Sorry for anticipating, but I'm assuming you gonna get a lot of questions about this. If TC has signed with Chanel to "replace" Gaspard, it's not a coincidence. There is absolutely not bad blood between Lily and him, on the contrary. He wouldn't have signed with them otherwise. Vanessa wouldn't have allowed it. And Alysson is really close to Gaspard's baby mama.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA and I was already anticipating questions like this cause just saw the ad.
Maybe now Lily will get out of Chanel “shackles” 🤣🤣 .
By the way, this is so much more PROBABLY about him being the best well known “French” actor they could find, cause I mean he is TIMOTHÉE CHALAMET!!!
Sorry anon , but it’s about working with Scorcese and getting a lot of money!!!! These people don’t have to allow him doing anything ;)

"The Gemini IV spacecraft appears to be in good shape after being lifted aboard the aircraft carrier USS WASP after traveling over 1, 600,000 miles around the Earth in 62 revolutions in 97 hours and 56 minutes.
The red carpet treatment is given astronauts Edward H. White II and James A. McDivitt as they arrive on the flight deck of USS Wasp after their record breaking 62-revolution, 97-hour and 56-minute flight which ended in the Atlantic Ocean about 400 miles east of Cape Kennedy at 12:12 p.m. (EST). Here they are shown being welcomed by members of the crew and NASA people. White and McDivitt (center) walk on the red carpet flanked by Capt. J.W. Conger (left), commander of the ship; and Rear Adm. like someone saying they "heard" about his behaviour at telluride film festival like please be fr. people get so weird about him. //
what's this about? i can't watch the video.
ADM press - interviewer said something about hating people that are too talented and asked seb and adam which is their secret talent and Sebastian took it literally and said that’s the point of the movie and how edward feels and then asked how one can have a secret talent if no one makes them notice and interviewer replied with “self confidence makes your notice” and he was like that’s the point of the movie
And i think i am missing something because people in the comments are saying to her good question, not a great answer by him and she liked them

this guy is so far up Sebastian and Annabelle’s asses. And he’s bragging about an interview which turned out to be Sebastian saying the same shit he’s been for months now. Literally no new info was in it / he keeps releasing bits that were cut from his interview and it’s like ??? Like that one about how Seb sees people say that they’ll watch TA after the election and him going like it’s going to be a different world by that point so they need to watch it asap, but like I thought they were saying that the movie wasn’t supposed to influence the election and wasn’t even about Trump the president, but Trump the businessman… then why is he now acting like this movie is so important for the future of the country? He literally contradicts everything they were saying from the beginning. People from the start were saying how the movie is an election interference and them rushing the release date and festival premieres was intentional and yet they denied it many times, but now Sebastian basically confirms it… so which one is that? Let people watch stuff whenever they want. Your damn movie does nothing for the country. People knew what trump is like, the movie didn’t expose anything new. I wish they’d stop acting like such saviours. If only Sebastian put half of this energy into ADM, which is the one that actually seems to win stuff and seems like important issue. Seb’s desperation for awards continues. He even whined about lack of attention to Edward Norton 🤦♀️

I completely agree about ADM. In my opinion, the first act was perfect. I lost interest just after Guy started auditioning for the role of Edward. The story shouldn't have included Renate or Adam's characters to that extent because it just went all over the place after that. Especially Adam's character... That was so unnecessary to me. But remember Golden Globes are bought so A24 can buy this one for him, he doesn't deserve it on talent and quality of storytelling alone.
The film was boring tbh and it missed the opportunity to explore more of the themes

'Inventive writer/director Christopher Nolan faced an awesome challenge: shaping Kai Bird and Martin J. Sherman’s comprehensive, Pulitzer Prize-winning biography — “American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer” (2005) — into a cohesive, three-hour film.
Admittedly complicated and confusing, its solemn concept melds science with drama, fusion with fission, and a multitude of characters with 20th century history, chronicled by cinematographer Hoyte van Hoytema in IMAX 70-millimeter.
While the non-linear plot involves creating a top-secret coalition of scientists to build an atomic bomb, it also explores dense themes of coercion, Communism, and collective vision.
At its center is soft-spoken theorist J. Robert Oppenheimer (Cillian Murphy), director of the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton, N.J., where he often conversed with eminent Albert Einstein (Tom Conti) about quantum physics.
During World War II, Oppenheimer was recruited by U.S. Army Maj. Gen. Leslie Groves (Matt Damon) to spearhead the Manhattan Project which sequestered the best physicists in the United States in a sort of intellectual boot camp in Los Alamos, N.M., to develop the weapon that would force Japan to surrender.
His Nobel Prize-winning colleagues included Isidore Rabi (David Krumholtz), Ernest Lawrence (Josh Hartnett) and Edward Teller (Benny Safdie). Only weeks after its first test in July, 1945, ‘Trinity’ was dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
Digressing into Oppenheimer’s personal life, Nolan delves into his dysfunctional sexual relationship with psychiatrist Jean Tatlock (Florence Pugh), a member of the American Communist Party, and his subsequent marriage to troubled Kathleen ‘Kitty’ (Emily Blunt), resilient mother of his children.
Later on, Oppenheimer philosophically opposed the development of the hydrogen bomb and advised U.S. politicians to cooperate in an international agreement to put restrictions on the use of nuclear weapons.
His ambivalence and audacity eventually placed him in direct conflict with duplicitous Adm. Lewis Strauss (Robert Downey, Jr.), chairman of the Atomic Energy Commission, who stripped him of his security clearance during the politically paranoid McCarthy era.
The supporting cast also includes Jason Clarke, Casey Affleck, Rami Malek, Matthew Modine, Kenneth Branagh and Gary Oldman. Expect Oscar nominations not only for Christopher Nolan but also for Cillian Murphy and Robert Downey Jr., who deliver the most indelible performances of their respective careers.
On the Granger Gauge of 1 to 10, “Oppenheimer” is an intense, exacting, explosive 8, playing in theaters.'

Feeling Groggy
On the menu of most Tiki bars is a drink with 'Grog' in the name. This is due to this gentleman:
His name is Vice-Admiral Edward Vernon, and in the pantheon of Tiki gods,he's right up there with the legendary Don the Beachcomber and Trader Vic. Why do you ask? Because on the 21st of August,1740,the good Admiral issued Order to Captains No. 349 for sailors of the British Navy to be issued a daily ration of rum, watered down, and livened up with lime or lemon and sugar cane for "good husbandmen"(the lime later became standard issue to prevent scurvy, and is why the British are called 'limeys'). This became known as "grog",and was basically the very first Tiki cocktail.
Back in the day, life aboard ship was,how should I put this, crappy. One of the many issues faced on long voyages was a lack of potable water. Water was stored in wooden casks and would go bad in short order. Beer was carried aboard ship because it would last longer. But when British ships began operating in the Caribbean, they switched to rum because it was easy to find and cheap to purchase, and it would last longer. Originally it was issued straight, but as this caused 'disciplinary problems',it was later watered down. The name grog came from Adm Vernon's nickname "Old Grog",which came from his habit of wearing a grogham cloth coat or cloak in bad weather. The grog was issued twice a day, just before noon and again at the end of the workday. The rum used was generally around 114 proof, and this was confirmed by the Purser(or Pusser) who would mix an amount of rum with gunpowder and light it;if it burned, then it was of the proper strength to be issued. It is from this test that we get 'navy strength' rum. Fortunately,in modern times we have ice to mix with our drinks,so we can actually enjoy our grogs. So give these cocktails a try,and be sure to use the toast,"splice the mainbrace!".
Mix #10 Traditional Grog
1.5oz navy strength rum* 1oz lime juice 1/2oz simple syrup**
*I recommend Pusser's Gunpowder or Hamilton's Navy Grog Blend. **Rock candy or Demerara syrup work best.
This is basically a historically correct grog recipe, save that it is shaken with ice. It skews a bit sour depending on the syrup used, and actually utilizes navy rum.
Mix #11 Navy Grog
1oz light rum 1oz dark rum 1oz Demerara rum 1oz honey syrup 3/4 oz lime juice 3/4oz grapefruit juice 2oz club soda
Shake everything except soda with ice. Pour into double rocks glass and top with soda.
This is the traditional Tiki drink. The 'legit' method uses a cone made of ice with the straw going through it,but really regular ice works just fine(and doesn't require any extra effort). Note that with three ounces of rum, plus the honey, you will probably feel pretty groggy the next day after a couple of these.
Mix #12 Sailor's Grog
1.5oz spiced rum 1/2oz 151 Demerara rum 3/4oz lime juice 3/4oz orange juice 1/2oz falernum 1 dash Angostura bitters 1.5oz ginger beer
Shake everything except beer with ice and pour into double rocks glass. Top with beer.
BG Reynold's riff on grog is a spicy cocktail for folks who like a little zip to their drink. It terms of power,it splits the difference between the other two grog recipes.
FYI,the rum ration was ended by the Royal Navy on 31 July,1970(called Black Tot Day) due to concerns that consuming high proof spirits was not compatible with the complicated machinery and electronic systems on modern vessels. So now the poor squids have to drink beer. Yet one more reason why I was Air Force instead of Navy.
