There’s so much potential to be had ! I’m excited to see where they go with the story, especially since Jasmine and Winn now know about fairies. I feel like we will see Hazel feeling obligated to make wishes for them, and burn herself out in the process, not realising that it’s okay for her to use her wishes for herself- after all, they’re meant for her. We could see everyone learn a lesson on boundaries, and that just because they know about the fairies, doesn’t mean they’re all entitled to wishes, as it causes Hazel to stress and burn out. It would be a great display of Hazel’s personal struggles, desire to keep her friends (especially with how much Antony leaving shook her up), and how her selflessness may end up being a factor into her mental health. She needs to learn a little self-care, and that’s okay !!

If you are considering watching the final Elite season to find out what happened to your OG favorites, let me save you the trouble. If you still want to watch season 8, more power to you, I only made it through because I was watching with a good friend and lots of wine.

OMAR: still struggling. We found out last season that he has been dealing with depression and anxiety ever since Samuel’s death. Now he is occasionally doing better. He manages to get Las Encinas closed down, which makes him happy, so good for him. He also looks to be working as head waiter at Isadora’s club, though I’m not clear on whether he is still doing that at the end.

NADIA: still going after what she wants. Nadia is back in town for reasons, but only briefly. She’s set to return to New York, where she has scored an internship with the UN. This is putting her on the path to achieve the dream she shared in the Elite pilot (“When I finish my studies, I’d like to be a professional diplomat at the United Nations.”)

LU: still looking out for the ones she loves. We only get one brief Lu mention from Nadia. Apparently Las Encinas’ alumni association does not let in scholarship students (a totally normal rule for an alumni association to have). But Lu pulled some strings to make sure they admit her bestie, so that Nadia can benefit from the association’s great contacts.

That’s it. No appearances by any OGs except for Omar and Nadia. And no new info on what anyone else is up to.

It's another Sit & Chat episode with Kelli! Go and watch the entire thing because it's just great to listen to these guys and they're funny, but I went ahead and put timestamps to the parts where they talked about LR, MM, or LR:EF

53:30-53:53 Kelli asks if the producers called the LR:EF cast up to wrap up LR:EF, would they (Bradley and Jake) do it. Bradley and Jake immediately say "No", but they also say that if they were asked to do just one more episode then they would do it (Kelli agrees she would do one more too). Bradley then begins to ask about what if LR:EF got wrapped up as a feature film instead, to which Kelli begins to share her thoughts about Bradley's proposal of the idea but never finishes what she was going to say

53:59-54:35 They joke about Billy living in the wilderness because of how reclusive he is now. None of them know where Billy is, and he doesn't keep in contact with them and vice versa. Jake had recently seen Billy's brother Eric and asked him how Billy was doing, but apparently Billy is doing fine and just hanging out. Bradley and Jake would love to talk with Billy again though

1:04:10- 1:06:20 Kelli says that if she could go back in time with the knowledge she has now she would go back to Lab Rats and do things differently, like be more serious and ask more questions about the show and its production

I want one of the mentors to realize their family doesn’t make them happy because of the 10th Hunger Games. Their tribute, a complete and total stranger who has every right to hate them for being complicit in what the Capitol is putting them through, makes them feel better than their own flesh and blood.

So they decide they’re not gonna lose that and overthrow society in the name of perserving the one unquestionably good thing that’s happened in their life. Maybe they take down their family in the process, maybe they overtake their family instead. Either way they get to break open the cage door in the zoo and free the tributes who are Very Confused as to what is happening but not complaining in the slightest. Their tribute now has a rich friend to solve all their problems ❤️
