one Draco/Percy soulmate au concept I've had stuck in my head for a very long time is them meeting like super young

Like I'm talking no way to hide it because they're too young to realize that maybe they should

Like Draco barely remembers life before meeting his soulmate young

Point is Draco is not like as mean in this world because of having a good influence

Anyway all that preamble to say I'm thinking about Draco being kind of insufferable about his Soulmate being a prefect and then head boy

like anytime a professor tells the students to follow their prefects somewhere he is immediately at Percy's side instead of you know the actual Prefect he's meant to follow because "You're my prefect" type bs reasoning

and mixing that concept with the whole you can visit your soulmate in their house concept that i really like and you can pull alot of nonsense in those first three years

guess who finished talia’s ref/propaganda post!

talia is one of my oldest splat ocs (both in creation age [july 2016] and character age at 24) and honestly not much has changed about his design since i made her! the main difference is literally just some fun new piercings and a lgbt pass

talia is 5’10” and the middle child in his family! he has one older sister (taller still, a firefighter named moselle) and one younger sister (ren, new ranked battler) and they all come from calamari county where they were primarily raised by their mother :]

he moved to inkopolis at 15 to get into turf + to try to meet the squid sisters since they’re from the same area! there, he met peri, and they became roommates for about a year before they started dating

talia is highly money motivated mostly because she wants to make sure ren and her mother especially can live an easy life. she also wants to do something good with her life like moselle, who she looks up to as a hero.

sooo after a couple of years turfing with peri (an e-liter main) and working part time at the crust bucket, grizzco opened and the two decided to check it out!

turns out they’re very good at it + get paid very well as a result so that quickly becomes their priority and are very consistently ranked at profreshional

talia believes he’s doing something good to help out both mr. grizz and inkadia so he’s happy

after a while, grizzco’s splatlands branch opened and the two were forcibly relocated invited to move to the splatlands to help out with egg retrieval and training, and subsequently hit eggsecutive vp with victoria and fiorello in their now complete quad

talia knows jacinthe (my agent 3) but at the moment he does not know anything about the true nature of grizzco.

talia is a very trusting person and will typically take whats in front of him at face value. as mentioned before, she’s very tall and is pretty loud/high energy, so can be unintentionally overbearing when meeting new people. he also has the worst name memory ever so will typically nickname everyone he meets to something he can easily remember (peri is a nickname! jury’s out if he remembers her actual name) such as eggs for victoria and safety for fiorello. however, talia is very afraid of being perceived as a rude person, so tries very hard to be seen as the opposite, typically with gifts. can be unexpectedly emotional—cried over clam mochi being different when homesick, whenever big man loses, etc

her favorite idol in the splatlands is big man because she feels like she relates the best to him (and often feels sorry for him). his favorite splatbands are diss pair and front roe, but feels no connection to squid squad.

splatfest wise, he will consider his favorite idol’s alignment first before his own preferences. ex. he’s terrified of ghosts but likely will be on big man’s team for splatoween

in my imagination, his tentacles are box braids in human form :]

“Why Cécile?” Elise asked far too earnestly.  Camille laughed with an air of bitterness about her, though only the blonde vampire knew it was to hide her sadness for the long-deceased Cécile Volanges.  Audrey shook their head, thinking. But nothing came to their witty head that is the coquettish vixen had been stumped.  “I don’t know, Elise,” Audrey said, “Cruelty? Fascination? Lust? Selfish desires, the need to ruin a most amicable and well-endowed by means and appearance charming young ingenue?” The raven-haired vampire asked. She was fixing her pink sweater and mini skirt most gaudily decorated with bows, mimicking the rococo style and colouring. Elise had taken a year of art theory, enough to put the pieces together. Meanwhile, Camille adjusted her pastel blue sleeves and pink mini jeans. Looking between Audrey and her sister Camille, neither was very tall or outwardly appeared very strong…�� Elise knew better than to subject them to further interrogations unless it served them she was merely to listen, record and take notes. Perhaps have a historian at one of San Fransisco’s many museums put together a more clear notion of setting and context. Elise had read most of the vampire fiction in her teens, by most — she means anything with vampires that was written with compelling narrative in good prose and English. She just did not believe any of it real. But then, who would? Stories, villains, anti-heroes, monsters and allegories. This story was hardly allegory in the player’s lack of subtlety and she hadn’t expected the humans to be indeed so self-serving so twisted and monstrous in their intentions. But then they’d hardly gotten to Audrey and Camille’s ‘turning,’ that is what it was called right?  Audrey could hear quite loudly the thoughts running at high speed in the journalist’s mind. Truth be told it is a tad bit annoying to Audrey. Camille finds it amusing.  So with rather enthusiastic haste, leaning across the table the vampire Camille gestured the journalist’s pretty head of brown hair up and pressed a deceptively chaste kiss to Elise’s pastel pink lips. To Camille’s shock, the journalist kisses back.  It is only when Audrey, watching in some kind of macabre fascination of the brunette croons for her sister, Camille to let up that the blonde vampire does.  “That wasn’t bad, was it?” Elise asked.  “No, you’re quite good, amor,” Camille said teasing.  “Now I’ve got your attention,” Audrey said with a mock cough as vampires do not suffer the indignity of illness.  “Onto the case of Madame de Tourvel and her dangerous connection with the terror of all women and men the Vicomte de Valmont.”  Camille placed another letter under the studio light and Elise most happily read the letter, entwined by her own fascination both with Audrey and Camille and with the letter itself.

Xander: Though he seems much more relaxed after meeting Alex.

Elise: He was thrown into a world with nothing. No instructions. No other people. He was all alone…

Corrin: Poor guy, no wonder he has an allegedly brutal past. But I take it he doesn't like talking about that…

Leo: The world he first inhabited is very different from the one now. Almost as if it somehow updated with new things added.

Corrin: Interesting

Xander: From my little info, it seems Steve had almost no purpose for years, and struggles to survive against hostile beings such as Creepers, Zombies, Skeletons, and Spiders. As time went on, more hostile creatures, known as mobs entered the world.

Corrin: So he was just trying to survive.

Camilla: Then he heard of a great beast. A dragon that needed defeating. In a realm known as the end. And through an arduous journey across his world and the dimension known as the Nether, he gathered what was needed to go to the end and defeat the great dragon.

Leo: Again, we don't know much of what he did after until he met Alex a few years later, but he probably spent time building and using Redstone.

Elise: And after meeting Alex, the duo started to continue to explore their ever changing world! Though Steve seems more laid back than her, she tends to like to fight!

Camilla: There are rumors that the two are dating!

Corrin: Wow! But wait…you said he was dumped into the world?

Leo: Yes, he spawned into the world. Though his origin is apparently quite brutal, we don't know what it is.

Xander: And most of what we told you are rumors. There is some evidence towards them, but not enough to be conclusive.

Elise: I mean Steve was spotted at an Ocean Monument alone recently so obviously he occasionally does solo adventures.

Corrin: I see. Any combat tips?

Leo: He can place blocks to block attacks, aid recovery, and more. But they only last a few seconds.

Corrin: Noted

Noticed some tanlines and then I started looking at my skin TOO closely and being like, "WHAT DOES THIS SLIGHT DISCOLORATION MEAN??.? 👀" (almost certainly nothing 🙄)

Anyway I feel anxious and adrift and it's like 100% bc I've barely eaten today! Let's see if I can find the willpower to change that....

i love using soulmate aus as a way to just like force characters together that i think personality wise would work but situation wise just would never happen

because even without romance it creates an almost instant connection or at least for characters that would care about having one like Percy

and he is 90% what i think about so uh yeah

and i have also been toying in my head about the idea of finding your soulmate really young being seen as a bit of a bad omen because the world wants you to find them at like “the right time” so to speak 

normally that relating to like maturity and life experience 

but also wanting you to meet at all and stuff so finding each other extremely young or when the soulmates in question are very obviously not ready would be like a sign of death of the world going 

“oh no oh fuck you have a high chance of dying im going to push you together”

anyway this is just a starter for the idea of Percy finding his soulmate stupid young because he would be in the house with his uncles when they die and as such having a high chance of dying himself and just manages to make it
