Carries around a bat. Almost became a Joker Goon out of nessesity but by sheer happenstance he tried robbing Alan who somehow got him an interview at the Cafe, even with zero experience. Obsidian Fowler they/them- Manager/Barista The reason shit gets done, newly recognized artist, meticiously does inventory because they find it fun. Gets stressed about hygine when his coworkers keep sneaking random strays in the cafe, but weak to begging. Did not give in when they brought in a Raccoon. Obvi that particular person straight up copied whole drawings of yours many times, and that’s an extreme case where it’s easy to see that they’re far out of bounds. i separate my fan art from my original art in my head, since fan art so often breaches containment and a lot of people treat it like a community thing, i’ve adjusted my boundaries around it for my own ease.

in short: you can do whatever you want with my good omens fan art. obviously prefer if credit is given where possible, always given if asked, and always displayed clearly if you’re tracing it for whatever reason.

i’m a little more protective of my original art, so i hope this makes sense:

you can trace my original art if you’re giving it to me as fan art of my work. people have done “redraws” before and i love them.

i’m ofc okay with the kind of inspiration that comes up naturally, like, “oh i love how that elf has big floppy bunny ears, i wanna give my elf ears like that!” and same goes for anything that my art might inspire, that you then tweak for yourself

i generally wouldn’t recommend copying my poses 1:1 anyway, since my anatomy can be pretty borked at times, and when it’s stronger i’ve likely used a photo reference. you’re welcome to ask for the references i’ve used for any given piece 💛

slightly less related but you CAN use my original art for icons and banners, but credit is mandatory. i would also prefer if it’s only characters that appear in my stories (rechargeable, paranomads etc), bc i think i’d feel weird if someone used a free floating OC (mister b, my vampire lesbians etc) as a pfp

So I’m just new to this whole Astrology shit and as a Capricorn Sun/Virgo Rising, I can say it’s pretty accurate how they described me as having a straight nose, good forehead, and a person who is neat freak lmaooo 😆 crazy 🤭 so yeah I never really gave a flying fuck about Astrology because I thought it was a bit ‘girly’ or something only girls do, but it all changed when last December 30, 2023, I saw a Tiktok about the Cardinal Signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn) finally ending their 16-year struggle since 2008. I mean, the last 16 years truly made me realize a lot of shit, and I lost A LOT. The last one taken away from me was my dog (Gisele Heart Particles Nougat Shamcey Chamyto Chimmy 2010-2023). So yeah, it was quite a relief knowing that the cycle is coming to an end and that the next 20 years is gonna be rosy for the Cardinal Signs. But there’s one more boss fight before Pluto finally leaves us Cardinal Signs for good as it’s going to retrograde back for a just a few months (September-November) and then GONE FOREVER.

Btw, astrologers are saying that the Fixed Signs are gonna go through shit in the next 20 years, but please don’t be afraid if you’re a Fixed Sign (especially if you’re a nice person).

How do you get the lines out of your physical drawings so cleanly like digitally

first I make sure I took a well lit photo of an inked drawing on a paper - like this one

its best for the light to be consistent, as in it's not shining from one side only so other side of paper is darker, and try not to use the flash since it can create random highlights in the csnter of the paper

after taking the picture you will just open editing software of choice, I usually edit it inside the photos app and do the following

1. crop it (obvi)

2. increase the contrast

3. increase the blacks and whites

4. fully desaturate

5. either sharpness or pop filter cranked up to 100 for more clarity

hopefully you find this helpful ☝️🧐 that's my whole process basically

also in case you don't have these settings on your stock gallery app, just use Google photos app, that's where I edited the pictures

can i ask how you do your lookbooks? i've been wanting to do the same thing (obvi going to credit you unless me using this idea makes you uncomfy so i just wont copy the lookbook layout) but i havent been able to figure out your getting all the outfits side by side

hi!! doesn't bother me at all, i am far from the only person who formats lookbooks the ways i do and i was of course also inspired by many other simblrs when i started making them!

i have a couple different things i'm happy to share, though i'm afraid none are very scientific. note that i use photoshop for all my editing and most of this advice assumes basic photo editing knowledge:

now, i almost always take outfit screenshots with a transparent background in gshade. i take pictures of every outfit in different poses. this way, i can simply drag the full body outfit pictures onto my photoshop canvas. i play the sizing by ear every time and crop as needed, if you want a starting place with spacing feel free to save one of my lookbooks as an image to your computer and cover my sims with yours. once all my outfits are in place i just add a solid color background, merge the layers, and edit as usual.

before i used this method, i used to just take screenshots of all my outfits that included my cas background and crop them. most of the time it doesn't have to be neat, just erase the extra space around your sim and place all the pics next to each other. if you add a solid color background the same color as your cas background it looks the same. this way also doesn't require gshade.

as far as spacing, like i said i'm always winging it to make sure the sim always looks the same size. i often will turn down the opacity on one pic and place it on top of another to make sure the face and body are about the same for every pic.

i can't tell from your question if you realize that every outfit is a different pic i merge together, i'm not displaying them all side by side until i put them all on the same photoshop canvas.

i hope this made sense/helps somewhat, if you have no idea what i'm talking about it is very basic photoshop, if i managed to learn it by myself truly anyone can lmao. i watched sims 4 editing tutorials on youtube just to get familiar with the basic terminology, i'm def not the best person to explain that.

Oh the PR was shambolic!!!! And people can feel empathy and compassion for Kate’s Cancer and preventative treatment- I really like H&M’s statement- and also be horrified on her account . Like her cancer announcement should not be the end of journalists- not the tabloids who are going to get sooooooo many briefs and sympathetic pieces this weekend- but reporters in the AP and Reuters who were left on read about requesting the original photo from Mother’s Day , from figuring out where it all went wrong (but respecting medical privacy obvi) and the future of the monarchy. KP’s PR was shambolic and while it’s screw up of the situation has garnered a lot of sympathy for Kate, we shouldn’t also stop questioning whyyyy it was so bad. And why they can’t protect the women who marry in😭😭 nothing seems to be modernizing and the women are taking the brunt of it. The one thing that social media, the BRF and the tabloids have in common is their surface level understanding and solidarity with women. And all this during women’s history month🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️

This was honestly the worst PR I've ever seen. I'm no PR or comms expert but if the point of good PR is making your clients look good and protect them then KP PR failed at their jobs. Them having Kate take the blame for the photo was the moment I knew they completely lost the plot. Even if Kate did edit that photo (which I doubt she did) she shouldn't have publicly taken the blame and now knowing that they had her do that after she was given the cancer news is horrible. The women in the monarchy are the age old scapegoat, from the blood princesses to the wives. I think it is interesting to look at how the aristocracy/high society in the UK breeds competition between women and an inability to see each other as equals and be in solidarity with one another. There are some things you just can't modernize out of the monarchy and one of them is the treatment of women especially with the BRF. They love fucking over the women and using them as shields for the criticism of the men. In this case it certainly doesn't look good on William that he let his comms team make his wife who was diagnosed with cancer and is recovering from surgery take the fall for a shitty photoshop job, he should be ashamed for how he let his wife look like a goddamn fool for the whole world.

My mom actually helped me choose my new name (first & middle) after coming out! My birth parents picked my deadname so I was happy to get rid of it lol.

My new middle name, Dawn, was chosen after my grandma Hazel’s middle name.
