Like I previously said, I'm in the middle of doing an Eldarya replay but in Ezarel's route while also trying to spot all the foreshadowing and such now that I already know the full story of The Origins

I'm not sure if anyone else has pointed this part from episode 7, but I'm pretty sure that Ykhar's comment is about how Ewelein and Ezarel are friends with benefits...

I love The Origins so much, playing it all again I can see how good the story was at the beginning and how much personality all of them have 😭😭 I'll never forgive ANE for what they did to Nevra for a example, literally killed him, they could've just made a whole new LI instead but noooo ruin the already great character 😭🙏

Also I really truly love eldarya so much omg you can 100% expect fanart for all of the characters like Kero, Ykhar, Miiko and so on because I miss my faemily (see what I did there??)

TEA SHOP🍵 — ELDARYA ONE-SHOT

I have to confess, writing this gave me such a good feeling, a feeling I didn’t expect to have. It was so comforting, so light. I hope you feel what I felt when you read it. Enjoy the read!

Oh, btw. I got a bit carried away. Sorry if it ended up being longer than you wanted. (;.;)

Ewelein looked at the clock, the soft afternoon light streaming through the window. The tea shop was charming, with shelves full of dried leaves and aromatic blends. She didn’t expect much from this meeting — after all, it was her first free moment after exhausting days at the hospital. As the chief doctor, her work never seemed to end. It was rare to get a break, and she knew she had to make the most of this opportunity.

She was surprised when Ezarel asked her out. It seemed... unlikely. But here she was, waiting for Mr. Always-Late.

She looked at the door, waiting, a little nervous. Not that she was insecure about the meeting — after all, who wouldn’t want some time for themselves after so much stress? But Ezarel’s presence always stirred a mix of curiosity and unpredictability. He was enigmatic and full of layers, and she never quite knew what to expect from him. Sometimes he’d show a hint of arrogance, with his inflated self-esteem. Other times, he was a funny guy, lightening the mood with his jokes. That was nice. Ewelein didn’t like heavy atmospheres, especially when she had to deal with them so much at work. A little humor, a little lightness, was always welcome.

The shop door opened, and Ezarel walked in. Contrary to what she expected, he didn’t seem uncomfortable but rather curious, as if this environment was a new experience for him. She felt a tiny bit of pride — after all, she had chosen the place, even though the invitation came from him. His eyes quickly searched for her, and upon seeing her, he gave a small smile. He seemed to be in one of those rare moments where he wasn’t the arrogant, self-sufficient elf.

“Hello, Ewelein,” he said casually. He looked handsome. He smelled so good that she could smell him from across the room, mingling with the scent of tea. “So, this is the famous tea shop date?”

She laughed lightly, feeling at ease. It was as if, somehow, he’d put aside his arrogance for this moment.

“I think you’ll survive. Trust me, this tea might be more refreshing than it looks,” she said with a warm smile.

He sat down across from her, his eyes moving away from the tea menu, his curiosity becoming evident.

“I’ll trust you then,” Ezarel said, in a playful tone. “Since you’re the expert, you’ll introduce me to the best tea, right?”

Ewelein smiled again, taking the menu and pointing to a few options.

“I’d recommend the jasmine tea. It’s relaxing and has a delicate touch. Perfect for someone who’s spent days running around the ward. I’m enjoying this break to relax a bit,” she confessed, finally feeling at ease when she noticed that he was calmer than usual. Maybe he was nervous. That was sweet. Ewelein stifled a loving laugh.

Ezarel noticed the way she spoke about her job. He knew that being a chief doctor was never easy. And, as much as he wanted to, he couldn’t fully understand the weight of that routine, but he could see the exhaustion in her eyes. Alchemy was complicated, but it wasn’t like he dealt with lives every day. It was an immense responsibility. Ezarel admired Ewelein’s talent and strength.

“It must be tough, huh?” he said, with a gentler tone he rarely used. He looked at her softly. “I’m always impressed by those who handle so many lives every day.”

Ewelein sighed, resting her hands on the table. It was rare for her to talk about work with anyone, but with Ezarel, the conversation flowed more naturally. With others, she usually dodged it. It was better to save herself from exposure. But she felt comfortable enough to open up to Ezarel.

“Sometimes, I feel overwhelmed. Like I’m always on the edge, trying to balance everything. But today, I’m taking a break,” she smiled, looking at him. “And now, tea, no rush, no pressure.”

Ezarel made a theatrical gesture, as if making a grand promise.

“Well then, I’ll make sure this tea is an epic experience,” he said, with a mischievous smile, carefully picking up the cup as if testing each sip to see if he actually liked it. “Hmm... you’re right. This is good.”

She laughed, feeling more at ease with him than she expected. Ezarel, usually so serious and distant, seemed more relaxed, more “human” than usual. It wasn’t the arrogance she usually saw, but a lighter version of him that she was starting to discover.

“I’m glad you like it,” she said, satisfied with his response. “I thought I’d bring you here for something calmer. Life’s already so chaotic, right?”

“Calm is good. Sometimes I miss that. We don’t always have these moments. I’m the type who’s always running around, but who knows… Maybe this break is good,” he said, his look softer, and for a moment, he seemed completely different from the Ezarel she knew at work or in other situations.

The comfortable silence between them was interrupted only by the sound of the kettle being refilled, and Ewelein felt that this moment was worth more than any work meeting.

Ezarel smiled again, leaning slightly forward.

“I have to admit... this tea has something magical about it. And you too, Ewelein. I think you caught me off guard,” he said, more sincerely than she was used to.

She looked at him, unsure of what to say. It was rare to see him so genuine. She wasn’t used to Ezarel’s sweet words, but in this moment, he seemed sincere.

“I think... I’m not that hard to surprise, Ezarel. Sometimes it’s just a matter of stopping and paying attention. I get you, you have your own challenges,” she said, a little shy, but also liking his vulnerability.

He looked at her with a softer smile, without his usual sarcasm.

“Maybe. But for today, I’ll let myself be surprised once again. And you know, this was a good choice on your part,” he said, raising his cup for a toast, which she followed with a light smile.

Even though the day was ordinary, there was something special about this meeting. Something light and new that she couldn’t explain, but felt it was just the beginning of something the two of them might have much more to explore.

“I didn’t expect you to ask me out,” she commented, nibbling on a small biscuit with jam. The taste was wonderful. Ezarel laughed.

“Funny you say that. I didn’t expect you to accept, believe it?” he commented while absentmindedly swirling a small spoon in his cup. Ewelein smiled, surprised and curious.

“Why?” she asked, looking at him.

“I don’t know. It’s just that... You’re so mature. And so busy. And so... Beautiful,” he said, looking down at the table. “Nevra said you’re way out of my league.”

Ewelein let out a genuine laugh upon hearing that. It really was funny. A small tear slipped down the corner of her eye. She held herself back from laughing too hard. Let’s just say Ewelein’s laugh was a bit... unique. It was a laugh you wanted to hear. Not laughing at her, but laughing with her. Ezarel found it adorable.

“By the gods!” she breathed deeply to stop laughing. “Sorry, Ezarel!”

He smiled to the side.

“It’s fine. He’s actually right. But I don’t mind.” He ate one of the biscuits.

“You know... I disagree,” Ewelein said, setting her teacup aside and looking at him with a soft smile. “I don’t think I’m way out of your league.”

Ezarel raised an eyebrow, intrigued, and gave a small ironic smile, playfully stirring the spoon in his cup.

“Oh, really? And what do you think of yourself then?” he teased, his eyes sparkling with curiosity.

She sighed and leaned back in her chair, thinking for a moment.

“I think... I’m just a doctor,” she said, shrugging with a sincere smile. “Like anyone else. Sure, I have my challenges at work, and yes, sometimes I feel like I’m carrying the weight of the world on my shoulders. But in the end, everyone has their own battles, right? I just... try to do my best.”

Ezarel watched her closely, his piercing eyes softening as he noticed the sincerity in her words. He smiled with a lightness he rarely showed.

“You’re very modest,” he said, tossing his hair back with a carefree movement. “I admire that about you, you know? Even without knowing what’s behind your calm demeanor, I can see you have incredible strength.”

Ewelein smiled softly, touching the edge of her cup with her fingers. The warmth of the tea seemed to match the warmth she felt inside, a pleasant, comforting sensation.

“I’m not sure I deserve that much, but... I appreciate it,” she said, looking away for a moment, trying to hide the slight flush that was starting to appear on her cheeks. “I think, deep down, we all need a little support, right?”

Ezarel gave a soft laugh, his tone lighter and more carefree, as if he felt at ease with her.

“You definitely deserve more support than you realize,” he said with a look that blended humor and a hint of sincerity.

The atmosphere between them seemed to shift a little. The words flowed easily and lightly, without rush or pressure. A comfortable silence followed, as they both sipped their tea, enjoying the tranquility the moment offered.

Ezarel looked at Ewelein, observing her small gestures: the way she held the cup, the soft gleam in her eyes. It was something genuine, something he knew he needed to protect. Perhaps she didn’t know, but to him, she was already "too good," in a way he never imagined.

Ewelein looked at Ezarel, her gaze gently curious, as if trying to decipher something between the lines of his words. He seemed so different from the Ezarel she knew—more relaxed, more... genuine. He appeared more approachable, as if the weight of his entire fa��ade had lessened a little, revealing a more genuine, more vulnerable side.

Ezarel noticed her fixed gaze, and suddenly, the tension in the air shifted, becoming more palpable, more... intimate. He became uncomfortably aware of her proximity, but also of something else, something growing between them in that small space of the café. He shifted in his chair, trying to push away the thought forming in his mind.

"You have... a curious look, Ewelein," he said, his voice slightly deeper. "What are you thinking?"

She hesitated for a moment, feeling a small wave of nervousness, but at the same time, a sense of comfort with how he seemed more open. She didn’t want to break the mood, but the words came out softer than she expected.

"I was thinking about how you're different..." she said with a shy smile. "How you seem so... invincible. But at the same time, there's something in you that makes me want to understand more, you know?"

Ezarel was surprised by the sincerity in her words. He let out a low laugh, but the smile on his lips was no longer the same as before; it was softer, warmer.

"Invincible, huh? I think you’re seeing a version of me that even I didn’t know," he replied with a light tease, but his voice held a gentler tone than usual.

She smiled, feeling a lightness in the air. But she didn’t want to let it pass without trying once more. Ewelein leaned slightly forward, her hands delicately clasped on the table.

"I know you have this mask, Ezarel. We all do. But I think..." She paused, looking at him with a more intense gaze. "I think there’s something more behind it. Something you don’t let many see. Something that... makes me want to know more. And I..." She hesitated, feeling the warmth of her words, but she pressed on. "I’d like to be around to see what’s beneath all that."

Ezarel remained silent for a moment, staring at her with his eyes locked on hers. Something in her words touched him in an unexpected way. He felt his heart beat a little faster, a warm, comforting sensation beginning to spread in his chest. He had grown used to hiding his emotions, to keeping a certain distance, but something about Ewelein made him want to break down that barrier, even if just for a moment.

He leaned slightly forward, his voice softer, almost a whisper.

"Do you really want to see what's underneath?" he asked, his eyes reflecting a gleam she hadn’t seen before, a mix of interest and something deeper.

Ewelein felt her heart race. He was so close now, the soft scent of tea mixing with his, the warmth of his presence, almost as if they were in a world of their own. She swallowed hard, but didn’t look away, keeping her gaze locked on his.

"I do, Ezarel," she replied, her voice more firm now, but with a softness he hadn’t expected. "I want to discover."

For a moment, time seemed to stop. There were no more words. Just the silence between them, broken by the sound of cups being gently placed on the table. Ezarel didn’t quite know what was happening, but a growing sensation took over his chest. It was something he hadn’t felt in a long time, something that was... good. And unexpected.

He smiled, softer than she had ever seen him before. It wasn’t an arrogant smile, but genuine, full of a sincerity he’d never shown anyone, let alone her.

"Then I guess you’re willing to discover more of me, huh?" he asked, his words carrying a subtle promise. He raised his hand to lightly touch hers, the gesture gentle, almost a touch of respect. "And I... I’m more than willing to let you discover."

Ewelein felt a shiver run down her spine, but her smile didn’t waver. She knew something was beginning between them, something that couldn’t be ignored. She didn’t know what the future held, but in that moment, with him by her side, she was willing to find out.

"Then... let’s see where this takes us, Ezarel," she said, her tone soft, but with a certainty that made her heart beat faster.

They both sat there, in silence again, but now the silence was charged with something more. Something promising. Something they were about to explore together.

ELDARYA routes when you are sick

EZAREL

The moment he hears your unmotivated tone of voice when you speak he can say that you might be upset or sick. He caresses your wrist gently, in a subtle way to check your temperature. When he feels how warm you are, he looks at you worried. You’re not upset. You’re sick.

He would lean in to press his lips against your forehead to check your temperature. “Oh, you’re burning up...” he mutters, immediately bringing you to your room. 

He knows a few methods to lower your temperature, and definitely knows some potions to ease your symptoms. When it gets out of his hand, he asks Ewelein.

He makes sure you take the correct amount of medicine every certain hour. He can even write it down in a paper so you remember, as he might be working. (Every break he has he spends it with you)

Every time he goes to work, he places a cold cloth on your forehead (or warm, depending on what you may need), and once he comes back for the break, he will change it for another if you wish.

Will lift your mood with moderate humour (and will also whine about work, which is a funny sight)

Definitely will give you tea with honey. Honey is a good antibacterial so it might help against any infection! It also might help to boost your immune system, so he insists on taking it. He will also drink it with you just to taste and enjoy the honey and your company!

Ezarel isn’t really restricting when taking care of you, as he knows that you are strong and you will be able to recover, no matter how long it takes. Of course he isn’t allowing you to work hard, since you need rest, but if you need something that requires little effort, then he allows it. He knows the impotence of not being capable of doing much.

“Humans are so weak…” and then he takes care of you as he never took care of nobody else before. You are his human.

Hey, you will get free forehead kisses when he checks your temperature :3.

He is very patient with you, and keep doing his teasing every now and then, but he is mainly gentle and calm as he thinks that the last thing you need is a lot of energy at that moment.

The only bad thing is that he won’t kiss your mouth much since he appreciates his well-being. But don’t worry, once you finally recover he will fill you up with kisses. 

NEVRA

He has taken care of Karenn every time she got sick, and it is no bother for him at all. In fact, being able to protect her makes him feel good as he knows she is in good hands. The same goes for you. Tthough he is afraid of your fragile human body not being able to recover fast.

He is observant and can feel how your body shows signs of discomfort. When he sees you doing a slight expression of pain, his face goes from neutral to :C. His baby… how can his baby be sick…? He immediately places a hand on your back and caresses it to soothe the stress you might feel. As soon as he can he will guide you to the bathroom to wash your face or directly guide you to his room so you can rest.

That’s alright, he is gonna be there for you. Are you cold? He’s gonna cuddle with you. Are you hungry? He’s gonna ask Ewelein which things won’t hurt your stomach so you can eat in peace. Do you need to be alone? Alright… but he’s gonna be close to your door.

He gives you head massages, or belly, or back massages, only if you allow him or he sees that would be useful for you to relax.

As you sleep he is gonna be there, caressing your hair and giving soft kisses to your head and forehead, making sure that you can rest well.

Ask anything you wish from that mouth and he will give it to you.

There is gonna be a big bottle of water in the nightstand for you to stay hydrated. And speaking about hydration, he completely refuses to drink your blood as you are sick. He is well aware that if he did, it would take you longer to recover and you’d feel worse. He’s definitely NOT doing it.

Cancels almost all his plans just to be with you. If there is anything important, he will go, but immediately comes back to you. 

He’s gonna place all the blankets he finds over you.

Definitely does things for you. What if you try to move from bed and your legs fall or something? No. You must rest.

VALKYON

He wouldn’t notice you’re sick until he sees how physically weak you are. And the moment he checks that you are sick, he is gonna feel bad for not noticing before. He will take you to see Ewelein, and then to your room so you recover.

Valkyon won’t really cuddle as you are sick, because his natural temperature is naturally really hot, so it’d overwhelm you. He’d sit on a chair besides your bed and hold your hand. Sometimes he’d fall asleep there.

You can ask anything you want and he will definitely do as you want. 

He isn’t the best cook but he definitely is capable of doing vegetable soup for you so your immune system can be stronger. He is also going to be strict with any medicine dose you need.

If you need time alone to not be overwhelmed, he can give it to you. He is aware that maybe external noise or crowded places aren’t good when you are sick, so he is even capable of making people shush when they walk across the corridor.

If you pout because you can’t cuddle with him, he’s gonna melt. But, sorry, darling… he isn’t going to do it in case you literally overcook yourself…

He’d only get closer if you are under the regular temperature, caressing your cheek or placing his hand on your belly, rubbing it. 

Kisses on your hand to cheer you up def.

He’s gonna carry you on bridal style everywhere.

He will prepare you baths, bring the meal to your bed and bring the food to your mouth <3. He’s gonna spoil you, that’s a fact.

Wanna take a bath? He is joining to give you the most relaxing massage on your shoulders. Also a lot of kisses and caresses.

When he comes back from work, he definitely brings some cookies or something to cheer you up (if you are ill from the stomach, forget about it, he will only give you tea).

LEIFTAN

Leiftan literally feels it. He knows how bad you feel as he can feel your emotions, and before he sees you he goes to Ewelein to ask about the thing that hurts you at the moment and what you should do to feel better. The moment he sees you he hugs you and tells you to go rest immediately.

He’s gonna move you to his room so he can be close to you. He focuses mainly on comforting you, humming soft melodies and  caressing your back as you rest your head on his chest. He wants you to fall asleep so your body and mind can rest.

The best time to read! He can read for you or you both can do a reading date, he is fine with both.

Imagine Leiftan spooning you as you two decide to read the same book. If you fall asleep while reading, he simply marks the page where you two are, closes the book and cuddles you until he can also fall asleep.

He’s gonna make sure that the environment is refreshing and comfortable for you. As you enjoy the warm and good bath he prepared for you, he cleans the room to not keep the human germs.

He gets fatherly in these types of situations.

He prepares a basket with warm blankets, tissue boxes, bath kit and natural remedies for your health (he hates using medicine, even if it’s needed, he doesn’t like to make your vulnerable body consume it unless very needed).

His way of checking your temperature is by pressing his forehead with yours, or cheek with cheek. A gift kiss as well because he knows you will get better soon.

LANCE 

“I told you so…”  type of guy. But that doesn’t mean that he will scold you or mock you for too long. He’d sigh and simply accept that he will have to be your caretaker.

He is anxious about your well-being. He might ask every 5 minutes how are you feeling. He doesn’t want to overwhelm you with his worries, but you’re everything that is on his mind lately. No matter if you reassure him of getting well, he’s still gonna be right there for you in high alert.

He makes Ewelein check you regularly, but even she would say that you’re not in danger… He’s just very worried, alright?

Lance would tie you up in the bed so you don’t do anything- Maybe not to that extreme but he’d definitely not allow you to do much effort.

His cold hand can be helpful to lower your temperature. He’d place it on your forehead or neck for a few minutes until you feel better.

He’s gonna make you sit on his lap and he’ll feed you good food for your sickness. 

He won’t give you kisses until you get better, just in case… and what if he steals your oxygen and you die? No, you must recover. He will give support by holding you.

When he goes to work, he lends you his shirts so you can wear them and feel like he is there with you. And every now and then he’d go to your room to check on you.

He can prepare a warm bath for you, even with candles so you can completely relax!

Will probably make Mathieu do his work whenever he feels like he did not spend enough time with you…

MATHIEU

He is a human so he knows that you will get better soon. Still, he will be dramatic in joke and say “oh no, we have to cuddle before you die!” as he snuggles to your side and traps you in his arms.

He asks Lance advice to make you feel better, and he is somehow good at remembering about you taking your medicine. If Ewelein gives you a potion or something, he’s gonna smell it and judge it beforehand to feel sorry for you.

Mathieu feels pity for you, so he tries to cheer you up with jokes and some details.

He is the worst option when it comes to food, because he will offer you food that could be wrong for your stomach. He will apologize for a week if that meal made you feel worse :(.

He once gave you a piece of cake with chocolate and that evening you spent it throwing it up… 

After the scolding he received from Lance and Ewelein, he acknowledged himself with those things you can eat and which not.

You might have to warn him to not get so close to you, but he won’t even care and will keep kissing you, being close to you, until he ends up being sick as well.

He talks to you until you fall asleep, even though sometimes you might ask him if he can lower his voice. And he can! He wants you to feel calm and not overwhelmed.

If you two had any access to technologies, he’d offer you to watch any shows or movies as you two cuddle and rest. But since that option in Eldarya isn’t available, he will make a picnic on your bed with things you CAN eat when sick instead of almost killing you again.

Do not let him cook for you or you will surely suffer.

Oh my. I can't believe I'm this emotional, but eldarya ending truly made me feel so nostalgic.

I discovered this game when I was 14. I can still remember I played it at first because I was on Nath's route in MCL and there were memes going around at the time about some "blue Nathaniel." I obviously was on Ez's route all throughout the first season.

I dropped MCL because I used to think it was so mediocre compared to eldarya... Eldarya was just THAT good back then. It was sooo interesting, the characters were well written, the set up was amazing! It was my obsession for YEARS! I would say it all started going downhill from episode 17 on.

I love this game, I always will despite it becoming so incredibly bad through the last 4 years or so. But I'd like to remember all the moments that made me think it was a great game, like when Ezarel wore a moustache, or when I first realized nevra was not just a skirt chaser, but also an incredibly capable guy (remember that pic of him with the kappa??) I also remember when chapter 7 came out and I first saw the illus, I was so excited, or when Ashkore put his finger over our lips, also the chapter where we have a drink with the main 3, the shock I felt when I discovered Ez had a thing with Ewelein, when we first got our own room made by out guy, it being a window to their personalities, all of us trying to figure out what their backstory was, when we used to make conspiracy theories over why Ezarel didn't like being touched, Nevra was such a womanizer and Valkyon never talked, the anticipation we felt over solving all of the mysteries... There are so many good things about Eldarya, and I wish for all of us to keep them in mind.

I have no idea if Chinomiko still checks Tumblr posts, but I would love to tell her that she created an INCREDIBLE game, with incredible characters, and that I wish that she could've had the chance to be more involved over the last few years. I know that if she had been, the game would've kept being what we loved.

Finally, I hope beemoov understands that rushing a story is a terrible idea, it's even worse to erase such dear characters for the players that have PAYED a lot to see their storylines. I hope you do ir better from now on, and I wish there were events with eldarya where at least for a little while, the story was what it used to be.

This truly is a love letter to game dude, I can't believe I'm being so dramatic, but eldarya truly has been an important part of my life, my first ever hyper fixation.

Also, I would like to keep writing for eldarya, I know I haven't posted in a while, and I can't say I will post regularly, but every now and then I will.

Eldarya new episode SPOILERS

Okay, but why did they resurrect Huang Hua? I mean what for? HuangChu used her death as a power up to become the new Phoenix being a more capable chief than her) it's thanks to her is they were all able to escape from Eldarya). She still has phoenix powers, but she didn't participate in the all faerie locating operation and she doesn't even seem to want to. She's studying the history and geography of Earth (something Erika never had any interest in when she was in Eldarya and I'm stull bitter about it) and plans to travel around the world with Ewelein. So she's just there, for no other purpose... so why? If they killed her only for shock value, why would they take it back?
