and going to the fridge to get a bottle of water while everyone threw out some more ideas.

“why not y/n and paul?” sam suggested, both you and paul making choking sounds at the thought, “she doesn’t know what either of them look like and you know paul wouldn’t let anything happen to y/n.” sam explained and you looked over to carlisle who seemed to be pondering it for a moment before nodding.

it was well known at this point that you were paul’s imprint, something neither you nor him seemed to be too appreciative of seeing as the tensions between the wolves and cullens were pretty high as always. unfortunately, the imprint bond resulted in both of you needing to be near each other most of the time or else you’d end up in an unreasonable amount of emotional pain over the separation. 

you were fuming with him when you found out, both of you now unable to have any kind of meaningful romantic relationship with anyone outside of each other because of the tether binding the two of you together as “soulmates.” 

“i think that’s our best option at this point. you two should get ready. i’ll book a hotel room and you two can take the volvo up there, you’ll need to leave soon if you want to get there tonight.” carlisle explained and you whined, looking over to paul who looked just as disturbed as you by the whole idea. 

“did you put this idea in his head?” you asked paul who shook his head, scoffing at you.

“you think i put the idea in his head? i’m not anymore interested in this then you are princess.” paul rolled his eyes and you huffed before heading upstairs, alice following shortly after you to help you pack a bag. 

while she packed your bag, rosalie came upstairs to explain the plan to you, “do you know what you’re supposed to be doing tonight?” she asked as she took a seat at the vanity in your room and you shook your head, “so carlisle and sam need the two of you to go into the trinity nightclub and you’re going to have to act like you like him. it’s a couple’s club and they’re gonna kick you out if you’re acting like you hate him the whole time. if anyone asks about your relationship, you got married last fall and your name is y/n lahote, got it?” she explained and you huffed, nodding, not at all excited about the idea of being paul’s wife for the night.

“victoria and riley should be there. do not interact with either of them - carlisle and sam just need the two of you to get eyes on them, paul should be able to hear anything they’re talking about so you just need to make sure that you’re playing the part. it shouldn’t take too long and then you two can go back to the hotel. as long as nothing else happens you two should be good to come back in the morning then, okay?” she asked and you nodded, turning as alice called your name.

she was standing in the entry of the closet, holding up a black lace bodysuit and a pair of daisy dukes and you nearly choked, “oh i am not wearing-” you started but she just shushed you, tossing it into your bag.

“it’s a nightclub y/n! you have to look the part. besides, paul’ll be matching you. you two’ll look great together!” she exclaimed happily and you rolled your eyes as she explained paul was supposedly going to be wearing a pair of jeans and a black t-shirt to compliment you. 

“this is going to be miserable.” you groaned, walking back down the stairs, alice following close behind with your bag. paul was apparently much quicker than you to pack and already had the car started, waiting rather impatiently inside while carlisle and sam went over the plan with him. 

while alice got your bag in the trunk, you got into the passenger seat. “so just make sure nothing happens to her, okay?” carlisle finished and paul rolled his eyes, nodding.

“couldn’t even if i wanted to.” he grumbled and you laughed softly, happy to know he was just as miserable as you were over the whole ordeal. you got your seatbelt on and grabbed your phone to put some music on while paul rolled the window up and got the GPS setup. 

as you two pulled out, you could faintly make out the sound of jacob, embry, emmett, and jasper laughing with each other over how mad you and paul looked. “doja cat?” paul groaned as you turned on your music.

“do you argue about everything? jesus christ-” you groaned, rolling your eyes at him as you slumped down in the seat. 

the 3 and a half hour drive to seattle was nothing short of misery. it was mostly silent between you and paul aside from when he’d make a comment about your music choices. by the time you had arrived at the hotel, you were dying to get out of the car and get some air. paul parked the car, turning to you “put this on, yea?” he asked, handing you an engagement ring and you scoffed, shaking your head.

“what are you? delusional?” you gawked at him and he rolled his eyes, grabbing your hand and putting it on your finger himself despite your protests. both of you found yourselves at a loss for words when you felt him grab your hand, neither of you used to the tingling sensation that accompanied him touching you. 

paul was the first to break the silence, “we’re supposed to be married. suck it up and act like it, would you?” he deadpanned before releasing your hand and you rolled your eyes, quickly hopping out of the car. while you headed inside, paul carried both of your bags in shortly behind you.

“hi!” the lady at the front desk greeted the two of you as paul handed your bags to the bellman to bring to your room, “what’s the name on your reservation?” she asked softly and you smiled.

“y/n y/l/n.” you said and paul quickly cut you off, wrapping his arm around your waist and pulling you to his side. 

you just about slapped him but stopped yourself when you realized you were the one that fucked up, “y/n lahote.” he clarified, “just got married a few months ago.” he explained, pressing a soft kiss to the top of your head.

you were more mad that something in you enjoyed the feeling of him touching you than you were that he was touching you in the first place, “oh congratulations! what a beautiful ring.” she mused, taking your hand to look at the ring paul had put on you just a few minutes prior. “you two make a beautiful couple.” she continued, “any babies yet?” she asked softly, smiling as she released your hand and worked at checking the two of you in.

you looked up at paul anxiously who just smiled, “we’re working on it.” he explained, smiling as the front desk lady beamed at the two of you.

“oh well we have to upgrade you to our couple’s suite. you two will love it! definitely should help with that.” she winked at you and you felt your cheeks heating up, paul’s grip on your waist tightening. 

“thank you.” paul said softly, taking the keycard from her as she handed it to him.

“anytime. we’ll have someone bring some champagne up later tonight then we’ll leave you two to it!” she winked at you again and you forced yourself to smile at her, quietly thanking her as well as paul guided you over to the elevator.

the ride up the elevator was more or less silent and you allowed paul to keep his hand around your waist the whole way up, only squirming out of his grasp when you got into the room. “what the fuck was that?” you whipped around to hiss at him when he closed the door behind him.

“don’t even start with me - you seriously need to get it together if we’re gonna go out tonight.” he snapped back at you, rolling his eyes. 

you let out a frustrated sigh, realizing he was right, before grabbing your bag and heading into the bathroom, shutting the door behind you so you could cool yourself off and get changed in peace. you quickly got changed into alice’s outfit for you and, although you were well aware you looked absolutely phenomenal in it, you had little interest in dressing up for paul. 

while you were doing your hair and makeup, paul knocked on the door, “how long are you gonna take? we have to be there in 30 minutes.” he explained, still sounding just as grumpy as he did when you two got there.

“‘m almost done.” you explained, pulling the door open so you could glare at him. he sucked in a breath when he saw you, clearly trying not to stare but failing miserably as he looked you up and down.

scoffing, you shut the door on him again which had him rolling his eyes on the other side of the door, “just- just hurry up, yea?” he asked, a bit softer than before.

“give me like 5 minutes.” you said back, quickly finishing your hair and makeup before heading back out to grab your shoes. 

alice was definitely right in her outfit choices, you and paul did look like a couple and he looked… attractive? you caught yourself staring at him a bit too long which he quickly noticed and teasingly offered you the same scoff you had given him just a few minutes prior, “c’mon princess,” paul said, loving taunting you with that stupid petname 

you just rolled your eyes, huffing as you got up and followed him out of the hotel room. the ride back down the elevator was short and paul wrapped his hand around your waist when the doors opened, anchoring you to his side as the two of you walked out.

you smiled at the front desk lady who waved to the two of you on your way out, “have fun mister and misses lahote!” she called as you exited.

refraining from rolling your eyes, you curled into paul’s side as the frigid outside air hit your exposed skin. neither of you acknowledged it when paul pulled you closer to him, instead just making the quick walk over to the club.

as you stepped instead, you could hear the music blasting and the heat immediately helped heat you up. paul slid his hand into the back pocket of your shorts which nearly had you whipping around to slap him but you remained committed to the role, allowing him to lead you over to the bar. 

“c’mere.” he murmured, grabbing your hips and lifting you up onto one of the stools and stepping inbetween your thighs. you bit back a snarky comment, instead just allowing him to scan the room to see if he could identify victoria or riley. 

apparently he couldn’t and after a moment you started to get a bit impatient, “can we go dance?” you asked, already knowing there was no way in hell he’d let you go alone.

“absolutely not.” he said, not paying any particular attention to you as he looked over his shoulder when your favorite redhead and her boytoy entered the dancefloor, “nevermind. let’s go.” his grip on your hips tightened as he lifted you off the barstool, allowing you to take his hand and tug him onto the dancefloor.

the crowd of people forced you and paul to be chest and chest when you finally got onto the dancefloor, “can you not look so stiff? you look like you hate me.” you said, rolling your eyes as paul shushed you, clearly trying to listen to whatever victoria and riley were talking about.

all the couples around you had their hands all over each other and you and paul looked… quite the opposite and apparently one of the other guys on the dancefloor noticed and made his way over to the two of you. you mentally facepalmed yourself as you tried to figure out a way of what you knew was going to be an awkward situation but couldn’t think of anything before he started talking, “miss can i just say you are looking so fucking sexy right now? such a shame that your man isn’t paying you any mind,” he said as he slid his hand into your back pocket. you tensed up and paul turned his attention back to you.

“if you don’t take your hand off of her ass in the next 3 seconds you will lose that hand.” paul threatened, giving him a look that you could only define as somewhere between furious and over-protective. the guy rolled his eyes at paul which neither of you took too kindly to. 

“i think the lady can make decisions for herself, right sexy?” he asked you and you looked up at paul anxiously, not sure what to do.

paul grabbed his hand and pulled it out of your back pocket, squeezing it a bit too hard for the guy and had him letting out a low whine, “okay, okay for fuck’s sake i got it man-” he tried to reason but paul didn’t seem to be too particularly phased by his pain, squeezing his wrist harder.

“paul-” you warned when you felt him beginning to shake a bit and you placed your hand on his abdomen which quickly pulled him back to you. the guy quickly walked away when paul released his hand. 

“you okay?” paul asked in a much softer tone than he normally used to talk to you in, he almost seemed genuinely concerned for your wellbeing, something you quickly chalked up to him pretending to be your husband for the night.

“‘m fine.” you murmured, looking away from him and over to victoria and riley who had moved over to some of the couches in the lounge area. 

paul slid his hand up to your jaw, prompting you to look back up at him, “okay. you tell me if you want to leave, yea?” he asked and you nodded, letting out a heavy sigh. he had never asked if you were okay before or ever really seemed too particularly concerned about your emotional well being so this was new. you stopped yourself before you could think any more about it, reminding yourself he was only doing all this because of your whole husband/wife charade for the night. 

“we need to go over there.” he said back in his normal tone of indifference, spinning your around and guiding you over to the lounge area where quite literally every single couple over there was in a heated makeout session. 

paul sat down on one of the open loveseats, pulling you into his lap in the process. you looked around at all the other couples, quickly figuring out how to fit in with them before you moved so you were straddling paul’s lap, taking his hands and sliding them over your hips.

you ran your hands up his chest, stopping when you cupped his face in your hands, both of you scanning each other’s features in an attempt to read what was going through each of your minds. knowing you were easily going to blow your cover if you didn’t get into it soon, you just offered paul a small nod of permission which he thankfully picked up on.

he slid one of his hands onto your lower back to stabilize you and knotted the other in your hair, pulling you close to him so your lips just barely touched. your whole body felt like it was on edge as you slowly melted into the kiss.

he tightened his grip on you, pulling you closer to him as he kissed you. your mind was foggy with thoughts of him. being so close to him - even if it was just for some stupid act - had you all sorts of emotional and you could hardly focus on anything other than how good paul’s body felt against yours. 

he pulled back after a moment, closing his eyes and taking a few deep breaths and you watched him nervously, not sure if you did something wrong. you dropped your hips back into his lap but paul stopped you, gripping your hip when it suddenly clicked together and you looked down to see the large tent in his jeans.

you couldn’t help the giggle that left your lips, happy to know he was more down bad about the whole ordeal than you were. paul opened his eyes to glare at you, “don’t even start with me princess,” paul threatened and you just smiled innocently at him.

“i don’t think i know what you mean paul.” you whispered, running one of your hands down his chest, slowing down as you got to his lower abdomen, teasingly dancing your fingers along the denim material on his jeans. 

paul’s breath hitched in his throat when your fingers just barely grazed over the bulge in his jeans, “don’t start something you can’t finish.” paul warned and you giggled again, running your hand back up his chest to wrap around his neck.

paul let out a relieved sigh when you decided to stop teasing him, running his hands back up your sides, “what a beautiful ring!” a woman’s voice called and you looked over to see a woman who looked to be a little older than you and paul sitting down next to the two of you, “can i see?” she asked softly and you looked up at paul who nodded.

you smiled softly, offering the woman your hand, “wow that’s absolutely beautiful. how long have you two been married?” she asked looking between the two of you.

“just a few months now.” paul explained, “the misses over here wanted a long engagement.” he teased, pinching your side which had you squirming in his lap, knowing how irritated it would make him, the two of you apparently each deciding to do your damnedest to make the other miserable. 

“oh how lovely.” she cooed, “you two make a beautiful couple. any babies yet?” she asked softly and paul apparently saw his opportunity to get back at you and ran with it.

“that’s funny you ask. we’ve actually been trying since the honeymoon.” he explained, “she’s been begging for me to put a baby in her if you know what i mean.” he teased, both of them laughing. if looks could kill, paul most definitely would’ve been dead with the way you were glaring daggers at him.

the woman squeezed your hand gently, “you would look absolutely stunning with his baby my love. pregnancy would suit you well.” she mused and you forced a smile.

“thank you.” you whispered, knowing your cheeks were definitely bright pink by now with how mortified you were over the whole ordeal. 

“well i must be going now. it was so lovely meeting the two of you.” she said softly, pressing a kiss to the top of your hand before getting up and leaving. 

you turned your attention back to paul who could not have looked more satisfied with himself, “don’t even think about it princess.” paul teased, knowing how badly you wanted to chew him out right now but couldn’t for risk of blowing your cover.

you sucked in a threatening breath and paul just rolled his eyes at you before looking over to victoria and riley who seemed to be wrapping their night up, “c’mon let’s go.” paul murmured, lifting you off of him and helping you stand before guiding you out of the club. 

the walk back to the hotel was short but frigid, paul kept his arm wrapped around you the whole time and you deluded yourself into believing it was because he actually felt anything for you. neither of you said much on the walk back, probably because you both were wondering what the hell you just did together in that club.

you kicked off your shoes as soon as you got back to the hotel room, immediately heading into the bathroom so you could shower. it wasn’t until you were stepping out of the shower that you realized you left your pajamas in the other room. huffing, you wrapped a towel around yourself and headed back out to the bedroom where paul was sat down on the edge of the bed on the phone with sam.

“shut your eyes you clown.” you snapped at paul when you noticed he was ogling you again. he just rolled his eyes, dramatically covering his eyes while you grabbed your clothes and quickly changed. 

“you done yet?” he asked and you hummed. happy with your answer, he headed into the bathroom, putting sam on speaker phone while he got in the shower. it wasn’t long until he came back out, wearing just a pair of sweatpants and now off the phone with sam.

you crossed your arms over your chest, looking him up and down dramatically in an attempt to show your disapproval of him, “you are not sleeping in the same bed as me like that.” you deadpanned and he just rolled his eyes.

“are you always so dramatic?” he asked as he pulled a shirt out of his bag, pulling it on as he waited for your response.

you just huffed, “only for you paul,” you muttered, rolling your eyes as you got under the covers and leaned against the headboard so you could put something on tv. 

paul sighed, sitting down on the bed next to you, “hgtv?” he asked, groaning as you turned it on and laid down, content to listen to that in the background while you fell asleep.

“you can put whatever on once i’m asleep.” you grumbled, closing your eyes as you attempted to fall asleep. 

“sweet dreams princess.” paul grumbled back, getting back up to do who knows what. you fell asleep pretty quickly, exhausted from the long day.

sometime during the night, you woke up shivering. upset with how cold you were, you got up, turning the lights on as you went to the thermostat which paul apparently took issue with, “what are you doing?” he groaned as he woke up and threw his arm over his eyes.

“it’s freezing in here.” you said softly, attempting to mess around with the thermostat which didn’t work at all. seeing it wasn’t working, you groaned and picked up the phone, calling the front desk and asked them if they could turn up the heat. 

they were quick to let you know that it was a system issue and everyone’s heat was broken. “jus’ c’mere.” paul groaned when you hung up the phone, opening his arms for you, clearly wanting to get back to sleep.

“absolutely not.” you deadpanned, more paranoid that if you did cuddle with him it’d make your feelings for him worse than they already were.

“have fun being up all night then.” he grumbled, slapping the light switch back off, quickly going back to sleep. you huffed, determined not to need him at all but quickly realized it was going to be a long night as it was only 1 in the morning and it wasn’t getting warmer anytime soon.

you thought through the pros and cons in your head. you couldn’t deny how much your body and heart wanted him but your brain kept screaming at you not to do anything with him for fear of catching feelings for him. “it’s way too late for that.” you thought to yourself as you realized how quickly you had fallen for the man who imprinted on you, effectively tethering the two of you together for the rest of both of your lives.

“paul?” you murmured after a moment and he hummed, not opening his eyes to look at you.

“cold?” he asked teasingly, a smile quickly covering his face and you mentally cursed yourself for not getting carlisle to turn you into a vampire already so you wouldn’t be in this situation. 

“yea.” you whispered and he chuckled softly. 

“c’mere.” he murmured, opening his arms which you quickly crawled into, allowing him to pull you close to his chest, “better?” he asked softly after a moment and you nodded.

a few moments of silence went by before you decided to break it, “is it always going to feel like this?” you murmured softly and he opened his eyes to look down at you.

“what do you mean?” he asked, much softer than he usually was with you. you gnawed at your bottom lip as you tried to figure out how to clarify.

“us.” you whispered, “is it always going to hurt?” you asked and he frowned at you, also taking a moment to think of his response.

he took in a deep breath before responding, “if we’re not together then yea. it probably always will.” he explained softly and you nodded, bottom lip warbling as you tried to figure out what to say to that.

“do you think we ever could?” you whispered, peeking up at him nervously, “be together i mean.” you clarified, not sure what to expect from him.

paul sucked in another deep breath, both of you treading very carefully, “we could. but i think you hate me a little too much for that.” he explained softly and you furrowed your eyebrows as you looked up at him, confused by his response.

“hate you?” you murmured incredulously, “i only hate that you make my heart hurt so much.” you explained softly, “and i hate that you make it hard to be away from you. and i hate that it hurts whenever we’re separated. and i hate that i’m addicted to how it feels when you touch me.” you explained, figuring now was as good a time as any to finally let him know how you felt about him.

paul seemed a bit taken aback by your confession, his eyes softening as he processed what you said to him, “you don’t hate me?” he murmured after a moment and you shook your head.

“i don’t think i could hate you if i tried.” you whispered and he nodded, his grip tightening around you for a moment.

“then yea. we could be together if you wanted.” he explained softly, gently rubbing circles against your shoulder blade with his thumb.

you nodded, pulling your bottom lip between your teeth as you tried to think of what to say next, “can we try?” you asked softly and he nodded slowly, gently running his free hand up your back and into your hair to run his fingers through it.

he scanned your features, waiting for you to give him a small nod before he pressed his lips to yours for the second time that night, except this time he meant it. you tightened your fists on his shirt, tugging him closer to you which he happily obliged to. paul rolled over so he was ontop of you and settled comfortably between your thighs which you quickly wrapped around him, tugging him down to kiss you again as you slid one of your hands up his chest to wrap around the back of his neck, holding him close to you.

a soft knock at the door pulled you both out of your makeout session, paul pulling apart from you as the two of you caught your breaths, “i’ll get it.” he murmured, pressing another soft kiss to your lips before getting out of the bed and padding over to the door. 

you couldn’t hear too well but it sounded like someone from the hotel was there to drop off some blankets. the conversation was short lived and paul came back over a few moments later, handing you a blanket, “apparently the heat really is out.” he explained as you spread the blanket out on the top covers, paul getting back into the bed with you and quickly pulled you back into his chest.

“we should get some sleep.” you whispered, peeking up at him and he nodded in agreement, pressing a soft kiss to your forehead as you curled further into his chest. 

“definitely should.” he reiterated, allowing you to roll over so he was spooning you, only letting out a soft chuckle when you took his arm and pulled it over you so he had you caged in his embrace. it didn’t take long for both of you to drift off, much happier knowing that the two of you settled your feelings for one another.

the next morning you woke up to the sound of paul’s phone ringing. you let out a groan, rolling over so you could bury your face in the crook of paul’s arm as he blindly reached around for his phone, quickly picking up the facetime call from sam.

“hey sam,” paul muttered groggily and you just groaned, not at all interested in being up so early in the morning. you weren’t paying too much attention to what they were saying but did hear paul agreeing to drive back asap, “yea, yea we’ll get going in a minute.” he explained, gently squeezing your side in an attempt to wake you up a bit more.

they quickly said their goodbyes before paul hung up, “you up?” he asked softly, running his hand up and down your side as he waiting for your response.

you hummed, nodding as you sat up, groggily knuckling at your eyes, “they need us to head back soon, apparently something happened.” he explained and you groaned, rolling over so you were straddling paul’s waist, quickly leaning down to press a soft kiss to his lips before getting off of him.

paul just chuckled as you headed into the bathroom to change, both of you getting ready quickly before heading downstairs to check-out where the check-in lady was happily waiting for the two of you, “mister and misses lahote!” she beamed as the two of you walked over, “how was everything?” she asked and you looked up at paul who pressed his lips to your forehead for a quick kiss.

“great, thank you.” he said softly, handing her the key so she could finish checking you guys out.

“that’s lovely to hear. well i’m hoping i’ll see you two back here in 9 months with a baby then!” she teased and you blushed, your cheeks quickly heating up to a bright pink at her comment. paul just chuckled and squeezed your side.

“we can hope.” he responded teasingly, smiling at her before you waved your goodbyes and headed back out to the car. 

the ride back to forks felt shorter than the way there seeing as paul encouraged you to go back to sleep on the way back, sensing how tired you were through the bond. about 20 minutes before you got back, you woke up, groggily trying to figure out what was going on, “we’re almost back.” paul said softly when he realized you had woken up.

you nodded, blearily knuckling at your eyes, “what are we gonna tell them?” you mumbled as you woke up, now realizing that you’d need to tell the pack and cullens that you two finally decided to try and embrace the imprint instead of rejecting it.

“sam already knows so i’m guessing he told everyone.” paul explained and that was enough to wake you all the rest of the way up.

you looked over at him confused and he just laughed softly, “he saw you on facetime when you rolled over this morning.” he explained and you groaned, slumping back down in the seat.

“well that solves that problem i guess.” you said softly, both of you laughing softly. 

when you got back to the cullen’s house, you and paul were quite relentlessly teased about the whole thing for about 5 minutes before sam and carlisle put a stop to it, allowing you and paul to go upstairs to one of the spare bedrooms and catch up on the rest of the sleep that you had missed out on thanks to your long night out.

this is may be a dumb question but i saw something about it in the tags and you're a wordsmith and i do so adore your fics, so if the cullens adopted bree tanner, what do you think that would look like? like what would the dynamics be? (especially between bree, jasper and alice?)

There is no such thing as a dumb question anon! I have 0 recollection about any Bree tags, so we're going on totally fresh vibes.

I also need to be totally transparent: I never read Bree Tanner. I know the plot, but like Midnight Sun, I never felt moved to engage with it. I also found that Bree's early life and Alice's was so similar it was slightly silly. So please excuse me if I fudge the details.

If the Cullens had adopted Bree... well. That would put a major spanner in the works because newborns and Bella would not mix well.

This means the family would have to split up, and that would be controversial: Jasper would have to go with the newborn, and Alice would go with Jasper because dealing with a newborn would not be a great time for Jasper. Rose and Emmett would probably go with them - Emmett could be useful with Bree, and Rose would both want to get away from Bella, and want to go with Emmett. I could see only Carlisle, Edward, and maybe Esme staying behind in Forks with Bella, honestly.

But that's a pretty dramatic twist in the Cullen dynamic and separation would definitely effect how Bree bonded with everyone - she would automatically be closer to the family she was 'raised' with, and defer to Jasper and Emmett before she did Carlisle, Edward or Esme. I could see Bree going to Jasper or Emmett for permission/help rather than Carlisle being something that really calls into question the dynamics of the family - and I could see Edward, Esme, and Bella as perceiving that as an insult to Carlisle. But whilst Bree is grateful to Carlisle for negotiating her freedom, her loyalties lie with the family members that 'raised' her and protected her. And I can see all four of them being very protective over her; ultimately the family would have this unspoken divide into two covens simply because of the split, and it would take time and communication to really heal it.

That's quite a complicated scenario, so let's backtrack and say that it was possible for Bree to start in Forks with the full Cullen family and become one of them. (We'll get through the rest of the family before we get to Alice and Jasper.)

Esme would dote on her; she would mother the ever-loving shit out of her - especially when Bree told her about her upbringing and her missing mom. I think Bree would take the place of the 'baby' of the family because she's both the newborn and the youngest of the family. Bree would absolutely soak all of this up, and probably drive everyone else nuts hogging Esme for the first few months.

Carlisle would be very kind to her, try to help her transition to animal blood, and very carefully give her the rundown on the laws of vampires, and the family rules. I can see Bree being wary of him as a father figure because of her father's abuse, but also be relieved by the fact he's protected her and he's telling her everything she needs to know. He saved her from death, that's huge considering both her bio father and Riley sent her to death. There would be a lot of respect there, and eventually affection, but it would be as openly affectionate as the relationship Bree has with Esme.

Rosalie would be distant at first, very put-out that they've adopted a stray and be very, very frustrated as Bree learns control and how to behave as a human. But as time passed, I could see Rose thriving as a Big Sister - teaching Bree how to do things like change a tire and take care of a car; teaching her to drive; how to throw a punch. Rose would be the one to go searching for Bree's mom and finding out that Mr Tanner was charged for her murder would enrage her. Rose is definitely the one who organizes a burial and headstone for Mrs Tanner, though she lets Esme and Carlisle break the news to Bree.

Emmett would love Bree. A kid sister? One who is doesn't mind being tossed in the air and is happy to go bear hunting multiple times a week? He's hooked. And I think that easy-going acceptance would go so far with Bree. He's just... friend-shaped, and he's got her back. If she's out of control, Emmett's got her in a bear hug and he doesn't even hold a grudge if she bites him. She feels very safe with Emmett, and loves playing video games with him, and more than once Rose has walked into their bedroom to find Bree lounging on their bed talking to him whilst Emmett sorts comic books or something.

Edward resents the fuck out of Bree because he sees her as taking the place reserved for Bella - the baby sister, the newborn. He's frustrated that they have to deal with Bree's newborn year, because no one will change Bella until Bree is in control and safe to be around - Jasper would flat out refuse and leave if he had to deal with two newborns, and having two at the same time - especially of opposing ages - would be a recipe for chaos. But he's also intensely aware that Bree was in literal hell both as a human and as a vampire, and he tries very hard to be kind and mostly just comes off as the bothered older brother. He's also the one that picks up on the fact that Diego is most likely dead, but she's so hopeful he cannot tell her otherwise. Bree tries to get on Edward's good side, but she just keeps messing it up - touching his sheet music, his CDs, accidentally insulting things Edward holds dear. It would be funny if it wasn't going so very wrong.

Bella as a human is scared of Bree, because it's so very obvious Bree struggles in Bella's presence. and because of Bree's association with Victoria and with Riley. Bree's pretty curious about Bella, but they don't have a relationship until Bella is a vampire. As a vampire, Bella is quite... dismissive of Bree; because of her shield, Bella doesn't experience the bloodlust Bree has, and she's married to Edward, where Bree has lost her mate. Bella suffers from an inability to see from other's perspectives and her own privilege in her change, so she has a low tolerance for Bree - especially around Renesmee. It takes time and they make peace, but they aren't ever close.

Jasper. Oh boy. Jasper has a very complicated relationship with Bree because of his time in the South. He hates being around newborns because of that; their emotions change so fast, they can be triggered from calm to frothing rage instantly, they bite, and they are so strong. Having Bree join the family was not on Jasper's agenda at all, but he's also past the point of executing newborns for existing and accepting that Esme and Carlisle want to keep her. He sees her presence as part of his penance and a step closer to being a better man.

Jasper would be the one that did the most monitoring of her because of his gift and his experience. It would take a lot out of him, and he'd hover at the sidelines, quiet and waiting. I think the stress of knowing that after Bree is 'done', he's expected to go and do exactly the same thing with Bella. That would be stressful and exhausting and depressing for him. And he would be the first line of fire when Bree was out of control - getting bitten by her would be a fun adventure into flashbacks of the south for him.

But I also don't think that he'd hold that against her at all. He'd be kind and he'd be patient because he knows what it's like to be lied to by a leader. He knows what it's like to wake up in a hellscape of death and pain and destruction. And he knows what it's like to be given a second chance by the Cullens. I think he'd be a lot warmer to her after her newborn period was up, and I think he'd eventually joke about any bite scars she gave him. I definitely think that Bree would see him as a protector figure, because of how he monitored her, but also someone worthy of respect, fitting in somewhere between Edward and Carlisle. He would also do a lot of the legwork for Rose trying to track down Mrs Tanner.

Alice would be Jasper's main support during Bree's newborn year, and probably be the ambassador between the pair so that Bree doesn't feel intimidated, rejected, or threatened by Jasper, and Jasper didn't get overwhelmed by Bree and lose his temper. I can also see Bree appreciating Alice's makeovers and becoming Alice's favorite person to dress up because she never had that opportunity before and Alice prides herself on being a very stereotypical big sister with movie nights and dance parties - something that Bree loves and would cause a little tension with Bella and Edward.

Alice would also essentially confirm that Diego was gone to Edward. She would also kind of confirm that Fred was alive, mostly because he makes her visions go wonky because of his gift, which I think Bree would be delighted by. Bree would like the reassurance that Alice's gift offered, that she could check that she was doing things right and she was safe. When it came to the next high school, I could see Alice and Bree both being enrolled as freshman so that Bree has someone to watch over her and she's got one friend in class to have a normal high school experience.

Chapter Warnings: Scars, water/swimming, brief insecurity, really not much. Mostly fluffy

“I’m so booooored,” Emmett groaned, flopping face first onto the couch across from Riley. The younger vampire snickered as Emmett turned onto his back and pouted, folding his arms across his chest. “I don’t get why you couldn’t go into town, and why I have to babysit you. I mean, I guess it would be lonely without somebody here, but this is driving me insane!” Emmett got up off the couch again. The rest of the Cullen family had gone into town to start getting some things for Edward and Bella’s wedding. She wasn’t getting married until August, but Alice had insisted they look for a dress and shoes at least so that all the good ones wouldn’t end up being gone. Edward wanted to get some more CDs. and Jasper had heard of a new book he wanted to read. Carlisle and Esme went to supervise. Riley had wanted to go, just to get out of the house and the woods, but the entire family said no except for Emmett. So Emmett was put on, as Jasper jokingly comment, “babysitting duty”. 

“Why don’t we do something, then?” Riley suggested it, leaning back against the couch and smirking a bit. Emmett raised an eyebrow at him and turned hands clasped behind his back. “After all, Esme and Carlisle said we couldn’t go into town. They didn’t say that we couldn’t leave the house,” he pointed out. Emmett’s face split into a grin. 

“Oh dude, yes! Come on, I want to show you something!” Emmett grabbed Riley’s wrist to pull him off the couch, and then the two of them took off running into the woods. Of course, before the fun had even really started, the run had turned into a competition. Riley’s legs practically flew under him as he whipped through the forest, laughing freely as the wind rippled through his hair. Even though his heart was no longer beating and his skin was hard as stone, Riley felt alive. 

Emmett ran at his side, keeping perfect place, and Riley grinned at him, waving. Emmett snorted but waved back, a grin equally as wide on his face. He led Riley down a beaten path leading downwards and deep into the woods. Riley could hear running water. The green seemed to grow even brighter and sharper around the two of them. A stream ran deep through the ground at Riley’s side, and he wanted to stop and take a look, but Emmett wasn’t finished. They ran and ran, ever growing tired, until Emmett finally came to a stop. They’d reached the edge of a small ridge, which dropped down into a small clearing. Riley was about to ask what they were doing there, when he actually looked down. His mouth fell open in shock and awe. 

“It’s so beautiful,” Riley murmured, taking a step closer to the edge. The stream they’d been passing had turned out to be a large creek and poured water over a small waterfall into a large pool, which collected in a rough circular pool that ran out on the opposite end into several other pools and deep areas and frothy rapids. The edges of each pool were surrounded by wildflowers. In fact, the entire ground in the surrounding area was covered in a blanket out flowers. Riley, funnily enough, recalled a movie that he’d watched as a kid about a small deer. The scene reminded him of when the creature met his friend, a skunk. 

“I do too. Rosalie and I found it a few days ago while we were out hunting,” Emmett said. He started taking his shirt off and Riley started, staring at him in confusion. 

“What- What are you doing?” Riley spluttered, utterly confused and somewhat scared. Why was Emmett stripping in the forest…?

“Going swimming. Obviously. You should too!” Emmett said excitedly, shedding his pants and undershirt next. Thankfully, he had the decency to keep his boxers on and he let out a loud whoop, leaping over the edge of the waterfall and plunging down into the pool below. The water was so crystal clear that Riley was able to see Emmett sink to the bottom of the pool. The green, which Riley had assumed to be the color of the water, turned out to be a reflection of the trees above, and the moss growing on the rocks inside the pool. Emmett burst back up to the surface, shaking his hair like a wet dog and laughing. “Come on Riley! It’s great, I swear!” Riley hesitated a moment, plucking slightly at his shirt. He slowly took it off, revealing the numerous scars he had obtained from training newborns, and some of Victoria’s more intense punishments. He expected Emmett to freak out, or be disgusted, but the older vampire just looked up at Riley with an expectant grin on his face. Riley’s chest swelled with an unfamiliar, but very pleasant feeling, and his eagerness was so much that he tripped and fell trying to get out of his jeans. Emmett let out a bellowing laugh, so Riley aimed directly at his head as he jumped down into the pool. 

Riley sank to the bottom. He looked around him, watching tiny fish flit in and out around the water, and tadpoles half formed and newly born swimming, their little tails wiggling frantically. The moss on the rocks swayed slightly as the water above and around them rushed and swirled in an ongoing, natural pattern. Riley looked above him, amazed as the sunlight filtered through the trees and down into the water, casting an almost yellow glow below the surface. His feet sank into the warm mud at the bottom of the pool. He stayed there for a moment, allowing his stone body to remain there. Riley liked it here. He would come back. Riley kicked off the bottom of the natural pool and swam back up to Emmett, shaking his hair just as the other had and laughing. 

“It’s beautiful down there, did you look?” Riley said, unable to keep the excitement out of his tone. Emmett smiled and nodded. 

“Yeah, I did. It’s cool down there, an entire ecosystem thriving right under our noses,” Emmett said with a thoughtful hum. He floated on his back, looking up at the canopy of trees. His skin glinted in the sunlight. Riley glanced at him and then looked over his shoulder nervously. He knew it was stupid to be afraid of someone finding them, the forests were massive, It was just in his nature, he supposed. He started floating too, moving his arms and legs ever so slightly to stay above the water. 

“Why’d you bring me here?” Riley asked after a moment of silence. Emmett let out a small sigh. 

“As a thank you. For helping Rosalie yesterday,” Emmett replied, turning himself upright again in the water to look at Riley properly. Riley did it as well, for manners sake. He shied away with embarrassment, and had he been human his cheeks would have been flushed a brilliant red. 

“You don’t have to thank me, Emmett. She helped me anyways, I didn’t really do anything,” Riley confessed. Emmett smiled and shook his head. 

“No, you definitely helped her. It’s been a long, long time since she’s told anybody what happened to her, and she always swore to me that no one outside of the family would ever know. But you...you’ve turned our world upside down, Riley,” Emmett finished with a laugh, the way his smile reached his eyes putting Riley at ease almost as well as Jasper’s emotion manipulation. “When she came downstairs after she talked to you…” Emmett’s voice trailed off for a moment. “...it was like a completely different person had come down the stairs. She didn’t say anything, but she didn’t have to. She was smiling a lot, like a lot a lot. It was great,” the older vampire said, turning and grinning at RIley again. 

“I’m…I’m glad,” Riley said softly. “She’s a good person.” Emmett chuckled. 

“It’s about time somebody besides me realized that. Now come on, let’s swim!” Emmett clapped Riley on the back and dove under the water, swimming through the rough current of the creek and into the second pool. Riley followed close behind, feeling much less out of place than he did before. They swam for hours. They had races, splashed each other in the face, you know, the usual antics that young men in their late teens to twenties will get into (even if the twenty year old had been twenty for almost one hundred years). Riley hadn’t wanted to leave, but the sun was going down quickly and Emmett knew that Esme would want them back home to help unload anything they bought and spend some time with Bella before she had to go home. 

“There you are! You two look like you had some fun today,” Carlisle commented as the two vampires came running up to the house, hair still soaking wet and their clothes sticking to their wet skin. “Now that you’re home, though, we could use your help. Alice went a little shop-happy…there’s a lot to bring in,” he continued. Emmett groaned in complaint, but Riley obediently went out to the driveway, where Edward’s Volvo XC60  was currently being unloaded of all of its merchandise. 

“Just put it in my room love, I’ll take care of it after it’s all brought upstairs,” Alice said to Jasper, who was carrying a large box filled with assorted decorations. The couple shared a quick kiss before Jasper zipped into the house, returning a moment later to take two other boxes and repeating the process. Edward was bringing some things down to the basement. “Riley! Emmett! How was swimming?” Alice asked the two of them as they appeared. 

“It was a of fun, Emmett’s a cool person to hang out with,” Riley said, taking a box out of the trunk of the car. “Where would you like this one, Alice?” he asked. Alice smiled at Riley’s previous comment, then perked up when he asked her about the box. 

“Just follow Jasper up to my room, he’ll show you!” Alice said. Jasper’s head popped up at the mention of his name, and when his eyes fell on Riley, the younger vampire shivered. Jasper glanced at the singular box in Riley’s hands and quickly added a second box to his own pile. He gestured with his head for RIley to follow him, running up to Alice’s bedroom. Riley did his best to keep up, but he had to poke his head in a room or two before finally finding the one Jasper was in. Jasper watched Riley as he set his box down, and the uncomfortable tension in the air was sharp enough to cut with a knife. Jasper regarded Riley for a moment, who looked at him nervously and rubbed his hands on his pants before putting them in his pockets. 

“Come on, we still have more boxes,” Jasper muttered after the drawn out, awkward silence. Riley let out a sigh of relief and followed Jasper back outside. He certainly was a strange one.

If it had been Jasper-Sadie or Alice-Sadie as the vampires and finding their third later, how if at all would any of the “prior” story (the Twilght saga proper) have changed?

This turns the timeline inside out, but Meyer was never great at those anyway.

Ohhh, so much potential there! I can't answer that in full, because doing so would spoil what Sadie's potential vampire ability is. (Super sorry about that. Feel free to ask again after that information has come up in Rule One!)

I can say that both Bella and Edward would take to confiding in her and seeking her counsel with regards to their relationship. Especially if it's a Sadie-Alice duo; Edward would be super close with both Sadie and Alice (like he's close with Alice in canon), and while he sometimes gets frustrated with Alice, he pretty much always respects Sadie. It's like, Alice would be Bella's best friend and Edward's partner in crime (since she's still the one who would agree to kidnap Bella, whereas Sadie would never), and Sadie would be Bella's confidante and Edward's moral compass. Both Bella and Edward would go to Sadie for advice about each other, and Sadie, though startled by their neediness, would always have something valuable to say.

(Picture Bella or Edward bursting into Sadie's room with a question, and Sadie, wide-eyed, putting down whatever she's doing and saying, "Alrighty then, have a seat.)

Edward trusts that Sadie wouldn't lie to him, so the urgency in having Bella run to him in Italy before he sparkles in front of people (lest he read Alice's thoughts and assume she's lying to him) wouldn't be a thing; Sadie just runs Bella to Edward with vampire speed and is subjected to that whole reunion as an awkward third wheel while Alice parks the stolen car.

Also, Sadie would tip every fight slightly more in favor of the Cullens, but she would also have a habit of really wanting to talk to the enemies instead of attacking them. This is good/useful with the Volturi but not so good/useful with Victoria and Riley.

Oh! Also, Sadie would realize that Victoria will probably follow Edward's scent, in Eclipse, and Sadie would accompany him and Bella in sitting the battle out, so that they have more backup against Victoria. Jasper and Alice wouldn't be privy to the fact that Victoria is coming; this is just a realization that Sadie has that Edward hears in her mind. (As far as Jasper and Alice are concerned, Sadie is sitting the battle out just to be safe, and they're happy that she won't be in harm's way.) This is where Sadie's need to talk to enemies would become a problem, because both Victoria and Riley are too far gone to listen to reason, but Sadie really believes in them and wants to convince them they don't have to die today. It still turns out fine, though. Sadie gets a little hurt, but she's fine. Alice and Jasper would be absolutely smothering, after. Victoria is lucky she's already dead, because they would make her suffer.

And Sadie would think to explain things to Irina before Alice realizes that Irina is going to the Volturi, so that whole misunderstanding never happens.

All of that being said, the thought of "Yandere Alice meets Sadie first" and "Yandere Jasper meets Sadie first" got really interesting to me. So I have to talk about those scenarios immediately.

I'm going to place Sadie sometime in the twentieth century in both cases, and I'm going to try to let the time period matter as little as possible, but feel free to imagine them in 50s or 60s attire, lol. (Or 70s or 80s; again, it doesn't matter that much; I'm just placing her in the twentieth century to keep the rough order of events the same, kind of.) I'm approaching this with the assumption that Alice and Jasper still become vampires in the same way/at the same time as they do in canon; they just meet at different times. I'm not dealing with the Confederate thing here, though, because I'll be dealing with it in Rule One.

I'm gonna go ahead and put it all under the cut. (And if your experience of Rule One is more invested in the potential for wholesome romance than the yandere aspect, maybe the rest of this isn't for you, because this is definitely more yandere-leaning, lol.)

Alice-Sadie

Alice knows three things: 1. Her own name. 2. That she is going to join the Cullens. 3. That Sadie, whom she has not yet met, is her soulmate.

Though she slips up every now and then, Alice does her best not to eat humans. She wants to fit in with the Cullens by the time she finds them, so she's accustoming herself to the animal diet. Anyway, she has a mate out there whom she will meet as a human, and she has to get herself under control before she can risk being around her.

The thing is, Alice knows about Sadie before Sadie is actually an option, so she has to kill time so that she doesn't meet Sadie too early. And Alice hates waiting, so she goes ahead and introduces herself to the Cullens before Sadie. She tells them all about how she'll have a soulmate soon, and how it's killing her to keep her distance but she knows things will be way better if she never meets Sadie as a child. She decorates her room with things that Sadie likes, anticipating that one day she'll be sharing the room with Sadie. Honestly, if it weren't for Edward's mind reading, the rest of the Cullens might think Sadie was an imaginary friend or something.

(Rosalie would normally take issue with Alice's plans to intrude on the life of a human she's never met just because of a potential future where they're in love, but she doesn't really take Alice's fantasizing seriously until it's too late.)

One day, Alice just sort of disappears from the Cullen house, and only Edward knows where she's gone.

Sadie is finally at the right age; it's time.

Alice appears in Sadie's life, and everything she says and does is perfect. She rockets from stranger to friend to best friend at an impressive rate, her precognition easily compensating for Sadie's hesitancy (and Sadie would start off more wary than she is in Rule One, due to the time period). Having left the rest of the Cullens, for the time being, there is nothing (read: no one) holding Alice back from being absolutely surgical about making herself important in Sadie's life and subtly isolating her. She gives expensive gifts, and comprehensive compliments, and she always knows what to say to make Sadie like and trust her more.

When Sadie starts to become suspicious about the evolution of their friendship, Alice drops the vampire bomb and the soulmate bomb all at once, showing Sadie her speed and strength and sparkles. There was no better way to do it. Alice checked; this was the absolute best set of circumstances for the reveal.

Sadie asks for time to process the information. She asks for space. Alice graciously allows it; she's practically living with Sadie at this point, anyway. (Not that Sadie knows it. But yeah, she's in Sadie's house pretty much 24/7 (minus her hunting trips), dodging notice with stealth and psychic powers.)

When Sadie is ready to talk again, Alice pours out every reassurance: how she will never stop loving her; how she would never hurt her; how she thinks about her all the time and loves her so much. Sadie isn't fully won over by the whole vampire lover concept, but Alice does convince her to come meet her family.

They go to the Cullen house. Alice shows her off to everyone, and Rosalie is stunned, and Emmett laughs incredulously. Edward and Carlisle make polite introductions, and Esme hugs her, just glad to see Alice so happy. (Esme has been so worried about her newest daughter, so flighty and constantly pining for someone who wasn't there. And then she disappeared, and anything could have happened to her! But now she's back, and she's brought someone lovely, and she looks happier than Esme has ever seen her.) Carlisle and Edward give Sadie a more in-depth explanation of how vampires operate and why the bond between mates is a big deal. Esme cooks her a huge meal. Before they know it, nighttime has come, and Sadie falls asleep in Alice's room.

She wasn't drugged or anything; Alice just perfectly orchestrated a set of circumstances in which she would be tired by this exact time.

When she wakes up, Alice is an utter angel, offering her breakfast and a bath and telling her that there's more to see, around the house. She hasn't seen Rosalie's garage, yet! She hasn't seen Esme's garden. And soon enough she's sleeping over again.

On that third day at the house, Rosalie pulls Sadie aside to say that she'll drive Sadie home, if Sadie needs her to. But Alice has done her job well; Sadie likes Alice, and she likes the Cullens, and most of all, she's so curious about vampires and the world thereof. She's willing to stay and learn, provided she can visit her friends and family, and provided Alice doesn't try to change her. She fills several journals with what she learns about vampires, all in the span of a single year. She learns so much, and she's never satisfied that she's learned enough.

When Alice asks her to let Carlisle change her, she chooses exactly the right conversation, exactly the right approach, and exactly the right time. Sadie agrees and becomes a vampire. (She kind of has to, for this prompt, lol.) Rosalie is annoyed, but she knows that Sadie thought the matter over thoroughly.

When the day comes that Alice sees Jasper in their future, she drags Sadie off to meet him, barely explaining herself beyond "We have another mate!". Sadie goes along with it because she's used to Alice's antics.

They meet this crimson-eyed, roguishly handsome vampire, and Jasper is pretty instantly enthralled with them both. He's curious about their golden eyes, charmed by Alice's forwardness, and amused by Sadie's mix of intrigue and wariness. The emotional flavor of Alice's joy and cheerfulness, and of Sadie's curiosity and uncertainty, are enough to pretty much have him wrapped around their fingers right away.

Sadie's reaction is more "Ohhhh, Alice, this guy eats people..."

Alice just goes, "It's okay. Jasper will be willing to change his diet if we ask him to. Won't you, Jasper?"

And it's so presumptuous, but also he's into it, because Sadie has already made it clear that eating humans is a deal-breaker for her, and he doesn't want this meeting to end.

He joins the family, and it feels like the best thing ever; he has two amazing soulmates, and he belongs to a large coven that will always be safe from strangers. The animal-eating thing is a downside, but there's no help for that.

The dynamic for the next little while is that Alice is already in love with both Jasper and Sadie, Jasper is already in love with Alice and Sadie, and Sadie is in love with Alice and polite to Jasper but isn't quite sure about him. Like, she's in a peculiar place of "We are soulmates, and I do like you and feel an attraction to you, and I understand how our personalities are good together, but I don't know how long it'll take me to become comfortable with your past", and Jasper is just falling over himself to earn her approval, but she's comfortable with allowing it to take time.

(Rosalie is secretly very entertained by the whole thing, and Emmett is not-so-secretly entertained.)

Unlike in canon, Jasper would never suggest eating any human ever again; even once Sadie is comfortable with him, he never wants to risk making her doubt him the way she did in the beginning.

Jasper-Sadie

So at this point in his life, Jasper is eating people. His eyes are bright red, and he is ruthless, and Alice isn't around to temper that side of him.

This is absolutely a kidnapping situation.

When he runs into Sadie (entirely by happenstance), he doesn't know immediately that he is in love with her; he just knows that he wants to follow her, so he does. He stalks after her like he has stalked lots of prey in the past. Her blood doesn't sing to him, though; after several hours of just tailing her, he realizes that he just likes to hear her breathe and speak and laugh. He likes to look at her. He likes to taste her emotions on the air. He likes this human.

Then he realizes that he's in love with her, as much as Peter is in love with Charlotte.

He never wants to stop looking at her, listening to her talk...

He manages to get her alone, and he introduces himself in a charismatic, gentlemanly fashion. He kisses the back of her hand (managing to ignore the feel and sound of her pulse so close; he shouldn't take a risk like that again) and says, "Good afternoon, ma'am. My name is Jasper Whitlock. May I ask what your name is?"

She notices the coldness of his skin and the redness of his eyes (and again, time-period-wise, this interaction is very weird), but he is sending her the most powerful waves of comfort and calm that he can. She is dazed and perplexed, but not afraid, as she answers, "I'm Sadie Gilder."

It's the most beautiful name he has ever heard.

He abducts her pretty much then and there; he leads her away with a request that she accompany him and a heavy layer of mood control. Sadie is able to break out of the daze (through sheer overthinking) after they've walked together awhile; by the time she asks, "Wait, where are we?", they've reached the secluded mansion of an old widow.

(Jasper doesn't need a place to sleep, but his Sadie does, so he quickly identified this place as the best option.)

The order in which Jasper eats the occupants of the house and brings Sadie inside the house is up to your imagination, as is whether or not Sadie ends up seeing any bodies or seeing him with blood on his face and clothes. Either way, just the kidnapping itself is enough to have Sadie panicking, and he hates to feel her fear.

He holds her, gives her calming energy, and whispers to her. "Don't be scared. I won't hurt you, Perfect Sadie. I won't eat you. You're too special. Just gonna keep you right here." (He's just eaten a lot of people, so he's okay with breathing right next to her, so that he can keep whispering to her.) She falls asleep in his arms. He doesn't stop holding her, and he doesn't stop whispering. (Also, remember how the first thing he says to Sadie in Rule One is that she's warm and soft? Yeah, he still says that, pretty much verbatim, in this scenario. I'm not putting it in quotes, because it sounds dirty in a kidnapping context, but he for sure says it.)

The next day, since he's keeping up the comforting vibes to keep her from being afraid, Sadie asks Jasper a lot of questions. He tells her everything he knows about vampires. He isn't fully versed in vampire mating, so he isn't able to really inform her that his obsession with her is, to some degree, an inherent vampire trait, but he is very good at conveying to her that he is obsessed.

With no one to tell him to cool it with his power, and with his diet of human blood making his power more potent than it would be on animal blood, Jasper uses it at pretty much full capacity every time, instead of subtle shifts in emotion. So, while Sadie does notice that it's happening, she can't keep herself from the effects of his power by self-awareness alone.

He generally doses her with the same kind of peaceful calm he uses when he meets strange vampires for the first time, instead of the lethargic calm he uses to keep prey docile. He uses the latter when he wants her to sleep, but for the most part he just wants her to be unfearful and communicative.

She eats the food that's in the house. When he's able to convince himself to leave her unattended (usually after he's put her to sleep), he picks up more groceries and abducts some humans for himself. He keeps them in the cellar, far enough away from Sadie that she needn't know they're there but close enough that he can still hear her when he goes down to eat them. It's actually very convenient, not to have to hunt often; he just has to pop down to the cellar and enjoy a few of the already-injured occupants. Having a steady home has its upside. It's a shame someone will eventually notice the widow missing and he'll have to move with Sadie. But there will always be another empty mansion, or a mansion that can be easily made empty.

(When it's time to change homes, Jasper carries Sadie to the new destination while she's sleeping.)

Partially due to the mood control and partially due to the upfront-ness of everything, there's honestly very little tension between them. There's fear, sometimes (The one time Sadie tries to leave the mansion while Jasper is eating, he runs up from the cellar to stop her, and he's still covered in blood, and she's terrified, and it takes him a lot of soothing to get her calm again. It upsets him when she's scared.), but no tension. Sadie would like to leave, but she gathers that she can't, so all there is to do is maneuver within the new situation and learn more about her captor.

And neither of them is inherently a romantic. Jasper loves her, but even he isn't under the impression that they're dating or something. As far as he's concerned, he's keeping her; as far as she's concerned, she's studying him. Jasper is ecstatic with the arrangement, and Sadie is as comfortable as the situation allows.

Peter and Charlotte follow Jasper's scent at some point, wanting to hang out, and Jasper socializes with them outside the mansion, explaining that they can't go in because there's a human inside whom he is invested in keeping alive, and he can't risk them eating her. When they learn that he's in love, they ask if he plans on changing her, but he says that he can't yet. His control isn't good enough.

One day, Alice shows up.

She meets Jasper while he's in town, gathering food for Sadie and himself. They still have the little "You kept me waiting" "My apologies" flirtation, but he's a little more guarded, because he has to get back to Sadie, and as much as he is already beguiled by this weird-eyed stranger, he doesn't want her following him home. She's a vampire, and no vampires are allowed near his Sadie.

Alice really wants to skip the wooing; she's already seen herself with Jasper and Sadie. But she knows that mentioning Sadie too soon could make Jasper defensive, so she has to sprinkle herself slowly into Jasper's life, meeting him when he comes to town and letting his instinctive attraction and fondness for her grow into trust over a span of months (even moving towns when he does). She doesn't say anything about him switching to an animal diet, either; she tells him that she eats animals, but trying to influence him at this stage could alter her chances of seeing Sadie. Better to just let him murder.

Once they're at the right place, trust-wise, she tells him that she is already as in love with Sadie as she is with him, due to her psychic visions, and she asks to meet her. At first, Jasper isn't ready, but after she's asked a few more times, he allows it.

Alice has to be extra careful, because she wants to just run and hug Sadie as soon as she sees her, but if she makes a sudden move, Jasper will react badly. (Especially since the speed that comes with her small frame makes her a genuine threat to Sadie, even with Jasper there.) Not to mention, she has to endear herself to Sadie, whose only experience with vampires has been abduction.

"Sadie Lily Gilder," Alice says, barely restraining her excitement. "I am Alice Cullen. I'm your other soulmate."

Sadie is mostly perplexed and a little exasperated, but Jasper feels suddenly as if the sun has broken through the clouds. (Which means a lot, since he was already happy before.) Alice's joy at finally getting to see Sadie seems to fill the room, and this is his first time hearing Sadie's middle name, and...

"I like seeing you together," he realizes.

For the next few months, Alice is allowed to visit Sadie every now and then, under full supervision from Jasper. He can feel that she loves Sadie as much as he does, but he's still got to be careful. Humans are so fragile, and he's used to only trusting himself. When she comes, Alice brings Sadie little gifts that she never thought to ask Jasper before. She brings a new spritely energy to the house that Sadie comes to enjoy.

The following few months, (and after Jasper has watched her hunt animals) she's allowed to stay over full-time. They watch Sadie sleep, together. She's able to answer more of Sadie's questions.

Alice introduces Jasper to the idea of joining a family she's seen in their future. He doesn't want that many vampires around their Sadie, but as always, Alice says just the right things: they're all animal eaters; she hasn't seen a single future where any of them hurt Sadie; and the eldest of them could change Sadie for them.

(She also has to convince Sadie to want to become immortal with them, since she knows that Carlisle and Edward would be against turning her against her will. It helps that Sadie has been captured by a vampire for a while, now, and being a vampire herself would give her a chance of exerting some control over her future.)

When they meet the Cullens, Alice acts like they're already best friends. Jasper is more formal in asking the patriarch if he can change Sadie for them.

Edward calls them out on kidnapping Sadie, but Sadie points out that, unless things come to blows between the Cullens and Alice and Jasper, the only way for her to no longer be kidnapped is by becoming a vampire.

So Carlisle changes her, and she stays with the Cullens so that she can have someone to help her overcome her thirst during her newborn years without slipping up and hurting someone. Alice and Jasper stay with the Cullens, too (and the Cullens tell Jasper that he has to switch to the animal diet if he wants to stay). Eventually, all three of them are close enough to various members of the Cullen family that they just sort of become part of it.

Having been kidnapped at the start of all this, though, Sadie exerts her autonomy in pretty much every way. In her newborn years, in which she is more temperamental (though that isn't saying much; she's still pretty mellow by newborn vampire standards), she confronts Jasper for what he did, and he pretty much just takes it; things have worked out pretty great for him, so it's only fair to let her get it off her chest. Sadie can feel the bond between her and Alice and Jasper, but she can also feel that he didn't have to do what he did. She goes to visit her human family, once she knows that she won't eat them; she and Rosalie go on lengthy road trips; she and Emmett go to football games; she goes volunteering and home renovating with Esme; she learns languages and musical instruments from Edward; she learns vampire history from Carlisle and even joins him on a trip to Volterra.

She lets Alice buy her clothes but overall gives Jasper a wide berth.

Alice, having gained full trust from Jasper, is able to convince him to allow Sadie her space for a while, as she comes to terms with everything that happened. Jasper agrees, since Sadie isn't so fragile anymore and he knows that Alice is keeping an eye on her. So long as they know where Sadie is at all times, and so long as she is accompanied by at least one of the Cullens, he can bear to spend uninterrupted one-on-one time with his newest mate, especially if doing so will help Sadie to forgive him.

The diet of animal blood makes him less wild (but more tense, as he can feel that he is weaker), and the newness of everything in Sadie's life raises her spirits. Maybe eventually she'll be willing to hang out with him again, but it'll take a few years.

"You guys look pretty tense, is something the matter?" I closed my laptop and set it on the couch beside me, the Cullen's were all acting weird since I came over an hour ago and it really bugged me. Jasper offered a strained smile, "Sorry (y/n)", I shook my head, "No need to apologise Jas, I'm just curious", I offered a lopsided grin, Carlisle came into the living room with a worried look, "I don't mean to disrupt, but Alice says he's almost here", who? Had they invited a friend? No, no, Carlisle looks too worried for it to be that. So who was it? I saw Edward walk in with Alice and Rosalie hot on his heels, Rosalie looked furious. "You can't possibly think that he'd live to even get near her! Much less find out she's his-" "Enough Rosalie", Carlisle broke her off, giving her a look you'd usually give someone who was about to spill a secret. I stood up, "What's going on Carlisle? Who's almost here?", Alice trippled over to Jasper and answered instead, "Riley Biers, he wants to get revenge for what Edward did to Victoria", I still don't understand, "What do you me-", Alice froze, "He's here", I started freaking out a bit on the inside, no one was really telling me anything, I fisted my hands in my coat pockets, against the curves of my body.

The moment I laid eyes on Riley my world shifted, something drew me to him, and I think my body moved towards him, but Rosalie held my back by my shoulders, "No (y/n)!", I didn't say anything, I was too invested in Riley, he was being restrained by Emmett at the moment, and he was struggling prefusely against him, but Jasper sent a wave of calm over him which made Riley stop struggling.

It was another while of Riley refusing to listen to Edwards words before Rosalie decided to just kill him, she let go of me and I felt the adrenaline move my body forward. I stood protectively in front of Riley, "Don't kill him! Please Rosalie", Carlisle smiled, Jasper chuckled, "What a turn of events" his southern drawl carried his words, I looked back at Riley over my shoulder, when we made eye contact I saw Riley's eyes widen, his mouth parting a bit, "I... You..." Riley couldn't seem to form the right words, but Carlisle explained, "She's your mate Riley, Victoria never was"

"No, they can't be mates! Carlisle he'll kill her!" Rosalie's angry voice rang throughout the forest, but my eyes were glued to Riley's. "Rosalie, you know how mates work, you'd never be able to kill your mate, no matter what, your love for them would be to strong, you'd end up killing yourself if you killed them" Jasper tried to reason with his adoptive sibling, but I was still entranced with Riley, Emmett let him go, much to Rosalie's dismay but Carlisle kept her at bay.

I turned to face Riley fully now, he was a good two feet taller than me, and I smiled, "Hi there", he gave a crooked smirk, "Hey".

In the United States, people are required to take temperature checks on their cell phones while those infected with COVID-23 are taken from their homes against their will and forced into quarantine camps, also known as “Q-Zones” or concentration camps, where some fight back against the brutal restrictions. In these camps, the infected are left to die or forcibly get better.

Nico Price, a motorbike courier with immunity, due to the fact he was infected with the virus, is in a virtual relationship with Sara Garcia, a young artist living with her grandmother Lita whose lockdown prohibits them from physical contact. Nico works for Lester, who specializes in delivering packages to wealthy individuals. One of their biggest clients is the Griffins, Piper and William, whose daughter Emma has an auto-immune disorder. William is a former record executive having an affair with May, a singer who makes a living online selling covers of classic songs. May develops a bond with Michael Dozer, a disabled war veteran who works for Lester as a drone operator to keep track of their couriers.

One night, Lita begins to show symptoms of COVID-23 while the sanitation department, led by Emmett Harland, is forcing Sara’s neighbor Alice out of her apartment after getting infected. While each relationship with the members of the Cullen family is different, I do things with all of them. Even though I’m frozen at 21, I am the little sister of the family. Ok so

Book Riley Biers is definitely dead. Like his body was burned. But movie Riley Biers’ “death” happened off-screen. We don’t see his body being burned, just Seth dragging him off. So there’s a possibility for Riley Biers surviving in the movie. Like it could be written and would be believable and yeah. So I’m going to write it but here’s the basic outline 

-Alice sees Riley in a vision, finding out he’s alive and sends Emmett and Jasper to get him. Edward follows bc he reads their minds and they’re going to hurt the boi 

-Riley is highly traumatized cause the woman he thought loved him was going to let him just die so he’s sort of just wandering around the mountain until Emmett and Jasper find him. 

-They want to rough him up but Edward stops them and brings Riley back himself, where he freaks out when Alice immediately runs up and hugs him. He does not know these people and Victoria’s manipulation is still very fresh in his mind, so he’s scared they’re going to kill him

-Jasper has to use his powers to calm him down. Alice says he’s staying; none of the Cullen clan are happy about it, but they trust Alice and her visions so they agree. Riley is vvv confused and thinks they’re going to punish him somehow, but Carlisle firmly reassures him that he doesn’t hurt any of his kids, and other vampires when he can help it 

-Skip this middle part bc I have no idea

-Emmett and Riley end up bonding a little bc Emmett gets bored and wants to wrestle and Riley is the only one there, and they have a lot of fun bc Riley is v strong since he’s still pretty new to being a vampire.

-They end up going into town together and Riley sees his missing person posters and has a bit of a breakdown since Victoria told him that no one in his human life cared about him and that she was the only one. Emmett brings him home and tries to comfort him, but Riley is inconsolable

-He demands on seeing his parents. Everybody knows it’ll end badly, but he cannot be convinced otherwise and so the Cullens bring him to his house. He looks in the window, and when he sees his parents, little brother, and older sister, something in him breaks and he rushes to the front door despite the Cullens trying to stop him.

-Cue extremely tearful reunion and a speech similar to what Bella said to Charlie in Breaking Dawn. He’s ok and safe, but he had to change. His family protests at first, his mother especially, but then Jasper appears in the doorway and says they’ve been taking care of him and they’ll help him adjust until he can go back to college (he doesn’t). Riley uses his persuasion to convince them 

-Skip more stuff. Probably some more bonding with the family, Leah imprints on Riley at one point when Seth senses his presence, gets pissed, and runs over to the Cullen house (where she follows).

-Riley is still very scared of love but Leah reassures him that imprints don’t have to be romantic, it just means that they share some form of unbreakable bond and she’s now his protector. He does fall in love though, and she takes it slowly for him bc he’s dealing with a lot of trauma from his time with Victoria and can’t do everything yet. 

-The events of Breaking Dawn 1 + 2 take place as normal but Riley is there to serve as a witness for Renesmee’s nature. He goes to Bella’s wedding with Leah as his date, and Irina is upset over her presence as well. He’s one of the people killed in Alice’s vision.

The people who knew Nari as a child, wouldn’t ever expect her to belong or even be affiliated with a gang. She had twenty-four years of practice of growing up in a family with riches and in those twenty-four years, she learned how to disguise thew wild child she really was. Between the elegant parties and ridiculous amounts of socializing the young girl learned how to navigate her way around such lifestyle without tarnishing her true reputation. With a smooth attitude and a polite smile, her parents couldn’t be prouder of their daughter. Little did they know of her reputation amongst those her own age. Since she was a kid Nari had a way of gaining information. Nari’s older brother had been a brilliant coder and taught her what she needed to do, in order to gain information from others without their knowledge. Nari eventually chose to make a small wage off of this when she was in high school. She had many clients. Friends who wanted to know if their boyfriends were cheating, or nerds who wanted to know more about someone in order to chat with them easily. Nari loved being both needed and hated at the same time. She had a small group of friends who would often sneak out, go partying and come back without their parents knowing. The benefits of living in a house with two very distant and very separate living quarters.

She felt as though she was on top of her little world until her father passed away. His father was one of the few people she did her absolute best to keep her image and reputation clear. She couldn’t stand the thought of disappointing her father. He exuded so much love and support, that disappointing him simply wasn’t an option. Though her father’s death took a large toll on her. She started to let her effort to keep the strong divide between her image towards parents and social gatherings with the image her peers see. She quickly found herself absorbed in drugs and alcohol. Spending most weekends in a drunken haze. Of course, her mother suspected something though she never once confronted the girl about her behaviour. Nari wasted an entire year of her life until she realized she couldn’t bear the thought of seeing her old house, her mother, or anything related to her father and the life she had. She continued this haze and found herself relying quite a bit on her drug dealer, Alicia Lopez. The two bonded, and she would like to say became distant friends. This proved itself to be true when her dealer found here, on the verge of overdosed on the bathroom floor of a gas station. It’s also that same day did things start to change. She knew she couldn’t return home, though she didn’t want to. Instead, Alicia helped her, in a way a dealer probably shouldn’t.  

Alicia took her under her wing and helped her get clean. Not only did the girl learn to control her drug substance intake, but she began to use her skill her brother had taught her to help the group. One day, she’d overheard a few members wanting to hurt someone based on their lack of payment. Nari, chose to help them. She knew how to find information, specifically someone’s whereabouts. She used the skills her brother had taught her and found a recent purchase history on their credit card. It was safe to say, the few members were impressed and vouched for her to become a prospect. The thrill and excitement of invading someone’s privacy in order to get back at them returned almost instantly. She felt like her old self again, the one who found pleasure in coding and ruining people’s secrets. It also didn’t help that the payout this time around, was so much larger than the pocket change she was getting in high school. Nari gained so much pleasure from the money she made from helping the gang. There was a high about the entire process that caught her attention. She eventually worked her way to the top, and when they moved to New York Garrett asked her to be the apprentice for the president and vice-president of the club. This was an honour to her since he meant she was able to be apart of most of their interactions.

■ WHOSE SIDE ARE YOU ON? ■

Nari used to be bored with life, now that she’s found the devils she has the thrill running through her veins. She plays on the edge of a line she knows she has to be careful not to cross. If her family were ever to find out about her dealings, or her new affiliation, they wouldn’t hesitate to refer to their daughter as a disgrace to the Kim family name. Nari’s ability to find someone’s whereabouts in a matter of minutes was the major reason Garrett had chosen her to be the Devils Apprentice. As the leader of a gang, it’s important for someone to know where he is. That was her job.

■ KEEP THIS AWAY FROM YOUR ENEMIES ■

Since being appointed the gang apprentice, she’s had to pass the baton to another Hacker since her duties as an apprentice would be too much to juggle both. Though, the member they appointed was someone Nari didn’t think too highly of. She thought their skills were incompetent in comparison to hers. The girl has done her best to let go and allow him to take lead, though she couldn’t. In her free time, she often continued to explore the dark web in search of ways to prove the new lead hacker was telling the truth, or leading the gang in the right direction. Back in Texas, Nari first got herself involved with the dark web after the gang lawyer Mr. Henderson and his wife stole the income of the drugs the sold. This wasn’t a hit that was going to hurt the gang much, though they needed to set a reputation. Nari and their debt collector Thomas Rexton searched for a while before giving up. Nari connected with an anonymous source who she asked a small favour from. That small favour soon turned into someone she spoke to on a regular basis. She didn’t know any more than a username, though their friendship seems to have stayed in tack through the dark web. Years later a teenager arrived at the Devils’ Texas clubhouse and asked about their previous lawyer. The young girl was lucky she was the one who found her and not Thomas. She decided to let the girl go, and keep the interaction a secret since she didn’t know anything. After their brief conversation, she asked her anonymous source to look into the girl, finding out that she’d let Mr. Henderson’s only daughter go. Learning about the family ties Nari didn’t regret keeping their interaction a secret. She knew that the teenage girl didn’t know who here parents really were, and who was she to burst that bubble or even get involved.

■ Adelaide Henderson: Adelaide Henderson was the scared teenager who showed up on the doorsteps of the Devils’ Texas clubhouse. Nari will always remember the name Henderson since it’s been the one name she was never able to find the ex-lawyer who stole from them and that failure in itself weighed on her quite a bit.

■ Emmett Wade: Emmett was the anonymous source whom she’s been talking to for years. His ability to get any piece of information via hacking and coding was remarkable.

■ Wren Ambrose: Believes that Wren isn’t worthy or skilled enough to be Lead Hacker when they worked together in Texas, they often but heads with one another.

Carlisle and Esme Adopting a Cuban Vampire Would Include

- You don’t remember how you became a vampire. You were on your way to the movie theater in Seattle to meet with your cousins and the next you were pulled into a dark alleyway by someone named Riley.

- When you woke up you were in some log cabin with other vampires. Riley explained that there were older vampires in the surrounding area and that there was a war coming soon. 

- You wanted no parts so you dipped as soon as possible. No one noticed as you broke off from your group when you went hunting.

- You had no sense of where you were so you just walked until you got to a place called Forks; it was nice and quiet and out of the way. A nice change of pace so you found an apartment. There was no way Riley would find you here.

- You were out in Port Angeles when she saw you. She knew right away because you weren’t like any human. She said her name was Esme and asked if you had a place to stay.

- You told her that you had a place but she didn’t feel too comfortable about someone your age being out on your own, but she told you to call if you needed anything.

- She was part of the “enemy clan” Riley had told you about but she didn’t seem evil. She reminded you of your mom and you kinda missed having her cook papas rellenas. You missed the noise of having siblings. You were 19 years old and definitely not ready to be on your own yet.

- So you called her and she let you move in.

- The Cullens were surprised because this was the last thing they needed with the newborns, and of course they always had Bella with them, which was a problem for you since you were still so young.

- Jasper helped you get used to hunting animals and Edward was always wary of you; didn’t trust you at all and tried going into your mind to find your “ulterior motives” which you didn’t like at all.

- You told them that it was mostly Victoria and Riley Biers who were hunting Bella in order for you to gain your trust and told them the full story.

- The closer it got to the battle the more Jasper and Carlisle took you out of town to get stronger for the battle which meant hunting animals. You didn’t want to do it; what did these sweet creatures ever do to you? But you wanted them to trust you so you just did it

- It was time for the battle against the newborns and you fought with the Cullens and the wolves. Since you were still a newborn, you were a lot stronger than the older vampires and you were ripping your former “roommates” apart which you found pretty easy thanks to Jasper’s teachings the night before.

- When it was all done, Carlisle and Esme sent you back to the house to protect you from the Volturi. You didn’t know who they were but from the sound of things they sounded bad and you wanted to avoid for as long as possible

- Emmett explained to you that since Bella was a human who knew too much about the vampire world, she either had to join them or die, which didn’t make sense to you. Who in the world would believe her if she told someone?

- A few months had passed and you were getting used to your new life. You were always the youngest in your human family and now you were the youngest in your vampire family, besides Bella.

- Esme and Alice redid the attic for you to live in which was nice of them. You had your own room for once which was very exciting; you never had your own room before

- You ordered clothes online since you were still not used to humans; likewise whenever Bella was around you locked yourself in your room since her blood was still tempting

- By the time you had overcome your bloodlust, your eyes had cooled off and you were comfortable enough to be in the same room as Bella and you two were able to bond with the rest of your new family

- Your first test was Bella and Edward’s wedding where you met the other vampires and you were introduced as a “cousin” when you looked like you could’ve been related to Carmen and Eleazar

- When Edward announced that Bella was pregnant you were so shocked because you didn’t know that kind of stuff could happen. It set off a whole chain of events that you weren’t ready for

- Since Bella’s blood wasn’t as appealing you were able to be near her more but you wish it was under different circumstances

- You were in the living room when Bella’s water broke sitting next to Jacob because that was the only way you were able to be next to Bella.

- You helped Edward deliver Renesmee and you stopped him from throwing her out of the window; what if she was able to crawl away and be exposed to humans? 

- So you helped Rosalie with her until Bella woke up, if she woke up. You wondered if she would have a hard time adjusting like you did.

- She didn’t; Bella was able to hold her baby all day and wasn’t in the least tempted and it made you feel bad, that you didn’t make a good vampire or good enough

- Finding out Bella was a shield and being jealous. How come you didn’t get any cool powers?

- Making friends with the nomads; Vladimir and Stefan are your favorites with the Amazons a close second.

- Standing with the Cullens to protect Renesmee and you sort of being like an older sister to her; she also hates animal blood and misses human blood

- Meeting with the Volturi for the first time was just as scary as you imagined, Aro was super creepy.

-When it was proved that Renesmee was not a threat they agreed to leave and check up every now and then.

- Then it got you wondering: if Bella was able to keep her dad in her life, then why couldn’t you keep yours? It’s been six months and they probably thought you were dead; your parents were getting up there in age and you were sure they wouldn’t be able to handle the shock of you appearing on their doorstep.

- As much as you wanted to, you knew you had to let go. The Cullens created a new identity for you and also gave you a new car so you would be able to get around. 

- Bella helping you with your bloodlust since she’s so good at it and the two of you bonding even more and you telling her about your family.

- Renesmee normally doesn’t eat human food but you made platano Maduro fritas since she was curious and she loved it and she wanted you make more food. Bella and Edward were just glad that she was eating human food.

- Her favorites are empanadas, tres leches cake, tamales of any kind,anything sweet and the occasional arroz con pollo.

- Finally feeling like you have a place to belong and Carlisle and Esme being great parental figures; they treat you as if you were their own and loving you unconditionally
