I find it a little strange that some people just don’t acknowledge that if killer stays with the bad sanses, being all “murderous and evil together so wholesome!!” then the person the gang supposedly love just won’t be there anymore given enough time.
Stage 4 will take over more and more and more, as it is getting worse even before Killer left with Color, and killer will attempt to kill even the ones he supposedly loves or die trying.
#staying with the gang is a bad ending for killer for a reason.#some of yall forget way too easily that killer had to literally be coerced psychologically tortured and recoded to even pick up a knife.#utmv#sans au#sans aus#killer sans#killer!sans#stage 4!killer#killer sans stages#like.#guys.#all the killing and murdering literally is killers trauma.#he is a victim of forced perpetration dude.#even if he has grown apathetic and desensitized#conditioned to accept these conditions as normal as breathing#stage 1 still holds all the guilt that will kill him if killer allows himself to feel it.#either killer will eventually finally kill himself as he wanted to the first time#or he will completely lose himself and become exactly like the human.#even more than he already is.#he will be completely unrecognizable even to the gang by the end.

𝐃𝐎 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐋𝐈𝐊𝐄 𝐒𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐘 𝐌𝐎𝐕𝐈𝐄𝐒?
ghostface! todoroki who plays out your sick fantasy.
mask kink, p in v, finger sucking, nipple sucking, fear tactic.
“are you sure you want to do this?” todoroki questions, a stoic but somewhat worry on his face. “what if something goes left and i hurt you?”
“you wont hurt me, baby.”
“what if you forget that we are doing something like this and you freak out?” he presses, fidgeting with his fingertips and avoiding eye contact.
“baby, if youre worried so much we dont have to do this.” you remind, kissing his cheek and a small smile. “i wont force you to do anything you dont want to do.”
“yeah, but i wanna make you happy, thats what im supposed to do.” he sighs, rolling his eyes at himself.
“and you are either way it goes.” you scratch his head, a soft groan from his throat as you dig your nails into him. “ill be happy and love you either way this goes.”
“okay,” he nods, tilting your head up and kissing your lips. “gotta go to the store for dinner, feeling like soba tonight.” he says, standing up and holding you for a minute. “love you.”
“i love you too.”
you eventually hear the downstairs front door close and lock, sleep taking over your body and you fluttering your eyes shut into a resting place and feeling your body start to drift away.
but, maybe an hour later, something does wake you up. a sound of something ruffling around, could be birds in the attic or maybe another fucking squirrel got into the dryer again. but, your sleepy brain not working right, you pull yourself out of bed and look at the time.
‘ten forty three.’
shoto isnt home yet?
walking downstairs, you turn the dryer light on, there wasnt any chipmunks or squirrels in there. and yet, you still hear noise from somewhere.
‘click!— front door open.’
your heart races a bit, looking over to the door to see what apparently is a man in all black, with a ghostface mask and he just stands there. you chuckle, rolling your eyes. “okay, shoto, you actually want to do this?”
no movement, just the man you think is your todoroki standing in place.
“helloooo?” you snap your fingers in his face, still no movements from the masked man, but scoff and fold your arms. “shoto, again if you dont want to do this—“
finally, the man who wasnt speaking, pulls out a small amount of rope. which was weird, todoroki doesnt really like ropes, being the fact it’s easy to get rope burn. you feel the hairs on the back of your neck raise, your overthinking starting to save you. “are you not todoroki..?”
he shakes his head no, putting up five fingers.. and your legs do all the running on their own. he wasnt chasing you, no. but it still is fucking creepy.
that damn boy probably left the door unlocked!
you lock the door to the bedroom, scrambling to find your phone. you unlock it, dialing the number to his phone, and it picks up.
“todoroki— someone broke into—“
“no todoroki shoto here, little girl.” the other line says, making your heart drop and tremble within fear of somebody, something hurt him and was doing the same with you. “do you like scary movies?”
oh, thats how this fuck wants to do things? textbook definition?
you swallow thick, feeling rage and yet fear within your bones. “adore them.” you spit, peering out the window curtains.
“okay, lets play a little game then.”
“whats the name of that one big killer in silent hill?” the line asks, waiting on your response.
“pyramid head.” you confidently reply, getting a satisfactory chuckle. “if youre going to kill me, give me better questions so it means something.”
“ohh, youre so mean, what about your poor shoto?” he asks, a coo behind his words. “if you get all of them right, ill tell you where he is.”
you chew on your nails, anxiety pulling over you. you grunt, an approval of his mind games with you. “okay then, who was the first killer in scream?”
that almost threw you off, but you knew who it was. “there wasnt just one killer for that first girl.. casey was her name.”
“oh? mind to share with me and shoto?” he asks, you have to hold your tongue to try and not sacrifice his life on accident.
“billy called the girls phone, stu killed the boyfriend, billy killed the girl.” you say, knowing that you’re right about all of it, it was simple really.
“oh, what makes you so sure? how can you tell?” he asks again, curiously trying to see if you would second guess yourself. anyone would, especially in the scream movies. but you werent stupid, you watched enough of those movies to realize that mistake.
“billy was more fueled by rage and revenge, causing his movements to act erratically, stu was just there with him.”
“bingo! next question..” he cheers, a pause in the line. “in the paranormal realm, was it the conjuring that goes first, or annabelle?”
“annabelle, then conjuring.” you say, hearing a dissatisfied voice. “what?”
“are you sure about that? thats what you want to go with?” he asks, was this his trick again or were you wrong..?
“thats how they go, it wouldnt make sense if they were reversed.” you shout, hearing a small chuckle.
“you lose.” he says, the line ending and hands grab at your shoulders, a scream coming from your throat as you thrash and writhe in his hands.
he kneels down on your forearms, wrapping the rope around your body and hands as you still struggle. he was bigger than you, your legs and knees only able to kick air and some small parts of his back. you try to pry your way out of the rope’s confines, his hands starting to paw and push up at your clothes and your heart drops.
is this how it’s supposed to be? your boyfriend supposedly dead and you get the short end of the stick?
you look away, not bothering to watch yourself be ruthlessly taken by a masked killer who just happens to also be a fucking creep. you feel his hands on your body, warm but cold hands on your stomach.
warm and cold ?
his lips attach to your nipple, you jumping from the temperatures in his mouth. he mustve eaten something cold or something. or, maybe he had taken some kind of medication that makes him cold?
he swirls his tongue, his breath being pushed onto your skin, and the temperature of his breath is colder—
fucking todoroki, its been him this whole time.
your nerves relax all the way, getting the best confirmation of your lover being the one who has you in his reigns, his mouth on your nipple, and the one who is pulling his cock from his pants.
you wouldve thought it was someone else, since he shaved his shit apparently. he hears you chuckle, looking up at you. you try to bite back another, just imagining a ghostface mask staring up at you while positioning themselves against you— meanwhile knowing their identity.
“please dont kill me mr. ghostface, i wanna be in the sequel.” you feign fear, feeling his hands push you into the ground deeper and feeling his cock slip in, moaning about it. your clit jumps for a second, twitching from the cut pubes prickling against it for only seconds at a time.
the masked man kneels, pulling your body back and forth along his length as he hears your yelps and moans, them being elongated. the mans’ gloved fingers find their way into your mouth, you sticking your tongue out as he thrusts his fingers down and out your throat. his glove gets wet, soaked with your spit and you gag slightly when he has you throat his fingers.
his pace gets meaner, too honestly. his hips smacking against your rear and his other hand holds the ropes on your back, steadying himself and you. deep breathing can be heard through the mask, sometimes feeling the air become a little warmer but then colder. wet squelching and slaps of skin reverberated through the room, some of your hair becoming disheveled and ass becoming sore and red.
your moans becoming whiny, a light drenching of your essence and creamy rings along his cock as you curl your toes, “fuck—hah!”
the masked man breathes deeper as well, his hips slowing down as he stills inside of you. you feel his own ejaculation inside of you, making your folds slicker than any lubricant ever. the masked man lays you down, untying your restraints and pulling his mask off.
tuffs of red and white hair show themselves, and a worried shoto. “are.. are you okay—“
you bonk the top of his head, hearing a ‘ow’ after that. “what the hell, todoroki!” you squeal, shaking his arms. “what kind of idea was that?!”
“well.. you said that you wanted to try something new..” he says, his own hands on your shoulders shaking them.
“i know that much— but you scared the fuck outta me!”
“sorry.. how did you figure out it was me?” he asks, confused and worried eyes that stare and burn into yours. “was it that noticeable?”
“your palms are two different temperatures, and your mouth was cold.” you point out, pulling your shirt down and rubbing your wrists. “i almost didnt, because of the rope and the phone call— hold the fuck on, who answered the phone then?”
“uh.. midoriya?”
a knock comes to your front door, its about eleven twenty four at night. especially after tonight, todoroki walks you to the door, just in case you were still worried about anything. you weren’t worried in the slightest.
you unlock and open the door, green patches of hair the first thing you see. “uhm— hi there.” he says, the freckled boy rubbing the back of his head and a nervous chuckle.
“hi there, ghostface.” you say, both men tensing up and you fold your arms.
“well!—“ he starts, nervous and scrambling for an answer. “in my defense! todoroki cane to me about it and i wasnt trying to scare you too bad! i hope i didnt..”
“both of you did, so both of you can get beat up.” you say, watching izuku hand todoroki’s phone back. “but.. i guess i give credit when its due.”
“i hope i didnt cause any trouble..”
“you didnt, but its getting late.” you remind, the three of you saying goodbyes and a thought comes to you. you turn to tell izuku, “izu!”
he turns back and responds with a distant ‘yeah?’ wide eyes and a smile.
“annabelle comes before the conjuring, take more notes!”

One issue I don't quite get and want to briefly comment on is the idea that Alastor has to be either an old-school villain who's just evil for the sake of being evil, or more of an antagonist with actual depth, emotions, and traumatic backstory to explain his actions, letting the audience relate to him. I think we're going to extremes here. We don't have to go, "Oh, I understand why he would do that". The main goal is for us to say, "Oh, so that's his deal".
While we don't know exactly what Alstor's deal is, what the exact terms of his contract are etc., he is, without a doubt, the most complex character in the show. He's in a unique position since he technically helps Charlie achieve her goal, but it's obvious he's in it for selfish reasons, with some grander scheme going on behind the scenes. May he eventually be the one the main cast will have to fight at some point? Sure. Would it be even more fun because he is a part of the said cast? Absolutely.
Let's get one thing straight: Alastor is evil. He's in Hell for a good reason. He's a cannibal and a serial killer. And I know we can absolutely forgive characters for doing the absolute worst, but he is not a good person. And yes, you can like (and simp for) evil characters. (If you think being a fan of intriguing fictional creations makes you a terrible person, you need to get off twitter and tiktok to actually interact with real people.) At the same time, the finale of season 1 simply made it clear that Al does have depth, and that he's going to be a three-dimensional character. Not that his actions are going to be suddenly justified.
But why can't we explore evil characters while enjoying them and letting them be evil? We can. Alastor started his carnage in Hell before making his deal, so it's not the main reason behind his less-than-questionable actions. For now, he's looking for freedom so he can (re)gain power and be in control again. At the same time, he is growing attached to the other characters. I highly doubt he'll be redeemed; we'll just learn more about him, his backstory, and his goals.
Can you even call Al an antagonist? If you ask me, he's more of an anti-hero. Heck, do we know who he is? Not really, and that's the point. He's one of the main characters, but he makes himself separate in both the story and the writing. He's a wild card.
We don't know what's coming for the Radio Demon in season 2. The first one established that there's more to him and that he started growing fond of the other characters, while the finale made Al realise it almost got him killed. He was humiliated and it reminded him even more that he's still under someone else's control. At least, that's how I see it. Alastor may become more sinister as the story progresses, and as he's getting more and more desperate to free himself of the contract. AT THE SAME TIME, he did come back to the Hotel with a smile and consent for a group hug, so it's not like he's going to blow it up in the first episode. He's not against the Hotel itself. He's doing his own thing, knowing that the titular establishment is an inherent part of his story. All paths lead to the Hazbin Hotel. My guess is that he will simply become more active.
Alastor is already a three-dimensional character; there is no doubt about that. But it's not like he's getting reckoned here. I don't really understand where this notion of our Radio Demon being an old-school villain came from in the first place. He's always been a mystery. Okay, maybe in the pilot it was not so clear-cut, and I'll admit, it would be fun to just see the Radio Demon as a powerful entity overlooking the hotel for his own pleasure. Turning him into a villain later on? Meh, depends on what would happen in the story if that were the case. Watching Jack Horner in "Puss in Boots", reminded me how much I missed villains that were not an initial antagonist's evil-incarnate-superior. However, it was quite quickly established that there is more to Alastor. He would have to appear pretty rarely to not go through any character arc in a show with such an ambitious storyline as Hazbin Hotel (and what a delightful character would we lose if that was the direction the writing team would have taken?). I would mention the pacing actually harming that development, but it's clear this is the show's biggest problem, and we just have to take things for granted.
If anything, Alastor is being restrained from being purely evil. To me, he's a combination of both of the character types I mentioned at the beginning, leaning more toward the well-developed anti-hero. Just let evil characters be evil and three-dimensional.

I'm actually super curious about Horror's over eating problem like, in the first two weeks? I'm kinda wondering how Nightmare helped with that!
In his defence, after what he went through pretty much any eating would have been too much.
Like Horror hadn't eaten in years, and suddenly he finds himself in a place where food just exists. Like it's just around and he can take it - he's encouraged to take it because after the other two Nightmare was making a point of saying you must eat to his henchmen when they joined.
So he did the only reasonable thing and went hog wild.
There was no problem as far as the others were concerned - Nightmare was honestly relieved to see he'd chosen a mortal who would feed himself, and hearing him rip into an entire loaf of bread dry like an animal was the right first impression to leave on Dust and Killer. (Not that either of them would kill a teammate for fun, but without any LV and no kills Horror was lacking the intimidation factor they had. It's amazing how after you watch a guy shovel dry pasta shapes into his mouth by hand like his life depends on it you want to give him a bit of space to settle in).
The problem really was that going from eating nothing for years to eating half a kitchen all at once is a terrible idea, and he ended up making himself pretty sick from it. But the next time he went to the kitchen he just did it again, because the fear of going back to starvation told him to just eat it all now so it couldn't disappear. This went on for days, to the point Nightmare was considering doing a tour of aus to find a doctor who could find out what was wrong (and not rat him out to Dream), until Dust came forward with the suggestion of building him up slowly.
It was rough having to limit him, Horror has never been as grumpy as he was in those first few weeks (it turns out he didn't need the pasta to match the others on intimidation, hunger mood swings work just fine.) But eventually he was able to keep food down, and by then Nightmare had made a schedule to make sure they weren't fed too much or too little which was useful for all three.
So he finally had all his henchmen eating properly! And it only took like 2 years c:
#Ask#Anon#UTDR#UTMV#Truce au#Record time if I do say so myself#Horror had a rough start all around#He also almost quit because he missed his brother#But he and Nightmare worked out in his deal that he could go back at least once a week to visit#Dust was looking into it because despite outward appearence he actually felt bad for this guy#And wanted to see him stop throwing up every couple hours#Thank you for giving me the chance to ramble!! I like thinking about the early days for these guys ^^

Will Byers: The Final Girl
Looking more at Will through Carol J. Clover's Men, Women, and Chain Saws
After making this post about Will's gender expression in which I referenced and was inspired by Carol J. Clover's book Men, Women, and Chain Saws, a book which was mentioned in this article, an article which brought to my attention my Mori motherthroat, I have since made it through the books introduction and have gotten all the way to the end... of the first chapter. Like I said, I'm a slow reader.
But it's within this first chapter that Clover actually talks about the Final Girl trope, something that I, and others, have suggested that Will falls into.
And to be honest, I didn't quite get the Final Girl labelling of Will until I started reading Clover's book and made my analysis. But now, it all makes sense. So I wanted to do a deeper dive into Will as the Final Girl of the show, how he embodies this trope, and how he subverts it.
Defining Will as a "Final Girl"
The idea of Will being the Final Girl is a way to allow Will to have the masculine hero role that the creators seem to be teasing for him, without sacrificing his more feminine role of victim. The term victim-hero that I used in my original post is one that I got from Clover herself, which she uses in reference to final girls. Final girls spend the majority of their film suffering at the hands of the killer (victim) before eventually turning the tables and getting revenge (hero) or is saved by an outside force, typically (but not always) a male one.
The Final Girl idea for Will doesn't come out of nowhere either, as the show itself plays with slasher tropes. Season one opens with a culling from the killer with the initial lab sequence, and dialogue from Brenner suggests that there were other victims, with only Will being left as the lone survivor. Season four feels more slasher-y, with the kills being on screen and the killer actually given a name and a face (making Max somewhat effectively the Final Girl for that season) and the season ends with the idea that the killer is still on the loose, with emphasis given to his connection with Will.
Carol J. Clover describes Final Girls as follows:
“The Final Girl is boyish, in a word. Just as the killer is not fully masculine, she is not fully feminine—not, in any case, feminine in the ways of her friends. Her smartness, gravity, competence in mechanical and other practical matters, and sexual reluctance set her apart from the other girls and ally her, ironically, with the very boys she fears or rejects, not to speak of the killer himself.”
Where Final Girls are often boyish girls, Will is a girlish boy. So it's not just the narrative that aligns him with other Final Girls, it's his characterization as well. His non-conformity to gender norms, as well as his romantic reluctancy, is part of the trope.
This is most notably exemplified in season three, when Will is unable to relate to the heterosexual-romance drama that his other male friends seem to be intertwined with. Even Dustin, who doesn't share much time with the main crew this season, had a girlfriend, something that allied him to Mike and Lucas and set Will apart.
In season one Will feels more Sally at the end of Texas Chainsaw Massacre, after being tortured for the last chunk of the film by the slaughterhouse family, Sally makes her escape on the back of a pickup truck. Will spends most of the season evading the killer (who we later learn to be Vecna) until he is rescued by Hopper and Joyce. Will and Sally never turn a weapon against the killer, but they endure, out last, and survive long enough to be rescued.
But Sally's case is just one way that the Final Girl story can end, and you're more likely to find a different kind of ending— with the Final Girl turning the tables on the killer and getting back at him. Sometimes, but not always, by brandishing the killers own type of weapon against him.
So now we're in a post-vol. 2 world where the killer is still at large, Will has been confirmed several times now to be the center of the final season, it's said to be Will's "coming-of-age" story and the killer's reign can't last forever.
Clover talks about "phallicization" when describing the journey of the Final Girl.
"The tale is no less one of maleness. If the experience of childhood can be—is perhaps ideally—enacted in female form, the breaking away requires the assumption of a phallus. The helpless child is gendered feminine; the autonomous adult of subject is gendered masculine; the passage from childhood to adulthood entails a shift from feminine to masculine."
But is that really the answer? For Will to wield a weapon against Vecna and brutally kill him? For Will's femininity to be framed as something that needs to be overcome?
To go in the opposite direction (castration) hardly seems like a solution either, especially considering that the phallus belongs to gay man. To castrate would be to suggest that the phallus— sexuality— is one that is dangerous and needs to be removed.
So how do we find a middle ground, one that maintains the phallus without eliminating Will's feminine character traits? And is there a solution suggested in the text?
Oh rod motif, you never get old
In episode one the phallus is represented as something destructive, the rifle, which Will puts down and arguably because so, was afforded more time than if he had used it.
As the series marches on, the phallus never goes away— it just transforms.
The phallus has gone from something of fear and destruction to a representation of love and creation. But Will has yet to self actualize because the above scene is also an act of castration because Will doesn't claim proper ownership over the painting. The phallus is a beautiful display of love, but only if it belongs to someone else.
The show may have (unsubtly) foreshadowed this self actualization as it relates to the phallus and the defeat of Vecna.
And I don't really think that people at this point want to spend the rest of the post reading about Will with powers theoretics so I'll just leave the suggestion there for now and allow you to come to your own conclusions.
Final (Girl) Thoughts
The idea that heroism is male and victimization is female is an idea that is as old as and older than Odysseus, but that isn't to necessarily say that heroism and self-actualization is a purely male idea, something that may have been contended by the existence of Final Girl herself.
"At the moment that the Final Girl becomes her own savior, she becomes a hero; and the moment that she becomes a hero is the moment that the male viewer gives up the last pretense of male identification. Abject terror may still be gendered feminine, but the willingness of one immensely popular current genre to re-represent the hero as an anatomical female would seem to suggest that at least one of the traditional marks of heroism, triumphant self-rescue, is no longer strictly gendered masculine."
#sorry if it meanders at the end. didnt really know a way to end without getting into the weeds of creation powers theory which i didnt wanna#do here so.#will byers#will byers has powers#gender analysis#my analysis#stranger things#also there was a lot more from clovers book that i wanted to talk about but tbh. im not smart enough to put it all into words lmao#i honestly reccomend just reading her book

I have a question, I don't know if it was asked before but what, is your top 10 Superboy rogues?
Okay... this list is going to be a little controversial.
1.Travv/Cyborg Superboy.
I know he's only really gotten one story but he's an excellent rogue, he's got a lot of potential, and I hope we see him again.
2. King Shark
I'll note here when I say King Shark I mean King Shark as the more classic serial killer demigod. King Shark should be intelligent, willing to lure people into traps, or capable of figuring out weaknesses (like how he realizes Superboy can still drown and focuses on drowning him).
3. Stinger
Stinger is a "this guy is only in two stories" guy but I actually really like him so much. He's a fun mercenary. He's actually sort of decent at his job. He hasn't got a massive ego propping him up.
4. Knockout
This is going to be the controversial one. Frankly. Knockout is a whole series of fucked up stuff. She absolutely SA'd Kon, and I think DC could and should deal with that. I don't really know how you do that without doing massive damage to the Secret Six stuff, but also it's been like half a decade since the last Secret Six stuff came out so maybe in a couple years that won't be as big a deal? I think she's a great villain so long as we are willing to face her origins and cruelty head on.
5. Amanda Spence
She should be Kon El's arch nemesis. Functionally. She killed his girlfriend, her father is Kon's creator (and his original DNA donor). She's obsessively out for revenge against Kon. Obviously she's the clear Archnemesis and I don't get why everyone stopped using her.
6. Kindred Grim
I'm counting Superboy and the Ravers by the way. Yeah. He's a creep, there's elements of his character that are clear metaphors for committing SA. He's pure evil. And to some extent that sort of works? His main issue is that he gets torn apart by the Predators (Emotional Entities for the Star Sapphires) in the final issue of Superboy and the Ravers, but I could even see bringing him back as a major villain for Kon especially if I was doing a relaunch of Ravers (I'd probably even keep his original ending but state that he eventually managed to escape the Predator's Prison Dimension and give him the name Incubus).
7. Match
Early Match is way higher. He's a rad Kon clone with even weirder powers, he does psychic blasts and is intelligent and cold and calculating and in every way is a sort of reverse of Kon. Later Match sort of sucks and is just a slightly younger Bizarro.
8. Technician
I think there's a lot of potential in a guy who steals tech, reverse engineers it, and then sells it to Supervillains for use in weaponry as a bigger overarching villain. Especially if we wanted to give Kon a more permanent home, he'd be a great villain if Kon's city was on the West Coast where he could act as a Silicon Valley villain character.
9.Scavenger
I love this guy sad I ranked him so low. He's great for a fun story or two, but he's not really a major villain we could keep bringing back. His main deal is that he's got an ancient enemy he's gathering weapons to fight and is incredibly paranoid about it. It's not clear whether his enemy is even real or if he's just delusional.
10. Neon
He died in his first story. He's Roxy Leech's obsessive asshole of an ex. He tries to kill Kon to get Roxy back. I think there's a lot of stuff to do with him as a vengeful maniac with a supersuit who hates Kon and is obsessed with Kon's sister (Roxy).
Some other cool villains.
Black Zero:
Basically what if Kon-El became Magneto and there's a lot of fun in that concept.
Loophole:
Depending on who uses the tech and title either a serious hyper competent threat, or a middle aged loser going through a midlife crisis who dedicated himself to crime in response.
Sidearm:
Kon's recurring fail-rogue who has a robot arm usually with a brand new (and still ineffectual) gimmick every time he shows up. Unfortunately he died while working for Amanda Waller's Suicide Squad.
#Dc Comics#superboy#kon el#dccomics#conner kent#comics#dc#kon el kent#FeatherDarkAnswers#Kon El#Superheroes#There are other villains which I have really mixed feelings on or could like if properly reinvented.

Nature spirit Star flower? Bleeding Clear Sky dry eight times over? I am curious please explain more
Here's the general idea of it, this would all come after the end of BB!DOTC, which closes out with the aftermath of the First Battle and the naming of Windstar, Riverstar, Thunderstar, Shadowstar, and Skystar.
NOTE: You're basically about to read notes. This is not solidified yet. I have "Moments" I want to build towards, but they're loosely strung together. Fragments.
First off, Hollyleaf's Century gave us the intro to the Four Gods of this region.
They go by many names, but each is connected to a season. Sol, Midnight, Rock, and the man of the hour himself, One Eye, God of Summer.
One Eye was last seen possessing Lion's Roar. It's established that you need a certain number of violent, blood-based sacrifices to invoke him.
And, of course, he is drawn to the smell of death, the reek of rot in the summer's sun. The First Battle called him here, investigating the wonderful scent.
Star Flower is his 'daughter'. Natural objects of great value can manifest into beings of their own once destroyed, and Star Flower was an extinct, localized species of forest flower back at the Lake.
Still working out the exact rules of that, but it seems like nature spirits do have to be born somehow (like Broken to Yellow). One Eye found her in his travels and took her under his wing.
So anyway back to the arrival of One Eye in the Clans
(WIP STUFF, basically put a bunch of ???s past this point, this is plotting stuff.)
He is currently still possessing the body of Lion's Roar, an old and ragged thing. He's not fancy like Sol, who likes to travel around through time with its change powers.
One Eye took a shine to Clear Sky and his warmongering, infiltrating his group, and eventually making his nature known by eating Tom
He has a palette for violent people and accumulated evil. He will promise you 'revenge' to get at your enemy and make you into a delicious meal as well.
Skystar is NEVER getting a redemption arc in BB!DOTC, but he's not a moron either. He realizes that Sharptooth is practically trying to season him, and the horrifying death of Tom is what makes him work with the other Clans
to save his own giblets
Thunderstar Did Not Like That, but there's a bigger fish to fry
(Side note: One Eye was probably deified long ago for being the inventor of fire... vague cooking motif, perhaps?)
The Clans worked together to get rid of One Eye. It's important that the person who landed the final blow was a Tribe-born cat-- probably Sun Shadow.
One Eye vows revenge on his killer's homeland as he dies... not realizing that Sun Shadow was not born here, he was born at the tribe.
(May shuffle this moment to later, you'll see why in a moment)
Star Flower at this moment begins her own work, buddying up close to Skystar, getting close to him so she can stab him in the back
And she does! She drags him to the place where One Eye was buried, and bleeds him slowly, exploiting his 9 lives with a horrible magic loophole;
If he dies of blood loss, StarClan heals THAT, not any of the tiny injuries she's put on his body.
So he's letting out 8x the blood of a normal cat.
But before he can die for the last time, she is interrupted, probably by Thunderstar
She offers him this; "Go on! Take the last sacrifice! One Eye will be grateful to you. You'll get what you want, have your revenge, and Skystar will never threaten you or your family ever again."
Seeing Skystar, pitiful, bloody, and helpless, he refuses this. This wouldn't be honorable. To kill to win his feud is not justice; it's revenge.
(Here's when I was thinking of shuffling that earlier Sun Shadow moment to, have the resurrection be incomplete and have a final fight of partially-summoned One Eye. Angrily lays that curse for having his plan thwarted. Boss fight against half-fossilized cave lion.)
After this, I'm not sure what to do with Star Flower. She just killed Skystar 8 times, so, SkyClan isn't going to take her back.
I could have her be wandering, a loner or rogue who is just part of the background now. Maybe I don't need to wrap it all up here just yet.
So, there you have it! This is pretty rough but it's where I'm at with her.
Since this is post-main arc DOTC, it may make for a very good redux of Thunderstar's Echo. Maybe Thunderstar's Justice? Something like that. Make the central conceit be Thunderstar vs Skystar, wrapping up their arc from the main series.
#I'll tag as Thunderstar's Justice until I decide on a name#Thunderstar's Summoning or Ritual could be a good one too though and a unique title#BB!DOTC#Better Bones au

Dwight Fairfield - Headcanons
Relationships. . .
Dwight gets along with, (almost,) everyone in the realm, after spending so much time in the realm, (and getting into a few fights,) he's learned that hating people isn't worth his time anymore. Though he still has his opinions about people, of course, but he won't say he hates someone.
He keeps his friends to a smaller number, he doesn't like seeing them get sacrificed and then get tortured by the Entity, and sometimes get completely remade. Forgetting who they were completely, he didn't like seeing that - so eventually he just stopped befriending people. He stopped after Sable arrived at the campfire.
"Well, I don't really (uh) enjoy watching the people I like get killed over and over, so I kinda just stopped," Quote from Dwight Fairfield, recorded by Zarina Kassir on 1/25 - 1:07 / 13:07
Dwight does befriend his closest friends though, whenever they do give up during the torment.
Meg, Claudette, Jake, Nea, David, Ace, Yui.
Other than that, it's up to the others to decide if they feel that connection with him after being reborn, so the cultist calls it.
Yui
He literally fell in love with her at first glance, he actually was the last person to finally meet her. He was completely clueless that someone had joined the realm. . . Let alone a new killer, not only did the Entity throw him in with the new survivor, whom he fell in love with, he also got slammed into the ground a few times because of Oni.
They like to plan small dates, within the trials and outside, Dwight also moved over to Yui's claimed area, which is more towards the fog that separates them from the killers, he likes it and hates it because he can feel them staring but he can also talk to the ones that are his friends.
Their dates aren't usually the best, the Entity takes the flowers he gets for Yui as an offering and burns them right in front of the two. He frowns and she just tells him it's okay.
"Honestly, it's really cute how he gets me these little flowers but um, Claudette uses them a apart of her, uh, what's it called? I dunno, to make out cuts and bruises feel better, and the Entity knows when he has them... He tried to sneak them in a toolbox and a med-kit, I think he finally gave up once he realized that it didn't work in a map either," Quoted from Yui Kimura, recorded by Zarina Kassir on 1/6 - 2:28 / 14:28
Dwight isn't as open about his relationship with her as she is, which isn't for bad reasons but he hears how the others talk about the openly lovely dovey couples, and he does not like exactly what he hears. He does want to subject her to any negative comments from others.
He's very protective of her, yeah she's stronger than him and she definitely doesn't need protection from a pizza boy but he still can't help but try. He'll be all bandaged up and beat, she won't have a single scratch or anything and he will still throw himself at the killer for her.
He has started to ask Vittorio if he is able to weld a ring for him, yes he can just buy one from the bloodweb but he wants it to be special for her and only her. And he knows that anything can happen, like the Entity can decide she doesn't need a survivor anymore and discard them completely if she so wanted.
Dwight doesn't really care, he knows he wants to spend his day with her, whether it be long or short, he knows he wants her to have his time until the Entity decides she doesn't need him anymore.
Killers
Now, Dwight is scared of most of the killers, but he befriended a few. Being Evan, Philip, Max, and the Unknown, who have yet to give themselves a name.
He doesn't enjoy being put into trials with them because he knows they won't let him kill himself and he hates to know they'll get punished for it. . . Which means the Entity puts them in the same trial all the fucking time.
He befriended Evan very quickly, they actually started a group to defeat the Entity, they managed to find a spot where the Entity can't hear them and they can actually be in the same area, instead of being parted by the fog wall between Killers and survivors.
Feng
Everyone has some sort of issue with Feng, Dwight's is that she won't stop writing smut of him and Evan, which is a problem because Dwight has a girlfriend, Evan is a dear friend and Dwight is convinced the guy has feelings for someone.
So, his feelings for her aren't the best, again. He doesn't believe in hating people but he does have some strong opinions about her that he refused to share with the press.
People who hate him.
Felix, Yun-Jin Lee, Jonah, and Jill.
"I don't like him because he drugged a man! It was all over the news, I actually thought I died and went to hell when I saw him, I think he's evil and a psychopath and I don't understand why he's not a killer," Quote from Felix Richter, recorded by Zarina Kassir on 1/6 - 10:17 / 22:17
Jonah and Jill had the same reasons, they were law enforcement in some way. Jonah had already heard the story and Jill learned it eventually.
"Who? Dweet Farfield, oh, I think he's a little loser who doesn't deserve to be my friend... He also left me on the hook for more than five seconds when being right there," Quote from Yun-Jin Lee, recorded by Zarina Kassir on 1/6 - 10:21 / 22:21
Card Night
Every, what they can assume to be Wednesday, Dwight, Ace, David, and Bill all gather for a game of cards, sometimes they'll include Tapp or Vittorio but most of the time, they'll keep the game closed.
They gamble mostly their bloodpoints, but sometimes if one has a winning streak, they'll throw up their Shards or Auric Cells, though they only offer the cells if they're playing extremely well.
Dwight will only as far as his shards, he likes to buy his outfits with the cells. Sometimes the Entity will take in requests if he gives enough cells to her.
Dwight makes sure to remind Ace to keep their wins and winnings down.
The Score.
Ace - 65 wins, 1,237,980 BP, 4,268 IS, -50 AC
David - 26 wins, 274,829 BP, 100 IS, 5 AC
Bill - 89 wins, 2,899,267 BP, 16,294 IS, 600 AC
Dwight - 46 wins, 156,278 BP, 2,097 IS, 10 AC
Tapp - 10 wins, 25,679 BP, 1,278 IS, 0 AC
Vittorio - 7 wins, 16,000 BP, 200 IS, -10 AC
Overall they have played 243 games together, starting a bit after Wesker joined the realm.
Dwight doesn't like seeing his friends die so he kills himself for them, he will run back into the map and sacrifice himself so they can get out, he knows he has a stronger will than anyone because of how long he's been there.
When he finally does give up, he makes sure to have a notebook that has everything written down so he can't forget, he makes sure to keep his notes written down about Yui some place safe he can't even risk losing them.
Now only a few times has he actually given up, his will is pretty strong and sucks to suck, he is very stubborn. He'd rather live forever and watch everyone he loves die than let the Entity get the best over his mental health and give in to death.
Dwight doesn't give a fuck, as long as the Entity can't get her full feeding off of him. He will suffer as much as he needs but he will not become a husk because she was able to get all of that emotion off of him.
Now, Dwight is a bit Favorited by the Entity, he gives her a lot and she returns it by going a little less harsh on him in the punishments. Along with giving him not so shitty clothing and if he asks nicely, (with a little offering,) he gets clothes made and hairdos.
Dwight for a good while when everything started, the signs of the Entity wanting him and his slow decent to madness into the realm, he thought he was in a real horror movie, the things he saw and hear. Those things were something he saw in the realm - which made so much sense after he got used to his new life.
It doesn't make him feel much better, but he can't say that he would rather be in his own realm. He wouldn't have gotten the chance to find Yui or escape his dead end job. In a way, he's a bit grateful that he got taken. His life wasn't any good in his realm.
Dwight dabbles in playing musical instruments, what is he supposed to do with all his free time? Not learn something new? Plus he enjoyed putting on shows with the other music goers.
He was able to learn new songs from people who got taken past 2015 and he was able to learn songs that didn't exist in his realm! It was nice, sometimes they got to forget they were in a giant spider Goddess realm who sucked on their emotions they produced.
He has learned many songs and he enjoys it because he lost music when he was literally working all the time because he was so poor, he missed being able to live within musics lines.
He was very much into music when he was in high school, being alternative, music was very big with it. He hates that he could never find time to play a song, at least not a full song. And the music he did hear was not anything he wanted to listen to.
Some people in the realm just flat out don't like the man and they have their reasons, mostly what happened to his old boss Lazar, how he drugged him and the man almost killed someone while being on the drugs he gave the boss.
He has been called a psychopath many many times, and sometimes it gets in his head but the only thing he can do is ignore all of it, he can't let their words get to him. So he ignores them.
Dwight has a bit of attachment issues, he was really bad when he didn't have Yui, it was more towards Claudette and Meg. Claudette is like a mother to everyone and Meg was just a really good friend.
Now Yui, he is so incredibly attached to her. And when he isn't with her, he is thinking about her. A lot he hopes that she's thinking about him.
Yes. he may be a little love sick but he hasn't had many girlfriends in the past and when he did, they weren't compatible. He is with Yui.
Dwight discovered a spot within the realm where the Entity can't reach, where she has absolutely no power or control there. He brought Evan to see if he was able to cross the fog and into this area, he was, so they started to plan.
They basically made a resistance and they recruit people into it, not until they are sure that they can trust her. Evan and Dwight both fear that some people are working for the Entity, at least more survivors than Killers.
Mikaela was a person who wasn't allowed to know for a while, they didn't know because she was given something new in the realm. She had special privilege.
Sable is someone who isn't allowed to know at all, no matter how much Mikaela begs - Dwight fears that she isn't real, that she was made to fuel Mikaela. Yes, sometimes she forgets things that Sable swore happened but she trusted her.
Dwight being one of the founders, he usually gets the votes to not tell her.
I'm back!! and gonna be staying >:)

Alright!! Let's say that the Other is pulled into the Fog, who would be the survivor counterpart to his killer? Option 1: Natalie, who he never kills and is now in an endless loop of cat and mouse with as well as other residents catching onto his obsession and only sparing her in the trials (maybe even going after killers who harm / kill her in their own trials). Option 2: Brooke, who is in a never-ending cycle of escape and be killed, and is always the target of the Other. (1 / 2)
Anon you're mind is simply so beautiful I want to live in it forever oh my god........................
First of all, can we acknowledge how absolutely bitchin' it would be to have a Hell Fest map??? Like if instead of being open in a themed field/neighborhood, it was all contained in a never ending haunted house maze????? I'd lose my mind. I would also lose my life several times because I have no sense of direction lmao.
God, both options are so good, especially with their angst potential. Because don't forget, The Other has kids, two of 'em. I can't imagine what additional damage that's going to do to his mind to know that they're abandoned and alone.
BUT LET'S START WITH OPTION ONE...I actually read a really similar fic for DBD Michael and Laurie! (inb4 anyone asks NO they were NOT siblings ofc he was just a slasher horny on main for a pretty girl). It's one of those observed patterns that people can be slow to pick up on simply because they can't believe it's real, and doubly so since there's plenty of survivors to rotate through. It's easy to use Nat as bait to lure The Other away for the survivors to escape first, just as easy as it is for The Other to use wounded survivors to lure Nat over to help so he can scoop her up himself. Yeah, he always lets her go at the exit and gets punished by The Entity for it, but he's pretty damn good in the other trails without Nat, so it all evens out.
It's also fun to imagine the downtime between trials, where Nat and The Other would have the option to leave their respective camps and roam around their designated "worlds" before the next game. Honestly, it feels like the cat and mouse never ends for Natalie, poor girl >:3c Nowhere she goes is safe from this psycho watching her. She almost prefers the trials when it's a random killer and she dies, because at least then she can appreciate the relief of being out of the hunt. But it also gives them a bit of time to become a little more...casual around each other. Nat's going to have to cycle through her stages of grief and eventually accept her new reality, where at least there's one killer that isn't looking to gut her. She's not happy still, but at least she doesn't flinch away anymore when The Other gives her his jacket because she's sulking in the cold for having lost a trial.
Option two is so fucking angst ridden though, it's unbelievable. It's not often you have more than one legit final girl, and I can imagine The Other being beyond pissed that he has to be stuck with the girl he wasn't able to kill in time rather than the girl he was actually stalking all night. I wonder if The Entity would give Brooke a similar "deal" that she has to survive a certain number of games in order to be reunited with Nat as a reward. It may be his final girl, but that's HER (literal) ride or die best friend forever, the idea of being separated and trapped with your bestie's slasher has to break her heart.
And The Other makes no show of hiding his distain of Brooke either. She's never shown any mercy, in fact he's the most ruthless with her. He'll ignore easy targets just to keep her knocked down, only hooking her at the very end so she has to suffer through her wounds the whole trial. He'll be damned if he doesn't reach the "quota" in record time to get the girl of his dreams. Obviously, the deal is likely rigged and neither of them would ever actually earn the reward of having Nat back, but imagine if somehow, someway...she did show up?
Never permanently, just periodically coming and going during some kind of glitch-in-the-matrix-slipping-through-the-backrooms type of deal due to how strongly she's connected to the two of them. Finally figuring out where her best friend has disappeared to, seeing what absolute hell she and other people are trapped in and trying to find a way to rescue her, and coming face to face once again with a murderer who will now stop at nothing to keep her here in the trails with him forever. The added threat that because she's not a survivor or a killer, if she dies, then that's it - permadeath.
#ask#anon#the other x natalie#slasher x final girl#natalie#the other#hell fest#hell fest 2018#this AU is so fucking good anon thank you

☔ and 🌪?
☔Is there a fic concept you have that you'd like to just explain and share because you're not sure you'll ever write it? If so, what is it?
Okay, so back when I was really into the show Bones, I was very much not pleased with how the Gormagon plot ended. Zach didn't make any sense as the apprentice, but I do know the plot was impacted heavily by the writer's strike so it was what it was. But I had an idea for a xOver with Buffy the Vampire Slayer as a fix fic that would pick up where the third season of Bones ended and was post series for BtVS.
When Zach is arrested, the new Watchers Council sends Andrew to investigate because Gormagon wasn't just a regular serial killer. He was a warlock too and so his apprentice must have been as well. Except Andrew quickly realizes three things. 1.) Zach isn't a warlock and in fact doesn't even know magic is real. 2.) Zach does, however, reek of dark magic and from what Andrew can tell it's likely affected his memories, indicating that while Zach thinks he's the apprentice... he isn't. And 3.) the magic on Zach is very, very familiar to Andrew. Because that magic is his brother's.
With Andrew realizing that the real apprentice of Gormagon is Tucker, he suspects that the Gormagon may not have actually been a warlock after all - it was all Tucker using a non-magical serial killer to hide something worse going on and using Zach as an unwitting spy. Willow is less certain, but she acknowledges that Andrew knows his brother better. Willow and Kennedy arrange to have Zach released and Willow works with Zach to restore his real memories - confirming that Tucker is the real apprentice.
Meanwhile, Bones' team and Agent Booth are read into magic being real as part of a team up with the Watcher's Council to capture Tucker. They're skeptical at first, but eventually convinced. Takes more to convince Brennan than the rest and Angela actually already knew (to no one's surprise) but they all come around. They're relieved to find out that Zach isn't actually a serial killer's apprentice, but it's unnerving to find out what magic did make him do and believe he did.
Since Andrew can identify Tucker's magic the best, he's the one in charge of reversing the effects of Tucker's magic on Zach. The two wind up getting pretty close and eventually there'd have been a Zach/Andrew ship going on.
Willow and Kennedy would have been on point tracking down Tucker, reinvestigating the various Gormagon crimes. Tucker became the man's apprentice around the same time he started messing with Zach's mind. Tucker likely sought Zach out in order to use him to keep an eye on the investigation. He wanted to use Zach for more, but Zach fought back because he wouldn't hurt anyone and especially wouldn't kill anyone. Which is why he ended up hurting himself instead.
Tucker would have started killing again after Zach was cleared and eventually there'd have been a confrontation where he'd attempt to use Zach against Andrew and it winds up backfiring on Tucker quite badly. He's either caught and stripped of his powers (or has his powers locked or something like that) by Willow... or his magic backfires on him to the point where it kills him.
I actually do have a few scenes of this written somewhere, but I stopped being interested in Bones after a while. I think if I were to ever rekindle my interest in the show I'd revisit this plot, though. I like the idea of Andrew confronting his brother and seeing in Tucker where the road Andrew was on with Warren and Johnathan (and briefly the First) might have led him if he hadn't decided to take the opportunity the Scoobies offered him and become a better person. And Zach deserved a much better outcome than he received.
🌩️ Share something funny/cracky from your WIP.
It takes nine months before the coma finally comes to an end. Eobard is sure there's a metaphor to be found in there about rebirth and rising in the face of adversity, but he sees it more like those video game characters who sleep in at the start of the game and then are rarely allowed to stay at an Inn by the player for the rest of the game. Barry's going to be having a hard time sleeping this next year because Eobard's going to be putting him through a carefully collated 'boss rush' over the course of the next year.
... was he using that term correctly? Barry might not sleep well over the course of the next year, but he'd still be allowed to rest and recover between meta fights, so maybe it wasn't...
Eobard was clearly spending far too much time with Cisco Ramon. He didn't used to know anything about video games and now he knows that a boss rush dungeon is a thing. What is he doing with his life?
From Timeless Nonsense a fic I will eventually polish up enough to finally start posting. The whole thing is basically a crack fic where Barry wakes up from his coma well aware who Eobard really is and actually trying to help Eobard out... because Barry realizes that what Eobard wants isn't really what he needs. And with the future of the Speed Force at stake - the far, far, far, far future, admittedly - Barry needs Eobard on his side. Whatever it takes.
It'll be Eobarry - which fits with the crack theme - and the fact that their relationship is somewhat unhealthy (understatement, I know) for Barry is part of what pushes Eobard to actually try to improve himself. So it's a silly crack story... but also crack taken seriously? Admittedly, I haven't gotten far because I'm more interested in my Eobard vs Eobard series. Herobard is more compelling to me than redeeming Eowells right now.

Rock, Paper, Scissors | Alice Feeney | Published 2021 | *SPOILERS*
Things have been wrong with Mr. and Mrs. Wright for a long time. When Adam and Amelia win a weekend away to Scotland, it might be just what their marriage needs. Self-confessed workaholic and screenwriter Adam Wright has lived with face blindness his whole life. He can't recognize friends or family, or even his own wife.
Every anniversary, the couple exchange traditional gifts - paper, cotton, pottery, tin - and each year Adam's wife writes him a letter that she never lets him read. Until now. They both know this weekend will make or break their marriage, but they didn't randomly win this trip. One of them is lying, and someone doesn't want them to live happily ever after.
Ten years of marriage. Ten years of secrets. And an anniversary they will never forget.
Rock Paper Scissors is the latest exciting domestic thriller from the queen of the killer twist, New York Times bestselling author Alice Feeney.
Marriages are hard work, which is what Amelia and Adam Wright are finding out. Hoping a remote getaway to a chapel in Scotland can either make or break their marriage, they head off with their dog, Bob, in hopes of righting the wrongs. Adam suffers from a condition called propagnosia, where he is unable to recognize the faces of people around him. He uses other defining features, such as hair color or glasses, to recognize those people closest to him.
The trip starts off on the wrong foot. After having won the weekend getaway in a raffle from the Battersea Dogs Home, where Amelia works, they are met with darkened roads and a winter storm. But they arrive to the foreboding looking former chapel turned home for their getaway.
The chapel is spooky, and many doors are locked and they are unable to get inside. They try to make the best of their time together, but being spied on makes it difficult to relax, as Amelia is sure she has seen someone watching her outside of one of the stained glass windows.
Interspersed with the story are letters written to Adam from his wife, over the course of their 10 year marriage. We see the ups and downs, to the eventual downfall of the marriage leading to where we are now. Unfortunately, Adam and his wife had suffered a miscarriage after trying desperately to have a child, leading to one round of unsuccessful IVF to a successful round that led to the miscarriage; Adam's work as a screenwriter kept him busy, particularly when he began working with acclaimed author Henry Winter in adapting some of his novels into movies or TV shows. His wife feels that Henry is impeding on her marriage with her husband, and for good reason.
Back to the main storyline, we also meet Robin, the supposed "caretaker" of the property. She lives in a small hut on the property with her pet rabbit, and after Adam and Amelia's dog, Bob, goes missing, the couple attempt to seek Robin's help in order to find Bob, but they are unable to get in touch with her as she ignores their pleas.
At this point, we learn that Robin is actually Adam's first wife, and the writer of the letters we have been reading throughout. After having found Adam in bed with Amelia, she left, returning to her father's property in Scotland after having been asked to return by him as his health was failing. Her father is non-other than Henry Winter himself, and the reason that Robin was so hellbent on staying away from him is because Robin believed that he had killed her mother while she was just 8 years old, and that he frequently bullied her until she finally left at 18 and never looked back.
But, Robin has learned a great deal about Amelia. When Adam was only 13 years old, he witnessed his mother being hit and killed by a hit-and-run accident while she had been out walking his dog. Despite it being his responsibility, he never cared for the animal himself, hence why she was out, wearing her signature red kimono that she always wore when she had gentleman callers and is the only defining feature that he remembers about the accident, because his condition makes him unable to recognize the person behind the wheel of the car.
Henry, after Robin and Adam married, hired a private detective to follow them, and did so for many years until Robin left after Adam's affair. But it was during this time that the private investigator, named Samuel Smith, found out that Amelia had once lived in the same flat building as Adam when they were teenagers, and that she had been the individual behind the car. Robin's motive for inviting them to this Scottish getaway was to win her husband back, and get rid of Amelia for good.
In a letter that she finally lets Adam read informs him that she was in fact Henry's daughter, and that she never mentioned it to him previously simply because the man was a monster and always treated her horribly growing up. She changed her surname to her mother's maiden name after she left in order to escape him, but after Adam began struggling with his career, Robin requested her father's help and set Adam on the relationship journey with her father that she never expected.
After he died, she finished the novel he had in progress and had it published in his name, so nobody knows that Henry has been dead for the last two years. She now plans to write another novel, titled Rock Paper Scissors, just like the manuscript he had written so long ago and was so fond of, to be written in Henry's name and will state that Henry requests that Adam turn it into a film or TV adaptation as soon as possible, but only if Adam leaves Amelia, and she explains why in her letter.
Adam reads the letter, pushed through the door as Amelia and Adam try to leave and in her haste to try to rectify the situation, Amelia runs at Adam with a knife but is stopped by Robin.
Six months later, Robin and Adam are back together living in their quaint London home, together again at last. Neither discuss what happened in the Scottish mountains all those months ago, but it is clear that one of the two of them murdered Amelia and left her there, after it was clear that Amelia used her friendship with Robin to get close to Adam to make up for what she had done all those years ago.
But, in Adam's POV, we learn that HE had actually been the one driving the vehicle that had killed his mother, but after the accident, Amelia had pushed him out of the car and drove off, and because of his condition, he couldn't give a proper ID on her to put her behind bars, and never admitted his own wrongdoing.
Eventually, Sam, the private eye, goes to Scotland in order to let Henry know that Robin and her husband had gotten back together himself, as he was sure this would make him happy. A woman working in the grocery store provides directions, but not before stating that Henry's daughter had left many years ago because she had been a little out there, going so far as to cut her own hair when she had not gotten her way, and that she used to get in trouble for making up stories, especially stories about witches. When Sam arrives at the property, he finds Henry's gravestone in the cemetery behind the chapel, along with a fresh grave indicating that Amelia's body is also buried on the property as well. He also notices that the paper crane, an emeraldn ring and a pair of scissors shaped like a stork, the weapon used to murder Amelia, are in a glass box on top of Henry's gravestone, and Sam swears that he hears the sound of someone whispering his name three times into the wind...just like the woman at the grocery store said he would.

Delta anon here, and on the idea of Killer purposefully knocking off Delta's items and breaking them, and then feigning innocence - I have three ideas.
Idea one: Delta starts acting out in malicious compliance.
This can either lead to Delta pretending not to care about his broken items and passive aggressively telling Killer something along the lines of, "Oh no, it's so obviously not your fault, you just can't help yourself, just be careful next time, you're better than this". With the most passive aggressive smile they can give. It pisses Killer off into stopping that game. Or that Delta suddenly does it back - but because Color and Epic generally know him as sorta clumsy, he gets away with it much better - its an uneven pattern of accidentally breaking one of Killer's things, fake apologizing (it kills them to apologize to him, but in order to make it seem realistic, they force themselves to), offering help in cleaning it up, and overall really making it seem like it's an accident. Something that he's much better at than Killer, because I'd imagine Killer does it at every opportunity - Delta does it when it's easy enough to make himself feign innocence.
There is no pattern for Killer to pick up on and Killer has no idea when it'll coming, if it comes at all. It drives him crazy not knowing if or when Delta will break something, or what it is that they'd break. And if he tries to bring it up to Color, it'll probably get blown off as Delta was just clumsy that day, or had accidentally dropped it. Delta only does it to unimportant but specific things. He wouldn't break something that could give away what he's doing.
Idea two: Delta fakes that something Killer broke is Color's, or that Killer broke something of Delta's that is actually Color's.
Going with the first one of Delta pretending like Killer broke one of Color's things. In that instance, the minute he hears that glass shatter and he turns, instead of getting mad like usual, Delta fakes shock and asks "why the hell did you break Color's mug??" Which obviously ruins Killer's fun as he begins to panic. Delta enjoys the panic immensely, and even more so when Color returns and Killer gets frantic. Obviously Killer would eventually find out that Delta had lied about the mug being Color's, but it would be suspicious enough so that Color questions if he was breaking Delta's stuff on purpose.
Now, for tricking Killer into breaking one of Color's things. Delta would only do this as a last resort. In this situation, he would take out one of Color's mugs and pretend it's his. Killer breaks it on 'accident'. Delta acts surprised, and so does Color. Color immediately asks why Killer broke his mug. Confused, Killer says he thought it was Delta's. Color corrects him and says it's actually his, and why would you want to break Delta's things? Have you been doing this on purpose?
Obviously Killer would panic as his game was finally caught, and Delta plays right along. He'd probably say that he was just getting Color's mug out for him, so what's the point of breaking it? What is wrong with you?
In both these situations, the end goal remains - Delta gets Killer caught somehow. And it brings him great joy to see how Killer panics as he's caught.
Idea three: Killer eventually starts breaking more and more things that Delta holds close. Eventually it would escalate to either personal items, or that Delta literally just doesn't bring his items around Killer ever.
If Killer broke a personal item, Delta would obviously start a fight pretty quickly. And upon being questioned by Color for why he started the fight, he'd finally snap and explain all the things Killer was doing in breaking his stuff. This also gets Killer caught, and in a lot more trouble.
Thoughts?
This does put a smile on my face. Someone should choke Killer or kick his teeth in. (Or maybe not. Not only would that bitch enjoy it, that’s probably exactly the reaction he’d trying to provoke in Delta.
Make him angry enough to hurt Killer, and Killer gets to live in his cozy little world where everyone can be pushed in just the right way to hurt or want to hurt, and maybe with the extra validation and satisfaction of Color protecting or defending him.
((Bro needs to realize that neither he nor Color would be genuinely happy just retreating into their own little world and forgetting everything or everyone else. That’s not gonna make your world feel any safer little dude.))
But ultimately I’m always a fan of Killer having his bullshit turned right back around on him—especially with the idea of possibly breaking something of Color’s stuff or somehow hurting him. Haha fuck face that’s what you get. (Little bro needs to realize how his actions have consequences and could also hurt Color. You aren’t protecting Color, you’re protecting yourself.
I can imagine itd hurt to think that someone you cared so much about and risked so much for, who you thought trusted you, thought of you as someone who would just leave the second they become “boring” or “useless.” I’m sure itd hurt Color a lot to know that Killer thinks of him like that, that Killer thinks he has to do or say things to keep Color happy and to make him stay with him.
As if Color doesn’t want to truly be around him, as if he doesn’t truly love or care about Killer, as if Killer is some burden or charity case to him. He understands why, he knows exactly why Killer thinks this way—he knows who made him think like that, and he knows that once upon a time it was a a reality for Killer—but that doesn’t mean it won’t hurt. Especially since it’s also hurting Delta and Beta.)
But ultimately I like to think that Color manages to slowly introduce Killer and Delta to eachother—at a proper pace for Stage 1’s fear and Stage 2’s terrorital behavior. It’s unlikely to fully make things perfect, im certain Killer will end up starting something, but hopefully killer and delta will manage to eventually get on better terms. (That’s kinda a lie lmao I love the drama. But also it’d be funny if it just becomes how they behave with eachother now, only no more breaking personal shit and playing mind games. And no more killer trying to genuinely hurt delta somehow.)
(Also on the topic of delta pretending to help pick up what he dropped—gave me an image of Killer watching Delta bend or lower down to pick stuff up and Killer literally just kicking him in the face or stomping on his head like he did to Swap in the comics. Little bro’s gonna be shaking with the urge to resist it lmao—probably mindful of how far he can actually go to avoid upsetting Color. Assuming this is a Killer that’s actually trying to get better. Otherwise he might just immediately act on that urge 💀.)

Day 3: Are there any killers in the fog that he fears the most and why?
Day 4: How did he react when he learned her basically immortal (ie dies on hook but wakes up at the campfire)
From your secret Santa who again sorry for the lateness!
DAY THREE
What makes a killer 'scary' is not that they do what they do, why. It's not something that he stops to think about often while being pursued in his trials, but among the many that he's participated in thus far, he has taken notice that some take a lot of pride and joy in the art of killing. It's not an act, because calling it that makes it sound simple. The more complex it is, the more torturous it is, the scarier the killer. Because they are no longer simply a killer, but someone who lives for the continuous torture, someone who thrives off of it.
The Doctor, in his regards, is one of the crueler hunters amongst them in the fog because of this. He will find you, but he won't kill you straight away.
The more prolonged death is, the more he fears for when it will arrive, adding to the building madness already brought from trials spent with Herman. For him, it starts to get really bad when he starts to see the hallucinations, he can't trust what's in front of him or what's beside him. He'll see the electric killer in most cases, but sometimes, there is another amongst the figments of his scattered mind. The image of his late lover appears before him like a ghost, observing him with those kind eyes, and it nearly gets him every time. It's not real, it's not, but he can't help it. He'll go to the apparition, just for her to vanish within his arms. Frustration overflows from the well inside, and he cries out.
Snapping out of it does not cure him of despair, and there isn't any which way to get accustomed or used to it. There is only screaming, and then there is pain. The worst part might be hearing the killer laugh. While this is a job to some, a chore at the very least, to him it is a game. It is something that he is all too enthused to participate in to experiment on the lab rats that the Entity provides. When he is released from the scrutiny of the Doctor, he is neither relieved to be sent back to the campfire or prepared to take him on again. Let alone another trial.
While he will never admit it to any of the others, he is shaken up so terribly bad. The effects of the previous trial still seem to linger, and the static mumbling in his head persists even as he tries to force them to go away. At unrest and unease, he struggles with finding a way to acclimate to his previous state. He can't decide if he wants to be left alone or sit in the company of another until he's settled down. Even when he does, eventually, the bitterness doesn't ever fade.
DAY FOUR
With his first death, he thought that he might finally be able to see Selene again. That he'd go to heaven or to wherever she was to be with her. He'd hoped to find her in their shared bed, awaking to the early morning sunrise as they'd get on with their day or sleep in. He believed that the nightmare was over, but when he found that it was not, he could not have been more distraught. Immortality was what his lady had wanted, what she had killed him over in her sacrifice, but for him to take it in her stead? There was no end to this nightmare. A burning anger filled his veins, curled his fists into balls as he desperately tried to search for a way out.
Either returned to the campfire or set somewhere anew, he ran. He ran until he could not do so any longer, and after that? He cried. He fell to his knees and sobbed besides himself. To be immortal and tortured for as long as time deemed it necessary? That was hell. Hell that he could not fathom that he deserved.
Even while knowing that they'd just be brought back to life, that didn't ease anything for him about the trials, or the blood sport that him and the other survivors were thrust into without a word. If anything, it made him appreciate things more, to take more consideration into the life that he had cultivated over the years and how easy he's had it up until now. It makes him feel even worse about attempting to take that away before he met Selene. At least with knowing that he won't stay dead, he can make it up to the people who's lives end up getting lost during the trials he's in. He doesn't go into them selfishly, but not being able to save them hurts him.

Ocs with a serial killer reader??? Like the reader just looks like an innocent person who can stand up for themselves but in private their an extreme sadist that liked torturing people just to get a rise out of them?
By the way love you work❤
Liu: considering the whole cannibal thing, Liu is one of the best people to come out to. She can even eat bones. She's a little on the fence at first due to her denial of her urges, but eventually warms up to an easy meal. Do not eat their chili
Elliott: the second best to come out to. The deed is fun to do himself, but if he had a killer darling that's a match made in heaven. Probably how you too met tbh. He'll make films from your kills and even offers to design a costume for you. Good at clean up as well
Daina: third best- probably higher than the other two. Given she's final girl- and has a few screws loose- she escapes your Ramages and comes back with open arms. Lures folks to you and uses the nursing skills she learned as camp counselor to patch you up.
Host: Basically- "Hey check out my pet- think it bites" Finds your violent bursts adorable. Humans are pawns beside you so he doesn't mind letting you stab a contestant or two- preferably after the show but he's not judgin'
Alasdair: "please put the knife down" Aside from one other party, he's the only one who will actively try to stop you. The last thing he wants is for you to be separated for the rest of entirety because you couldn’t stop acting folks
Pin: Completely neutral. While they aren't an outright killer, they do have their moments so they can complain. Probably uses the corpses as reference/material for their bodies
Baron: He's (usually) a good boy for a demon, but after trying to get you to light up he eventually gives up and just follows by your side like the puppy he his.
Selene: She acts oblivious. You're not like that all the time. Her loving spouse every other day of the week. She turns a blind eye and kisses you with welcome - ignoring the twisted faces behind you and screams that died so long ago
C.C: Slay Queen/King. Humans have never been much to C.C excluding you so he doesn't care. Probably would be right beside you, but doing lesser crimes like robbery because he doesn't want to get blood on his new shoes. Finds it hot seeing you covered in blood - but doesn't announce it
Travis: I've answered this for him before, but basically it tears him apart inside, but he turns a blind eye unless you try to leave him
Casper: Feels a bit bad but if you convince them the victim was a bad person they'll let it slide. They know the truth but act dumb to stay on your good side
Static: doesn't really like to kill and doesn't like the idea of you doing it either. They're extremely aggressive, but don't normally harm people unless they do after you. Grumbles about it and steals your kills just so the blood isn't on your hands
Jeremiah: All sinners deserve a second chance- even ones that still commit crimes. Keeps a leash on you and tries to lessen your body count by picking souls who truly can't be saved
Cherry: As his master, Cherry can't complain. He's a little down about the clean up, but wants nothing more than to please
Maddox: Pretty sad about it. Sure they're a grim reaper, but life should be celebrated while it lasts. If your count is far too high, they'll drag you away to their realm so you couldn’t do anymore harm
Verona: knows its bad, but finds intrigue in studying the corpses. She tells you off, but is pretty quiet when the deed is already done

do u have any fic recs for stories that include morally ambiguous or questionable characters? kinda like collateral? open to either x reader or mxm. i have a mighty need & love your content & trust your judgment on fic 💜 thank u for sharing all ur hard work with us! x
ohhhhh do i???
i just want to preface with: these fics are often very dark, and in some ways very fucked up. there are actions in the fics that i do not condone. i will add some general warnings but please read every warning before proceeding if you are sensitive to anything. (i personally dive headfirst without reading any warnings bc i thrive on chaos and nothing bothers me. idk what kind of person that makes me.)
also, i will eventually add links to all of these on @nabiolivereads so if folks are into the heavier, darker stuff, know that soon there will be reviews for that kind of content over there, as well.
*places an arm gently around anon's shoulder and leads then through a beaded of curtain into the secret back room of my fic recs, where only esteemed customers are allowed to go*
first of all: i am pretty sure none of these fics are on tumblr. i assume you're down to clown on ao3, and all of them are open to the general public, anyway.
i haven't read a ton of mafia/fics like Collateral, but here are things with very morally ambiguous characters. and many of them are darker, in some ways, than Collateral is.
Fatal Compulsion by Vmintie ↳ Jimin, the only survivor of the Yongsan Ripper's prolific killing spree, is put immediately under police protection. Months later, the killer comes back for him. ❣ series, 251,009 wc ❣ Jimin x Taehyung with side pairings and other members ❣ serial killer, smut, angst, fear, toxic relationship, manipulation, graphic violence, torture & murder, cliffhanger ending. this is my favorite fic of all time. i know it has a hefty wordcount but you get so swept up into the story. i revisit certain chapters all the time.
Jewel of Busan and Butcher of Seoul by Vmintie ↳ Jimin finds himself embroiled in a heist that is set to bring about the fall of an empire. Taehyung is in on the action for reasons of his own. Jungkook wants Jimin the way a spoilt child wants a toy. And over it all sits Mother, the mysterious matriarch of Seoul's largest mob syndicate. Chaos is a ladder and its rungs are slick with blood. ❣ 2 stories in one series, 183,142 wc and 243812 ec, respectively ❣ Jimin x Taehyung with side pairings and other members ❣ mafia au, smut, angst, toxic relationship, manipulation, a smattering of accidental incest, major character deaths, unhappy ending. i cannot say enough about this series. it is so fucked up and so fun to read. i fucking cried like a baby, but god, it was so worth it.
lostland. by Daebon ↳ The moment Jimin saw Min Yoongi all those years ago, he knew he was in trouble. Seeing him now as a professor, with his thick-rimmed glasses and pressed suits, Jimin can feel himself slipping again. It’s a good thing he’s being distracted by his new friend Hoseok, the campus’ most infamous and straightest fuckboy, or he could really get himself into quite a mess. Oh, wait. He never saw it coming. ❣ series, 174,254 wc ❣ Jimin x Hoseok & Jimin x Yoongi ❣ college au, murder mystery, smut, angst, a smattering of accidental incest (idk why i find this in stories lmao i do not go searching for it), age gap, underage (a 23 yo has feelings for a 16 yo & those feelings aren't acted upon until 16 yo becomes of age, but still.) this story is a fucking roller coaster and it is definitely not for everyone.
Perfect by Hiromi_20 ↳ "I've wanted you for so long," Jin whispers, mouth only a hair away from your own. You can't move, can't look away, helpless against this spell he's weaving around you. You can almost believe this is a sweet, romantic little moment. If only it was that simple. "And you're finally mine." ❣ oneshot, 7,251 wc ❣ Seokjin x Female Reader ❣ yandere, non-con, smut, restraints, forced orgasms. i don't even know what to say tbh. it's.........just very sexy. and very wrong. but very sexy.
The One by nicedress ↳ Every stamen lured into Yoongi’s bed leaves him with a new blossom on his skin and a new grave on his property. When he encounters Namjoon, a stamen who refuses to touch any pistil unless it’s his soulmate, all Yoongi sees is someone naive and easy to control. Someone to help around the farm without complaint. Someone to dig holes without realizing they’re graves. Someone Yoongi’s not quite willing to kill—not yet. ❣ oneshot, 27,176 wc ❣ Yoongi x Namjoon ❣ pistilverse au, serial killer, some violence. this story is absolutely perfect.
Honorable mention:
Between Two Sinners by LoquaciousLo ↳ In which you find yourself praying against your growing desires for the pastor's son - and his best friend - only to find it in the most faithless of places. When devils are sweet and their faces come in sets of two, what are you supposed to do? Will you resist? Or succumb to temptation? ❣ series, 114,672 wc ❣ Yoongi x Female Reader x Jimin ❣ son of a preacher, non-con, smut, a little angst. this story is incomplete, and i have only read the first few chapters anyway. but it's quite fun, if you're into this sort of thing.
also, i assume you have read more of mine than Collateral, but i have a handful of fics with very shady characters if you want more recs from my own pile, such a Boy Blue, Deadly Desire, Dollhouse, Abyss, With You Always, Consecration, Stuck, A Lamb in Wolf’s Clothing. 😈 have fuuuun!!!
if anyone has any recs along these lines, i am always open to read more! plz lmk!
#lovely anon#dark fic recs#seriously all of these are pretty fucked up#don't go into this list lightly#you've got mail 💌

hello it’s me with another protocreed au that no one asked for but will get anyway. it’s a full fic i plan?? to write eventually lol i just have some other projects to wrap up first. in any case, i wrote out a rough outline of the fic to get a better idea of what i want to write, and thought fuck it, why not share with yall?
Desmond, an assassin agent of the Templars of Abstergo, is tasked with investigating a strange series of murders being committed against scientists from sister company, Gentek. The scientists are being killed in improbably strange and gruesome ways. Abstergo figures Desmond can use his Animus acquired Assassin skills to suss out the killer while Abstergo does their own investigation into Gentek.
As Desmond begins his investigation, he happens to meet an interested onlooker, an intense man named Alex, who is also curious about these strange killings. Alex claims he’s looking into it for “investigative journalism” reasons. Desmond suspects nothing at first, too wrapped up in his own head and in his task to think anything is really off about Alex. Together they meet up more and more until they basically become their own Sherlock Holmes and John Watson.
Desmond becomes increasingly perplexed by the murders as they become more elaborate. He notes that the way these men are killed (perfectly sliced up, key organs removed, blood drained, etc) are impossible to achieve by human hands alone. Even the places and timing of the murders are improbable for someone to commit without being caught.
Eventually, Desmond decides to peek into the Abstergo-Gentek investigation, finding himself either blocked or being given breadcrumbs of information. Of course he realizes quickly enough that the higher ups are doing this on purpose, and chalks it up to them testing him and his abilities. To Desmond, this is nothing new to him.
The longer the investigation goes on, he finds himself growing closer and closer to Alex. He starts to open up to Alex about his purpose, his life, and the Animus project that he was forcibly subjected to. Alex grows surprisingly sympathetic towards him. He starts to give Desmond vague information about his own life as well, a childhood mired in tragedy and poverty. Desmond can tell there’s still more that Alex is not yet telling him, but accepts that in favor of keeping Alex’s companionship.
At a certain point, Desmond begins to realize the connection between the murders, and starts to catch glimpses of what he suspects is the killer; a shadowy figure with amazing parkour skills. He fails to capture them, as they evade him at every turn. It eventually occurs to Desmond that the killer is also testing him, aware that he’s investigating them, and is now becoming more flashy with the kills, as well as showing themselves, because they’re interested in him.
With this now in mind, Desmond digs deeper into the Abstergo side of things, and starts unraveling the conspiracy that was hidden from him. He starts to find information about Project: Blacklight, an offshoot of an earlier Project: Redlight. Essentially, Gentek scientists acquired Redlight, a modified supervirus that was then further experimented on to become Blacklight.
What Desmond finds notable about the project is that Blacklight can consume cells, replicate them, and then is connected to all of them. They can then form together to turn their host into a living weapon. And the lead scientist for Project: Blacklight was Dr. A. Mercer, who became the host for his creation. After the virus took over his body, he was subjected to torturous experiments to test the limits of the virus. After several months of these experiments, he broke containment and fled into the city. Abstergo suspects that it’s him who is killing his fellow scientists as revenge for the experiments.
Now armed with this information, Desmond plots to finally capture Mercer once and for all. In his excitement, he stupidly blabs to Alex his plan. He wants to use the last, remaining scientist as live bait to lure Mercer in and capture him. Alex is dubious about his plan, but Desmond is adamant about it.
By this point, Desmond and Alex have grown close. Desmond starts to express his hatred of Abstergo, how they choose to continuously make his life harder, after everything they’ve done to him. He tells Alex of all the things they’ve done to him outside of the Animus, how they’ve been using him as their tool without regard to his physical or mental state. He tells Alex how he had started a relationship with one of his handlers, Lucy, by accident, but came to truly love her. Abstergo knew about the relationship, but seemingly ignored it for months until one day, Lucy suddenly vanished and was never seen again.
He expresses to Alex how he’s since come to see himself as worthless after that, that no one wants him as a person, just as a weapon. In a moment of clarity, he openly sympathizes with Mercer, understanding why the other man would choose to freely kill those who wronged him with the supervirus powers. Alex’s whole demeanor suddenly changes, and he enthusiastically agrees to help Desmond with his plan. He promises Desmond that this time will be different, he will meet Mercer face to face. Desmond is surprised, but happy all the same.
A short time later, Alex calls upon Desmond, saying he’s found the last scientist, and gives him coordinates to meet up with him. Ready to finally put an end to all this, Desmond rushes out to the location, an old warehouse out by the docks. Once there, he finds the last scientist, bound and gagged. Alex is there, waiting patiently for Desmond. Desmond wants to start a stake out, knowing Mercer (who he is sure is following him) will come along soon.
Alex says not to bother, because Mercer is already here. Before Desmond’s very eyes, he reveals himself to be Mercer himself, and shows off his range of virus weaponry before carefully and surgically killing the scientist in front of Desmond. Desmond is actually surprised by this twist, despite knowing deep down, he knew there was something off about Alex. He realizes that everything weird about Alex he ignored in favor of companionship, and that all the puzzle pieces were right in front of his face the whole time.
Alex praises him for all his help, but also apologizes for getting so directly involved. Alex explains that he became infatuated with Desmond because of their relative similarities at the hands of Abstergo and Gentek. He says he wanted to ignore Desmond at first, but was intrigued by Desmond’s skills as an assassin. The rest fell into place on their own as he and Desmond grew closer. He had been wanting to come clean to Desmond for some time, and figured right there at the end was finally the best time as any to confess.
Desmond is both sickened and devastated. From the shock, he starts to slip into a Bleed, and ends up passing out. When he awakens, he finds himself in Alex’s apartment, of which he hasn’t been to at this point. Upon awakening, Alex immediately comforts him, but also gives him room to come to terms with everything that’s happened. Desmond wants to feel betrayed, but can’t, because surprise twists meant to fuck with him are just a normal part of his life. He expresses that he wishes that Alex had told him sooner, because then maybe things could have gone differently. Alex agrees.
Desmond asks Alex to explain what he meant by “infatuation” from earlier. Alex explains that he realizes he has feelings for Desmond, but not conventional ones. He was interested in Desmond at first as a detective. Then as an ally to get information from. Then a friend, of whom he saw himself in. Desmond’s breakdown from the other night made him realize just how similar they were, and he came to see Desmond as his true equal. All other secondary feelings he is conflicted on.
Desmond is still hurt, but strangely understands exactly what Alex is saying. Desmond says that he too found himself with conflicted feelings towards Alex, but had initially chalked it up to his own loneliness. Things are further complicated when Alex confesses that he isn’t actually Mercer; that when Mercer infected himself with the Blacklight virus, the virus took over and killed him, but absorbed many of his memories and assumed his likeness. Since he’s been “alive”, all he has known was the brutal experiments he was subjected to. It’s another reason why his attraction to Desmond grew; because Desmond is quite literally the only person he can actually relate to.
[This is probably the best moment to have these two freaks start making out and having some whacky ass monster sex because the real freak is me. This is my circus and I’m the head clown, honk honk.]
After consummating their strange attraction towards one another, Alex proposes that together, they dismantle and take down Abstergo. Desmond (unwittingly) helped him with his personal revenge quest, and would like to do the same for Desmond. He points out that Abstergo has taken far more from Desmond than possibly imaginable, and that neither will find peace until these Templar fucks are six feet under. Desmond is unsure at first, knowing just how far the Templar influence reaches. He feels he’s not worthy of such a task, having fallen so far from grace as a Brotherhood Assassin. But he realizes, at the same time, that makes him the most qualified.
After a very emotional talk, Alex asks one more time if Desmond will help him. Desmond finally agrees.
