I'm getting ready for band and there's jazz kids who are very clearly trying to convince me to join jazz without saying anything

"Yeah I just feel like jazz festival would have been so much better with a BASSIST" (side eye to me plugging my bass into the amp)

"I can only imagine how it would have felt with two good percussionist and Chase on BASS"

Hi! I just started playing the bass a month or two ago. I am not very good... yet... lol xD it's a process but fun! Trying to get my fingers use to moving on the fret board is hard since I have smaller hands/shorter fingers but I can play a little bit of until the end of time by xdiz and freddy by xdiz :D

Picked up electric bass over my long winter break from school and my hands have reached the stage of “I can now reach the proper frets without my hands cramping.” I had to put the bass away for a bit due to my wrists needing to heal from excessive painting and playing an instrument and what not so I was shocked to come back and see that. Great feeling :)

anyone have recommendations for not super expensive bass guitars that are good for a beginner? possibly for someone kinda short too if that’s a thing lol. i wanna get back to making music but idk anything about what to look for in a bass and my classical/jazz musician parents don’t know a ton about them either
