Nalyra can I tell you a secret that I have to get out because it’s eating me up inside to keep it in? I’m not a fan of the show’s version of rockstar Lestat and I’m worried it might ruin season 3 for me. I was excited to see what they would do because Sam is a revelation. When he was unveiled I hate to admit I was disappointed. It was a little cringy. It's a catchy tune but it feels outdated for modern day and I wish your theory of making rockstar Lestat in the past was correct. This version of rockstar Lestat would have been perfect if this happened after San Francisco or the eighty’s but it feels so old already and I’m nervous about it. I’m afraid the show might lose it’s audience because a lot of my friends that haven’t read the books that I got to watch the show and loved it, said the teaser felt like a parody compared to previous seasons and contradicts the shows usual aestic and tone. One of my friends said it was giving her “Twilight levels of cringe” and I wanted to cry. I got offended when they criticized the teaser and tried to justify it, but I didn’t want to admit out loud that I agreed. Please tell me that it’s going to be okay and the show will not suffer in quality. How much of season 2 would you estimate will be rockstar Lestat related? Please understand that I adore Sam and Lestat and I think that's why I’m feeling upset about it. Thank you in advance for letting me vent in a safe space.

It's going to be okay, and the tone shift is part of the VC, part of the books - and now part of the show.

It was always set to come, we just didn't know how.

Now we know - they do it like they did everything on the show so far: by going full in.

You can love or hate that, obviously (I love it^^), but I do think they picked the right aesthetic for the level of camp they're going for with their musical references.

I'm sorry if your friend dismisses it a bit, but, again, that tonal shift is part of the VC! The switch from Louis to Lestat, from book one to two was a very jarring one there as well! They are doing the books, and much closer than I had anticipated.

I think all of modern day in season 3 will be rockstar related. It's the frame for the season, the documentary is the interview now. As Akasha rises while he is still rockstar I bet that will stay so for a while yet.

The show will be okay. They're doing what they did before: namely going full in on the material with the tweaks they want to put to it - and in the way they want to.

The quality will stay. But now we'll have music!!!! By Lestat!!!

So here are all my drawings and arc from the whiteboard. yes this is the part two since i drew a lot, first part is more general this focuses more on kanna!

CREATION OF THE RAT ARMY

So me and janice had a discussion has two fellow rats, and i realized that janice didn't have an actual title, but like they have a kanna blog, also go check them out if you haven't they are cool. So i decided as the Rat lord to knight them as the title of Marquess Mac'n'cheese. So here is us!

then came kaory or know here as @reahustar , came on and wanted to become apart of us, so we gave her a name too. She became the Champion of Roses and well she drew herself too.

so then we kinda just drew ourselves !

also the last in the last drawing none of us drew ourselves, it can be seen by the art style, just as the drawing where i drew kaory champion of roses

and then finnally came the last rat of the day, @runetallem or nagito komeada looking ass in my book, they came and i gave them a name as always, they were knighted as the the Knight of Mouses!

so yeah we have now expanded the rats army, also i forgot but to anyone who doesn't know what a rat is, in short a rat is a silly names for kanna fans.

so yeah it was fun! really cool

Avatar, everything’s the same but Spider is 7 years old and has a head full of Curley hair

spider took after kiri, embracing his wild hair, letting her put beads in it and braid little sections to keep it out of his face.

he was a little too much of a scootch as a kid to get his hair done often so it was left to be free. spider found he loved the feeling wind in his hair, the way it flowed around in the sun, looking like streaks of light. kiri said it made him look pretty, which to him was the utmost compliment, so he kept it just as it was.

norm and max have to put time aside to wash and brush his hair, the kids in the village are fascinated, as it grows longer and longer, thick curly locks running down his back.

with spider no longer trying to take after jakes hair he spends much less time bothering him and much more time sitting in front of kiri letting her do whatever she wants to it. neytiri has to watch him tottle around with beads and braids and wraps in his hair, nearly glowing in the sun, tied up so its not in his eyes, and the ends harbouring leaves that she itches to pick out because, face it, she is a mother whether or not she wants to accept it with spider.

spider doesn't realize it now, but, having his own sense of style, his own sense of self in his hair, it will greatly impact him down the line, but for now, he's just a smiling little kid who loves his hair. spider likes to fiddle with it, braid and unbraid it, put it in a million different styles, and just letting it sprawl out on the grass forest floor by the tree of souls.
