So I'm looking for fabric for a Sumireko plush and I Realized something

Sumireko's dress pattern changes between ULiL/AoCF and Violet Detector. And frankly is much more garishly bright and sorta clashy with her cape in VD (but luckily it gives me more wiggle room in terms of what fabric I get bc i have the excuse of Well her dress doesnt ALWAYS look like that)

Notably, her dress is not only much more pink than in the fighters but also has a much more distinct neon-looking grid pattern in VD. Not to mention the grid being added to her socks and bow.

wait. Grid pattern? A striking pink grid pattern?? Where have I seen that in touhou before?

OH WAIT

ITS THE FUCKING DREAM WORLD.

Her fighter game design also sorta looks like it? Or at least has similar colors, but the VD design is pretty blatant about it. Even the overlapping layers of it make it look more like plaid!! Likely another case of zun changing the player character design to match the game's setting.

I take it back the VD design is super smart and probably the second best part of violet detector behind sumireko's dialogue being precision designed to instantly kill any touhou fan not strong enough to handle an obnoxious teenager being obnoxious.

And also probably 2 of the only redeeming qualities of violet detector.

She was going to be difficult about it, he knows. But she had no say in the matter. Hello darkness side effects my old friend, I've come to speak with you again

Actually, the doctor's visit went REALLY well, she was 100% willing to go with my Long Covid diagnosis and treat it as that. She apparently has colleagues that research/treat LC that she wants to consult with them on the best way forward which I appreciate, my local city having a long covid clinic is really working for me right now, especially since I'm going to the same hospital infrastructure. I don't know that I need a referral to that as of yet, but treating symptoms is what I'm after anyways and she's on board.

As always- don't fucking get covid, get the novavax vaccine, mask if you can/have to, especially if you're stressed or have a history of trauma, you are far more likely to get long covid if you do, each infection is a russian roulette to get a permanent disability that could leave you bedbound if you aren't gd careful.

I did however get meds for anxiety and mdd, which while good, is also going to be a little rough, the side effects for ssri/snri always hit me a little hard. The anti-anxiety med is already making me really woozy and laggy, but that's supposed to be stable in a few days rather than 4-6 weeks.

The next few weeks are about to be rough, but they're also a light at the end of the tunnel I think. Now we just need to find a car. We've been hella lucky that my mil is happy to come work at our place a few days a week so I can go get groceries and we can go attempt to look at cars, never mind the fact that the last few we've tried to go to were sold right before we arrived, still... Today is car hunting day, so long as I don't pass out, I'll have sushi as a reward at least!

i remember on my first week of uni where i accidentally became a homewrecker cuz needed to go to the library but it was far and then this guy i've been talking to offers me a ride to the library and then when we got there his girlfriend saw and i could tell she wasn't pleased but like i'd never met the guy before i never talked to him until that day and so when i got out of the car she went in and i think they had a fight and that was the last i saw of him and then a week later i see him again and ask how he is and he looks like shit bcs apparently they broke up that day lmao and i didn't mean to but i have a tendency to laugh in serious situations so i laughed at his face but then apologized and left and i've never seen him since

my voice started changing SO fast on T like the first changes i noticed were around three weeks and now it's been like six-ish weeks on 0.3 (a pretty low dose) and my voice is noticably deeper and cracking when i try to pitch it too high. really wasn't expecting this to happen for like a year im really pleased :)

got my new car. it's sick asf. literally just my mums car but with a different GUI on the radio. some of the buttons are different too but it's all the same really.

it also has GPS which is interesting, but i can't understand most of the japanese so that's sorta useless lol
