I redesign the fenghuangs because their canon versions never convinced me 🤔 So here they are!

I've tried to resemble their designs with birds, according to the fenghuang race. Also, I have the headcanon that they are actually bald and they use wigs to cover their heads. I have a loooot of ideas about that especific thing, so I hope to have time to develop that in the future

This last episode shows how writers - wanting or not - only reinforce the fenghuang role as villains lol

I remember writing a post some time ago on how HH has been tricking HC into force her to become the Phoenix, despite the girl having fulfilled very few of the established criteria.

Well, here's the t. HH didn't want to be leader anymore, or phoenix either. So instead of straight up:

1 - just stepping down the leadership and pass it to Nevra

and

2 - oficially give her phoenix role up

She meticulously used some sort of reverse gaslighting (instead of making HC think she was crazy, she tried to make her think she was the phoenix), letting herself die, making everybody fall into despair...

so she could roam around freely now lol She could have given up sooner, but HC wouldn't have accepted, HH's plan would have failed. HH knew her death was the only way to convince HC to take over her BOTH ROLES.

HH is so lucky faerys are dumb, no one realized her death had nothing to do with the crystal because ta-daaa fenghuangs had nothing to do with the sacrifice, they gave the idea, but none needed to die for the crystal to establish such link.

And once again, faerys are tricked by a fenghuang. They were the brains behind the "leaving Earth" operation, and now it happens again in "coming back to Earth" operation *sighs*
