just saw a clip of a Palestinian child who fearlessly say that he is not scared. a reporter asks him but 'they' have broken him ( his finger, arm and back). and he simply answers.

"Allah is with us. What do they have? The US? Our lord is with us, what do I have to fear?'

these people fear absolutely nothing except their Lord. they know death is not the end. their faith is moving me to tears. you cannot fight people who dont fear death.

ya Allah, grant the Palestinians Sabr (Patience) and the strength to build again from the rubble.

ya Allah, grant the Palestinians ease.

ya Allah, give justice for those undergoing oppression and injustice all over the world.

We often forget the importance of the simple yet powerful supplication - Istighfar i.e., saying "Astaghfirullah" (I seek forgiveness of Allah).

Prophet Muhammad (SallAllahu Alayhi Wa Sallam) recited this at least 70 times a day.

These are some of the benefits and virtues of reciting this simple beautiful supplication insha Allah.

• Istighfar removes anxiety.

• Istighfar opens the door of sustenance.

• Istighfar opens the door of mercy.

• Istighfar opens the door of knowledge.

• Istighfar is also gateway of productivity.

• Istighfar relieves you.

• Astaghfirullah also helps us to refrain from all forms of sins.

The doors of repentance are always open therefore don't delay your repentance in the hope of tomorrow, as tomorrow is uncertain, Repent now and make it a habit to ask Allah's forgiveness by reciting "Astaghfirullah". Say I believe in Allah's mercy, I have sinned, I have gone astray, I have been negligent, but still I believe in Allah's soothing mercy and forgiveness, I'll not despair!

■ Life fascinates us with its unknown twists and turns. Which may cause us to lose focus and aching with disillusionment and suffering. Let's liberate our hearts from worries, refine our Prayer(Salah) and elevate our faith(Eeman).

The author illustrates the importance and benefits of Salah with ample references from the Quran and Sunnah. He encourages us to reflect and compare our Salah with that of the Prophet (SAW) and his Companions (RA). Not only discusses the practices on an individual level, but he also highlights the functions of the society and family institutions in boosting our eeman as a Muslim and collectively as the Ummah.

■ In only about 112 pages, he conveyed the knowledge(Deen) without undermining common confusions/misunderstandings on cultural appropriations. It’s amazing how clear his words are. His writings are stern yet uplifting. He empathises, clarifies and reminds things with care and sincerity. I also appreciate the provided footnotes and glossary that validate the sources.

■ How should we turn, and widen our perspectives and attitudes towards the ideas/obligations? We must do self-reflections and embrace entirely these three gems; intentions, humility and attentiveness. Then only we taste the sweetness in following the Sunnah, i. e. the correct ways to worship.

● Frequently, we find ourselves engulfed in the aftermath of our mistakes, be they wrong choices or unwise words spoken. To move forward and renew our eeman is to let go of our past. Acknowledge our shortcomings/wrongdoings, learn from them and move on. ● We need to cleanse our hearts. Begin with a genuine and earnest repentance, beseeching Allah (SWT) for forgiveness and His mercy. Make a firm commitment for a fresh start. ● The Quran strengthens our souls, infusing them with elevated faith. Dedicate extra effort to recite, explore the tafseer or learn the Arabic language to fully appreciate the Quran's eloquence, beauty, and miraculous nature. ● The Elixir of Life: Salah. Instead of going on auto-pilot mode, fully engage with Him during the five prescribed moments each day. Express genuine gratitude and directly present your concerns to Him.

■ To conclude, in a world where Salah often becomes a mere habit, the author reiterates the spiritual depths and discusses the condition of the heart one should cultivate when approaching this act of worship, offering insights on how to foster this mindset and exploring the impacts Salah should have on one's life.

Eeman, like a delicate flower, can bloom or wither in response to life's various challenges. Repent, ascend, and usher shifts into your life to earn the pleasure of your Creator. Be the Ummah that is capable of instigating positive societal transformations, rather than one that perpetually whines about every tiny problem.

Sins committed in private are often the cause of losing steadfastness upon Eeman, while worship performed in private is the key to maintaining steadfastness upon Eeman.

Sins darken your heart, they taint your soul day after day, until the easiest of worship such as thikr, praying two rakaas, fasting on a winter day… become extremely difficult on you, this dunyah is hard, and us as muslims are afflicted with many tests and many evils from the shayateen of mankind and jinn, so let us not assist these devils against us by forsaking that which grants us life, peace of mind and protection: Ibadah. Let us not become an easy prey for depression and anxiety, the shayateen of manking and jinn are always waiting for us to weaken so that they can attack and destroy this castle of eeman that we took so long to build.

stick with us in this path, do it for yourself, don’t forsake yourself, don’t help shayateen against you. If everyone abandons you, hold yourself up, Allah has not abandoned you so seek His assistance. Never make your source of happiness and motivation anyone other than Allah, get used to be consistent even when the entire world is against you, even when no one is by your side. And remember one step in Jannah will make you forget this all❤️

Istikharah: A Facility from Allah

I had set an alarm for myself to start planning ahead on the life after internship upon entering stase puskesmas.

But I had been slacking off and making my chronic disease as my excuse. So alhamdulillah Allah guided me to start the self-rediscovery journey.

I am not as intelligent nor do I have all the privileges, but I know my identity as a Muslim is my biggest Why.

This one month of caveman period was full of discussions, readings, writings. But it was also full of tears.

It was full of questions and prayers to Allah swt. Uncertainty can be scary, right?

Uncertainty can be unimaginably dark. It eats you up eventually, if you have no Guidance.

I have so many aspirations and ambitions. But I asked Allah, with all the potentials He has given me, the knowledge He bestowed upon me, the people He surrounded me with and the life story He had decreed:

To what specific purpose I shall contribute?

We are fortunate as muslims to have the end goal: His acceptance, and mercy, to be able to finally see Him in His paradise.

So I asked and asked. The beauty of Islam, is how comprehensive this deen is. You see, there is even a specific prayer to ask for guidance in making choices!

To be protected from making “false” choices:

Choices that are khaiir leads to preservation of eeman, of deen, of family, of the good in this world and the hereafter.

“Wrong” choices, on the other hand, leads to turmoil.

I asked myself as simple as, what if I were to be involved in a research unknowingly utilized for the corruption of people, of environment and of this deen. How shall I ever repent?

Hence duaa of istikharah in this world full of hidden agendas, is a gift from Allah. A facility that Allah prepared for His servants to return in times of doubts and anxiety.

O Allah. How I longed for our meeting. I have sinned endless times to which You decreed a repentance that follows. How grateful am I to be your servant.

O Allah.. in this period of waiting that is full of uncertainty please grant upon me the tranquility of heart, the strength to practice husnudzan billah, to continuously have faith in your Plans. Guide me. Don’t let me be astray.
