"The game she's from was relentlessly dragged through the mud for years and years and Elise took the brunt of it. She's a teenage girl who due to spoilery circumstances can't cry or else she'll basically trigger the apocalypse, AND she's the ruler of her kingdom - and gets dragged into Eggman's plot and faces a ton of danger. She basically has never been allowed to let go, or be herself, or just do whatever she wants, or even show emotion - and her arc is about her starting to try and go against that and be free. BUT because she's a human girl everyone in the Sonic fanbase hated her for more than a decade."

Sister Margarete is a Benedictine nun at Kiersau Abbey, and works as an assistant herbalist.

Lebkuchen

She is Elise's (the protagonist) childhood friend and one of the game's three romanceable options. Lebkuchen is the town's local nun, renowned for her generosity and intuition. Every night as Elise heads home, she passes by Lebkuchen on her swing, making sure she's well-fed by giving her some of her homemade bread, always trusting her regardless of her brash attitude and odd behavior during the main story. However, Lebkuchen canonically says she's not a saint, and on the first date you can have with her she shouts about how the Father is a “bald geezer” who “belongs in a pigpen” from the church balcony. She also enjoys engaging in gossip, and constantly teases Elise, who describes her as more like an imp. Their dynamic is as sweet as sugar, and Lebkuchen is a very lovable rebel in her own right who deserves to last a few rounds in the tournament :]

Your nominations are in, your votes have been counted, and the WLW Webcomic Couples Bracket is assembled! There are 64 entries, broken up for early rounds into eight groups of eight couples or poly ships.

It will take me a while to find images to use in the polls, so keep the propaganda coming while I get them ready! The bracket is lightly seeded - the eight couples or ships with 10-15 nominations each were given the first seed in each group, then couples with 3-7 nominations were given second through fourth seed, and the remaining slots were filled by couples with two nominations. Just as a horn announced the start of the historic Battle of the Eagle and Lion, so does a horn call for its end. Fighting across the field draws to its close, with those remaining helping each other limp off to rejoin the rest of their classmates and colleagues.

The hope of victory still burns in all the remaining competitors on the field, but as the hours wear on, it becomes more and more difficult to call a decisive victor. And so, a monumental decision is made.

A joyous feast caps off an exciting day of battle and glory. Lebkuchen (Little Goody Two Shoes) vs Sister Maria-Fiore dei Fiori di Montagna (The 44 Scotland Street Series)

Sister Maria-Fiore is a member of the Little Sisters of the Bourgeoisie

Lebkuchen

She is Elise's (the protagonist) childhood friend and one of the game's three romanceable options. Lebkuchen is the town's local nun, renowned for her generosity and intuition. Every night as Elise heads home, she passes by Lebkuchen on her swing, making sure she's well-fed by giving her some of her homemade bread, always trusting her regardless of her brash attitude and odd behavior during the main story. However, Lebkuchen canonically says she's not a saint, and on the first date you can have with her she shouts about how the Father is a “bald geezer” who “belongs in a pigpen” from the church balcony. She also enjoys engaging in gossip, and constantly teases Elise, who describes her as more like an imp. Their dynamic is as sweet as sugar, and Lebkuchen is a very lovable rebel in her own right who deserves to last a few rounds in the tournament :]

Sister Maria-Fiore dei Fiori di Montagna

Italian socialite nun from a religious order dedicated to tending to people afflicted with "Stendhal Syndrome" (falling ill due to being overcome by the beauty of Florentine art at the Ufizzi Museum). They brew their own gin, grow lemons and make tonic water, which they combine to make their cure for Stendhal Syndrome. She is also in a thinly veiled lesbian relationship with her "friend" Antonia, who she met when Antonia came down with Stendhal Syndrome.
