knowing your girlfriend, elysia, ideas like this were so common! so you took no surprise to her skipping into the living room and flopping down on the couch, kicking her shoes off and cuddling into your warm body.

“hiii~” she mused, smiling up at you. “i have a fun idea, hear me out.”

you listened as she spoke about how aponia and griseo baked cookies together that morning, on the behalf of griseos request. she saw and she thought it was cute, and now she wants to do the same thing with you, too. 

you nodded, before lightly pushing her off of you and getting up to check and make sure you have the right ingredients. 

you didn’t.

so, that made for an eventful late night shopping trip with elysia! you came in needing flower and chocolate chips. you both knew that. you both repeated it to yourselves with each other over 40 times, at least.

you spent over 100 dollars and have a cartful of grocery bags. whoopsies! 

but it’s okay, you got to go out with your girlfriend. she made it fun anyways. but back onto the point!

you two immediately went to work in the kitchen, with elysia telling you the ingredients and you mixing them together. your ipad was filled with flour, due to elysia wanting to make the dry mixture but accidentally spilling a whole thing of flour everywhere. you laughed at the sight, making her laugh too.

there was also another accident in the kitchen, where you both “accidentally” put a whole entire bag of chocolate chips into the mixture (where you later on regret it), leading to even more laughter.

she tried to initiate a flour fight a couple times, but you didn’t necessarily feel like cleaning even more of a mess up tonight. she understood, so she just bounced around the kitchen, bringing you all the ingredients you needed. 

thats when she brought out heart and flower shaped cookie cutters! when she laid them down on the counter, you swore you could see her eyes glimmer with happiness. you smiled, feeling incredible that you could bring such a heartwarming experience to your gorgeous girlfriend. 

“alrighty, into the oven they go!” she laughed a little, before putting pink oven mitts on her hands and sliding the cookie pan onto the top rack. “these look sooooo yum. i hope they turn out alright…” 

you pat her back, and she grins. “they’ll be fine, i just hope all that chocolate poured into them wont do too much harm. these are gonna be really sweet, but if they don’t turn out right, we can always make another batch.”

she nodded. “and we could relive this night all over again. this was a lot of fun, y’know.”

“you’re right, it was,” you chuckled, before turning around and looking at the mess awaiting. “but if we don’t clean this mess up soon, we’re gonna get a bug problem. i don’t think either of us could even fathom finding bugs all the time.”

“ew, i don’t even want to think about that,” elysia makes a disgusted face before turning around and wetting a washcloth. “bugs are so nasty, you’re gonna be the one squashing them if they find their way in here!”

you laughed, cleaning up your mess before taking a seat on the couch with a glass of cool red wine in your hand, elysia following you. 

“how many more minutes until the cookies are done, did you check?” you look over at her, watching her pacewalk over to the oven. 

“we can take them out now!” she calls, putting back on the oven mitts and sliding the cookie pan out of the oven.

when they cool off, you two turn on your show of choice, eating your heart shaped cookies. the chocolate was too much, but its the experience that counts, right?

Basic Backstory : I was born into the Octarian Army, and quickly rose to the top of the ranks due to my exceptional fighting skill. Before the Octarians steal the Great Zapfish, they send out their best Octoling soldiers to scope out the Inkopolis Plaza area, me being among them. I plan my escape for a few days while on these missions, and eventually flee into Inkopolis a few days before the Great Zapfish is stolen.

Afterwards… : I run into Agent 3 shortly after my escape, and debrief her on everything that has led up to this point. Since I have nowhere to go, she lets me live with her and shows me around Inkopolis. When news breaks that the Great Zapfish has been stolen, we find ourselves in Octo Valley, and Captain Cuttlefish yaps on about “THE OCTARIANS ARE UPON US!!!” and “YOU HAVE THAT LOOK IN YOUR EYES!!!” and we become Agents 0 and 3!

Sentients, Terran media is fascinating. By this one’s observations, it can be largely broken into two separate areas. This one would label them as: 

Fiction - A uniquely Terran phenomena, fiction encompasses stories and tales that are known to be untrue but are made purely to entertain. Media under this category often, but not always, imbues a select Terran with abilities that are extraordinary. This Terran, known as ‘the protagonist,’ is then placed in situations and conflicts that require their unique abilities to surpass. When the protagonists themselves are not extraordinary, the situations often are.

Non-Fiction - By conventional linguistic dynamics, non-fiction, meaning ‘not fiction,’ should encompass any media that does not fall under fiction. Non-Fiction media will be either reports on events that happened, or recreations of events that happened earlier in history.

Further than that the Terrans have a form of media that, to this one's knowledge, is also unique to Terra. Animation. Thousands upon thousands of images with only minute differences are played sequentially and at various speeds to create the illusion of motion.

The effect is too slow for the perception speed of this one unfortunately. More fortunately, the ship’s AI was able to artificially increase the rate and number of frames in the downloaded media for this one’s race.

The effect is quite astonishing.

Additionally, a delay has thrown our course off track. A large grouping of space debris was on a collision course with this one’s ship. A delay of approximately three Lums is expected.

As this post seems a bit short, this one will ponder on some aspects of Terran physiology.

At first glance, a Terran is relatively hairless aside from patches of hair covering the top of the cranium, under the manual limbs, covering the groin, and, on male specimens particularly, spatterings across the torso. As this one said, this is merely at first glance. Upon closer inspection of the data from their internet, the entire body of a Terran is covered in an extremely fine layer of hair. Function is unknown at this point.

Unlike many sentients in the Greater Galaxy, the Terrans have somewhat significant sexual dimorphism. Meaning the male and female specimens can vary greatly in physical characteristics. This dimorphism starts as largely insignificant in the Terran’s larval years, and stays insignificant for 1.1 to 1.5 Terran decades before a process called ‘puberty’ begins.

During puberty, the Terran’s brain begins to secrete various levels of hormones and the dimorphism progresses based on the levels of these hormones. The end results appear to vary among individuals, so this one will wait until the opportunity to interview a Terran becomes available.

The one at the bottom is the Inpherno! Gods from the mortal and Elysian realm are not allowed there because of the propaganda that they’re naturally hostile and evil beings.

Trident lives in Playground and is the older sister figure to Skateboard, Coil, and Boombox, though she’s kinda childish sometimes.

Subspace is dating the literal deity that created the base for the crystals he and Medkit made. Her name is Fermion (I think). Shes addicted to his rot and would consume it in exchange for (TEMPORARILY!!) curing him.

Thank you, I loved your PSA. I am a minor in psychology so I certainly know about confirmation bias. Also what do you, yourself, think about Elysia?

I'm disappointed by the change in direction her character suffered from between ER ch2 and 3, because it feels like very bad writing to me. I loved her a lot as a mysterious and morally gray character, but I'm not interested in her as a shallow "perfect" girl who has never done a single wrong in her life ever.

Off the top of my head (sorry it's mostly Mobius facts) she has committed identity theft, broke into her friend's computer to look at her files, how is that not wrong? She claims she only lied once in her life but... I mean... she's lied a lot, objectively? She lied about Kalpas being restrained by Aponia to get MOTH to agree to free him, and she lied to Mobius to steal her badge, for example. That already makes two!

It just feels like the game went insane and started lying to my face!

Her entire point in the first chapter of ER was that they had lived lives full of human joys and mistakes, which is an antithesis to the perfection they also try to slap on Elysia. She was a character who seemed to hide a lot pain, but then they made her smile into her entire personality, as if they'd forgotten it was a mask. Just... who's that??

If we were to stick to canon, then no. But screw canon, yes!
