El is an early riser. Max is not.

Both of them enjoy staying up late and just hanging out

El goes to bed before Max.

El gets sick often due to having a weak immune system because she wasn't exposed to germs as a child. She's also a horrible sick person.

Max somehow never gets sick, but when she does, she is WORSE than El.

They have weekly date nights where Mike and Will come over to watch the kids. They do the same for Mike and Will.

They have 3 kids, aged 5, 2, and 4 months. (I haven't picked out the names yet)

El doesn't have to work as the government pays her money to not tell anyone about the lab. However, she works in a small coffee shop for fun and an escape from the family.

Max works as a school counselor. She chose this job to help students who struggled with the same things she did as a teen.

El is very clingy. Max doesn't mind because it's El.

El takes a lot of pictures of her family. Jonathan comes over to give her pointers sometimes.

Max usually hates being in pictures, but she doesn't mind El's photography.

El still gets nightmares about once a week about the lab. Max is always there to hold and comfort her. El doesn't have a therapist.

Max rarely gets nightmares about Billy's death or her Vecna visions. She has a therapist she sees once a week to help her cope.

El loves all holidays. She puts up decorations at least a month before the holiday. Max couldn't care less, but she helps her decorate out of love.

Why am I one of like three total people who actually want Elmax to be end game through and through. I know it probably won’t happen, but I wish it would. I miss when season 3 came out and the Elmax fandom was alive and well (or at least better than now). Season four gave us crumbs and now no one ships them anymore. 😭✋🏼

Seeing the Elmax tag flooded with everything but Elmax is genuinely so upsetting. Like I find every single ship, especially mlm ships which like slay, but why is Elmax tagged if they have two scenes in the story or they’re just besties. It frustrates me so bad when Elmax is tagged and then it’s like they’re both in straight ships in the story and they’re only tagged as besties like bruh 😭😭

Someone force me to finally finish my works and contribute to the Elmax fanfic community 😬 should I post my modern day nightmare Elmax au?? I wrote it a few years ago and kinda hate it, but am not even close to finishing the current fic I’m writing.

A few little Stranger Things headcannons :)

All kinds of things ranging from Miwi, Byler, (Semi-platonic) Steddie and (platonic) Elmax :) (Mostly Byler)

-That pretty girl in class that liked Will saw him doodling Mike and thought it was her.

-Will survived in the Upside Down purely out of spite and ‘if I die people (Mike) will be sad’

-Mike keeps every single drawing Will gives him. -Mike’s favorite song is ‘Should I Stay Or Should I Go’ because of Will. -When they were younger, Mike would bring Will little things like flowers, rocks, or bracelets he found, and he'd always keep them. -Will pays close attention to the kinds of things Mike likes, expecially songs. Every year on his birthday, Will makes him a little mixtape with his favorite songs on it. -Eddie mindlessly flirts with Steve, but when he flirts back he instantly gets all flustered and starts stumbling over his words. -Eleven and Max would randomly go to the mall and judge people's outfits when they got bored.

-Eleven struggles with words that sound the same but have different meanings. EX: 'Their' 'There' & 'They're,' 'Your' & 'You're' or 'we're' 'were' & 'where' -Eleven moves things around when she's bored just to fuck with people. Moving that one table just a few centimeters to the left without telling anyone, making random paintings crooked, etc. -Will has a weird obsession with bugs and plants, but he can't keep plants alive and it's too hard for him to catch bugs. -When they were younger, Mike and Will would spend most of their day (and night) hanging out in Castle Byers reading comics, talking about things they'd done recently, drama, etc. Sometimes they'd catch a bunch of fireflies in a jar and set it in there, and Will would just kinda stare at it like 'wow shiny light goes brrr' -Max lets Eleven brush/mess with their hair while they talked about drama or whatever. -Vecna couldn't... Vecna Argyle or Jonathan even if they wanted to. They're always a little too high and he can't deal with it. -Will is really good with guns for WHATEVER reason and Mike is infact not good with any weapon and the idea of Will with a gun makes him unreasonably flustered. -Eleven does not get the concept of boys liking boys/girls liking girls being 'weird.' (W: 'I like boys' E: 'So??? I like boys too???') -Robin and Will know immediately upon meeting eachother. ('I know what you are') -Sometimes the kids would go over to Steve's when they needed a 'break' from home/just to hang out and he'd just turn on a movie and go to sleep/hang out with Eddie like an actual babysitter -Dustin sees Steve (and Eddie) as a father figure(s) and Lucas (most of the original party) as a brother(s) -Will loves the rain. Watching the rain, being outside when it rains, just rain. Mike does not love the rain. Mike is like an angry cat when it comes to rain. Together they are the perfect balance.

What Polyamory Does For The It Fandom VS In The St Fandom.

These are some brain worms I've had for a while and I've decided to share, regardless if it makes some people mad. Although that is truly not the intent of this post. Anyways. If you haven't been in the It fandom and only have stayed in the St fandom this post may not make sense but I do encourage you to read it.

I joined the It fandom in 2017. I'm one of those few people who were in the It fandom first before moving over to also join the St fandom in late late 2017/early 2018. I had a blog for consuming content but I didn't start making content until 2020 for the It fandom and more recently and regularly for the St fandom. Anywho what I'm trying to say is that I've seen a lot.

I loved many ships in the It fandom and one of the main ships is Poly Losers Club. This is the first fandom I've seen where a poly ship was one of the more popular ones. Even if someone didn't ship all the Losers, throuple and quatrouples (is that how you say it?) have always been popular in this fandom.

Because it is almost unanimously agreed across the fandom, that whether platonically or romantically, all the Losers love each other. Even the most die hard of reddie shippers, the fandom's most popular ship, can often agree on certain fanon headcannons, Stan and Richie practiced their first kiss on each other, Eddie's first crush was on poor oblivious Bill. And that comes back to the agreement that all the Losers love each other. Ships in this fandom have never had an issue coexisting. If someone shipped something different from someone it was always more like "oh that's not my favorite but I definitely see where you're coming from'" OR they're like "yeah no they're in love too," Hardly ever any belittling or any superiority complexes.

That's what makes being in this fandom fun and easy.

Poly Losers even often features a gay man and a women and I've read many beautiful fics where this is explained as they're more best friends than lovers but Eddie doesn't love Bev any less because she's a woman. This fandom allows Eddie and Bev to have an amazing and emotionally intimate relationship because I feel like this fandom does understand, for the most part, that platonic love is just as important as romantic love.

Now on to the St fandom. There are some poly party shippers out there but they are far and few. And there is SO MUCH shipping discourse. Yes I could talk about Mileven and Byler but come on, it goes beyond that. It's with Jany and Stancy, Ronance and Rockie. Elmax and Lumax, and Steddie and Stonathan. Just about every ship you think of there is an alternate ship that people will fight for. They will belittle you for shipping something they don't, and insist that your ship is nothing but platonic. That,,,that just doesn't happen in the It fandom. You know the joke, "All the Losers had a crush on Bill at one point," I think that in itself says a lot. Bill, the arguably least liked character, (my poor bb), has the joke that all the losers had a crush on him at one point.

I'm getting off track. Anyways I'm not saying that shipping everyone together in a poly sense would fix everything with these shipping wars but i do believe why there was never any shipping wars in the It fandom was because of Poly Losers. Also when I talk about poly in St I mean it like Poly Party and Poly teenage crew. Not together, I hate that I have to clarify that.

In the St fandom, it's just not as universally agreed that everyone loves each other, even in the basic platonic sense. All anyone seems to care about in the St fandom is romantic love. A lot of shippers want to be right, they want to prove that their ship will be cannon which just,,,sucks the fun right out fandom spaces.

Canon, fanon, why can't people just make cute fan art and talk in babbles about thoughts they have on a ship. Why do you have to be right about what's going to be the canon ship? Why do certain people feel the need to put down and even to the extent as far as bullying people who ship something different? I've never seen a fandom so focused on 'canon pairings' like the st fandom. (Side note I was never in the sherlock and supernatural fandoms, I knew to mention this)

The party, like the losers, are friends who have been through turmoil that have bound them together for a lifetime. I don't care what pairing you give me from st, whether it be a platonic or a romantic one, I will tell you that those characters deeply care for each other.

Side note: it's worth a mention that the Duffer brothers originally wanted to film the It remake and when they didn't get it, we got Stranger Things. It can be argued that the Party is based off the Losers club so you know what that means? THEY ALL LOVE EACH OTHER. Take it as platonic or romantic idc.

Again, I don't think that poly party is the answer to ending the shipping wars. I do think however that if people could remember how much the party members mean to each other, that that could make less tiring fandom spaces.

Okay I'm done. I just thought this was an interesting point on how it's been like in the It fandom vs the St fandom.

Wait I was doing tags and I forgot to mention that there are few people who ship Elumax and Stoncy, two throuples and kudos to them. They're just worth a mention, I didn't forget about ya'll

Stranger Things Characters and Ships as Taylor Swift Songs

I'm back on my fan-casting ST characters as random things I like. Today, Midnights.

(also let me know if you want any of the other albums because I have so many big emotions)

Lavender Haze: The skittle six (older kids) "You don't really read into my melancholia" is Jonathan and Argyle. Jon is like those dogs with the big sad eyes and Argyle just loves it. "I've been under scrutiny. You handle it beautifully" is Steddie, from both sides. Steve with his past King Steve and Eddie seeing past it and loving him anyways. Eddie with the witch hunt and Steve staying by his side. The verse about the bride and past history is Ronance. Also "lavender haze" just sounds like queer stoners, so bonus points to the boys here.

Maroon: Stancy. I think Nancy did love Steve but not the way she thought she did. "The burgundy on my t-shirt" and the Halloween party. I also think they fought a lot towards the end and we just didn't see it. I also think Nancy regrets the fight right after. She didn't want it to end in a fight, because she does love him, just not romantically. I think Steve would hold a lot of anger right after but eventually forgive her.

Anti-Hero: Steve. He still sees himself as the jerk he used to be and struggles to forgive himself. Also the line "Pierced through the heart but never killed" and the fact this man takes beating after beating

Snow On The Beach: Elmax. I have a headcannon that El loves the sky and watching the stars and she would 100% stargaze with Max during their sleepovers sometimes. She would totally compare Max to stars, like in the line "I searched aurora borealis green, I've never seen someone lit from within" and Max would without a doubt respond with "You're so weird, I love you" because that girl cannot take a compliment but wants El to know how much it means to her. Also, El would base her romance on the movies she watches with Max

You're On Your Own, Kid: Jonathan and Steve. Jon was practically raising himself and helping raise Will. I love Joyce, but I think she forgets Jonathan is still a kid too. The best of friends line can be about Argyle or Nancy. He said he wanted to go to school close so he can be with Will, when his dream school is apparently NYU. "I gave my blood, sweat, and tears for this" could be about all of them, but Jon was the one who had to pick out Wills casket; by himself. He had to protect Will from hearing their parents fight. He took on the load of the divorce and picked up all the pieces; his, Will's, and Joyce's. For Steve, his parents suck. We've all decided that. But he filled his house with people via the parties and the bridge is very Steve coded. I need Steve and Jonathan to become friends in season 5 or will cry. They're opposite sides of the same coin.

Midnight Rain: Nancy. She just wants to make a name for herself. She feels guilty about the fight with Steve but also feels she wouldn't get what she wanted with him. Also, "a deep portal, time travel. All the love we unravel and the life I gave away." Season 4 and going back to when she was still with Steve. I think it also fits with Jonathan, with the fight about the job at the paper. These boys just wanted the "dream life," Steve with his white picket fence and family, Jonathan with a decent job. Nancy wants more.

Question...? : Stancy. This album is very Stancy coded. This song specifically about Nancy cheating on Steve with Jonathan and Steve thinking the sleepover in season one was cheating too. Also Mike and El in season 4.

Vigilante Shit: El. Season 2 with the sister plot but also season 3 with her and Max having the makeover after the breakup.

Bejeweled: El and Will to Mike. Mike needs to get his shit in order and stop ignoring his people. But also, the line “some guy said my aura’s moonstone just cause he was high” being about Argyle is so funny to me

Labyrinth: Will. “I’ll be getting over you my whole life” The fear of falling for someone you think won’t ever love you back. Mike was the only friend who really showed he cared about Will’s trauma. “You know how much I hate how everyone expects me to just bounce back”

Karma: Honestly, the closest I can get is El and hitting Angela in the face with the roller skate.

Sweet Nothing: Lumax. I think Max would start writing to deal with her trauma after everything, and I think the only people she'd feel comfortable showing would be Lucas and El. El is in California, so Lucas gets to read all her writing. Pair that thought with the verse about writing a poem. Also, I think Lucas will fully just love her and not ask for anything, which scares her but also makes her feel loved in ways she never thought was possible.

Mastermind: Steve. That man is so much smarter than anyone gives him credit for, specifically in his ability to work a crowd and get people to like him.

The Great War: Byler. They're endgame, let's be honest here. Also, imagine Mike gets hurt in the final battle and Will is holding him, trying to keep him awake and he's crying. Mike is looking up at him and whispers "Don't cry. I promise if we make it out, I'll make sure to never make you cry again."

Bigger Than The Whole Sky: Steddie (I’m sorry)

Paris: Elmax (Specifically El) and season 3 with them living in their own world at the beginning and then nothing goes wrong and they have a Summer of sleepovers together and they're happy and in love

High Infidelity: Nancy. Her cheating on Steve, yes, but also, Steve and the movie theater in season 1. Jonathan ditching the plan they made together without talking to her. Nancy growing up in an environment where romantic love is not shown well and the only experiences she's had have been filled with monster hunting and guys who did her wrong.

Glitch: Steddie. Opposite sides of town, supposed to be just-friends, situation-ships, things in your system. Love them.

Would've, Could've, Should've: All the girls tbh. El and growing up the way she did. Max and dealing with Billy and having an unhealthy home life in general. Robin, Nancy, and Erica and getting thrown into the Upside Down. Even Joyce, with her ex husband.

Dear Reader: Nancy and Joyce. They mirror each other in very interesting ways, I think. They're both very headstrong and fierce. I think they also both struggle with feeling like they aren't enough though. We know Nancy blames herself for Barb. And season 2 with Joyce being so overprotective of Will shows that she most likely felt she could have saved him if she was there more. They both feel like they're falling apart.

Elmax headcannons because I love them so much

El caught feelings for Max first, but Max realised how she felt before El

Hopper was over the moon that El was finally spending time with someone other then Mike, but he still insists on the 3 inches rule

Max makes the biggest deal over El's birthday since she's never had a proper birthday party before

El keeps a mini First-Aid kit on her at all times for Max's skateboarding injuries

Max occasionally braids El's hair and El will refuse to go near her hair for fear of ruining the braid

El has a notebook where she's written everything Max has ever said she's liked and uses it when buying her gifts

Max draws random pictures on El's hands when she gets bored

El got flirting advice from Steve and uses the most awful pickup lines on Max, who goes red every time

Max's skateboard is covered with stickers El has given her

They both swap scrunchies with each other

El has a box filled with the second halves of those BFF (she couldn't find any 'girlfriends') necklaces - the first halves given to Max - and insists on wearing as many as physically possible

Eddie and Steve try dating in secret but the kids keep interrupting their date nights or are just always around.

Dustin keeps crashing movie night and insists on sitting between them.

Lucas interrupts their dinner to plot how he’s going to win Max back.

Max bangs on Eddie’s trailer in the middle of the night because she wants to show them something cool El can do. (Eddie and Steve struggle to put their clothes back on in record time).
