Norse Deity Jars Info
I put together some info on different Norse deities. you would take whatever herbs/crystals and put them in a jar of your choice, holding the intention that it is for them.

random little ways that I've started worshipping more bc why not:
braided yarn around my wrist for Eir, pronoun bracelets for Dionysus, and chewelry necklace for Loki, and (eventually) a gold anklet for Aphrodite (currently the earrings I wear every day until I get it)
having a glass of wine and giving some to all of my deities in their respective cups
changing the color of my lamp light depending on who's hanging out (between purple red pink and green for me for now)
setting aside little trinkets I think any of them would like + putting them on their respective altars
putting on music they seem to like (at least one of them likes every single one of the songs on my playlist)
just hanging out with them when I can + they want to
letting the spirits hang around sometimes (Eir + Loki both seem to like my little buddy that has been with me for 9-10 years atp)
being cunty just bc I can (Dionysus, Loki, and Aphrodite seem to like that)
really dramatically and film-worthily acting out my daydreams (Dionysus gets SO hyped)
scrolling through the body positivity tag whenever I start to get self-conscious (they all seem proud when I do that, but Loki makes it known more (I think Aphrodite will be down too but I haven't gotten like that yet with her as part of the group))
just dressing up pretty!! it feels like I'm channeling Aphrodite :))
I'll probably put more on this list as things progress

I know I’ve mentioned this before so I might be repeating myself here, but it is such a privileged to worship Eir. She has blessed me and my loved ones more than I can say, with the gift of good health. I’m sorry to say I’ve never really dedicated anything major to her, only ever making the simple offering every once in a while. But I’ve prayed to her sincerely, almost embarrassed that I’d not devoted more time to her and yet, she answers every single time. Almost systematically, she helps and blesses with kindness beyond words.
She is proof that sincerity and love go a long way when it comes to deity work. Offerings don’t work like currency, they don’t need to be grand in order to be sincere. And I think prayer works like asking for help: not demanding, but asking, makes a world of difference.

Eir, great goddess of health and healing,
We come to you with hearts and souls revealing
The pain and suffering that we bear;
The wounds and illnesses that we must repair.
Your wisdom and knowledge, so vast and true,
Are a guiding light to help us through.
Your gentle touch and soothing words
Bring comfort to those who are hurt.
With herbs and remedies, you tend to our pain,
And help us find balance and health again.
Your power to heal is a gift so rare,
And your presence brings hope and care.
Eir, we honor you and your healing ways,
And seek your guidance in all our days.
We offer our thanks and gratitude to you
For all the work that you do.
May your blessings of health and wellness
Guide us through life's challenges and tests.
Eir, great goddess of healing and health,
We thank you for your strength and wealth.

Brigit, Druid Goddess Brigit is a ‘pan Celtic’ goddess, who was worshipped by both the Goidelic and Brythonic Celts in the British Isles and beyond. She is a solar deity, who once hung her mantle on a sunbeam. In Celtic mythology, Brigit is the daughter of the Morrighan and the Dagda, the Good God and Chief of the Tuatha de Danaan, the ancient fairy race of Ireland, and the sister of Ogma, who invented the Ogham alphabet. She was the wife of Bres, King of the Fomorians (who were at war with the Tuatha de Danaan). Brigit was said to have been the mediator of peace between the two ancient warring tribes. She was the mother of the Three Gods of Danu – Ruadan, Iuchar and Uar. These three Gods were said to have married the three princesses of Ireland – Eire, Fodhla and Banbha. In other sources, Brigid is the daughter of Boann, the Goddess of the River Boyne in Ireland. Boann (bo fhionn) means ‘white cow’, an association she shares with Brigid. Brigit is primarily the patron Goddess of poets, healers and smiths. She is also a patron of other womanly arts – midwifery, dyeing, weaving and brewing, and the guardian of children and farm animals – particularly cows. The island of Ireland itself is said to be the green mantle of Brigit. She is also said to be the patron of travellers, sailors, and fugitives. She is specifically a patroness to the Druids in her aspects of poetry (Bards), healing and prophecy (Ovates) and blacksmithing (Druids).

Dionysus is my dad, Eir and Aphrodite are my cool older sisters, and Loki is the weird kid at school I became best friends with and call my brother. but also when I walk into my room with all my candles going I just say "hi girlies *gay hand*" as a greeting. these things can and should coexist
(idk how persephone relates to the deity found family dynamic we have going on yet but I will update)

Low Energy Witchcraft - Chronic Fatigue Edition
Tumblr media
Making a post such as this is something I find absolutely vital. Many of us deal with fatigue. Many of us deal with chronic fatigue and don't know it. This comes in tiredness, drowsiness, exhaustion, lethargy, brain fog, memory issues, slurring of words and muscle weakness.
I deal with Myalgic Encephalomyelitis aka Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS). My Fibromyalgia accompanies that which is a chronic pain condition.
Sometimes you feel stuck in your own body. Bedridden for hours, days, weeks and sometimes life in extreme cases of ME/CFS. Weather can affect this, environment and pushing yourself past your limits. Rest is important.
Now how does this tie into witchcraft? Simple. We use our energy for spellwork, raising energy, energy work, devotion, basically everything. So much of our practice requires personal energy being manipulated and used, leaving us exhausted after in a lot of cases.
I'm going to share some helpful tips with you today.
Now remember, witchcraft is an aid. Nota cure or a replacement for medical aid. Please still take any and all medication and go to the doctors when needed.
Now let's get into it
Sustaining and drawing energy:
Borrowing energy from elements, crystals, tendrils (I'll go into this), space. It's limitless.
Tendrils. Tendrils are a form of vampiric magic I learned. Where you can borrow energy from another person. I will not go into the ethics of consent. I believe you need to do what's right for you at the moment. However, consent is something vital and needs to be practiced. How do you do it? Visualize or focus on feeling these energy tendrils coming out of your fingers. They can suck up the energy from the space or from another person with contact and focus. If not immediately needed, you can store this excess energy in a crystal or an amulet for later use. Always try to ground after so you don't feel overcharged. Being overcharged can cause shakiness, anxiety and sometimes manic-like states.
Sigils
Sigils are a great form of aid. You can make them for lifting brain fog, fatigue, memory, etc. I will link some when I make a few.
Spells
You can do mini spell workings on higher energy days to aid in many ways. I will link some when I make a few.
Deities Worship
If you work with certain deities they may aid you in health. Honouring and working with Apollon (Greek), Apollo (Roman), Sekhmet (Egyptian), Eir (Norse), Airmed (Irish) and many more are associated with healing. A simple prayer can do.
What can I practice when I have little/no energy?
You can practice mindfulness or elemental box breathing. How I do that is breathe in Earth, Fire, Water, Air. Hold Earth, Fire, Water, Air. Breathe out Earth, Fire, Water, Air. and Hold Earth, Fire, Water, Air. Repeat as needed. You will feel more connected to the elements that way.
Take any medication you have with intention. Drawing the sun symbol on your bottles, the planet sun is great for healing.
Prayer to any deities, guardians or ancestors you are currently working with.
Grounding your energy may help you feel better with brain fog. It tends to help me on heavy days.
Doing something as simple as opening a window on a windy day to connect to the air element. Helps cycle air in a stuffy environment as well.
Opening your curtains and basking in the sun's rays can feel very soothing. Alternatively, if you have a sun lamp for SAD, you can bask in its glow and envision the sun's rays on your skin to connect with solar energy.
I will add to this post as time goes on.

Every time I prayed to Eir, she came through and worked miracles in my life. Whether for myself or for a loved one, she blessed whoever was sick with good health, and a quick recovery. I am so grateful to her in a way that words can’t express. Hail Eir.
