Im the biggest hypocrit bcs i believe that people should be allowed to have toxic ships peace and love, but the moment i see lapidot i feel my evil side emerge
#every ship i have has an aura of toxicity#i need the drama!#but like#idk what gets over me i just cant stand that ship#unironically no hate im just being stupid and you shouldnt take my opinions as facts#you are allowed to ship things i dont like#edit i think i realized why i have a problem with it#first of all im very protective of peri she my baby#for a show thats about growth and change lapis never even apologized#she just came back like nothing happened after peri admitted that she avoids talking about her feelings bcs shes scared lapis will get upse#she basically threw peridot out of her own home for speaking up about how she feels#remember the barn was peridots house first#like lapis are abusive and the show never adresses it propperly#she only ever became less abusive after jasper#and then in future shes just fine and dandy#this was an important apology to adress bcs now it ended up just normalising abuse in a relationship#it doesnt matter if the abuse was intended or not from her side it still happened#rememeber su is supposed to teach kids about relationships#i get that the show was cut short and they might have adressed it better if they had more time#but they could have squeezed in a 'im sowwy' at elast
