Top 20 Charlos Moments
Was talking to my twin @wafflesrisa about Charlos during Imola FP1 earlier and I decided to rank the most insane Charlos moments in order - ranked purely on moments that show just how much they're friends, not just teammates
This is just my own preference and it'll be different for everyone, but here a (non-exhaustive) list:
1. Bahrain 2024 crochet chili
"I want to gift this to you. From my fan to me, to you. So you will remember me for the rest of your life." "A chili!!" "For our post Teammate Era." "Ay we are only starting the season!" Carlos: "You will forget [the chili] there." Charles, softly: "No I won't." Also feat. nearly crying in the car afterwards
2. Miami 2024 Water flick
Carlos doesn't even look at the glass in the couple seconds before he flicks the water at Charles. He's looking at Charles and smiling. Charles gets a little overwhelmed with the affection and gets shy (bonus Ferrari team member being us looking at them)
3. Canada cotton ball lean
The cutest moment in this isn't Carlos telling Charles to admit that Carlos won. It's them both Zendaya laughing at each other when Charles gets caught cheating and Charles having this moment looking at the back of Carlos' head where he gets so overwhelmed with affection he collapses his whole weight into Carlos' side. Their caps bonk. It is cute.
4. Zandvoort 2022 headphone exchange -
Carlos, fixing Charles' headphones: "Put them properly eh? I know you very well." Lissie: "NO, YOU GUYS ARE VIBING TO DIFFERENT SONGS." Charles: "WE FOUND LOVE IN THE HOTTEST PLACE -" *C2 wheeze-laugh at each other and exchange headphones by placing them on each other's faces* Lissie: ...
5. Miami 2024 "I know you too well now"
Charles knowing he knew Carlos well enough to speak for him, and Carlos nodding silently in agreement. Then vice versa, Charles then having unshakable faith in Carlos' understanding of himself. Fist bumps. Fondness.
6. The kiss kiss saga: Charles' rayban kiss. 2023 Bracelet kiss kiss. 2023 music challenge kiss.
The first one especially gets me because it's a solid 5 seconds of Charles looking at Carlos, going FRIEND! MY FRIEND! and going *air kiss*
7. 2023 Abu Dhabi waist pinch and DTS Bahrain waist pinch
Waist pinches run in the Sainz family. Charles knows it's Carlos without needing to look by the time Abu Dhabi rolls around
8. 🎵Just the two of us🎵
Do I even need to say anything
9. Bahrain 2022 1-2 podium hug and butt pat
I can't find the video but Charles stepped up to the top step and instantly was like I HAVE TO HUG MY TEAMMATE I AM TOO HAPPY NOT TO HUG MY TEAMMATE AND SHARE THIS WITH HIM
10. Cookie decorating
So much happens in this video. The complete lack of personal space. The comfy sofa. The vocal stims. Twinning. Carlos sings "Dancing in the Moonlight," and Charles whistles it a bit later. Icing to the cheek. Teasing.
11. Zandvoort 2023 catch up
Charles forgetting they did spend the last bit of summer break further away from each other because they spent so much of the first part of summer break not far from each other. Also again. Carlos loves his personal space, Charles also loves Carlos' personal space
12. Carlos: "I'm not going to be here." Charles: *flinches*
13. TELL CHARLES TO COME CLOSE TO ME AND WE CELEBRATE THIS ONE TOGETHER/helmet pats/gentlest hug in parc ferme /podium champagne
I can't find the video of the hug but it's so gentle and Carlos leans his cheek into Charles' and I die
14. Love Honey Sweetie Baby Darling
They just pick up pet names and exchange them like lego
15. OG music challenge squishes/holding hands in OG quiz with wrenches
16. Abu Dhabi 2022 end of season message
Charles was plainly trying to smile for the camera but rightly upset with not having the championship year he wanted, but his smile turned genuine when Carlos hugged him and said Charles at least deserved P2 in Abu Dhabi for the great year he had driving incredibly well
17. Mexico separation anxiety Charles (Edit: posted initially with wrong link, updated now)
18. Zandvoort 2023 fond eye rolls
19. Carlos' 2022 birthday
They're insufferable. Charles' whinging is cute too
20. Carlos looking somft when imagining racing Le Mans with Charles
"With Charles," he says, while his press officer smirks
Feel free to add to this I just went down a wormhole of Charlos feels
#It's 1:50 AM have to sleep for work tomorrow but I just HAD to make this#this is basically a lexicon of all the times they were like I AM VERY AFFECTIONATE FOR MY FRIEND#f1#charlos#carlos sainz#charles leclerc#ferrari#scuderia ferrari#my post#charlos lore#charlos masterpost

yourinstagram you asked for it, we listened: mother and i went back into the studio specifically to record more lana on snow on the beach. love u @honeymoon. it will be a part of the new midnights (til dawn edition) deluxe album that you can preorder now at my online website (link in bio!)
as many of you know, when i released midnights 7 months ago, the original concept was fun, dreamy, n honestly a reflection of how i felt at the time. after going through a rather tragic breakup, i cannot see the album the same anymore because it isn't how i feel. it's not me. i revised the entire project during some free time between tour with some amazing people, and in a way, i'm grateful for that breakup! it inspired two, beautiful songs and an edition of the album that you will all be hearing soon. to make a long story short: my new single you’re losing me will be out midnight, 7/17!

🏎️Turbo (Wreck-It Ralph) x (gn) Reader🏁
(First Date Edition!)
(Picture’s not mine)
(Request here! This song is getting popular all of sudden for some reason?? Like I’m glad it’s getting the recognition it deserves it just surprises me how quick songs get popular. Already brushed upon this idea but getting into deeper detail is something I’m all for ngl)
- Again he’s not much of a date guy, not wanting to put much effort into anything, having the idea that just because you guys are a thing now he doesn’t need to... He’s an idiot if I haven’t established that fact enough.
- He eventually gets it through his thick skull that doing nothing romantic with you is unacceptable and slowly attempts to be more of a boyfriend and not some guy you hang out with and kiss in private.
- Dates with him even after his “mind-bending epiphany”, there’s an effort now but it’s executed in a very lax manner, like getting you some food after hours and chatting with you while sitting on the roof of his kart.
- I think sometimes dates are either planned or rather spontaneous in a “may as well” kind of way, like, you’re here, he’s here, date time.
- His stubborn nature tends to make him insist on having dates in either his own or older games for the sake of being somewhere familiar… This is understandable but he never frames it that way, calling a game you suggest you guys go to as “brainless” among other things.
- He takes great pride in his game so it’s one of his main hang-out spots, usually orbiting around the idea of simply staying in Turbo Time and showing off his large and ever-growing display of trophies to you for the umpteenth time.
- That cocky part of his personality lets itself known during your dates… Honestly lets it be known in general so not much of a difference, except he’s trying to get your attention rather than other people.
- A more covert part of himself yearns for your approval, seeking it whenever the chance arises, he realizes dates give him a reason to get it. Becoming more keen with the concept as he gets your undivided attention.
- I think the first official date between you two was in Turbo Time, again not a very romantic one but there was an effort and he expects to be rewarded for it, kisses are acceptable payment.
- Bring some food with him so you two aren’t just sitting there doing absolutely nothing… It’s kinda awkward at first because you two are just eating in silence for like a good minute before someone breaks the ice and that innate ability to talk about stupid things between the two of you is activated.
It probably ends with you guys kissing in his kart, a surprisingly pleasant end that is quickly ruined when a smug look makes its way onto his face and you have to push his face away with a scoff.
- Has a tendency to belittle anything else you have planned that doesn’t include him, calling them inherently stupid under the guise of a joke… A very unfunny joke.
- He’s a bit (really) toxic if that hasn’t been hammered in already, having the ugly habit of only thinking about himself and what others could do to help him.
- You’re no exception, taking him a while to adjust to having to think about you and what you may think about something, with those dates being a good example of that.
- His downright horrid perspective is baffling and shows you how this guy was created to be a winner, just not a noble one.
- Talking about winners, I think he calls himself as such when talking about your relationship, especially after this special date and high off of the emotions it warranted from him.
- That date specifically is the start of an era between the two of you, really puts things into perspective for Turbo— That now he isn’t as invincible as he originally thought, that there’s things beyond just winning.
- It wasn’t about winning in the first place, it simply gave him what he craved the second he got the taste of it when his game got its La first-ever quarters by a gamer whose name has been long since forgotten to him, power.
- Those attempts I think in a way give him this idea that “following the program” is something he doesn’t need to follow, he’s Turbo— And having a relationship with someone so… Different to him is something his programming was initially opposed against, only for it to work for you two… For the most part.
- He’s Turbo and can do whatever he wants with you by his side, whether his intentions for the natural order of things around him are good or not.

i think it's partly bc of rerecording her albums and having fans love the vault tracks that she now feels she cant leave anything on the cutting room floor just in case
i definitely think that's part of it, but - and i say this as someone who likes a majority of the vault tracks - i think it was a good thing that they were initially left on the cutting room floor. including them originally would have detracted from what the albums were trying to say.
speak now and 1989 are the best examples of this. the point of speak now was two things: taylor wanting to prove she could do it on her own, and each song referencing a specific person or scenario. with the exception of when emma falls in love (the weakest of the lot imo) and castles crumbling (which has a feature), the SNTV vault tracks are more...vague in who/what they're about. and sure, if they'd been released on the original album with the secret messages we might have more context, but that isn't something we can say for certain. speak now is the only album that's about multiple people and we can pinpoint who or what each song is referencing (except maybe sparks fly which was included for the fans, and haunted but that could be because i've never cared enough to investigate if it's about john or joe).
as for 1989, i think the vault tracks are definitely stronger than some of the songs that made the cut (as much as i love WTNY and HYGTG, they're not her best work), but i don't think they would have fit into the story she was trying to tell. whether taylor successfully made an album that is about independence and not love is up for debate, but she claims that was her intention. IION and say don't go aren't great fits for that story, especially since it was one she was trying to tell within the secret messages.
i think red's biggest problem is that it was already too long of an album (which is also part of speak now's problem). i think the red vault tracks fit the theme of all the varying degrees of love, but red TV clocks out at over two hours. it's possible that forever winter in particular was too raw a song to release at the time (has she played it live yet? i haven't kept up with eras tour that much).
and while i love the fearless vault tracks, i do wonder if including them would have earned it less acclaim. they're good songs, but fearless is by far her most polished album imo. even the deluxe tracks, which i also adore, kinda take away from how well rounded the standard album is. it's very possible it's only capped at 13 tracks because cds back then could only hold so much, but i also think that it was a better decision for the marketing of the album itself.
but now, with ttpd and the eight million versions of midnights, it's harder to find the good shit because it's surrounded by so much filler. and yeah, part of it is that some of the songs on those albums are just...not good (bejeweled my deepest enemy), but i think a culling would have greatly benefitted them. ESPECIALLY with ttpd. taylor's always been songwriter who releases stuff that could be diary entries, but at least before it was like...you at least edited this. now it just seems like we're getting every single journal entry as is. and it's tiring. 31 songs is too much. hell, 16 songs for lover was too much.
ultimately i think it comes down to the fact that she no longer gets any push back from the people she works with, and fans are both willing to accept quantity over quality and (for many swifties, but not all) there's just a refusal to criticise her work at all. and i think taylor's desire to constantly release new content (which i think is a combination of a constant need for relevancy combined with the fact she's always writing) combined with being surrounded by yes men and adoring fans is impacting her work negatively. which has been the case since lover if not earlier, but i think midnights/ttpd are her most glaring examples of it.
anyway lmao sorry this got long. sorry for never being on here and then finally showing up to have opinions about taylor swift. do you guys still think i'm hot.

How Good SKZ Members Would Be At Hiding Their Secret Partner
(Scores given out of 10)
Chan (방찬)
- 7/10
- I feel like he would be super careful, especially at the beginning
- But he would definitely accidentally mention it during a Channies Room (cut to him accidentally revealing his hair color without a thought)
- You think Maxident era had a lot of love songs? Oh boy, be prepared for Lovesick Channie.
Minho (민호)
- 9/10
- One of the boys would accidentally mention it and his face would turn so red
- He stares longingly at you when you’re behind the camera during filming and it’s very obvious
- BUT he seems very private so it wouldn’t come out for like a long time.
Changbin (창빈)
- 8/10
- He’s someone who definitely likes to keep his private life private, so it would be pretty easy for him for a while.
- Similarly to Channie, he would be writing love song after love song, filling up that poor laptop with his affection for you
- Why do I feel like he would have like a little bite mark on his bicep that he couldn’t explain away and that’s the thing that would reveal it? Maybe bc I’m a feral Binnie lover.
Hyunjin (현진)
- 6/10
- 100% would send the wrong selfie on Bubble (cut to him accidentally sending a selfie into the group chat bc they “look the same” on Bubble)
- Also would proudly wear a couple ring but then realize people would know that means he has a partner
- You’re his muse and there’s a piece of you in all of his art, so everyone knows rather quickly
Han (한)
- 7/10
- He would def be good about not mentioning his partner or anything
- But I just KNOW Han Jisung is a closet raider. He would wear your stuff all the time.
- He gets caught bc he wears one of your old high school t-shirts and people immediately connect the dots.
Felix (용복)
- 5/10
- Dude would not care, you cannot convince me otherwise.
- Like, he would be super scared of getting caught at first
- But the second he sees an edit of a stay shipping you guys, he “accidentally” reveals it during a live.
Seungmin (승민)
- 10/10
- Fr the type to suddenly reveal that he’s married and has two kids
- Def knows how to protect his privacy without being shady
- Only reveals your relationship because he wants to, not because he gets caught.
I.N (아이앤)
- 8/10
- Would accidentally soft launch you on the skz IG account bc you were taking his ootd pic and didn’t realize people could see your reflection
- OR would accidentally give you photo credit without realizing that people may run with that.
- He tries his best to keep it a secret, but he spends so much time with you that he gets found out sooner than he thought.

quick ttpd thoughts
ok so. i did listen to a leak so I had time to sit with the OG album for a while. I have not yet listened to all the Anthology tracks, but this not-doing of something is part of my album reaction. Bear with me.
First of all: I am insanely impressed with Taylor for being this raw and messy on record. More distinguished haters have said that this album once again feels like self-mythologizing, but I personally do not agree. User dancefloors had an excellent take on this: the album is emotional and messy to a degree where you feel like you should not be listening to it. At least that's how I felt.
However, that also has a downside. I find many of the lyrics, especially on the standard edition, to be unpolished or downright cringe. This rambl-y first draft type of writing might work for other artists, but I never feel like it works for Taylor. The second line of Fortnight is so awful that I was CONVINCED the leak I heard was AI, and people have talked at length about the tattooed Golden Retriever. Girl. Almost every song had an insane clunker or two hidden in it. This is not helped by what I personally (!) perceive to be a bit of a rehashing of imagery and themes that have been prominent in songwriting trends for the past few years. Killing the woman you are jealous of, Cassandra, religious imagery .... Don't get me wrong, I think the call for "originality" at al costs can be detrimental to art, but frequently with this album i felt as if lines were haparzadly chosen to fit a certain "aesthetic" that didn't mesh well with the rest of the song. Like. Nothing about "my husband's cheating. I wanna kill him." communicates any deeper emotion. (Compared to e.g. Samia's "I hope you marry the girl from your hometown and I'll fucking kill her and I'll fucking freak out.")
The introductory poem is one of the worst things i have ever read.
The thing is. I don't always do well with new releases, they are overwhelming, etc., but I listened to the first four tracks and was like "how can anybody think this is good". Which IS a hater take, and there is much I do enjoy about the album, and I am happy others like it.But with the already present repetition PLUS 15 Tracks .... it is a bit too much. I could go on and on about the repetition of words and themes that feels a bit trite (smalltown stuff, "starry-eyed", "precocious"), but I don't wanna. I wish there had been more editing, and I think I have talked at length before about how I do not like this new era of just putting out everything.
Alas. I did not click with this album and there are very few tracks i want to go back to. So Long, London is a favorite because of the concise lyrics and beautiful production, I can bop to Down Bad, but daddy I love him is fun imagery-wise, Clara/Sam/Sophia/Marcus is sad and also. A Lot., So High School, and I dig "You're not Dylan Thomas, I'm not Patti Smith, this ain't the Chelsea Hotel, we're modern idiots". The 2am tracks need more attention, but I already like Looking Into Windows (?) much more than a lot of other tracks - generally, I enjoy the more genuinely sad Joe tracks about the slow demise of a relationship much more than the fast paced high strung ones.
anything else .... well. I don't know.

High Infidelity is about Miss Americana.
Notes before we begin: First, I can’t post screenshots from the doc bc Netflix, but I have pulled direct quotes and rewatched scenes over and over as I wrote this analysis. The more I watched, the more this theory made sense.
Second, while I obviously don’t know what Taylor Swift’s relationship with her dad is like, the clips in Miss American plus the song tolerate it are enough to convince me that he’s not/wouldn’t be accepting of Taylor being queer. There’s a reason she’s a mama’s girl. This is a Scott Swift hate account.
Let’s begin
Verse One
Lock broken,
A common interpretation of this lyric is the invasion of privacy that is someone reading your diary/journal. Having a locked diary is also something most common with young girls (only girls get privacy, sorry lads), and in Miss Americana, the first diary that Taylor shows in the first scene while she says the first words of the film is a diary that has a lock, and there’s also a closeup of another diary with a lock, as well as the words “bitch session.” There’s also the very common trope/reality of parents reading your diary. Speaking from personal experience, this can genuinely be traumatic, especially taking into consideration the next two words.
Slur Spoken
Seeing as Taylor is a white woman, I genuinely don’t know how else this can be interpreted besides a homophobic slur being spoken. $!u and b*!tch are derogatory, but that’s not the same thing as being a slur. Also, I’m not going to justify the “she’s talking about slurring words while drunk!!” interpretation bc that makes less sense than thinking the slur is “whore.” (I think the diary I mentioned that says “bitch session” is further proof that Taylor doesn’t consider ‘bitch’ to be a slur, even though she has called out the misogynistic way men use it in music.)
Wound open, game token
The person who is breaking this lock and speaking this slur and opening this wound is using Taylor’s pain as a means to get a prize. “You play stupid games you win stupid prizes” (MAATHBP), “You knew you won, so what’s the point of keeping score?” (hoax).
I didn't know you were keeping count
In the Man music video, during the tennis match, Scott Swift is playing the scorekeeper. This line is repeated multiple times in the song. The context of the repetition does change and develop throughout the song.
Rain soaking, blind hoping
I think this refers to the Lover era and how Taylor was not able to come out (specifically that video where she’s talking about ME! and looks sad as shit). I think it’s also a reference to Midnight Rain, rain being a metaphor for unexpected, unseen change, and also the isolation of staying hidden.
You said I was freeloading / I didn't know you were keeping count
As someone with a dad, I can confirm that this is very dad-coded. Like, I can’t think of a context in Taylor’s life where a romantic partner would’ve said this to her, especially considering how idk, rich and successful she’s been since she was a teenager? While I don’t think her dad would ever be justified in saying this to her either, it could be a reference to him throwing his role in her career in her face, the way we see in Miss Americana.
Chorus
This is where things come together in terms of being about Miss Americana.
High infidelity / Put on your records and regret me / I bent the truth too far tonight / I was dancing around, dancing around it
In order to produce a consumable product (the Lover journals) around her and her art, she had to dance around the full truth. The entries were meticulously chosen and most likely edited. In Miss Americana, the segment where she “comes out” as a democrat feels like it might’ve been a different kind of coming out story, especially when you factor in the creation of You Need To Calm Down. It comes across as extremely personal, and while there are multiple factors leading to the experience being emotionally charged for Taylor, I do think that her own queerness is one of those factors. The entire documentary feels like she’s dancing around a bent truth.
Put on your headphones and burn my city
Putting on headphones is shorthand for ignoring someone. “Burn my city” in the context of how Taylor equates her (former) lover with *a certain city* feels like an indication that the subject of the song did something to sabotage and burn down the relationship. I think this is a reference to how her career and the people controlling it (such as her father, but others as well) ruined the love she’s been singing about since reputation.
Your picket fence is sharp as knives
This also goes back to Midnight Rain (“my town was a wasteland, full of cages, full of fences”)
I was dancing around, dancing around it
Taylor has used dancing as a literary device throughout her discography. I believe it’s typically a metaphor for queerness.
Post Chorus
Do you really want to know where I was April 29th?
This goes back to the diaries from Miss Americana. This is Taylor being confronted about a journal entry from an April 29th where she wrote something gay. When *her dad* saw it, it led to a slur being spoken.
Do I really have to chart the constellations in his eyes?
This refers to the segment in Miss Americana that is allegedly all about Joe. Call It What You Want plays over a montage of videos filmed by an unseen lover. The only clip actually featuring Joe in the entire film is a single moment where Taylor and Joe look vaguely excited to see each other after one of the Rep shows. The way she wrote and sung this line makes it seem like charting constellations in some dude’s eyes is the last thing she wants to do.
Verse Two
Storm coming, good husband / Bad omen / Dragged my feet right down the aisle
This very much sounds like Taylor being forced to be romantically linked in a traditional, heterosexual way. The storm coming and bad omen are what led to her being pushed into this, likely the media storm that happened in 2016. It ties together the lines about pickets fences and how the rain referenced in the first verse is connected to Midnight Rain, because, as we learned with the very first track on Midnights, Taylor is not interested in 1950’s shit.
At the house lonely,
“To a house not a home all alone ‘cause nobody’s there,” Dear Reader
good money,
“the jokes weren’t funny, I took the money” from YOYOK is just one example of how the money comes at the cost of herself and who she is and her worth as a human being…
I'd pay if you'd just know me / Seemed like the right thing at the time
…but now she’s regretting paying that price, wishing that she could be truly known. It seemed like the right thing, but she’s realizing that it wasn’t. Alternatively, she regrets coming out to her and the price she now has to pay of knowing his love was conditional. She paid the price for being known. Also, during the clips that play during the segment allegedly about Joe, Taylor is singing Call It What You Want, specifically the lyric At least I did one thing right” which is… devastating in this context. She also says:
But I wasn’t happy in the way that I was trained to be happy…It was happiness without anyone else’s input. It was just, we were happy.
Anyway she doesn’t seem happy anymore.
Pre Chorus
You know there's many different ways that you can kill the one you love / The slowest way is never loving them enough
This creates a strong connection to tolerate it. I feel like this lyric is the thesis of that song. Again, this is a very dad-coded lyric. It’s the slow realization that a parent’s love can be conditional. It’s like when a queer kid comes out and a parent says “I still love you, but…” There’s other contexts where that phrase could exist, but it’s an extremely common queer experience.
Do you really want to know where I was April 29th? / Do I really have to tell you how he brought me back to life?
I think this could refer to the narrative of Joe Alwyn being William Bowery (which is suspect at best and criminal at worst). She has to say that Joe helped her write devastating breakup songs like exile and champagne problems to keep up the narrative that they are in a VERY HAPPY relationship.
The next new lyric is in the third chorus and let’s just say I have thoughts about it.
Put on your records and regret meeting me
THIS LYRIC HAS BEEN DRIVING ME MAD FOR THREE MONTHS. In the other choruses she says “regret me,” but she changes it here to be “regret meeting me” in the last chorus. “Regret me” implies regretting the existence of Taylor Swift. It’s the people credited with kick-starting her career (such as her father!!!) putting on your records, a double-entendre for her albums + the awards and accolades she has earned for those albums. But! In this chorus! The lyric is! Regret meeting me! The promo for Midnights focused heavily on “meet me at midnight,” the concept that she would be showing who she really is with the album, so much so that people thought she might be coming out with this album. While I think this lyric is a reference to that narrative and the fear that her fans won’t get her or won’t like her after listening to Midnights, I also think it is about how her dad regrets learning who she really is, and how he therefore IGNORES IT by listening to the albums she wrote about me. This is the only lyric in the chorus that changes, and it’s seemingly such a small change, a single word added to the line, but that’s what makes it so massive. Because why would she change this lyric if not to completely change the meaning of the line? It’s drawing a distinction between regretting someone’s existence and regretting knowing the truth about them.
Oh, there's many different ways that you can kill the one you love
And it's never enough, it's never enough
I think the phrasing here implies that Taylor feels like she can never be good enough to earn the love she needs and deserves. This ties it, again, to the intro of Miss Americana where she’s going through her diaries and talks about how her main goal in life was to be a good girl.
Outro
The entire first chorus is repeated, and we have a new perspective.
You said I was freeloading
When it comes to this line specifically, I think it refers to the conversation about Taylor’s desire to speak publicly about politics, in which her dad throws in her face how he hired armored cars, essentially saying that she owes him something. It’s just phrased in an odd way and it makes everyone uncomfy.
I didn't know you were keeping count / But oh, you were keeping count
The repetition of the first chorus at the end of the song implies that this song is cyclical. It’s a loop that she’s trapped in. (If you put this song on repeat and turn up the crossfade, you can listen on a seamless loop). Tolerate It does the same thing. Repetition also draws attention to the lyrics while recontextualizing them. The last lyric (“but oh, you were keeping count”) is this acknowledgment that her relationship with this person was/is transactional.
What about the name of the song?
Okay, I’m convinced the only reason anyone would ever think this is a song about cheating is because of the title. Obviously, the primary definition of the word infidelity is cheating on a romantic or sexual partner. Nothing else in the song indicated cheating. SO. OBVIOUSLY. I GOOGLED. THE DEFINITION. TO SEE. WHAT. AN ALTERNATIVE. MIGHT. BE
unbelief in a particular religion, especially Christianity.
Jesus Fucking CHrist. Taylor Swift has called herself a Christian, and she has also written songs with overt religious themes, typically borrowing from Christianity specifically (Don’t Blame Me; False God; Would’ve, Could’ve, Should’ve; Soon You’ll Get Better). While I know that you can be queer and Christian, it is not unreasonable to conclude that coming out as queer to a conservative Christian (parent) would be considered a lack of belief in Christianity. Infidelity literally means “unfaithful.” To many people, Christianity and queerness are unreconcilable, to the point that they believe accepting yourself as queer can lead to you going to hell. While they won’t say this outloud, many Christians put “homosexuality” into a higher category of sin, meaning that being queer is HIGHLY UNCHRISTIAN, HIGHLY UNFAITHFUL, HIGH INFIDELITY.
One last thing. Miss Americana was released at midnight PST. Which is 3am EST. High Infidelity is a 3am track. So, yeah.
tl;dr
High Infidelity is about being considered unfaithful for being who you are. It’s about dying slowly because you are not loved (enough) for who you are. It’s about how the lies you’ve been forced to tell have forced you to be unfaithful to yourself. It’s about Miss Americana.

[Translation] capsule in girls '60s magazine (Feb. 2004)
When I first saw their music videos, the striking visuals immediately caught my eye. Simplistic designs, vivid color schemes on the outfits and sets… I can't describe the style as anything other than '60s-inspired. For the first edition of our "Pick Up Artist" feature, it's one whose existence fascinates me — let's take a look at the charm of capsule.
capsule is a music unit consisting of Nakata Yasutaka, whom manages the sound, art direction, design, concept work and so on, and vocalist Koshijima Toshiko. Nakata directs the image, visual aspects, and songs while Koshijima performs it all, resulting in their unique style. - original interview by Aikawa Chisato, translation by ystk-archive -
The reason behind their '60s-inspired visual style
Nakata: To be honest, I don't have any particular attachment to the '60s. I just like unique and minimalistic things, stuff with interesting shapes and clean designs and whatnot. It started when I got into interior design, and at first I especially liked Space Age furniture.¹ That's changed a little recently — I like pieces made out of wood but still with that outerspace kind of vibe. Even when it's made from wood, it doesn't feel natural, it still has this sort of odd look. When it comes to the '60s, I like the plywood that they often used. But I'm intrigued by Karimoku furniture too (laughs).²
— So would you say you're more interested in space and not the '60s?
Nakata: Yeah, and I guess sci-fi movies played a part in that. In movies like Men in Black you often see Tulip chairs, though I don't think they were used to evoke a retro or '60s feel on purpose.³ With films like that I tend to focus more on the furniture and not the overall atmosphere; if anything, I see furniture along with fashion as objects that look nice when put into a scene you're taking in as a whole. I like to come up with unconventional settings. Women are usually depicted in sci-fi films as secretaries, all wearing identical wigs and uniforms, and I like that kind of weird atmosphere. So instead of me consciously liking '60s aesthetics, I wound up thinking they were cool without making the connection that they were from that decade. I also love clothes that incorporate simplistic, striking designs, since they're like spacesuits (laughs).
— How do you feel about wearing clothes like that?
Koshijima: I'm also not obsessed with the '60s or anything, but I like to play around with that era's clothing and makeup styles. It's more fun than just wearing normal clothes.
— Have you two had similar tastes all along?
Nakata: Our tastes used to be completely different. I feel like she's adjusted to match me.
— So Koshijima-san is committed to being a model?
Koshijima: Yep. I haven't changed my approach, ever since the beginning.
— Are there times where you feel like your tastes really are different?
Koshijima: I don't think so. If we actually were fundamentally different, I don't think we'd be working together. Strangely enough, when I look at the materials I'm given, I start to think they're cute. Nakata: When I get an idea, I suggest it first. Koshijima: But he doesn't show me clothes or anything directly, instead he shows me photos and videos… Like I'm being brainwashed (laughs). The more he introduces me to all kinds of cool things, the more similar we become. After I watched the materials he gave me, poses and dance moves just started coming naturally to me without even realizing it.
— Maybe you ran across something from the '60s that left an impression and that ended up coming through in your image.
Nakata: Yeah, there are a lot of easy explanations for it. I wonder if we're more like a new product with a retro design that would fit nicely in someone's living room, rather than something that could be found in an authentic '60s vintage shop. I think even if we intentionally collected oldschool aesthetics from that era and tried to copy those, it'd still turn out differently, because peoples' concept of the '60s and the real '60s are two different things. But if you take parts of that concept people have of that decade and use them, you wind up with something that has the right feel to it. For me right now, the concept I have in mind is the "style" of the '60s. Instead of making clothes or objects to match up with the '60s aesthetic, the styles are already floating around in my head, and then I make content that reflects that. There were a lot of useless shapes — like aren't record players from back then weird-looking? The technology of them and the half-dome shape are of that time, but the way they look on the outside is as if someone was imagining the future while designing them. It's interesting how these days it's the opposite: now the exterior designs of things are retro while the tech inside is highly advanced. And I like both (laughs). I even like things that seem out of place. I'm drawn to a sense of disharmony.
— Would you say the essence of the '60s is woven into your music?
Nakata: Not intentionally. I think the things I like tend to show through my music on accident. Basically I want to make any music, as long as it's cute.
— So do you feel like music is essentially an object?
Nakata: Music is something I started doing because I thought I could create it. It was right when I was in junior high school, they'd made a lot of progress with technology so making cassette tapes became fun. Part of that was because I liked the feeling of winding a tape up. I liked playing around with machines more than the music aspect itself and, when it comes to decorating, I even like the look of a tape deck sitting in a room. So that's why I want our CDs to be sold in regular stores along with other kinds of merchandise. I don't think music should be classified as something special and separate; it's good if it's just one part of the total amount of belongings in a space. Rather than wanting people to listen to our music seriously, I'd be happy if they enjoy the atmosphere it gives when they play it out in the open.
¹ Space Age design was characterized by "sleek, aerodynamic lines and geometric forms," "dominated by bright, bold hues" and was often constructed of manmade materials such as plastic. You can read more about it here. ² Karimoku is a Japanese brand of all-wood furniture boasting superior craftsmanship. You can read more about it and look at examples here. ³ This is the famous Tulip chair.

Tommy february6: Strawberry Cream Soda Pop "Daydream" (2009.02.25)
A greatest hits collection can be irresistible. Generally speaking, they bypass the chance of any filler tracks, do a solid job of hitting and summarizing the career highlights, and are especially beneficial to new listeners looking to test the waters of a new obsession while also being a great stroll down memory lane for longtime fans. I agree with the argument that these collections became superfluous cash grabs after the ability to burn CDs at home rendered them moot, let alone the birth of the digital playlist -- why pay for someone else's idea of the best songs when you can customize your own? -- but I can't help grabbing one off of the shelf, sometimes over a studio album, whenever I'm in a hurry, knowing I'm guaranteed a great experience from start to finish. There are some really great ones that hit it out of the park and come to mind immediately: hide's PSYCHOMMUNITY, The Weeknd's The Highlights, and Tommy february6's Strawberry Cream Soda Pop "Daydream."
Tommy february6's greatest hits collection was released in February of 2009, and celebrates two amazing album cycles of music under Tomoko Kawase's alter ego. At eighteen songs, there's a lot to explore here, as aside from the big singles like "EVERYDAY AT THE BUS STOP" and "je t’aime ★ je t’aime," it also features some B-sides and album cuts. And since Tommy's albums were so excellent, this compilation ends up being nearly flawless. Every track captures the sugar rush of peak-80s synth-pop, heavily inspired by cult duo Strawberry Switchblade and the compositions of Stock Aitken Waterman filtered through MALIBU CONVERTIBLE's impeccable production.
In fact, there are only a few issues that I have, the biggest being that it felt a little early for a greatest hits collection. Though we were seven years into her career, with just two full studio albums, it felt more ominous than celebratory, and indeed, this sort of preceded what ended up being a much more sparse release schedule under the moniker -- after this collection, she only released one mini-album, one full album, and a handful of songs from february6, most which lost this signature sound, veering instead toward more modern dance-pop. Perhaps she saw this coming and released this to collect those songs and deliberately signal the end of a kind of era. That would make sense if you took into account the last track on here, which is the new song "◯Strawberry●Cream◯Soda●Pop◯," a song that sounds a tad out of place. Second, with so many songs on the collection, it begs the question as to why certain non-singles songs were chosen over others. I don't have any good answers, and I don't mind the choices, but I do feel like the second half gets a little packed with slower songs.
This album was released as the sister compilation album to her other alter ego Tommy heavenly6's Gothic Melting Ice Cream's Darkness "Nightmare." It was released in three different versions: CD+DVD, CD-only, and a giant limited edition box set over 12" tall that featured lots of extra goodies. Greatest hits albums have the advantage of being easy to declare near perfect, and this is one of the easiest of all.

thoughts on beach89? photos, themes and titles of vault tracks?
ohhhhhh i LOVE this question i think
this post by @sayitslove and this post by @taylortruther are beautifully done and worth a read!
anyways now the photos -> i think they are appropriate as to what the vaults may sound like! the 'tip toeing' one and 'ballerina' gives me very very heavy mirrorball vibes when no one is around, my dear you'll find me on my tallest tiptoes// i'm still on that tightrope i'm still trying everything to get you laughing at me,,, i also think in hindsight 1989 as an album + era was very mirrorball in itself (getting more and more slut-shamed because she was gaining a lot of fame, trying a new genre especially when tons of people wanted to fail including her label being label discouraging and country people especially men perceiving her as a threat, she was as a girlie in her 20s was going through refer to her billboard speech 'you think i am dating to much? okay here is an album about friendship. you think that my music boring and repetitive? okay here is an entire shift of genre' etc etc).
the screaming one -> just the last american dynasty vibes all the way and miss americana and the heartbreak prince although it can be argued that they are very interchangeable songs! i mean she was portrayed as 'an evil woman' who never apologises holds a grudge is and a 'man hater' and writes about her relationships only. so it is so fitting for 1989.
the ice cream one -> is actually my favourite cause it perfectly meshes the suburban or beach and the city which means that she is embracing both sides. this edit by @hits-differently is so telling! given that they all (public during 1989) are calling her a 'slut!' yet she is so unbothered.
the vault tracks
'slut!' -> as i have been saying that i have a feeling that new romantics is going to transition into slut (production-wise) and it would cover all the 'rumours' as mentioned about in new romantics,, i personally think it would be very 1989 as we know it because the core theme of og has always been addressing the wild accusation and just beating the narrative made by the public. i think this edit by @dancingwiththecoven explains it well,, almost as if taylor is acknowledging a word that was used against her and giving it a new meaning.
say dont go -> i am assuming it to have the themes of all you had to do was stay and how you get the girl! i think it is going to be how the story is over but she is still rooting for the two of them. i know this not going to happen but i would love to see first taylor repeating dont go dont go in a pleading voice with a phone call effect on it and then a choir joining it until it is just her again saying that again and again in a high pitched voice and then suddenly it stops (like the calling being cancelled)
now that we dont talk- this like lowkey throwing me off because it feels like a sad song but i have a feeling that she might be a bop with sad lyrics yes but with out of pocket lyrics as well. something like now that we dont talk i have clinging onto your best friend lips every night or something idk!
is it over now-> again feels like a sad song may not but seem like a letter being addressed to the fire situation where she writes a long ass message but deletes it. might go on a limb and say we might get an electric guitar on this.
suburban legends -> i am actually very very excited for this! i do see this as a sad bop honestly as i was saying to @alwaysleadstoyou a month before it gives me the vibes of astronomy by conan gray. defo see it as two lovers who grew apart, although they didn't want to and although they were so talked about and everyone's favourite couple in the suburb (re champagne problems) they moved on but no one else did. lyrics seems like cowboy like me and dorothea,,, production false god.
now the transition from city to beach is a controversial one; i almost dont care. i understand how the beach is more suitable for the 'new taylor' as growth, and understand that the beach makes more sense now that she is older and wiser(especially with out of the woods mv i.e., meeting herself on the beach she is finally clean etc etc). while i understand that others would want the bustling noisy city as she is re-recording NOT making a new record! and the opener does start with welcome to new york.
i just think that she moved to the beach because the vaults match the vibe more with it and just rolled with that. also, i cannot find my post before 1989tv was announced cause of tumblr system but i think it sums this up perfectly she can go anywhere she wants just not home because she left a part of her back in new york to a house, not a home, all alone 'cause nobody's there
[sorry for the very late reply nonie! but i was invested!]

The Trick Of Keeping Alive A Timeless Genre With Stephen Sanchez & Laufey
Throughout music history, different genres have come and gone, and certain genres were more popular in certain decades than others. History always has a way of repeating itself, however, because nostalgia always rears its head after so many years and something that was unpopular comes back into the zeitgeist yet again. Hell, something that wasn’t even nostalgic might pop back up, and an artist comes along that’s so good, people can’t help but listen to it and enjoy it. You can say that for two artists in the last couple of years — Stephen Sanchez and Laufey. Both of these artists are relatively different, but also kind of the same, especially when Laufey appeared on Stephen Sanchez’s debut album in 2023, so there’s at least some overlap.
What these two artists have in common is that they make music from their grandparents’ generation (maybe great-grandparents, depending on how old their grandparents are), but the kind of music they make is different. Sanchez makes 50s and 60s style traditional pop and early rock and roll, basically like Buddy Holly, Elvis, Dion, Frankie Valli, and a lot of that 50s and 60s sound, at least before rock and roll really took over and the blues seeped its way into the genre. Laufey, on the other hand, makes jazz, traditional pop, classical, and bossa nova, which made were common in the 1940s and 1950s. She has a very relaxed, moody, and introspective sound, but she sounds like she would fit right in during the 1940s and the 1950s.
I did listen to both of their latest albums, respectfully entitled Angel Face and Bewitched, back when they came out in 2023, but I never reviewed them. That was kind of because I just didn’t really care for these albums enough to really sink my teeth into them, but they both just recently released a deluxe edition with some new songs, so I thought it would be interesting to listen to these albums again with the new songs, just to see if the new songs add anything to the overall experience.
I’m sort of torn on both of these albums, because the new songs both add something to the album itself, but at the same time, I’m not head over heels for these albums, although I do respect them quite a bit. I respect these albums, because they bring back styles of music that aren’t very popular right now. Jazz, traditional pop, and rockabilly aren’t popular styles of music, and they’re quite niche, so the fact that they’re both extremely popular is awesome.
I will say, though, that both of these albums don’t do much for me for different reasons. Stephen Sanchez is a wonderful singer, but he’s best with singles. He’s a singles artist, and some of the best songs on Angel Face are the singles. As much as I respect his sound and what he’s doing, lot of what he does is very surface level, and it sounds like he likes that type of music, but it almost comes off like a cosplay at times. Whether it’s the lyrics, the sound itself, or the whole idea of the album, it just feels so amateur. The new songs on the album are good, thankfully, but they’re more of the same, and they just don’t do much for me, at least enough to make me want to go back to that album instead of listening to stuff from that era that’s way better.
Laufey is better, thankfully, but the issue with her sound is that she’s an artist that I like to listen to in certain moods or situations. Her music is best digested at night, when it’s quiet and the sun is down, because this is music for the midnight jazz club. It’s quiet, subdued, and moody, versus being catchy and energetic. I like more energetic jazz, but this is still pretty good, too. I just don’t come back to it much, because it’s not an album I want to listen to at most times of day. If I listen to this, it’s later at night when I’m winding down, and some music is just that - mood music. The new songs on this album are wonderful tracks, and there is a great and surprisingly energetic cover of “It Could Happen To You.” It’s just that this album is little too long for its own good, and where it has a mood that’s quieter and more introspective, I just don’t go back to it much.
There’s certainly something to respect about these artists keeping these genres alive, though, and the trick that they employ to keep these styles alive is by appealing to a younger audience that may not necessarily be familiar with these kinds of music. I know Laufey got big through TikTok, and she introduced jazz to Gen Z, especially being that young herself, and that could be why Stephen Sanchez doesn’t have a fully realized or unique sound yet. He’s young, too, but he just needs some time to hone in his sound. If anything, I like the foundation he has, but he just needs to work on making his sound more unique and stick out a bit.

Jiminy by Bear Ghost has been on repeat for me frequently since it released last fall!
Wow, I genuinely was not expecting to like this as much as I did. When I first started listening I was kind of like "Ahh, this kinda sounds like something that would get pretty big as a Tiktok sound for a hot second because someone made a Hazbin Hotel shipping fancam". Kinda got some Will Wood stuff, some Jukebox The Ghost stuff (specifically around the Off To The Races era where they really embraced the Queen comparisons), and I was like, okay i'll probably pretty well enjoy this but nothing especially spectacular here. Then I got to the end of the first song, After Me, The Flood and it had that big glitched out part into Heavy News and I was like. Ohhhhh... OKAY....
I still stand by what I said absolutely though, like especially with Will Wood comparison, specifically like the sort of showtune-like aspects to a lot of the individual tracks on the records, which is probably where the "Tiktok shipping fancam" feeling comes from (see Peas & Love, I feel like that song was carefully designed in a lab to have a bouncy, exciting, decent to well edited video of two characters that hate each other and want each other to die but the fandom desperately needs them to have a moment). It's pretty clear this album wants to be like, somewhat culture critical about the current state of some parts of society, but honestly a lot of the lyrics really fall short of necessarily saying anything particularly interesting about the matter and just come off as pretty juvenile in that regard. Like, Rivers is a Vampire is clearly about high society and excess and sucking out the life from everything and its a great song for sure but its also just like. Yeah you sure did the rich people vampire metaphor again! Which is also another point towards it being very Tiktok consumable. That being said I'm only kind of using "tiktok consumable" as a pejorative here, but it is why I wasn't expecting to enjoy it as much.
Anyway this album has a pretty clear tonal voice here, like the songs do not really dip out of that same, bright, showtune-like quality, so there's not really many moments where the album slows down and takes a break from how hyper it is, which maybe as a full album is not such a good thing, but a lot of these songs individually would be a really great playlist spot.
I'm realizing now that most of this review has sounded like, extremely negative about the whole album, which is funny because so far this is like the most fun I've had listening and catching up with these music asks, I've already listened to the album through like 2 or 3 times and skipped around and re-listened to my fave tracks so. I don't really know what that means for my long term feelings about this album, but as it stands,
I'm feeling a really good 8/10 on this one
if I was pretty drunk and in a great mood I'm sure this album would've hit like 9/10 for me. I'm really into it, I might check out some of Bear Ghost's earlier stuff and see if I'd like it as much.
Fave songs: After Me, The Flood, Heavy News, Rivers is a Vampire, Big Town Banky Blaine’s Rockabilly BBQ, The Mario Cliché, When I’m Dead, Vulture

2023 Wonka movie and Clara Oswald for the reverse ask game?
for this ask game!
Wonka 2023
i like the wonka prequel. i don't love it, i don't think it's good, but i like it. if charlie and the chocolate factory wasn't my special interest, i think i would have watched it once, thought it was silly but a good time, and moved on. if the character wasn't supposed to be willy, i would even say he's a perfect fantasy family christmas movie protagonist. but alas, it's poorly written, has horrific acting, and worst of all, the most outdated body-shaming jokes i've seen since the early 2000s. that being said, i do genuinely listen to some of the songs regularly because they're fun and sweet and a simple escape from... everything that's happening in my life right now. it captures (some of) willy's characteristics well, in a blinding innocence/cover-the-hurt-with-humour sort of way that makes sense for a prequel. it gave me noodle who is an interesting charlie parallel and thus gives fuel to my headcanon fire, especially when considering where the hell she is during original canon. it gave me canon slugworth, ficklegruber, and prodnose, something i've been wanting for years. at the end of the day, it gave me more willy wonka content to think and write about, which is the actual only thing that keeps me going so i can't complain.
Clara Oswald
listen. i used to hate clara but it was literally you who convinced me to like her. the thing is, i was a HUGE river/doctor shipper in ye olden days of 2013-2015 as a literal child and found myself in online communities where it was either choose river or clara OR be cyber bullied. river is still one of my favourite dw characters, but now that i've rewatched her episodes as an adult (as recently as yesterday when i was making that gifset), i can see how much she represents a Particular Era of doctor who that truthfully doesn't really hold up. what the fuck does "hell in high heels" mean. meanwhile, clara and the doctor have some true fucked up toxic co-dependency, become one another, two souls intertwined, not platonic not romantic but a secret horrible third thing relationship going on and that has become My Shit. the older i get, the more irredeemable i want my favourite characters to be because it makes them more interesting. don't give me vanilla, don't give me a hero, give me a villain hardened by war. heaven sent favorite episode. That One Edit You Showed Me >>>>>>.
clara/eleventh doctor has no rights though.

Axis and allies with a puppeteer s/o who does shows for kids ♥️ please and thank you
Allies + Axis with a puppeteer S/O
(I think this was asked prior to one of my limited character rules, but please keep in mind to skim over the rules before asking uwu thank you)
Allies:
America:
He thinks it's wicked creepy.
Even if it's for kids
Swears the puppets are slowly stealing the life of the kids
S/O might as well have fun with it
That back fires a little. Once he was the tiny puppet version if himself becomes... involves.
His puppet now must be the hero in the show as well.
Congrats! Now puppets are only 56% creepy...
England
He actually thinks it's sweet.
He use to play puppets with America at one point.
That was until one of them mysteriously crawled in bed with America as a little kid. That snowballed into a lot of tears and screaming that night....
He's glad to see most of the kids enjoying the show.
His S/O can witness England giving his attention to the kids who did find the puppets scary.
Magic tricks and song a longs is his thing, so his S/O can be at rest at events from now on.
France
He's neither here or there.
Thinks the kids reaction is adorable though.
It also doesn't take long for him to sit in the middle of the children as a very involved audience member.
There will be one or two kids sitting in his lap, hiding their face in his cape at the 'Scary dragon' parts.
He may have 'lost' his cape at a couple events because he didn't have the heart to take it from the little sprouts when they thought it was a heros cape.
And yes he gasps dramatically and eggs on the children as well during the show. May have also pretended to cry at some parts.
China
He's no stranger to stage plays and puppets.
He introduces his S/O to shadow puppets, and is wicked impressive with them as well.
Offers to help with the shows, even if it's with string or hand puppets.
He starts to make shadow boxes and puppets for the more scared kids to play with, making Goofy voices for them.
Oddly enough any recording or photos of him doing so vanish completely...
Russia
Insert happy Russia noises.
Of COURSE he collects puppets, especially from his country.
Some of which seemed cursed but those are the ones he holds the dearest to his heart, seeming them as misunderstood like him.
He has zero problem helping out, but the stage maaay need to be made a little bigger.
Kind of loves being the villian in the stories.
His S/O has since then edited the stories so the villians have a happy ending as well.
The kids flock to him when he gives his stage bow.
Scarf has now become a swing, and Russia a jungle gym.
He will not want to leave so good luck.
Axis
Germany
Tis hand puppet time!
He has kept a puppet that a small girl gave him during his... less that joyful Era.
He let's his S/O hold it ONLY if they are wearing gloves and all lose hair and clothing is tucked away!
He doesn't mind watching the show. It makes him feel nostalgic and childish.
Don't tell anyone he mouths the words after learning the scripts
Doesn't know what to do with the kids who are creeper out by the puppets.
He guesses he's a guardian now?
Once tossed a piece of popcorn at one of the evil villians, and the kids went wild with laughter.
7/10 would like to join events more often.
Italy
Yall thought he'd be scared?
WRONG.
He is a child om the inside and enjoys it more then literally anyone his S/O met.
Loves to help make tiny clothes for the puppets and even makes cute props for the kids.
Has some cute story ideas.
Occasionally joins in or watches over the scared children, distracting them or letting them hide and cling to him.
Sweet baby boy, is sweet.
He will make a very successful attempt at making him and his S/O as puppets.
AND THEY HAVE MAGNETS IN THEIR HANDS!?
They hold hands now. And will never let go.
Japan
An immediate spewing fountain of puppet history. How their made, the diffeent cultures between countries
S/O has a whole library of ideas and inspiration at their hands
He LOVES watching it with the children, even letting them gasp and hide their faces into his arms.
His S/O has to refrain from breaking character due to the stern and focused look he has during the show.
Make him as a puppet, PLEASE
It will be the guardian of his anime figurines from then on out.

Ive been watching you and Bea go back and forth making each other rank Taylor albums and Im going to miss it SO MUCH Could you two rank the taylor swift tour videos please? I love looking at you guys' takes on things (even if yours are just complimenting every song and Bea is the one who knows how to actually criticise things 💀) love you guys <3 - an anonymous observer😉💗
TYSM :((((( SOBBING LY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! @deprivedmusicaljunkie look we've been percieved ! anon ur slight diss at me for not being able to criticise things is KILLING ME HAHAHHAHAHA (ur right though)
okayy heres my tour ranking (note that there isnt an official tour video for red OR eras so this probs affects my ranking,,, more for red than eras bc i see eras content every single day online anyway)
speak now world tour - okay i may be biased because this is my favourite album,, but even if it wasnt this would be her best tour (in my opinion),, i feel like in her old concerts she was so theatrical, and parts of it kinda looked like a full broadway production,, also the iconic elements like the lyrics on the arm, also shout out to the live album recording of this bc i listen to it soooo much and its amazing and perfect and show stopping etc etc im literally gonna list a bunch of iconic moments right here: THE HAUNTED BELL, the fireworks during dear john, the koi fish guitar with the light up tree, the gold fringe dress (DROP EVERYTHING NOW) the ballgown, just the wholle thing is the best thing i have ever seen
eras tour - this tour actually is killing me with all of the nostalgia watching her sing through and acknowledge all of her old albums and past selves (except debut, rip😔). and i especially love all of the details from past concerts she has (like the fearless spins, the sparkly & koi guitars, the over head hand heart) and also the new visuals for existing tours (like the old taylors in glass cages for rep) AND the visuals for the albums that hadnt been toured before (lover, folklore, evermore, midnights) i just think that she really did her albums justice (again, apart from debut☠️) and its insane that the show is so long 3+ hours
reputation stadium tour - karyn the snake is the coolest thing ive ever seen. also the ready for it intro with the hooded bodysuit outfit is ICONIC,,, i love the choreo on this tour, like the part of i did something bad where taylor gets lifted up like a cheerleader (AHHHHHH) and i love the quiet long live / new years day moment on the piano,, its so nice
the red tour - like i said before, there isnt a tour movie for this one so i dont know as much about it, but i loveeee how fun it is, i love the ringleader outift and circus theme for the closing song, we are never ever getting back toghether (my favourite part of the show) and i love the unnecessary hairflips during all too well😭
the 1989 world tour - this tour feels like her biggest one (even though it isnt), its like the most pop artist thing ever, its less theatre-production like than any of her other tours and it feels less personal? that being said its obviously very iconic, im forever obsessed with the wildest dreams/enchanted mashup, and that one out of the woods bodysuit that she only wore once for some reason, + the FOREVER iconic rock version of wanegbt BUT THE WAY THE TOUR MOVIE IS EDITED IS SOOOO ANNOYING LIKE IT SWITCHES TO A DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVE EVERY 2 SECONDS😭 anyway i really do appreciate this tour bc taylor really did give it everything she had, and looking at the miss americana documentary, u can tell it was really hard to have put on that show with what she was going through
fearless tour - this is ranked last but i actually really like this one, its cute. her vocals werent as good as they are currently but idc because this show was so funny,, it had the iconicccc throwing of the red chairs in forever & always and shoudlve said no in the rain!!!!!!!!
