eden has exiled people before. there have been people who have been caught doing not good things ( abusive, contraband ring, association to the angels, etc. ) and eden has had to come together and exile that person to outside of the walls. no matter how beloved they may be within the community. they will lock the person up in a quarantine room inside of medical until the next time eden opens their walls like clockwork, and then walk with the person to ensure that they leave and become exiled.
#headcanon.#eden doesn't just... take in people left and right.#they have to pass a questionnaire; quarantine; and training process.#which is why when it leaked that aiden was a part of the angels group; especially after hal and a few others were tortured by them;#aiden was quickly BANNED.#which also kick starts the inevitable war against the angels because aiden brings the angels to eden's front doors.#and people may think! oh! being outside isn't THAT bad!#but the uglies aren't slow; they're fast; ruthless; and can even stalk their prey before feasting.#and it's SCARY when you are stripped from what little resources you had to begin with at the end of the world.#and its just AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH.

other talent swaps form this au and explanation for each one... idk if im going to do anything serious with it, so consider it just a "what if"
stars of the show:
David Chiem, Ultimate Student;
Min Jeung, Ultimate Motivational Speaker.
David was a curious child, but he lost his spark very fast. He always knew that if he wants to be loved he needs to be the best. In order to be an ideal for everyone and to escape his emotions and feelings, David only studied. In middle school his impressive grades caught attention of XF-ture Tech. They offered him to make a contract and take part in the Ultimate Student exam.
Min was originally one of the Ultimate Student exam participants, but a person form XF-ture Tech who was watching over her noticed that she wants to "save" and help people. They offered her to be a motivational speaker, with them as her manager of course. On the first year of high school Min received the title of the Ultimate Motivational Speaker.
they probably knew each other before the killing game, because they both work with XF-ture.
Teruko Tawaki, Ultimate Zither Player;
Alexander "Xander" Matthews, Ultimate Lucky Student.
After Teruko's brother were adopted, she decided that she will be a musician because music is the only thing left that reminded her of him, along with his handmade zither. She doesn't trust people much because they had always left her. Teruko says it's just her luck.
Xander's family died when he was a child, but he couldn't accept this and ran away from his town, so he never had a proper home since then. He wholeheartedly believes that he should've died instead, but he can't because things will never go as he wants. Xander's wounds are always open, no matter how long ago he got them.
Ace Markey, Ultimate Bowler;
Arei Nageishi, Ultimate Jockey.
All of Ace's siblings already took other sports, and he believes that he will never be as good as them. But bowling was Taylor's favorite sport, which inspired him a lot. After his friend's death, Ace started to take out all of his anger when playing. Who could've knew that it will make him the best?
All in Arei's family were jockeys, so she had to be one too to fit in. This made her life even worse, but she wanted to destroy her sisters lives by becoming the best and ruining their careers. And she did exactly that. But was it really worth it?
Charles Cuevas, Ultimate Plastic Surgeon;
Rose Lacroix, Ultimate Personal Stylist.
Charles saw how his brother died, and even though he doesn't remember anything about him, he still has the same feeling he had when he saw Elliot's face- he couldn't even tell if it was him anymore. Charles neglected everything that he didn't need for being a plastic surgeon just so others would never had that feeling.
Because Rose's family owns a hair salon, she had always been in the fashion world. She remembers all looks that she ever saw. Her ability to read people by the clothes that they wear helps her a lot, since she can't remember anything besides the visual part.
Hu Jing, Ultimate Art Forger;
Eden Tobisa, Ultimate Matchmaker.
Hu has problems with proving herself to others. She was interested in art, but she think of herself as "the worst in the world in a thing that I can do the best". Because of that she decided that people would see her as worthy enough if she copies others. Hu is ashamed of her talent, but it's still the only thing she's good at.
Eden believes that Love is the most important feeling in the world, so she wants to help other people find it. However, she can never find her Love herself. Eden doesn't like to think about it, so she only thinks about others.
Levi Fontana, Ultimate Pet Therapist;
Arturo Giles, Ultimate Rebel.
Levi decided to work with animals because they don't have weird secret social rules that people do. His family hated animals, though. It's good they're not here to spread hate anymore, right?
Arturo's parents were physically (towards him) and emotionally (towards Felicity) abusive. He ran away and never came back, leaving his sister alone with shitty parents and bullies at school, which completely destroyed her. Felicity wrote a letter to her brother and after committed suicide. Blaming himself for this, Arturo decided that he won't let something like this happen again. But in the end of the day he is still just a coward running away from his problems, isn't he?
Veronika Grebenshchikova, Ultimate Chemist;
J Moreno, Ultimate Clockmaker.
Chemistry is fascinating for Veronika. It's not boring- there's so many different reactions, so many things to explore. Her speciality is poisons, because everything about them is just amazing. Veronika seems to have a lot of burns. Wonder why.
J doesn't want to be associated with show business at all. Making and restoring clocks is calming, it has mechanisms that she loves, she can forget about everything when she works and no one sees her.
Whit Young, Ultimate Horror Fanatic;
Nico Hakobyan, Ultimate Effect Artist.
After Whit's mother died, he couldn't accept the reality, so he tried many things to escape it, but the only thing that helped him is Horror, because scenes in them overlay Whit's memories about his mother. But they are still deep inside, aren't they?
Nico doesn't like to be in public, so they work behind the scenes. It's better when no one sees them. And even though they still have to talk with performers, Nico knows that they probably won't see each other in person ever again. How long can they hide?
I just realized I made Xanvid Terumin omg it was not intentional I swear 😭😭 anyway I hope you liked it. should I post more about this au? I lied when I said I won't to anything serious with this btw. or not.
that's it yeah byeee

So, I got an idea for a request, an Au with Adam as Demeter, the Greek G̶o̶d̶d̶e̶s̶s̶ God of agriculture.
So this takes place right after the whole Lucifer and Lilith Incident. Adam is left reeling from the betrayal of his first friend (yeah "friend") and his other half. The angels tell him that they will make him a new companion, but he doesn't want a replacement, he wonders what he did to deserve them both leaving him (developing those abandonment issues already, I see).
But with a sudden great and mighty crack of thunder and lightning, Adam disappears from Eden and appears in Mount Orthys. He is found by Rhea, who is tired of all her kids haven been eaten by her husband Kronos and decided to take him in, before being found out and promptly being eaten whole, joining the others (except Demeter because she doesn't exist and is replaced by Adam) in Kronos stomach even though he's not thier sibling.
Back in Eden, the entirety of Heaven is freaking out because the first man is just gone. He's nowhere in Eden. He just disappeared under their noses. Once they
calm down, decide since they already made Eve as a replacement for Lilith, they can just make a replacement for Adam. Using Eve's rib, they create Steve and erase Adam and Lilith from history, their titles of first man and woman now belonging to Eve and Steve.
When Lucifer breaks into Eden, he succeeds convincing Eve to bite the apple, but when he tells her to give it to Adam as well (definitely not because he's a yandere for him and is his top priority), Eve asks who Adam is.
Eve: Adam? Who is that?
Lucifer: ...Adam? You know the first man??
Eve: You mean my husband Steve! He's the first man, not whoever this 'Adam' is
Lucifer:....what.
*I've already thought of more scenarios with this Au, but this is already pretty long, so i'll stop it here
Now, you kinda need to give me more, but this is beautiful. I love the idea of Adam becoming a God. Rhea slowly feeds him a special salve that turns him immortal. And while technically he is Adam, the god of agriculture and farming. He also had another name that he went by. The Reaper. It's where the scythe originated from. He reaps the fields and it's up to him on whether you have plentiful food or a drought that year.
He came across Persephone and immediately adopted her as his own once he saw how innocent she was to the world. She reminded him so much of Lucifer of someone he once knew but he couldn't put his finger on it.
She was creative with Spring. Such beautiful flowers came from her. The angels may have may have made the earth, but the gods were what kept it going. Kept it from dying. The angels in Heaven thought that they did a good job making the world and the universe but it was Adam's family that kept it from perishing. He had a family in the gods. They treated Adam as one of their own.
Until one day, Persephone gets kidnapped and taken to Hell. Adam is on a war path. He will find his daughter and the gods are backing him up.
The entirety of Hell shakes and splits open as twelve-foot-tall people radiating power and light storm in, all wielding weapons that, despite not being angelic weapons, are powerful enough to kill sinners.
They will find Persephone.
Meanwhile, Lucifer soon catches wind of these godly beings and goes to confront them. He sees Adam for the first time since the dawn of Eden and nearly has a heart attack. Adam. The first man. He was back.

YANDERE SEUNG EUN HAN(JOHAN SEONG) HEADCANONS
I feel so bad for what he has to go through, he does NOT deserve whatever he has to go through
You'd meet Johan Seong when his dog Eden would run off from him as usual. He was hunting for Eden as usual when he spotted him with you, you were petting his head and stroking his ears as Johan smiled softly to himself, glad to see that Eden was okay and he struck up a conversation with you. The two of you would talk for a while and Johan would be lying if he said he didn't like your company. He actually liked spending time with you and wanted to spend more time with you, which was something he didn't feel since a long time. He wants to know more about you however his mind will be telling him to cool it for the time being. He's quite disappointed even when he doesn't show it that you have to leave, he wishes he could spend more time with you and get to know you better
He wouldn't exactly fall in love at first sight, he doesn't believe in the whole love at first sight thing and has a rather logical outlook on the world. With his mom's blindness and his decreasing sight, he knows the only way to survive in the world is if he gets stronger and has power. Falling in love was the last thing he'd ever wanted, so why was his heart racing wildly against his chest and his face felt warm and flushed whenever he kept seeing you? Perhaps he was getting sick...that could be the reason, he isn't supposed to fall in love. He'll keep denying his feelings for you at first but when he sees you with someone else he'll get really cranky and annoyed. Why the HELL are you hanging with some other random dude when you have him by your side? Is this a way of telling him that he's not good enough for you or something? You should have known you're supposed to be by HIS side since the day you've met Eden and him
He has abandonment issues and trust issues, a LOT. He'll do extensive research on your likes and dislikes and your personality and he'll have your habits memorized too. He literally BLENDS in with the shadows of the night which makes it easier for him to stalk you and tail you whenever you're going back to your house. He'll end up breaking into your house as well at some point maybe when you're away or something. He'll take in every single detail of your room and ensure Eden doesn't mess up your room. His eyes will land on the pictures of you with your friends and his expression will darken slightly. He doesn't care if they're people from your past but he does hope you're in contact with them any longer, else he'll have to make a few house calls
He'll take a few 'souvenirs' for himself as well, not major things which you would realize would be missing, small things like your pens, pencils, your favorite lip gloss so he can imagine what it would be like to kiss those beautiful soft lips of yours...He has insecurities as well, he's worried you'll leave him like everyone else one day and that can't happen. The thought of losing you scares him, he can't lose you. He gets annoyed when someone else tries to steal you away from him, it just pisses him off to the core. Once you've left, he'll deal with that pest immediately by breaking their bones or just straight up murdering them. He shows NO mercy to those lousy scumbags who want to take you from him. The other day while you were speaking to one of the guys from your school, you didn't realize he was being too flirty with you and touchy with you, you failed to observe the slightly perverted look in his eyes but someone noticed it all right. A certain brown haired guy who always followed you around noticed it from the shadows, dressed in his usual black hoodie, white shirt and red sweatpants as his fists clenched till his nails dug into his skin
After you left, Johan followed the guy back to his house and just as he was about to enter his house, he grabbed him by his hair and dragged him to the back of the alley nearby and slammed him against the wall as he warned him in a ominous tone to stay the hell away from you as he beat him unconscious to a bloody pulp. If he decides to ignore his words, he could always pay a night visit to get rid of him permanently. You have to hand it to him, he's determined when he wants to be. When he's determined to make you his in every way and manner possible, you better believe he's willing to do whatever the HELL it takes for that to happen. At frist he'll cleverly isolate you from your friends with slight emotional manipulation and guilt tripping from his side till you realize what's happening and it'll be too late for you to do anything
Due to his insecurities and fears and all the immense paranoia of losing you, he'll kidnap you quicker than expected
You'll wake up in his house and you'll be confused why Eden is with you, nuzzling his head against your hand. Johan would just calmly walk into the room and tell you what he did with a stoic look on his face while you'll be freaking out and panicking at what happened. He'll be slightly annoyed with you panicking, why are you getting scared? He's doing this for your own good, he's protecting you and saving you from every single thing that could potentially harm you. You should be glad, but he'll feel slightly bad when he sees you crying. He'll let out a soft sigh and grumble slightly as he'll wipe your tears with his thumb and caress your cheek softly and lovingly as he'll make some food for you. Don't think of abstaining yourself from eating or starving yourself, he'll just make you sit on his lap and feed you as he shoves mouthfuls of food into your mouth. You're eating one way or another and he'll make sure of that even if he has to FORCE you to eat and take care of yourself
He's closed off and stoic around other people but he's like a hurt innocent child when he's around you. He feels like he can trust you, you've managed to tear down those barriers and walls caging his heart so it's a big deal when he starts telling you his feelings. When you hold him for the first time and hug him, it takes him all his will power and self control not to just tear up in your arms. He'll sigh in content as he'll pull you closer to him and bury his face in the nape of your neck. Yeah, whatever plans you've had afterwards will have to wait because once you're in his arms he'll refuse to let you go, clinging onto you like a leech or moss on the bottom of a rock
Did I mention he was incredibly clingy too? He NEEDS to be around you, he'll hug you from behind whenever you're doing something. Even when you're sleeping he doesn't let you be, he'll be the big spoon as he pulls you closer to him to cuddle with you and he feels like he's protecting you from something. Just humor him unless you want to deal with him being sulky, grumpy and annoyed for the rest of the day. Literal embodiment of a puppy sometimes, with murderous pent up rage. Growing up, he didn't really have a lot of attention. He always had to shoulder responsibilities and he just needs someone to tell him they're proud of him and show him some affection. Even the slightest touch from you will send his mind into an overdrive and he'll start blushing and become flustered. He likes it when you pet his head and he likes giving you kisses on your head and your hand or nuzzling his cheek against yours. See, he does have his soft moments at times. He might not be able to afford really fancy and expensive stuff given with his mom's eye surgery but he's willing to buy and make small things for you to see you smile. Besides, it's the thought and the actions that counts more than the gifts in his opinion
Don't escape from him for both of your sakes. If he returns back to find you gone, his dread and paranoia will start to settle in as he realizes his worst fear of losing you is coming true. However he'll compose himself as he's determined to find you no matter what. He'll have Eden track you down by identifying your scent and you can be DAMN sure he'll lead Johan to you. Johan will give you an icy glare as he drags you back home. Scream, kick, cry he doesn't care, he will not put up with your little temper tantrums. He won't hurt you physically but he'll yell at you for leaving him with tears running down his face, angry and hurt that you've betrayed him and he'll start with the guilt tripping of how Zack, his mother, everyone left him and how people like Gun took advantage of him to tug at your heart strings
It will be quite a long time for him to trust you again. He'll calm down eventually but that doesn't mean you're off the hook either. He'll punish you by taking away your favorite items and FORCE you to cuddle with him every day till he's satisfied. You'll have to deal with him being suspicious and sulky for a while because of your little escape attempt. Every night he'll whisper in your ear about how you'll never be able to leave him. He doesn't feel guilty or bad even in the slightest that he's abducted you, he feels like it was necessary, you're HIS and only his. He's usually gentle and soft spoken towards you too. Under NO circumstances would he let you join God Dog, he doesn't want you fighting and getting hurt
He won't take it lightly when someone tries to take you from him. He'll deal with them quickly sending them to their literal death no matter who it is. He gets quite insecure of his eyes at times but his heart would melt when you comfort him about them which fuels his possessiveness towards you even more. Ultimately at the end of the day he just wants to come back to you, hug you and hold you in his arms and love you. Is that TOO much to ask?

P.2 HH Lucifer-centric AU 26/?
STORY 1, PART 1, PART 2, PART 3, PART 4, PART 5, PART 6, PART 7, PART 8, PART 9, PART 10, PART 11, PART 12, PART 13, PART 14, PART 14.5, PART 15, PART 16, PART 17, PART 18, PART 19, PART 20, PART 21, PART 22, PART 23, PART 24, PART 25, PART 27
I wish this was longer but death goes by faster than you think.
------------------------------------------
Lucifer thought it was a myth, you know, the idea that life flashes before your eyes when you're dying.
But as he recalls everything that happened since the beginning beginning, he wonders if he is reliving it all in a loop. Can a memory experience it as well? Can a memory exist within a memory? He doesn't know if he's just a copy of a copy, and that thought terrifies him.
But this feels real. Dying, that is.
Roo: You were always so arrogant.
A voice echoed somewhere. It was Roo, appearing suddenly like she always does.
Arrogant or misunderstood? Lucifer replied internally, voice laced with a hint of weariness.
Roo: Does it matter now? You're dying, fallen. Even you cannot cheat fate.
Oh Father, this is really happening. He's really going to die; just when he found new people to care about, someone to love again, and reconnected with his daughter—he's going to leave them. Leave Alastor. The Sins. God, Charlie.
He wants to spend the rest of eternity making her happy. He wants to tell her more stories of his good times in Heaven and Eden. To teach her how to properly use her powers. To watch her fulfill her dreams. Damn it, he wants to see her get married. To walk her down the aisle. To welcome Vaggie to their family. He wants to be there for every laugh, every tear, every triumph, and every setback. He longs to witness every precious moment of her life unfold.
It'snotfairIt'snotfair!It'snotfairIt'snotfair!It'snotfairIt'snotfair!It'snotfairIt'snotfair!
He wants to spend one more moment with Alastor. To kiss him. To hug him and never let go. He wants to find another stupid Marigold in every corner for him to find. He wants to hear Alastor's voice, to share in his laughter, to feel the warmth of his presence. He wants to be selfish and let Hell be destroyed—just please, 'Dad, please I just want to live one more day!'
He yearns to see Earth's sun rise one more time, to feel its warmth on his face as he sits on it's grassy plains. To share another meal, another conversation, another fleeting second of joy. He wants to hold onto the fragile, beautiful moments that made life now worth living. The thought of leaving now, of abandoning this newfound happiness, is unbearable. He’s desperate, clawing at the very fabric of existence for one more chance, one more breath, one more heartbeat.
How will Alastor learn to love again? How will the Sins cope with losing the person who raised them, who gave them their everything? How will Charlie-
How will Michael and the others...
But it's not them who he calls out to. Because he's also once a child. And like a child in their time of need, he calls out to his father.
'Father! Please! I need you! Don't let them take me yet, DAD PLEASE!'
Lucifer wants to scream it all out, but he only spits out blood as the sword of his older brother impales him right in his heart. For a moment, he thinks it is Michael holding the sword—that he has betrayed him again.
The relief he feels when he realizes it is the exorcist who just stabbed him almost makes him forget what's happening.
Almost.
Lute pushes the sword further into him and twists it. Shit! It hurts like a bitch. He could probably destroy her now, but he's honestly too shocked to do anything. He's frozen in place, but his entire body is shaking.
Roo: This is it, fallen.
The battlefield is chaos and screams, but he can't hear any of it—only a dark, broken laugh from Lute.
Roo: Make them pay for it.
Her eyes are pure black now, and Lucifer knows that there's only a sliver of sanity left in her. They are both dying here today.
One way or another.
They don't move and it feels like an eternity before he finds the strength to speak without coughing blood.
Lucifer: Exorcist.
Lute: What? Here to say your last words?
He ignores her taunts and keeps his voice calm.
Lucifer: Tell me again. What is your name?
She digs the weapon deeper and gets all up in his face. If she had more control of her mind, she would not answer and would spit in the devil's face. But she's losing it.
So she answers.
Lute: I am Lute. Leader of the exorcists. The first man's former lieutenant. The angel who just rid the world of the devil.
It's funny, really. Getting killed by Michael's sword wielded by an angel named Lute. Guess that part about "the instrument of Heaven will be the Devil's slayer" bullshit in the prophecy was spot on.
It's funny so he laughs.
He feels himself slipping away and Roo clawing her way up. There's a distinct sound of cracking, and he sees that it's his skin breaking apart like he's a porcelain doll. But he pays it no mind.
Lucifer: I have to congratulate you, Lute.
Lute: Oh yeah? Why's that?
His laughter fades, replaced by a somber tone.
Lucifer: See. I may have damned humanity.
Her eyes narrow, suspicion mingling with her fading sanity.
Lucifer: But you. Ohhhhh you.
He continues, a dark smile tugging at his lips.
Lucifer: You've just damned Heaven.
Then.
Then, the light fades from Lucifer's eyes as life slips away, and his body slumps against his brother's blade.
He's glad to have at least something familiar for comfort.
Someone calls the angel's name that made her pull the sword out of him and jump back.
The devil falls to the ground, motionless. And for a moment, everything is quiet, and then—
'Finally. I can sleep.'
What happens after is a cautionary tale.
------------------------------------------
So.
I'm sorry?
This was always how this was going to go.
Also one more update before this is done!
Please let me know what you guys think! I'd love to hear your comments <3
Do you guys think this is entire AU was just Luci's life flashing before him?

Idk if you're up for writing angsty shit with the prompts, but I got some for you ✨
“I fucking hate you.” “No you don’t. Take that back right now.”
“I want to believe you, but I don’t know if I can.”
“Fuck, you’re such a wreck, and because of me, too.”
“Who’s laughing now?” “…Clearly not you. You’re crying, dear God.”
My thoughts/ideas: Adam was deeply hurt by both his wives (who were made for him) cheating on him with Lucifer, and is scared of being close to people in fear of being left behind again. Luci jokingly saying he hates him after they've been dating for a while (weeks? months? up to you) sets him off really bad, and makes him scared Luci doesn't actually care about him.
You're free to leave out any of the prompts if there's too many, or add more if you want to, I'm just curious to see what you make of this and always love to get some more angsty feels :D
Indigo (loves your writing)
Oooou thank you for this! Feed me with more angsty prompts! 😈
Gotta make that babies suffer lol
"I fucking hate you." It was meant to be a joke, Lucifer thought his tone of voice even conveyed that when he spoke the words. Though, when he turned to look at Adam, his face dropped when he saw the very real hurt on his boyfriends face.
Adam's chest felt tight, like he couldn't breathe. He hated him? They've been dating for six months now and the devil didn't even like him, was he just wasting his time? "No you don't, take it back right now." He voice wobbled and he cursed himself, fuck it shouldn't hurt this bad but it felt like he was just gutted by a few mere words. "I thought, I thought you loved me. Or were those more lies!" Adam didn't have to put up with this.
"I do-, Adam! Adam, come on come back." Lucifer chased after his boyfriend as he stormed away from him. He didn't miss the water that lined those golden eyes. "I'm sorry! It was just a joke. I do love you! Duckie, please."
"Don't you duckie me, asshole!" Adam just had to make it to his room and lock the fucking door. He should have known he was only being used, that he was nothing more than a plaything for the king to throw away when he got bored. A tear fell from his eye and he roughly got rid of it. Fuck, he didn't want to cry. "I should have known you're just a fucking liar!"
Everyone leaves, no one has ever wanted him. He might have said that Lucifer was the most hated being in all of creation, but clearly it was him. All people do is leave and hurt him. How could he have been so fucking stupid to think that maybe, MAYBE, he found a slice of happiness with the devil here in Hell.
Adam grunted as he was pushed into the wall, Lucifer holding him in place by his arms. "I'm not lying! Adam, I do love you I always fucking have."
He's lying, his mind screamed and Adam felt his damn lip quiver. He only wants to fuck you to check it off his list, he knew you'd be easy enough to sway. Then there was the smaller part of him that was whispering under everything. Luci saved your life, of course he loves you.
"I want to believe you, but I don't know if I can." Adam felt so conflicted, after everything they had been through they had managed to hold onto the positives and give dating a shot.
"I shouldn't have said that. I'm eternally sorry. You know I would never leave you right? You're too important to me." Lucifer confessed, he could see the war raging in those beautiful golden eyes. How could he have fucked this up so bad, everything was going great until he said that. He knew Adam had abandonment issues since Eden, hell he's the one that fucking gave them to him!
Adam couldn't stop the onslaught of tears that broke free and rolled down his face. No wonder he hates you, who would want a sniveling little bitch like you? Not a king that's for fucking sure. "Important? Like I've ever meant anything to you!" Adam sobbed his throat closing with emotion. Fuck, he shouldn't be crying!
"You mean everything to me!" Lucifer cupped his face. "Fuck you're such a wreck and because of me too. I'm so sorry."
"Ha! Jokes on you, I was a wreck before all of this! Who's laughing now?"
"Clearly not you, you're crying. Dear god, what have I done?" Lucifer said that last part more to himself. He pulled Adam down into a bruising kiss, he wanted to convey all of his emotions for the sinner in a single kiss.
Adam gasped, he felt his tongue enter his mouth, a hand in his hair keeping him in place. Against his better judgement, Adam melted into the kiss returning it, his hands gripping the king's shoulders. His heart fluttered when he felt himself get picked up, his legs instantly wrapped around his boyfriends waist.
The cruel voice in his head died away.
When the kiss ended, Adam was panting as he looked into those red and yellow eyes glowing bright, boring into his own. Fuck he loved him. The devil was going to be the untilmate death of him, to shatter his heart and put it back together again over and over.
And Adam would let him. Like an idiot.
"I love you so much, Adam. Let me make it up to you." Lucifer never wanted to hurt him. He would fight all of Heaven and Hell if it meant they could be together.
Another tear fell. "How?" Another kiss pressed to his lips, more after that. The king was a drug Adam didn't want to quit.
"How about we go see that movie you wanted? And then, we can get dinner at that new meat place across town. We could even go to the mall and I could get you that guitar you've had your eyes on. Maybe do more shopping after? Anything you want, darling." He placed another kiss on Adams lips and smiled when he got one back. "I never want you to doubt my love for you again. I love you, duckie."
Adam smiled, his heart was doing flips and his stomach full of butterflies. "I love you too, Luci."
"What do you say? Does that sound good, would you like to do that?"
How could Adam turn it down? "Okay."

I like to add something on angst train. Adam loved deeply Eve,my headcanon after she ate the apple he was on her side and he gave up the eden for her,he could also pass her cheating, they stay together in bad and well. But after they died, despite both living rightful life, Eve didn't get in heaven,Adam yes(he didn't eat the apple and his sacrife for love helped him). This hurt him deeply and give abandonment issue(trust me,my mom still says dad left us, my dad died of cancer,is it not like he choose). So his rage on Lucifer and lilith is more about his ego but the fact they condemn a good woman and they end up living a sweet life.So he hates when lucifer make remake about Eve because Lucifer doesn't understand how much him and Lilith destroy Eve.
Maybe I see to much, but i think it is neat, plus I believe Eve wouldn't be not ally of morning family, I'm 100% sure she wants revenge on them plus Heaven.
This borderlines on real life philosophical questioning but, I really gotta wonder if Lucifer hadn't tempted Eve, would humanity have kept on being sin-free and happy? Would Eve have eventually taken the fruit anyway and Lucifer just made it happen quicker? It's not like Adam and Even didn't know the fruit existed before that.
But yes yes, Adam and Even still being on somewhat good terms, and having had a genuine, loving relationship, is a great headcanon! There's lots of people who draw her and Adam still in a good relationship and it's really cute. I'm still not quite sure what my personal take on that is yet, but I do think they must've had something real! I at least like to think that Adam really did love Eve when they were alive.
Adam being heartbroken about Eve not being in Heaven really hurts tbh. I think she most likely ended up in Heaven, but knowing Hazbin, she could have not lol

DRDT Ep 15 Thoughts and Analysis on The Culprit(HUGE SPOILERS)
Me thinking that Eden was the killer before this episode or thinking that Hu could still be the killer:
Okay so I owe Eden an apology, sorry girlie but at the time you just seemed really suspicious with how you been acting in some areas. Plus evidence at the time. But I also I guess I underestimated Ace here.
I’ll admit that like others, I was one of the people who thought Ace wouldn’t be able to do the murder because of his knowledge. But to be fair, I only thought about it because logically:
How would he commit murder or thought about how Nico’s method work right as he almost died!?
Why would be take the tape?
How did he get the fricken turpentine or take the clothes?
But I guess I didn't take in account of:
He might’ve just pretended to be unconscious longer
He would’ve thought of about the method more after the attempt
The tape was used to bandage his neck
He just stragulated Arei to death since he’s strong enough to do so(even though I'm still confused as shouldn’t he be weak from being malnourished?!) and just needed it look like a suicide to frame Nico.
I guess Eden, Teruko, and Hu left the old clothes alone in the dress up room
Like literally J was me when she said that earlier in the trial and I can't blame her, I thought it made sense too!
But god it still hurts that he’s the killer. I mean I’m going to be honest here y’all…I didn't get super attached to Ace until ep13 as while I did feel bad for him before of almost being murdered, it didn't hit me how bad his situation was…
Ace Markey I think(and this might just me me or controversial take) is the most tragic Danganronpa fangan killer out there with how much his life is tragic in this killing game. From what we got so far, Ace’s life before the killing game wasn't great. He felt like he had no control over it with being force into a career/talent he hates. That he can’t do anything else because he sucks at anything else. Being stuck with being good at his worse fear of horses. And from what we know little about the only person he could ever called his friend(Taylor), it seems that he lost the only person who gave a shit about him while stuck in that life he was given.
He honestly doesn't have anything to really go back to if his life would’ve still been bad, but maybe Ace just wanted to live. To live out of fear of dying young, of dying with noting he achieved that he could be proud of. Of dying alone and having lived an shitty life forced upon him(perhaps from his family) without having a chance to see if it was possible for him to get out of that life and his self sabotaging behavior.
I think the worse part of all of this is how this could’ve been avoided if not for Ace’s environment in the killing game causing this. With said environment being of these individuals:
Teruko(a bit)- If Teruko didn't saying how Ace would probably not make it in this killing game, he probably wouldn't have been starting to be paranoid about this.
Veronika- If Veronika never pointed out that Ace could be killed because of people targeting him for how he’s been of being hot headed and loud mouth, along with encouraging his paranoia. Ace wouldn’t have believe this to be true.
Nico- If Nico didn't take things far and try to kill Ace, rather than just talk to someone about Ace’s behavior towards him to where they could’ve talk it out or someone discipline him(but not kill him of course), then Ace would’ve never had his fears proven true. Nor would he have copied Nico’s murder method and try framing them and Eden (kinda ironic since Nico was trying to frame Hu before Ace did this).
Hu- If Hu would’ve just stop taking sides out of favoritism and cared about stopping Nico and Ace on both of their sides. Ace would’ve never done this nor would Nico. Actually she makes me the most piss at her as she f*cking still defended Nico AFTER THEY TRIED KILLING ACE AND EVEN IN THE TRIAL TOO WHEN THEY ADMITTED TO IT! I'm sorry, but I think this episode and trial made me a Hu hater. I don't hate her enough to want her dead of course, but she makes me furious how much trouble she cause. I hope she reflects from this after Ace is gone.
Arturo(technically)- Im putting him here as if Arturo never tried threatening Eden and causing Arei to bust in to save Eden, Ace would’ve never eavesdrop on them. Thus causing him to try to frame Eden.
David- And David…oh David, I hate the fact I actually believed in you for seeing Arei’s body first and thinking Eden was guilty. I may feel bad you lost Arei, but it's your f*cking fault because you decided to make everyone try to reveal their secrets and that just caused more harm than good. I'm glad that even if it bite him in the butt in the end, I am glad Ace revealed your secret you’re a lying scumbag piece of sh*t. Good luck with losing your career while coping with the fact you lost potentially the only person who ever understood you because you had to know everyone’s secrets :)
Sorry y’all Im just really emotional rn and angry at David and Hu
I think J said it best that with everyone never thought about the breaking point of someone. That maybe they took things too far and failed to prevent this.
But yet that still doesn't accuse murder. Ace knows that of course though and he still feels shitty about it. I'm sure Nico will have to live with the fact that even if they didn't get to kill Ace in the hand by their own hands, they still technically killed him anyways because thanks to their attempt, he got inspired and tried getting back at them because Ace never got the justice of them getting away consequence free. To be comforted and shown concern at the time he needed it most.
I can understand why Ace murder Arei as I feel like while he saw it as a good opportunity to frame two people and get away with it, I think he also did it because of how similar they are. Yet different
Ace knows that Arei wanted to change her ways and be better. With being reached out to by David and Eden, she felt hope that maybe she could be better despite still having doubts she could because of the impossible pillar to reach to be that. But even then, she still felt like she could change after finding out that David is a scumbag like her. Ace however felt that he couldn't change. He already felt like his life couldn't be before and with no one reaching a hand to him in this terrible situation. What else could he do? He can't change his job, his personality, his life…. He has no idea what to do with himself anymore
This got me thinking. Maybe…maybe in another timeline or universe, perhaps if Ace just heard the entire conversation between Arei and David. He could’ve realize it doesn't matter if he is a shitty person or he started out bad in a life he couldn't control. That he can become less shitty if he tried and hey! He’s not alone, Arei and David feels the same way. I think perhaps if Ace didn't jump the gun and killed Arei, she would’ve maybe tried reaching out to Ace. I mean, if she was able to see how David was a shitty person like her, I think she would’ve recognize Ace is too. Arei did take noticed how thanks to David making everyone share their secrets it just caused more trouble, one of the most noticable being Ace and Nico. It pains me thinking how Arei probably could’ve saved Ace if Ace wasn't doomed by everyone else and acted on paranoia. I at least hope before he dies, that maybe either Levi or Eden(god bless you Eden for feeling for him even tho he killed your potential bestie/maybe gf) can make him know that someone at least cared about him and remember his death as it affected them deeply.
Also I'm manifesting Arei and Ace being best friends/besties propaganda. Mostly to cope but also I think Arei would reach out to Ace and maybe in the afterlife, help him be less shitty with her together. Whether may it be for the rest of their afterlife or maybe their next lives💙❤️
I need this content as its going to take me a while to mourn his death and the emotional anguish this chapter put me through.

No, but stay with me for four minutes, yeah? Indulge me, please. Good. Thanks.
Steve is lost. He is so lost after the whole Vecna creep thing, because everything is falling apart. Hawkins is torn into pieces, people are leaving town, and his friends? Max is in a comma, the kids are barely holding up, keeping themselves busy, Nancy doesn't speak to him, Robin is forced by her parents to leave town for college, Jonathan is back in town with his weirdo friend, and so is Hopper, coming back from the fucking dead. Eddie didn't come back from the dead, though. That might have helped with the fact that Dustin is unreachable, he's miles away. Steve knows his heart is in that other fucked up dimension and he can't reach it, he can't fix this problem with his bat, and he can do little more than just to show up, though he's not sure it's doing any good, because the kid ends up crying every time.
Steve doesn't know what his role is anymore. He goes here and there, helping with what he can, but he's fucking lost. He doesn't know how to help. He found his platonic soulmate and she's not there anymore, she left in June. He is not the babysitter because the kids don't need him. He is not the king, hasn't been for a while. He's not a serial dater. He's not a business man like his father.
He is no one, and if he's someone he doesn't know who he is.
In a desperate attempt to make Dustin smile, he takes him to Salt Lake City to see Suzie, to spend a few days with her. He pays for gas, and food and the few nights they stay there, at a nearby hotel. He refuses to take a penny from Claudia.
The worst part is that Dustin is trying to smile, forcing himself to show happy and glad, Steve can see. But those big dorky smiles that always made his eyes shrink? Those smiles don't go anywhere, and it breaks Steve's heart, because the kid is trying, for him.
He sees Suzie for the first time and she's quick, and bright, and funny and pretty much how Dustin described her. Steve likes her immediately, so he chaperones them, and takes them out so they can have a proper date. Suzie's sister is also chaperoning. Eden. He trusts her right away, for some reason. She's nice. She is snarky, witty, always with that vague cloud of annoyance around her. She's pretty, and the whole witch schtick really suits her.
She's not as mysterious or mean as she think she is, though, because he sees how Eden looks at Suzie and there is fondness there. Steve's thinking that he relates to her and that's why he can see the love behind her foul mouthed comments.
They let the kids wander around the mall, they let them being kids, and meanwhile Steve and Eden talk about nothing, and a bit of everything. It is when she mentions how much she wants to get the hell out of Salt Lake City when Steve suddenly realizes that Eden reminds him of Eddie. They look so alike, and Steve's heart skips a beat because the resemblance is uncanny, in every aspect.
God even the name is similar.
Something has switched and Eden has noticed it, and asks Steve what's wrong. And Steve tells her.
Steve tells Eden about Eddie, minus the Upside Down shit, he tells her everything.
What was Eddie like, what he meant to the kids, to Dustin specifically, he talks about his anarchy inclinations, that he was a guitarist and was part of a metal band. He tells her about how he was unfairly treated by his hometown, how he was accused of things he didn't do, and he's both sad and surprised to learn that Eden has heard about him in the news.
When Eden asks how he died, he only tells her that Eddie was protecting Dustin.
Dustin and Suzie are in a tech store comparing and about weird discussing items, Steve and Eden are outside the store, when she comments that it is a very metal way to go. He agrees with a wet whisper, because he's doing everything in his hand to not cry.
Steve is so concentrated that he feels that Eden is putting something in his hand a bit too late. It's a stone. It's pretty, warm. He doesn't know what it means when she says that it'll help him. He doesn't ask, just smiles at her.
And Eden switches the topic and they end up talking about worst times babysitting these fucking kids because they love to get in trouble. They bond. Steve and Eden, he is comfortable with her, and she seems to be, too.
Steve can't take Eddie of his thoughts now, and wonders if their could have had this kind of thing, too, where they bitch about the kids being kids and they cleaning up their messes and swearing not to do it again, but they do it again, and again, and again. He wonders if he's finding Eden pretty just because she somehow feels like Eddie, and that is so unfair to her, but he can't help it.
By the last date they chaperone before Steve and Dustin have to go back to Hawkins, Steve already knows about Eden being a wicca. She practices rituals, and can make tarot readings, and all. Steve always thought that it was nonsense that he couldn't fully understand, he was never into it. But then Eden offers to make a tarot reading for him, and Steve sees Dustin and Suzie cuddling in their picnic blanket, stargazing, and he thinks why not.
He doesn't know anything anymore. He feels open to new things, and he trusts Eden. It's a fact that he doesn't need to understand shit for it to happen, anyways.
Steve fidgets with the stone in his pocket when he agrees, and Eden asks Steve to ask the deck for an answer, and he wonders about himself, about who he is, and then Eden puts some cards in front of him and talks about his past, his present and his future, according to the cards. And the thing is, that it is pretty accurate when it talks about the past, he relates to what she says. He can see it, know what she's talking about. Things she couldn't possibly know, they are not that close.
He is intrigued, and invested, and asks her more things about the deck, how it works, how she knows what they say. She tells her what she knows, which is not really enough, but he's happy to hear her talk, so convinced. Talks about a manual she learnt everything from and she can't possibly place where it is now. She's in her element and then Steve realizes he's going to miss her, and thinks that next time he's bringing Robin because they might get along well.
They part ways that night, and they hug tight, and he hugs Suzie, too. She has the audacity to apologize for having to spend so much time with his meanest sister. Eden calls her little shit, and he sees Eddie in her again, and he laughs.
Yeah, he's definitely going to miss her.
Dustin is in a very much better mood now. He even smiles that way it reaches to his eyes.
They go back home, and they take a break in a service area. There are books and toys and souvenirs there.
He buys a tarot deck and brings it home. He sets it in his night stand, and over it, it rests Eden's stone.

Supernatural (Dean Winchester x Female!Reader
What Is And What Should Never Be
Masterlist
*3rd Person POV*
Dean was driving down the road when his cell phone rings. "Yeah?" He said once he answers his phone. "There's a cop car outside." (Y/n) replied as her and Sam look out the window of the motel room to see a cop car outside.
"You think it's for us?" Dean asked her. "I don't know." She said, a bit nervous "I don't see how. I mean we ditched the plates, the credit cards." Dean said just as the cop car drives away. "They're leaving. False alarm." (Y/n) said, relieved. "Well, see. Nothing to worry about." Dean said.
"Yeah, being fugitives? Frigging dance party." She said with sarcasm and he chuckles a bit as (y/n) and Sam stand in front of a table, covered in books abouta specific demon called Djinn, and on top of them is John's journal, open on the same subject.
"So you got anything yet?" She asked Dean. "Are you kidding me? How could I? You and Sam got me sifting through like 50 square miles of real estate here." Dean said. "Well, that's where all the victims disappeared." She replied.
"Yeah well, I got diddly-squat. What about you guys?" Dean asked. "Just one thing. We're pretty sure of it now." (Y/n) said as she pulls one book closer. "We're hunting a Djinn." She said. "A freaking genie?" Dean asked, shocked. "Yeah." She said.
"What? You guys think these suckers can really grant wishes?" Dean asked. "I don't know. I guess they're powerful enough. But not exactly like Barbara Eden in harem pants. I mean, Djinn have been feeding off people for centuries. They're all over the Koran." she said. "My God. Barbara Eden was hot, wasn't she? Way hotter than that Bewitched chick." Dean said and (y/n) sighs, exasperated.
"Are you even listening to me?" She asked, annoyed, then he clears his throat. "Yeah. So uh, where do the Djinns lair up?" He asked. "Ruins usually. Uh. Bigger the better – more places to hide." She replied. "You know, I think I saw a place a couple miles back. I'm gonna go check it out." Dean said. "Wait – no, no, no, no, no. Come pick us up first." (Y/n) said.
"Naw, I'm sure it's nothing. I just wanna take a look around." Dean said and he hangs up the phone. (Y/n) lowers her hand with the phone in it and sighs while Sam gives her a concerned look.
The Impala pulls up and almost comes to a stop in front of an old factory. Dean gets out then enters the factory, with a flashlight, swinging open a creaky door. He walks through what appears to be an abandoned office, with typewriter, file cabinets, etc. There's a dripping water sound, but otherwise it appears empty to him.
He looks back and forth in it a few times, and then starts walking back the same direction he came from but this time in the hall. On his right, among all the old things but what Dean doesn't know is that a figure, nearby, is watching him. He doesn't see it and walks on.
Suddenly, it attacks him, pinning him against the window wall. Dean drops the flashlight and the Djinn slams Dean's right hand up against a wall, forcing him to drop his knife.
The Djimm opens its left hand, which begins to glow blue, at the same time that the its eyes begin glowing. The Djimm puts its glowing hand on Dean's forehead and Dean's eyes roll up, and take on a faint blue hue.
Dean wakes up, bare-chested, and wearing a necklace that is not the amulet. He looks around to see a tv was on, playing some old movie. Then he looks to his left to see a nude woman lying next to him, but she had her back to him. He leans over to get a look at her, only to be shocked when he sees that the woman was (y/n).
He gets up, quickly, then looks around for a moment before he goes to get dressed and begin to walk around the apartment.
Sam, in another location, gets a phone call on his cell. He sees it's Dean and looks a little worried. "Dean?" Sam answered. "Sam?" Dean said, worried. "What's going on?" Sam asked. "I don't know. I don't know where I am." Dean said.
"What? What happened?" Sam asked, concerned. "Well, the uh, the Djinn. It attacked me." Dean replied. "The gin? You're...drinking gin?" Sam asked, confused. "No, asshat. The Djinn. The...scary creature. Remember? It put its hand on me and then I woke up...next to (y/n), who was with you..." Dean said and Sam furrows his brow in confusion.
"Why would (y/n) be with me?" Sam asked, confused. "Because you guys were doing research on the Djinn!" Dean exclaims and Sam laughs alittle. "Dean, you're drunk. You're drunk-dialing me." He said. "I am not drunk. Quit screwing around!" Dean growls at him.
"Look, it's late. All right, just get some sleep and, um, I'll...see you tomorrow. OK?" Sam said. "Wait, Sam! Sam!" Dean pleads but Sam hangs up, and flips his phone down, laughing a little. He sighs and slams shut a book he was reading.
Dean puts his phone back in his pocket, frustrated, and looks around. He sees an envelope, and picking it up, sees that it is addressed to:
(Y/n) (l/n)
53 BARKER AVE
LAWRENCE, KS 66044
"Lawrence?" He said, confused, then he looks at two more envelopes, which were addressed to him with the same address as (y/n)'s. "What the hell?" He mutters, confused.
"Dean?" A voice asked and Dean spins around to see (y/n) standing by the bedroom doorway, wearing a bathrobe. "What are you doing?" She asked as she starts to walk over to him. "Hey, (y/n), uh, I just uh..." he stammers and she smirks a bit at this.
"Does this mean I win?" She asked, smiling, and Dean looks at her confused. "Oh, now don't pull that crap on me, Winchester. We had a bet, remember? You made me watch that horror movie and said if one of us wakes up in the middle of the night first, the other gets to pick date night." She said and Dean gives a slight shake of his head.
"Yeah, yeah....sorry, it's just the dream I had was...pretty bad...couldn't go back to sleep." he said as he laughs, nervously. "Aww, my poor big, strong man." She said in a teasing tone as she walks up to him and places her hand on his chest. "Well, why don't you come back to bed and let's see if I can do anything to help." She said, in a seductive tone, which really made Dean go weak at the knees a bit. You have no idea how long I've wanted you to say something like that. He thought.
"Sure. Yeah. In a minute. You - you, you go ahead." He said and she smiles. "OK. Don't stay up too long." She said to him. "No." Dean said and (y/n) leans up and kisses him, warmly. As Dean kisses her back, he felt his heart leaping in his chest as this was something he had been waiting for for a long time. But something in the back of his mind was telling him that this isn't right.
They break the kiss and she walks back to the bedroom. Dean, meanwhile, goes to a bookshelf and sees a photo of (y/n), and another of him and (y/n) embracing. Then a picture, which made Dean's eyes widen, of the couple with (y/n)'s parents. He turns and sees something else shocking, he picks up another photo, and drops it, the glass shattering as it breaks. Dean turns on his heel and leaves the room.
He drives up in the Impala across the street. He shuts off the engine and goes over to his old house from his childhood. Dean begins banging on the door then rings the bell two times as well. The porch light turns on and the door opens. "Dean." Mary said, concerned. Dean just stares at her a few seconds, not believing his eyes. "Mom?" He said, his voice breaks almost like he's on the verge of crying.
"What are you doing here? Are you all right?" Mary asked, concerned. "I don't know." Dean said. "Well...come inside." She said and she steps aside and let's him in. "(Y/n) just called and said you just...took off all of a sudden." Mary said as she closes the door but Dean can't take his eyes off of her.
"(Y/n)? Right....Let me ask you a question. When I was a kid, what did you always tell me when you put me to bed?" He asked her. "Dean, I don't understand -" Mary said, confused. "Just answer the question." Dean said, with a hard tone. "I told you angels were watching over you." She replie and Dsan stares at her. "I don't believe it." He said and he walks over and hugs her tightly.
"Honey, you're scaring me." Mary said and Dean backs off. "Now just tell me what's going on." She said, worried. "You don't think that wishes can, can really..." Dean mutters. "What?" Mary asked. "Forget it." Dean said and he hugs her again. "Forget it. I'm just uh...I'm happy to see you, that's all." He said as he almost starts crying but pulls it together and releases the hug, looking down on Mary.
"You're beautiful." He said and he laughs a little. "What?" She asked, laughing. "Hey, when I was uh...When I was young was there ever a fire here?" He asked as he walks towards the wall, looking at the books and pictures. "No. Never." She replied.
"I thought there was." Dean said, slightly confused, then he sees a picture of John and Mary smiling with Dean and Sam as little kids in front of them. "I guess I was wrong." He mutters as he sees a picture of him, as a kid, in a cap, looking cool into the camera. Another picture of Dean and his prom date, clearly taken at prom.
Another of Sam as a graduate then another of picture Dean, Sam and (y/n) as teenagers. Dean picks up another picture, which is a black and white photo of John, dressed in baseball clothes with a cap and a baseball bat in his hand, ready to swing, smiling at the camera.
"Dad's on a softball team." Dean mutters to himself then he turns around, to see Mary looking at him, seriously. "Dad's...Dad's softball team. It's...That's funny to me." Dean said and Mary smiles, fondly. "He loved that stupid team." She said and Dean took notice of that. "Dad's dead? And the thing that killed him was a..." Dean said.
"A stroke. He died in his sleep. You know that." Mary finished for him. "That's great." Dean said. "Excuse me?" Mary asked, confused. "That - that's great. That he went peacefully, I mean. It sure beats the alternative." Dean said as he sets the photo back.
"You've been drinking." Mary said and Dean shakes his head. "No, I haven't. Mom." He said and she shakes her head. "I'm just gonna call (y/n) and have her come pick you up, OK?" She said as she goes to the phone.
"Wait. No, no!" Dean said as he puts his hand over Mary's, which is over the phone about to pick it up. "Don't - don't do that. Don't do that. I wanna stay here." He said. "Why?" Mary asked. "Because I-I miss the place. It's okay, you - you go to bed. Okay?" He said and he goes over to the couch, sits down, and looks around a bit.
Mary walks up to him, and strokes his face tenderly. "Are you sure you're all right?" She asked him. "I think so." Dean said, nodding. "Okay." She said and she bends down and kisses his forehead, like all mothers do. She starts out the room then stops by the door. "Get some rest. I love you." She said to him. "Me too." He said. She smiles and then goes to bed. Dean stays on the couch, looking perplexed.
The next morning, Dean wakes up on the couch to the sound of birds singing outside. When his eyes focus, he sees a picture of the whole family, including (y/n)'s family, the boys and (y/n) as kids and John is wearing a Santa hat, looking very happy. Dean opens his eyes completely, sitting up, confused. Then he dials his phone.
"Hey, it's me. I can't come to the pho-" Sam's voicemail said and Dean hangs up.
"Well I don't think I've seen you in my class before." The professor said as he stares at Dean. "You kiddin' me? I love your lectures. You...You make learning fun." Dean said and they laugh.
"So. What can I do for you?" The professor aske . "What can you tell me about Djinns?" Dean asked him.
Later, the two stand over a bunch of books, looking through them. "Well, a lot of Muslims believed the Djinn are very real. And they're mentioned in the Koran—" the professor started to explain until Dean interrupts him. "Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I know. Get to the wish part." He said, quickly.
"What about it?" The professor asked him. CDo you think they could really do it?" Dean asked. "Um...Uh, no. No, I don't think they can really do it. You understand these are mythic creatures?" The professor said and Dean nods. "Yeah, I know. I-I-I know. I know. But uh...I mean in the stories. You know, say you had a wish, uh. But you never even said it out loud. Like that, uh...that a loved one never died. Or that, uh, something awful never happened." Dean said.
"Supposedly, yes. I mean they have godlike power. They can alter reality however they want. Past. Present. Future." The professor said. "Why would the Djinn do it? What, self-defense? Or maybe it's not really evil." Dean said, questioning.
"Son? You been drinking?" The professor asked and Dean chuckles a bit. "Everybody keeps asking me that. But uh...No." he said.
Later, Dean opens the trunk to the Impala and sees only old magazines and paper cups and a rag in there, no guns or other weapons. "Well, who'd'a thought, baby. We're civilians." Dean laughs as he closes the trunk, and looks over at the building. A girl is standing in a white shirt, skirt and shoes, staring at him. Dean's smile fades as he senses something. He looks at her for a little while and then starts to cross the street, walking towards her.
Suddenly a car screeches to a halt as it avoids running into Dean. The driver hits the horn and Dean holds out his hand as he looks at the car. When he turns back towards the girl, she's gone. He looks puzzled for a moment, then turns back to the Impala.
Back at the Winchester house, Dean takes a bite out of a big sandwich, grunting 'cause of the goodness. "Mmm. Mmm. Mmm! This is the best sandwich, ever!" Dean said, calling out to Mary. "Thank you." She said from another room
"I tried to get hold of Sam earlier. Where - where - where is he?" Dean asked her. "Oh, he'll be here soon." Mary said. "Good. Dying to see him." He said. "Sweetie, I–I...Don't get me wrong. I am thrilled you are...hanging out here...all of a sudden." She said as she quickly strokes Dean's chin. "But uh...shouldn't you be at work?" She asked.
"Work?" Dean said, confused. "At the garage?" She said. "Right. The garage. It's where I work, yeah. No, I-I–I've got the day off." Dean snickers. "Heh. Good thing." He said as he takes another bite, again with the grunting of goodness.
Then he looks to the window. "That lawn looks like it could use some mowing." He points out. "You want to mow the lawn?" Mary asked. "You kidding me? I'd love to mow the law." He said. "Knock yourself out. You'd think you'd never mowed a lawn in your life." Mary said. Dean shrugs, thinking that no, he never has mowed a lawn. He looks all kinds of happy about the prospect of doing so.
Dean starts the lawnmower then begins to mow the lawn, looking really happy, enjoying it. He's not very adept at it. He sees the neighbor across the street putting out the garbage. He waves to him like a regular guy does in this regular world. The neighbor waves back, telegraphing surprise with his wave, and then Dean continues the mowing.
After he finishes, Dean was sitting on the steps to the front porch, drinking a beer, feeling happy when a car drives up and parks at the curb. "I don't believe it." Dean mutters.
He gets up to go greet Sam and Jessica, who are getting out of the car. Dean attacks Jessica with a hug while Sam takes out the luggage from the trunk. "Jessica." Dean said, happily, as he hugs her, tightly. "Agh! You're, uh...Good to see you too Dean." She said as Dean laughs. "Can't breathe, okay." She tells him and he lets go.
"Sammy." Dean said to him.
"Hey." Sam greets as Dean smiles. "Look at you. You're with Jessica, it's - I don't believe it." He laughs. "Yeah." Sam said, uncertain. "Where'd you guys come from?" Dean asked him. "We just flew in from...Califor–"
"California! Stanford. Huh? Law school, I bet." Dean said, interrupting Sam. Sam chuckles, somewhat disapprovingly, then motions to the beer in Dean's hand. "I see you started off Mom's birthday with a bang, as usual." He said and Dean stops and stares. "Wait. Mom's birthday, that's, that's today?" He asked. "Yeah. Yeah, Dean. That's today. That's why we're here. Don't tell me you forgot." Sam said and Dean looks a bit dumbfounded.
Suddenly, there was another car horn and they look over to see a new car pulling up. "Oh, looks like (father's name) and (mother's name) are here." Sam said and Dean stares as (y/n)'s parents get out of their car and Mary comes out of the house.
"(Mother's name)! (Father's name)!" Mary said, happily, and the two women go and hug each other then Mary hugs (father's name). "You made it!" Mary said to them. "Well, of course! You didn't think we would miss your birthday!" (Mother's name) said as they chuckle and Dean, Sam and Jessica walk up to them.
"Dean! What a surprise!" (Mother's name) said as she goes to hug him. "Hey, (mother's name)." Dean said, smiling, as he hugs her back. Then Dean looks over at (father's name), who was giving him a stern look. "Hey, (father's name)." Dean greets. "Dean." (Father's name) greets in a stern tone.
"Oh, (father's name), stop it." (Mother's name) said as he glances over at his wife for a moment then turns to face Sam. "Samuel! How are you?" He greets in a much friendlier tone than he did with Dean, which makes Dean look at this confused as Sam talks to (father's name).
That night at a restaurant, they're all sitting at a round table as Dean gets served a plate with asparagus spears bound into an upright sheaf. "Wow, that... looks awesome." Dean said as everyone chuckles. "All right. To Mom." Sam said as he raises a glass. "Happy birthday." He said as everyone raises their glass too.
"Happy birthday." Jessica, (father's name), (mother's name) and (y/n) said in unison. "Thank you." Mary said and they all clink their glasses in a cheer. "To mom." Dean said and he watches as Sam and Jessica kiss and smiles at them. (Y/n) then leans towards Dean, a look of worry on her face.
"I was really worried about you last night." She whispered to him. "Oh I'm...I'm good. I'm really good." He replied to her. "Okay. What do you say, later we get you a cheeseburger?" (Y/n) asked and Dean smiles. "Oh God, yes." He said and she smiles. "How did I end up with such a wonderful woman?" He asked her. "Years of wearing you down until you finally asked me out." She teased and Dean laughs then kisses her.
"All right. Jess and I actually have another surprise for Mom's birthday." Sam said then he turns to Jess. "Ah...You wanna tell 'em?" He asked her. "They're your family." Jess said, smiling. "All right." Sam said and Mary looks between them, smiling in anticipation.
"What? Tell me what?" She asked. Sam holds up Jessica's left hand, showing of an engagement ring on her finger. Mary laughs happily and (y/n)'s parents applaud and smile. "Oh my God! That's so wonderful." Mary exclaims, happily, and she gets up and hugs Jessica, who's also gotten up. Sam, (y/n) and her parents get up as well, while Dean still sits.
"Congratulations." (Y/n) said as she hugs Jess. "Thank you." Jess said then (y/n) turns to Sam. "Congratulations, Sammy." She said. "Thank you." Sam said as Mary goes and hugs him then (father's name) shakes his hand and (mother's name) hugs him.
"I just wish your dad was here." Mary said to Sam. "Yeah. Me too." Sam said, sadly. "Jessica, let me see that ring." Mary said to Jess and the women all gather around Jess as Dean goes up to Sam. "Congratulations Sammy." He said. "Thanks." Sam said.
"I'm really glad you're happy." Dean said to and Sam looks a little puzzled at Dean's intensity. Dean looks over his shoulder and sees the same girl he saw on campus. She looks much filthier this time. Dean brushes past Sam and walks over. Sam turns around when Dean hits his shoulder while passing by.
Dean passes a lot of people and when he passes the last one, the girl is gone. He turns around and looks at his family, as they stand looking at him, wondering what's up.
"So, Dean, what was uh...what was all that back at the restaurant?" Sam asked Dean as they enter Mary's house. "Ah... I-I thought I saw someone. I'm sure it's nothing." Dean said. "Well, I had a lovely birthday. Thank you. Good night." Mary said. "Good night." Jess and (y/n) said. "Good night." Dean said. "Night, Mom." Sam said then he turns to the others. "Yeah, well I'm beat." He said then he turns to Jessica.
"Ready to turn in?" He asked. "Sure." Jess said. "All right. Good night guys." Sam said. "Wait a second. Wait a second. Come on, it's not even nine o'clock yet. Let's uh...Let's go have a drink or something." Dean said and Sam gives him a weary look. "Yeah, maybe another time." Sam said.
"Come on, man. Look at us. Huh? We both have beautiful women on our arms. You're engaged. Let’s go celebrate." Dean said to him but there was an awkward silence after thar. Then Sam turns to the girls. "Guys, can you excuse us? I just want to talk to my brother for a sec." He said.
"Sure." Jess said while (y/n) gives a worried look to the boys. "Sam, please don't start." She said. "It'll be fine, (y/n)." Sam said and (y/n) sighs at this and she and Jess leave the room
"Come here." Sam said, onc she turns to Dean, as he walks to the other side of the living room. "What?" Dean asked as he follows. "Okay. What's gotten into you?" Sam asked.
"What do you mean?" Dean asked, confused. "I mean this whole warm, fuzzy ecstasy-trip thing." Sam said. "I'm just happy for you, Sammy." Dean replied. "Yeah, right. That's another thing. Since when do you call me Sammy?" Sam asked as Dean stares at him.
"Dean, come on. We don't talk outside of holidays. God, knows (y/n) has tried her hardest to get us to talk." Sam said. "We don't? Well, we should. I mean, you're my brother." Dean said and Sam scoffs. "You're my brother?" He said, repeating Dean's words. "Yeah." Dean said, laughing.
"You know, that's what you said when you snaked my ATM card, or when you bailed on my graduation, or when you hooked up with Rachel Nave." Sam said. "Who?" Dean asked. "Uh, my prom date. On prom night." Sam said. "Yeah, that does kinda sound like me." Dean mutters before he speaks up. "Well, hey man, I'm sorry about all that." He said and he walks towards Sam, who backs away.
"No that, look, that's all right man, I-I just...You know I'm not asking you to change. I-I just, uh, ...I don't know, I...guess we just don't really have anything in common. You know?" Sam said and Dean blinks before Sam starts to walk away.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Yes we do. Yes we do." Dean said before he laughs. "What?" Sam asked. "Hunting." Dean replies, like it was obvious. "Hunting? I've never been hunting in my life, Dean." Sam said to him. "Yeah, well, then we should go it sometime. I...I think you'd be great at it." Dean said and Sam starts to walk away again.
"Get some rest." Sam tells him and he walks away, leaving Dean in the living room.
Back at his home, Dean was sitting on the sofa, thinking, his brow furrowed when (y/n) offers him a beer. "My favorite. I guess you know me pretty well." He said and she laughs. "Perks of knowing you since I was about twelve years old."
Dean chuckles, softly, beforeshe looks down again and she frowns at this. "You all right?" She asked him. "Sammy and I...We don't get along." Dean mutters and (y/n) sighs at this. "Yeah, you two have had a rocky relationship." She remarked.
"Sam said that you've been trying to get us to talk." Dean said and she nods, slightly. "Well, yeah...you two are brothers and I hate to see you two this broken. But I think Sam's given up on trying to work it out as you have broken his trust one too many times." She said.
"And your dad doesn't seem to like me." Dean said and she waves a hand, vaguely, at this and said. "You know him, he's just being this overprotective dad. He's slowly getting over it, mainly is cause I think mom is wearing him down. She adores you." She said to him as he thinks for a moment.
"I can fix things with Sam. I can make it up to him. To everyone." Dean said and (y/n) smiles. "Okay. What's gotten into you lately?" She asked as she raises an eyebrow at him. "This isn't gonna make a lick of sense to you. But I kind of feel like I've been given a second chance. And I don't wanna waste it." He said. "You're right, that doesn't make any sense—" (y/n) said, chuckling.
Dean then leans in and kisses her. "You know, I get it." He said. "Get what?" (Y/n) asked. "Why you're the one." He said and she smiles. "Well?" She said as he kisses her again. "Whatever's gotten into you...I like it." She said and they begin to kiss, passionately.
"Ohhh...come on! Don't do this to me now. I've gotta get ready for work." She groans and she gets off the couch, leaving Dean sitting with his hands as if she was still between them. "You got to work now?" He asked. "I told you. I've got the night shifts on Thursday." (Y/n) said to him and he starts to get up.
"You work nights at the, uh..." he said and he goes to their shared bedroom to see (y/n) standing by the closet, taking out scrubs. Dean stands in the doorway. "…hospital." He said. "I'm dating a nurse. That is so...respectable." he said and she smiles and giggles at his words.
Later that evening, after (y/n) left, Dean was on the couch, putting his feet on the table, drinking beer and watching TV. He changed the channel to the stock market, cartoon, and then the news. He sees a land plane and hear a reporter. "And today marks the anniversary of the crash of United Britannia Flight 424." The reporter said and this gets Dean's attention and he leans forward as he continues to watch.
"Indianapolis residents held a candlelight vigil in memory of the hundred and eight people who lost their lives..." the reporter said and Dean shakes his head. "No, no. I stopped that crash." He mutters.
Then he goes to his laptop reading headlines that relate to cases he has solved.

He catches a glimpse of a passing figure, a woman in white; maybe the same woman he has seen twice now. He gets up to see what it is. He opens his bedroom closet door and sees several female corpses, hanging. He hears a sound and turns around to see another woman, with a wound in her head, flickering in front of him.
He pants, shocked, and turns back around to the closet – to see nothing out of the ordinary.
Later, Dean was standing by John's grave, staring at it in sadness. "All of them. Everyone that you saved, everyone Sammy, (y/n) and I saved. They're all dead. And there's this woman, that's haunting me. I don't know why. I don't know what the connection is, not yet anyway. It's like my old life is, is coming after me or something. Like it like it doesn't want me to be happy." He said. "Course I know what you'd say. Well, not the you that played softball but...So go hunt the Djinn. He put you here, it can put you back. Your happiness for all those people's lives, no contest. Right?" He said then he becomes angry.
"But why? Why is it my job to save these people? Why do I have to be some kind of hero?" He asked and he begins to cry while talking. "What about us, huh? What, Mom's not supposed to live her life, Sammy's not supposed to get married? (Y/n) and I can't have a normal life together? Why do we have to sacrifice everything, Dad? It's..." Dean said then his lips tremble. Then he hears the sky rumbling and tears begins to falls on his cheek.
"Yeah..." he mutters and he wipes the tears on his cheeks. Then he turns around and walks away.
Back at the Winchester house, Sam was fast asleep when, suddenly, he hears a noise downstairs and he wakes up. He comes down the stairs, quietly, with a bat in his hand then he stops in the doorway, leaning looking into the living room.
He sees the window open and under it, someone is in one of the cabinets. Sam goes in, swinging, but the person gets up and counterattacks, throwing him on the floor. "That was so easy, I'm embarrassed for you." A voice said and Sam looks to see that it was Dean.
"Dean? What the hell are you doing here?" Sam asked him as Dean gets up, letting Sam get up off the floor. "I was looking for a beer." Dean replied. "In the china cabinet?" Sam asked as he goes to turn on the light and sees the box with their parents' silverware on the floor, open.
"That's Mom's silver." Sam said as he looks at Dean, upset. "Sam." Dean mutters and Sam becomes angry. "What, you...you broke into the house...to steal Mom's silver?" He asked, angrily. "It's not what it looks like. OK, I didn't have a choice." Dean said to him. "Oh really? Why? What's so damn important you gotta steal from your own mother?" Sam asked.
"You want the truth?" Dean asked. "Yeah, yeah I do." Sam said and Dean shrugs. "I owe somebody money." He replied. "Who?" Sam asked. "A bookie. I lost big on a game, I gotta bring him the cash tonight." Dean said.
"I can't believe we're even related." Sam grumbles. "Sam, I'm sorry." Dean said. "Yeah." Sam mutters, quietly. "I'm sorry that we don't get along. And I wish to hell I could stay and fix it. But I gotta do this. People’s lives depend on it." Dean said to him. He turns around and take a knife from the box.
"What are you talking about, Dean?" Sam asked him. "Nothing. Forget it. Just uh...hey, tell Mom I love her." Dean said. Sam frowns, seeing that something is up, as Dean goes for the door. "Dean." Sam said, worried, and Dean turns around. "I'll see you, Sammy." Dean said and he walks out the door, taking one last look at the house and Sam.
Sam stands in the living room where Dean left him, confused, then he hear the Impala's engine start.
Dean was sitting in the car, engine going, thinking, when, suddenly, the passenger door opens and Sam gets in the car. "Get out of the car." Dean tells him. "I'm going with you." Sam said. "You're just gonna slow me down." Dean tells him. "Tough." Sam said, firmly.
"This is dangerous and you could get hurt." Dean said to him. "Yeah, and so could you, Dean." Sam said.
"Sam—"
"Look, whatever stupid thing you're about to do, you're not doing it alone. And that's that." Sam said to Dean, firmly. "I don't understand. Why you doing this?" Dean asked him and Sam sighs. "Because you're still my brother." Sam said and Dean stares at him for a moment.
"Bitch." Dean mutters and Sam gives him a confused look. "W–hat are you calling me a bitch for?" He asked, offended. "You're supposed to say jerk." Dean said to him. "What?" Sam asked and Dean shakes his head. "Never mind." He mutters and he puts the Impala in gear and they drive off.
As they drive down the road, Sam looks down on a bag on the seat between them. "What's in the bag?" He asked, sighing. "Nothin'." Dean replied. "Nothin'?" Sam asked. "Yeah, nothin'." Dean said. "Fine." Sam said and he grabs the bag and begins to open it.
"You don't wanna do that." Dean said. "Oh really?" Sam asked. And he takes out what was in the bag. It's a container of blood. "What the hell is this?" Sam asked, staring at the container. "Blood." Dean replied, flatly. "Yeah, I can see that it's blood, Dean! What the hell is it doing in here?" Sam asked, upset. "You don't really wanna know." Dean said.
"No I-I do really wanna know. I really, really, do." Sam said. "Yeah, well you're gonna find out sooner or later. I needed a silver knife dipped in lamb's blood." Dean replied. "You needed a silver knife dipped in lamb's blood, why?" Sam asked. "Because there's this creature. A Djinn. And I have to hunt it." Dean said.
"Okay, um...stop the car." Sam said. "I know how it sounds." Dean said. "Great. Just...stop the car." Sam said, again. "It's the truth, Sam. All right, there are things out there in the dark. There – there – there are bad things. There are nightmare things. And people have to be saved and if we don't save them, then nobody will." Dean tells him.
"Look, I wanna help you, all right. I-I really, really do, but you're having some kind of psychotic breakdown, so, I...just –" Sam said. "I wish." Dean mutters and Sam picks up his phone and starts dialing a number. Dean rolls down his window, grabs Sam's phone, throws it out, and then rolls up the window again.
"What the hell was that, Dean? That was my phone!" Sam yells. "I'm not going to a rubber room, Sammy. And we got work to do." Dean said to him. "What? I was just trying to help you out, Dean. I don't, I don't want you to get yourself hurt." Sam said.
"What? You protect me?" Dean asked him. "Yeah!" Sam exclaims and Dean laughs. "Oh, that's hilarious. Why don't you just sit tight and try not to get us both killed." Dean tells him and be starts the radio and the music blares out.
The Impala drives up between the factory and stops in between two buildings. Dean looks over at Sam, who is asleep. DeN picks up his flashlight and shines it on his face. Sam wakes with a start. "Where are we?" Sam asked. "Well, we're not in Kansas anymore." Dean said as he chuckles at Sam. When there's no reaction, the smile dies.
"Illinois." Dean said. "And you think something's in there?" Sam asked. "I know it is." Dean said and they get out if the car and head towards the building.
"See? There's nothing here, Dean." Sam said as the boys walk along the the building, Dean holding his flashlight. "Look, (y/n)'s gotta be worried sick about you, Dean. Come on, let- let's just go." Sam said after walking for a few minutes until they hear a sound. "Shh!" Dean said to him
"What the hell is that?" Sam asked him. "Stay behind me and keep your mouth shut." Dean said and they head into a large room. There they see bodies hanging from the ceiling appearing before them. It's the same bodies Dean saw in his closet earlier. There was a drained blood bag hanging next to one of the bodies.
"What the hell?" Sam asked as Dean looks further to the right, and the woman Dean has been seeing was hanging like the bodies. They approach her and see another blood bag next to her, filled with blood. Her eyes are open, but she looks close to dead.
"It's her." Dean mutters and Sam looks at the bag and at her wrists that are tied, just like the others. She begins to moan and whimper. "Dean, what's going on?" Sam asked then Dean grabs him. "Shh!" He said as he sees the Djinn is coming out.
When it comes out from behind a wall and walks up behind the woman, the guys are gone. "Where's my dad?" The woman crys. "I won't tell..." she sobs as she looks at the Djinn. "Don't." She moves her feet away from the Djinn. "Where's my dad." She cries as Sam and Dean, who were behind a shelf, watches.
The Djinn touches her face. "Sleep." He whispers as some blue flares go over her cheek while he strokes her. The Djinn's eyes glow bright blue. "Sleep...Sleep." he continues and her head falls forward, eyes still open and her feet relaxes, falling forward again.
The Djinn rests his face against her arms, touching her right arm and breathing heavily, eyes closed. He then goes for the blood bag, pulls out one straw and puts it to his mouth, drinking her blood. Sam sees this and gags in disgust.
The Djinn hears this, and turns around right away; its eyes flash blue and he begins to move towards their hiding place. When he gets there, the guys are gone. The Djinn walks up some creaky steps while the boys were standing below them, looking up, following his steps.
When a door closes, Sam begins to breathe loudly. "This is real? You're not crazy?" Sam asked while Dean stares at the woman. "She didn't know where she was. She thought she was with her father." Dean said, thinking aloud.
Then the boys walk up to the woman again. "What if that's what the Djinn does? It doesn't grant you a wish, it just makes you think it has." He mutters. "Look man. That thing could come back, all right?" Sam said, worried, but Dean walks past Sam in the opposite direction of the woman.
He looks up at a light bulb and it starts to flicker in brighter light. "Dean, please." Sam pleads and Dean starts to breath, heavily. "What if I'm like her? What if I'm tied up in here some place? What if all this is in my head?" Dean asked then he walks up to the woman. "I mean it could, you know, maybe it gives us some kind of supernatural acid, and then just feeds on us slow." Dean said.
"No. Dean, that doesn't make sense. OK?" Sam said. "What if that's why she keeps appearing to me? She's not a spirit. It's - it's like more and more like I'm catching flashes of reality. You know, like I'm in here somewhere, and I'm - I'm catatonic, and I'm taking all this stuff in but I, but I can't snap out of it." Dean said.
"Yeah, OK, look. Yeah, yeah, yeah, you're right. I was wrong. You're not crazy but we – we – we need to get out of here. Fast." Sam said and hs starts to pull Dean with him. Dean pulls his arm loose from Sam, who looks at him and throws his arms out like what?
"I don't think you're real." Dean said. Sam, agitated, sucks in a breath. "Dude, you feel that?" H asked as he grabs Dean by the arms. "You feel this? I'm real. This is not an acid trip. I'm real, and that thing is gonna come down here and kill us for real. Now, please—" Sam said.
"There's one way to be sure." Dean said and he pulls out the silver knife. "Whoa, whoa, whoa. What are you doing?" Sam asked, backing away. "It's an old wives' tale. If you're about to die in a dream, you wake up." Dean said and Sam shakes his head. "No, no, no, no, no, no, no. That's crazy. All right?" Sam said.
"Maybe." Dean said with a determined look. "You're gonna kill yourself—" Sam said as he walks up to Dean but Dean holds out the knife and his other hand to stop him. "OK." Sam said.
"Or I'm gonna wake up. One or the other." Dean said. "OK. This isn't a dream, all right. I'm here, with you, now. And you're about to kill yourself, Dean." Sam said. "No, I'm pretty sure. Like, 90% sure. But I'm sure enough." Sam said and he turns the knife on himself, takes both his hands to the handle, ready to thrust it into himself.
"WAIT!" Sam shouts and Dean stops. Suddenly, Mary walks up next to Dean, in the same nightgown that she died in. Behind Sam, (y/n) appears. "Why'd you have to keep digging?" Sam asked him as Dean looks back at Mary as Jess appears on his right side.
"Why couldn't you have left well enough alone?" Sam asked as Dean looks around. "You were happy." said Sam and Mary comes up in front of Dean. "Put the knife down, honey." Mary said and tears form into Dean's eyes.
"You're not real. None of it is." He said. "It doesn't matter. It's still better than anything you had." Mary said. "What?" Dean asked. "It's everything you want. We're a family again. Let’s go home." She said and Dean shakes his head. "I'll die. The Djinn'll...drain the life out of me in a couple of days." Dean said, his voice breaking.
"But in here, with us, it'll feel like years. Like a lifetime." Mary said and Dean looks over at Sam, who half-smiles and nods to him. "I promise." Mary said as she takes his chin in her hand, and he looks down on her. "No more pain." She said as she strokes his cheek. "Or fear. Just love and comfort. And safety. Dean, stay with us." Shd said and she strokes his other cheek and he leans into her hand, closing his eyes "Get some rest." She said.
"You don't have to worry about Sam anymore." Jess said and Dean looks over at her. "You get to watch him live a full life." She said and Mary steps away, and (y/n) walks up to him, taking his face in her hands then kissed him. "We can have a future together. Have our own family. I love you, Dean. Please." She pleads, softly, and Sam walks up to him.
"Why is it our job to save everyone? Haven't we done enough?" Sam asked, echoing what Dean said earlier. "I'm begging you. Give me the knife." Sam said and Dean looks at (y/n), Sam and Mary with tears in his eyes. Then he backs away looking at the floor. He raises his head, looking at Sam and (y/n).
"I'm sorry." He whispers and he thrusts the knife into himself, and blood immediately comes out of his mouth.
*(y/n)'s POV*
"DEAN! DEAN! Dean." Sam and I shouted as we walk up to Dean, who was hanging from the ceiling, a blood bag hangs next to him. "Oh God. Come on." Sam whispered as we shake him. "Hey. Wake up. Wake up, damn it!" I said, panicked, and Dean grunts a little. His eyes begin to focus on us.
"Hey. Hey." Sam said as we shake him awake. "Ahh...Auntie Em. There's no place like home." Dean mutters and I let out a sigh of relief. "Thank God. I thought I lost you for a second." I whispered as Sam pulls out the tube in Dean's throat. "You almost did." Dean whispers and I smiled at him.
"Oh God." Sam said as he breathes, heavily. "Let's get you down." He said and Sam reaches up and starts to cut through the rope as Dean winces over the pain and grunts a little. "(Y/n)! SAM!" Dean yells and I turn around, see the Djinn then I go to the Djinn with the knife.
The Djinn knocks me down then goes after Sam for a moment, gets him to drop the knife. I shake my head and see that the Djinn had got the upper hand on Sam, and is holding him by the throat. The Djinn's hand was glowing blue, and he is moving it toward Sam's forehead, but Sam was struggling, pushing against his wrist and trying to stop him.
I grabbed my knife and thrust the knife into the back of the Djinn. Then I pull the knife out and it falls to the ground dead. Sam breathes heavily from being strangled and I help him up and go over to help Dean down, who doesn't look too good as he was pale and with red-rimmed eyes.
Once we get him down, we walk up to the girl. He puts his hand to her neck, feeling for a pulse. A tear rolls down one of her cheeks. "She's still alive!" Dean said and he pulls out the tube in her neck as I cut her rope. Dean and Sam catch her as she goes down.
"We gotcha. We gotcha. We're gonna get you out of here, OK? We gotcha." Dean said as the girl makes small wheezing sounds while I watch Dean and Sam help her down. "We got you." He said.
"OK, uh, thank you so much for the update. OK, bye." Sam said into his phone as Dean and I were sitting on the edge of a hotel bed. Dean was looking down and I placed a hand on his shoulder. He looks at me and I give a reassuring smile then he smirks back and takes my hand in his.
"That was the hospital. Girl's been stabilized. Good chance she's gonna pull through." Sam said once he hangs up his phone and comes up to us. "That's good." Dean said and Sam nods.
"How 'bout you? You all right?" I asked Dean and he clears his throat. "Yeah, I'm all right. You should have seen it, guys. Our lives. You were such a wussy, Sam." Dean said, chuckling.
"So we didn't get along then, huh?" Sam asked. "Nah." Dean said. "I thought it was supposed to, to be this perfect fantasy." I said, questioning. "It wasn't. It was just a wish. I wished for Mom to live. That Mom never died, we never went hunting and all of us just never uh...you know." Dean said.
"Yeah. Well, I'm glad we do. And I'm glad you dug yourself out, Dean." Sam said and I nodded. "Yeah, me too. Most people wouldn't've had the strength, would have just stayed." I said. "Yeah...Lucky me. I gotta tell you though, guys. You know, you had Jess, Sam. Mom was gonna have grandkids...(y/n), your parents were alive." He said.
"Yeah, but...Dean...it wasn't real." Sam said. "I know. But I wanted to stay." Dean said as he looks sad and lost. "I wanted to stay so bad. I mean, ever since Dad...all I c– all I can think about is how much this job's cost us. We've lost so much. We've...sacrificed so much." Dean said and I go and remove my hand out of his and wrap it around his shoulder.
"But people are alive because of you." I said and Dean scoffs. "She's right. It's worth it, Dean. It is. It's not fair, and...you know, it hurts like hell, but...it's worth it." Sam said and Dean looks at us then down again, sadly and pensively.

Theories, perhaps a bit too farfetched?
Spoilers for drdt chapter 2.
I know everyone and their mom is attempting to predict the solution to this case, and I don't think I have much to contribute to the conversation, so I intentionally don't write big theory posts with accusations, just small ones where I go over evidence. I intentionally try to avoid calling out specific characters, but this time I'll be brave and do so!
This is all highly speculative and not at all a full explanation!
The basics:
I am assuming that the murder was committed with the pulley method as described by Teruko.
I am assuming Nico committed the attempted murder on Ace with the use of Hu's wire.
The pulley method:
I went over this in another post, but a quick repeat:
Teruko suggests the rope hang from the rafters, through the seesaw and then into the carousel. The culprit pulled Arei up, tied the rope to a shorter length, then let go. Due to the tied rope, Arei's momentum abruptly stopped, snapping her neck.
Now it is suggested the killer took inspiration from Nico. It seems like this was done to frame them, right?
Now there are two things that significantly change from Nico's murder, ignoring the parts that had to change because it was done in the playground rather than the gym:
1. The killer in the playground used a 2 rope pulley. By using the rafters as the main pulley and the seesaw as an extra pulley, the culprit created a 2 rope pulley, unlike Nico's 1 rope pulley. The thing about 2 rope pulleys, is that they half the weight of the load. The use of the carousel just makes it even easier to pull Arei up. Simply lean into it with your weight if just arm strength isn't enough. (So yes, anyone in the cast could've used this, even Eden.)
2. If the killer wants to frame Nico for this murder, then why did they remove Arei from the drop hanging setup? Why would you move her to the swing if you want the few people who knew about Nico's method to be able to easily clock this as Nico's drop hanging attempt?
Unless they didn't move her, of course.
Now, David claims that he is the first person to see the body, the other characters are quick to point out that he needed to somehow find the body after 8 am, when everybody went searching for Arei, without being noticed by Teruko, Eden and Whit.
Of course, you could argue he managed to do just that, or you could argue that he saw the body at an earlier time and the murder was committed before 7:30 am.
You could also just agree with the characters that he didn't see the body, but that doesn't mean that nobody else would've seen the body, as David himself kindly points out.
Now if that were true, it means it's fully possible that someone stumbled across Arei's body that morning. If the culprit wanted to frame Nico, they would leave Arei in the drop hanging position. If the person who found the body doesn't like that Nico was framed, however... they would move Arei to the swing instead. It would make it immediately less likely that someone would recognize it as Nico's method.
Now who could possibly want to unframe Nico from this murder? The two people most motivated to remove the framing are having breakfast together in Hu's room. Or not? Maybe they wanted to eat breakfast in the relax room? It's Nico's favourite place after all.
But if they entered the second floor and the door to the playground was left open a little, wouldn't they take a little peek? A peek that not only proves Arei was dead, but also that Nico was framed for it? Wouldn't Hu and Nico work together to move Arei to a different position? I know it's farfetched, but it's less wild than some theories by other people.
We need to suspend our disbelief a little.
So why do I like this idea so much? Because it would complete the references to THH, of course! I have pointed it out, and so have others: DRDT is filled with references to THH. (Then plays with them by reversing the roles)
And what happened in case 2 of THH?
Someone found the body before the BDA and decided to move it in order to frame someone innocent.
What if in DRDT, someone finds the body before the BDA and moves it in order to UNframe someone innocent?
Using this logic also means the body was swinging because it was moved by a third party. This means the murder itself could be committed either earlier that morning, or the day before.
I wouldn't argue that these things make either Ace or Eden more suspicious, both could have wanted to frame Nico after all.
We don't even know of someone actually saw the body before the BDA. However, I think it would be a great explanation for why the body is no longer in the drop hanging position.
TLDR: If someone saw the body before the BDA, it's possible they moved the body. The people most likely to move the body are Hu and Nico.

Get excited: I have a new biggest pet peeve while driving! It is when people are stopped at a red light on a 4-lane road (so two lanes each direction, no turning lane) and the person in the left lane is making a left turn and DOESN'T TURN ON THEIR BLINKER!!!
When joe was in preschool I took the edens to work everyday bc he school was close to it but now I take surface streets the entire way-- actually just one street! The street my house is on! But while it's technically one road, it's actually lots of little roads they've combined into a long road, so you frequently have to turn at a four way intersection to stay on the road, and it's also a residential and business street so there are LOTS of stop signs and street lights, and sometimes it's one lane each direction and sometimes it's two. All fine!
But I have noticed that a LOT of people in the left lane need to make a left turn at a stoplight and don't use their blinker, so you're stuck behind them when, if you'd known, you would have just gone in the right lane and kept traffic moving! I do give myself a buffer almost all the time so if no one is in the right lane i'm able to pull over, but sometimes, especially around New Trier, there are too many cars!
Why don't I just always stay in the right lane to avoid this issue? Great question. As I mentioned, the road has several required left hand turns to stay on the road (in the direction I'm going, I still take the highway home so it's only a one-direction issue for me), and it frequently merges from two lanes to 1, and both of those actions favor being in the left lane. Also, there are houses and businesses and thus parking all along this road, so I prefer to stay in the left lane to give a buffer to people walking and pulling out of parking and driveways.
It's very easy to use a blinker! This is the actual BEST use of a blinker! To indicate you're going to turn from a spot where not everyone wants to turn, so those other people can get out of the way!
Sorry I know I just wrote like a treatise on this but it's really annoying! And I am pretty crafty about it and do use the right lane to go through those intersections as often as possible but you can see people get stuck behind those cars!!! It's an absolutely unnecessary problem!

[How exploring the Ineffable Husbands' dynamic in Good Omens can help us figure out what the show/book is all about, Part 3.1/?]
Also called: This human has, apparently, too much time on her hands and will be trying to Effable the Ineffable for [...] hours.
Hiya, Angels! 👋
Hope you're all doing well!
First of all, if you randomly came across this analysis, I guess you would expect me to entice you to read the first two parts beforehand... And you would be absolutely right.
"Obviosleh."
And since I'm nice [and because I fully understand the importance of saving people as much effort as possible to catch a larger audience - Duh 😇], here are the links for Part 1 and Part 2 🥰 so that everyone is on the same page as we dive into Part 3.
As I previously announced, we'll dissect our favorite pair's next two encounters today which are S1 3004 BC (Noa's Arch, The Flood) and S2 2500 BC (Job's ca-
[future me rereading this before dropping - Yep, nope, not happening just yet]
By doing that, I will try my best to prove to you the main point of my analysis I've revealed at the end of Part 2.
Repeat after me: Good Omens is a philosophical essay disguised as comedic/satyric/romantic fiction.
[Yeah... here she is, already giving orders strong recommendations... I'm so Metatroning you right now.]
[And, since I'm at my best when I'm Metatroning people, this is the moment I'm gonna take to strongly recommend you to ingest the human matter of your choosing - Num num num.]
*In Crowley's voice* OOookaay, let's start!
3004 BC (Mesopotamia - Noa's Arch, The Flood)
In S1, Right before this encounter happens, the scene starts by making us, the audience, witness Aziraphale very badly lying to God about the flaming sword, an event that I already mentioned in part 2 because of the contrast it was considering he did tell the truth to a newly Demonized Crawley in comparison.
BUT [Yay, first "but" of Part 3! Are you having fun?], I really want to talk about this bit some more because that remains one of the scenes that, to this day, bugs me THE MOST in Good Omens as a whole.
To sum things up, you're telling me that GOD:
BOTHERED to pop in to ask one of their Angels a question.
That the said Angel seemed suuuuper anxious about from the start: looking everywhere aimlessly, almost asking them WHAT A DAMN SWORD EVEN WAS... basically giving away EVERY TELLTALE SIGN, both in their voice, mannerisms, and the simple fact that they were literally back to the wall, that they were about to LIE, proceeded to give God the UNanswerest answer EVER:
"Oh, must have, uh, must have put it down here somewhere."
And God just... just... LEFT THAT LYING ANGEL ALONE?! Just as quickly as they arrived?! No arguments, no further questions, no reckoning, just... NOTHING. HAPPENED?!
HUH?
WOT?!
WHO?!
WHO THE F DOES THAT?!
WHO DOES THAT?! That is a real question! WHO?!
IT DOESN'T MAKE ANY. SENSE!
THE F-
I mea-
I'll never recover from it.
Oof. Okay, I'm fini-
I NEED an answer in Season 3! This is all I ask! I don't need the world to be saved, I don't need Alpha Centauri, man, I don't even need Aziracrow to reuni- [okay, no, can't say that, even if I like being dramatic, I take that back, this is all I want and all I've ever wanted, please, I just need to see Aziraphale in a white dress and Crowley demanding him to remove his 200 yo jacket on top of it because it "absolutely ruins it", please!] I. NEED. ANSWERS.
*clears her throat* Yeah. So. I'm perfectly fine with this scene. Moving on!
Aziraphale and Crawley meet in Mesopotamia during the year 3004 BC.
Crawley is the first to notice and to greet Aziraphale VERY enthusiastically. Which is, first of all, cute, but also an indicator that they haven't seen each other in a very long time, more precisely, since Eden (a thousand years prior to be exact). We know that because the first thing Crawley says after his "Hello, Aziraphale!" is the direct continuation of their conversation back in Eden:
"So, giving the mortals a flaming sword. How did that work out for you?"
Aziraphale answers what will never cease to bug me:
"The Almighty has never actually mentioned it again."
Which still peaks my interest because it could mean two things, and pretty different things at that:
One, God and Aziraphale never directly interacted again and nobody from the Main Office ever asked him about the flaming sword at all, which made Aziraphale believe that God never asked them anything about it.
OR
Two, God and Aziraphale DID directly interact again but the flaming sword subject has never been brought up once more.
Given the way this sentence is constructed and the emphasis on "actually mentioned it again," I'm more inclined to believe in the second option, which would be a very interesting thing to pounder:
Aziraphale might have a "privileged" relationship with God considering they probably interacted somewhat directly and more than once.
I'll go back to it later because we need to keep that in mind for the Job's case encounter.
Crawley says that it is "probably a good thing" until his attention is drawn to what is happening around them.
Then, they will debate the subject of the day, which is pretty much the same thing as before but formulated differently and condensed:
What is the point of Good and Bad? Do these concepts even have a meaning or not?
The main difference between the two previous encounters compared to this one is that this time, Aziraphale and Crawley are both active in the debate and do find common grounds here and there. It is shown cinematographically: they share the screen.
Aziraphale explains to Crawley that God got "a bit tetchy" and wants to drown the human race (well, at least the Middle Eastern humans) and Crawley takes that announcement astonishingly, which still aligns with his creator-at-heart persona.
"All of them?"
Insists Crawley.
Aziraphale first tries to mitigate what appears to Crawley as an extreme reaction by stating that Noah, his family, and their spouses will be spared but you can see that he, himself, doesn't really believe in what he tries to say.
"But they're drowning everybody else?"
Crawley really, really cannot comprehend what is happening.
"Not the kids. You can't kill kids."
This reminds us of their very first meeting because Crawley, here, judges God and tries to put himself in their place. Again.
Aziraphale answers with a worried nod: both because he is scared (his Fear of God cannot be anything but present at that moment) and because... he agrees.
And THEN, Crawley says that:
"Well, that's more the kind of thing you'd expect my lot to do."
Now that Aziraphale is more inclined to be part of the debate, Crawley tends to be more forthright about his opinion:
If God can do what Satan and his demons do, what is the point of separating the two? Are they, really, that different?
And, more so:
Is God a Good being anyway?
If Good or Bad exists, of course. [Oh, yes, I know I'm annoying. 100% aware. 😁]
To Aziraphale, it is clearly the case, and that is why he tries, again, to mitigate God's actions:
"The Almighty's going to put up a new thing, called a rainbow. As a promise not to drown everyone again."
A rainbow, huh? How interesting...
A rainbow is basically a demonstration of the union between Water and Fire. God and Satan. Good and Bad. Blah blah blah.
Almost as if...
Nahhh...
Almost as if they both needed to exist at all times!
Also, Aziraphale almost sounds like he is interpreting the rainbow as God's excuse for having a tantrum.
Which Crawley responds with a very sarcastic:
"How kind."
That's when Aziraphale cannot bring himself to follow Crawley's opinion any further (even if it is clearly shown he DOES agree, he is just SCARED to be).
After telling Crawley that he cannot judge God, that's when the "Ineffable" word is brought up again. This time, by Crawley. Because he already knows what Ineffable means to Aziraphale:
I am not important, or mighty enough to judge God and I am not supposed to. I am supposed to do what I am told, no questions asked.
Does it sound repetitive? Yeah, because it is 😅 That is Good Omen's main theme, after all.
This story is, as I mentioned before, a satire. Of religion, but also, of the concept of hierarchy, and the danger of ideologies as a whole. "Ineffable" is an ideology. "Ineffable" literally means "so emotionally overwhelming and powerful that you cannot translate into words"...
But Good Omens wants to bring you to ask yourself: cannot or don't want to?
Aziraphale is a character who doesn't want to think by himself because he is scared of a higher power (hierarchy). But he cannot just... stop thinking. Oppositely to Crowley, who kind of always, naturally had that ability.
Therefore, that makes it difficult for the both of them to understand each other [Oh yes, we'll talk about that further when we finally talk about that S2 finale that left us traumatized. According to my rhythm and how my Muse is an erratic bench, I'd say this conversation will occur in about a year or two.] Just as it is difficult for any of us to understand the people who think dramatically differently than us. Good Omens is an invitation to debate with people who do not share our views. That is how we stay open-minded and prompt to change.
Basically, folks: don't blindly stay in the boxes you're in.
Hierarchy is heavily criticized too, because it is a big cause - if not the main one - of people staying put in their respective boxes. Religion is a box among many others, hence the fact I prefer to say that GO mocks ideologies as a whole.
But hierarchy can be different things, and, more so, can use many different tones towards its subordinates: hierarchy can be nice, and affectionate (family, for instance - or not, definitely not always). Hierarchy can also be threatening, physically or mentally, or both (dictatorship, for instance).
Basically: hierarchy can either come from love or fear.
Or... well, both. That's how you get... propaganda? That is the most blatant example that came to my mind. We tend to associate love with good. We also tend to forget how often love has been used as a weapon.
Good and bad are...
[You know the end of the sentence, now, do you? If not, it means I haven't harassed you enough, so let me remind you]
Good and Bad are always mixed up. If they exist.
Anyway, I feel like I'm starting to digress.
.... Actually? I'm not done with that segment just yet.
[You right now.]
Hierarchy can also come from... habits. History. Some hierarchies that we are under today are still there because of how long they have been installed, but not really because they are that relevant anymore. I am not going to bring examples here because I do not want to offend anybody and because you are more than capable of interpreting this statement in a way that speaks to you.
We'll talk about this more when we'll reach the... Jim/Gabriel subject. [In about a year and a half.]
ANYWAY. Moving on to a lighter reflection:
Romantically speaking, Aziraphale remembers that encounter because Crawley displayed strong empathy and concern during that whole meeting.
He asked Aziraphale how he was after the flaming sword incident,
He could not comprehend how killing kids was okay,
He bothered to alert Noah about the escaping unicorn.
[Also, maybe, because damn - Also, it might come as a surprise to you who have seen me fangirling over Crowley for the last 3 parts but my favorite is actually Aziraphale 🤣]
After this conversation, The Flood starts and neither of them is protecting the other from it. Because of habits (after a thousand years spent on earth, they know this will not hurt any of them), but also as a way to tell us, the audience: they have started to realize they were in this together.
[Insert the "We're all in this together" Disney's High School Musical song right here... Yeah! I'm a Millennial, how could you possibly have guessed?!]
They are Equals.
Another really important topic in Good Omens, by the way, but it is time to dive into one of my favorite encounters between Aziraphale and Crowley and-
Huhhhh. I feel like analyzing two meetings including a whole episode in only one part might feel too heavy (to me, at least). So... I guess see you next time? 😅
Bye, Angels!
[No, no, I'm not saying you are "sssuckersss" okay? Just wanted a Crowley gif.]
Need help to find the rest of this analysis? I've got you covered! Follow me, Angel 😇

drdt ch2 ep 14 spoilers. just general thoughts. also, i express a bit more opinions in here than normal, but I don't mean it as criticism. It's just personal preference, so please don't feel offended if you disagree.
So Ace vs. Eden huh... if I hadddd to bet on those two and not a third option it would be Ace? Just purely from an evidence standpoint. David is kind of right that this "bda" rule is incredibly flimsy not just for the scenario he pointed out, but because Eden could have closed her eyes and flinched right at the moment of Arei's drop, because even if she could do something if the mechanism went wrong i severely doubt Eden is faster than gravity. Not much to be done there even if something doesn't go according to plan. Like with the "all murderers must be punished" rule im sure that will be used in a murder plan at some point.
There is one thing I think that wasn't discussed in Nico's attempted murder plan, and that's how did they get Ace in the gym? I don't mean "how did they knock him out." I mean that the plan is very specific, and the playground and relaxation room don't exactly have things that are easy to hang someone from(without a rope, obviously.) I can't measure the length of the wire but considering that the playground is two-storeys tall if Nico's plan could've also worked in the playground, does that thing even count as a wire anymore or is that just a sharp whip that was condemned by god.
Back to the main point, how did Nico just happen to get Ace on the right floor? I don't think they had to knock him out in the gym specifically, but it is WILD to me that anyone would take the risk of knocking Ace out on the first floor and dragging him to the elevators like at that point just stab the guy and be done with it. So it makes more sense to me that Ace went to the second floor of his own volition, and Nico followed him. But this is where I think Teruko and Nico might become pivotal in defending Eden. I can't remember the episode she says this in anymore, but right before they hear the fan break, Eden says "I know you've been following me!" She could of course just be paranoid that someone watching her prepare for a murder,(starchy ball of clothing, esp with teruko's clothes right there and teruko) but it could mean that she sensed someone following her right after the Arei-Arturo thing. Ace can of course easily defend this as saying he went to the gym to work out(makes sense tbh) but if Nico says they caught him off guard with the chlo-- turpentine because Ace was hiding and watching something, that may definitively prove that he is at least more suspicious than Eden. After all, this guy is no stranger to eavesdropping on people's conversations, and it is an ... interesting coincidence to be both where the victim was right before she was lured out and the person the killer intended to frame. Also for this to work, he was probably the one eavesdropping on at least the first half of the infirmary conversation(this part still gets me confused, but im going to assume he ran into the cafeteria after hearing arei coming) and that he saw Arturo leave, but guessed the part about "Arei promising to do anything." Then it makes a bit of sense for him to stalk eden that day, stalk arei the next day, then commit his murder in the morning after gathering all the information he needs. It also makes sense for him to be waiting for the right time to get the fish. He and Eden are also the only ones that could've grabbed the tape before the gym closed, because apparently it closed right after they left and I missed this detail. so Levi couldn't have investigated it immediately after.
As for Hu and Nico I do like the themes of infantilization and self-worth and helplessness. Levi is taking being judged with very neurotypical condemning language pretty well actually, but I assume he's probably heard worse in his life. And also knows there's more on the line now than his feelings, or Eden's. I never really assumed Hu was the killer because so much of her alibis would need to be waved off for this plan to work, and that feels kind of sloppy to me. I believe that any talented writer can make any twist work but it would be very hard to do I think, and perhaps more effort than it is worth.
I don't hang around here much(I say this too often but it is true. Social media does not make me feel particularly great.) so I don't know everyone's big theories and all but from what I do see the main rebuttals to Ace being the killer is that his intelligence is too low and that he doesn't fit the theme of the chapter. The first point is somewhat fair to make I think, but I do think that "someone is too dumb to commit murder" is a poor argument to make when it applies to people like the ultimates. All talents require a level of strategy, sports are no exception. And lets not forget he did have a model murder to use(Eden too).
As for the second point, after doing some thinking, I think he does actually fit the theme of this chapter very well, especially as a foil to the victim, Arei. Maybe at first glance it doesn't make sense for someone who hasn't tried very hard to be a good person at all to be the murderer, but he and Arei have both had someone they deemed to be a "good person" watching over them, always willing to extend a hand despite the poor treatment. These are of course Levi and Eden, in that order. It turned out that Levi isn't exactly Ace's perfect idea of a friend(I mean at this point who is, no one can replace Taylor that's not how people work...), but he still, like Eden, was willing to overlook Ace's faults time and time again. Ace has a right to be upset, but he is cruel without trying to perform kindness like Arei was. Arei died trying to change herself into a better person. Ace never tried. By killing someone willing to put themself at risk for others, who ironically enough is like Levi in that way, he affirms his own worldview. Eden is also implied to be not exactly perfect as well, but the theme of this whole chapter challenges the idea of inherent good and evil. But you can always try to better yourself.
Eden being the killer also fits the theme of the story well and I think that it's not really a bad writing decision for her to be the killer, even if the parallels tug at your heart(they don't really for me truthfully, but if I wasn't moved by Min's I guess I won't be moved now either). It would be hard but not impossible for Teruko to trust again even if Eden is the killer after that performance. But that still doesn't change the fact that imo, no one has a motive to be her accomplice. How could she have gotten the fish then?
There is one more thing I'm thinking about with regards to the "intelligence problem" in that I still believe this case feels a bit sloppy, not narratively, but for the killer. 7:30 is a really tight time to pick, especially when you know that everyone is meeting up 30 minutes later, whether they want to or not. If it were me, I'd at least pick 7:00, not an unreasonable hour, but more time for the water to dry. Also, what if it turns out Arei is chronically late for things lmao? There is also the note. There is no way the killer could have predicted David's um. Fun exercises of one's patience, so trying to make an alibi for yourself by banking on the "in the evening" time of death is so very risky. Not to mention what if someone had gone to the playground at night with a group of people? Then it has to be in the morning. This leads to the note. I've talked about this before, but I wonder why it was discarded that way at all. The obvious choice is that they didn't want to risk the note being found shoved down the killer's skirt or pants when they had to meet up in like five minutes, but you can eat the note. That is just something you can do. But that might not occur to someone with an eating disorder.
(Thoughts on the episode are done, next part is just me kind of promoting.)
For my friend who knows who you are: i cannot believe the day i have to draw horseace draws closer. I can't even draw normal horses, how am i supposed to do this. born to write forced to draw.
For everyone else: I am doing drabbletober this year, and am open to requests. My ao3 has the same name as my tumblr if you want examples. Feel free to shoot me an ask here if you want me to write something. I don't take nsfw requests from anyone who isn't 18+ tho. Also, I'll try to write it when I can, which may be before October, but I will place my trust in you- please do not claim my writing as your own before I post it to ao3. pretty please okay.

STOLEN HEARTS CHAPTER THIRTY-THREE
New Years Eve
December 31, 1990 11:58 PM
I had moved back in with Eddie, although we slept in separate bedrooms. I wanted to take things slow and steady; get to know each other again. Eddie was trying hard at proving to me he has changed. He hasn't even had so much as a beer; he doesn't even keep alcohol in the house. We'll, tonight was an exception. It's New Years Eve, and we have all our friends over including the rest of the band. My dad was over in Europe, but he called to wish us a happy New Year.
We all stood around the tv, watching as the minutes counted down until the ball dropped. We had the tv switched to a news channel where they had the scene of Time Square in New YorK City packed with people and the ball right in the middle. Everyone here has a partner. Jonathan and Nancy, Mike and El, Robin and Vickie, Steve and a girl he literally met a few days ago. Lucas and Max, Dustin's girlfriend Suzie were here, Jonathan invited his friend Argyle, who is dating Susie's sister, Eden. Will had brought someone he had been seeing. He met him right before Christmas. Even Billy had met someone. Some blonde chick he met a couple weeks ago. Then there is me and Eddie.
The timer was getting closer and closer; counting down the seconds now. We all turned to the tv and started to count down the clock once it hit ten seconds.

I looked over at Eddie and smiled up at him. It was about to be a new year. That meant we could really start over and leave everything that has happened behind.

Our New Year's resolution could be to be better for not just ourselves but for each other. To be better together and not let what came between us this year come between us again. We can keep the past in the past and start building a real life together.

“HAPPY NEW YEAR!”
Confetti poppers popped as we all yelled Happy new year when the ball finally dropped. It was officially a new year. New year and new beginnings. I looked around to see everyone was kissing their partners to bring in this new year. I looked back over at Eddie. He was looking down at his shoes, hands set deep in his pockets. This was a new year and that meant the Eddie that had hurt me was left behind in 1990.
I turned fully and stepped in front of him. When he lifted his head to look at me. When he was looking at me I saw the Eddie I fell in love with back in high school. I placed my hands on his cheeks and kissed him. He didn't kiss back at first; it took him a few seconds for his brain to catch up to what was happening. But when it did his hands gripped my waist and pulled me flush against him.
Later, after everyone had gone to bed, Eddie and I ran upstairs to our room. His hands were on my hips, head ducked down, and lips pressed against mine while he moved me backward towards the bed. His lips moved down my jaw to my neck, sucking on the sweet spot behind my ear. My hands were all over the place, not knowing where to stay. They eventually started to lift his shirt. He pulled away just long enough to pull it over his head and help me with mine.
My knees hit the end of the bed and I fell back onto the soft mattress. The next to go were my pants and then my underwear. His lips trailed down my neck to my chest, stopping to give my nipples attention before continuing down my stomach. He bypassed where I wanted him when his calloused fingers spread my legs apart. Instead they attached to my inner thighs, sucking a mark on the inside of my right thigh. The short hairs of his bread felt better on the soft skin between my legs than I could have ever imagined. It was soft yet coarse, sending shivers down my spine, and making me more wet than I already am.
I thread my fingers into his long curly hair trying to guide him where I want him the most. “So impatient,” he said, chuckling but complying. Eddie ran a finger between my wet folds, spreading me apart and taking a long lick. His lips sucked the bundle of nerves in between his teeth, scraping at it just enough to have me begging for more. It's been too long since I had an earth shattering orgasm. Eddie is the only one who will ever be able to satisfy me completely.
His tongue and lips worked wonders, licking and sucking. He added two fingers inside of me, curling and scissoring. They brushed against the spit only he could get to. My pussy spasmed, the muscles clenched around them. A moan bubbled from deep in my gut, escaping from my lips, and filling the air around us. My hand tightened in his hair, pulling him closer. The humming sound he made vibrated against my clit intensifying the feeling. I came around his fingers with his name on my lips, making a mess of me, him, and the bed sheeting underneath us.
“Move up further on the bed, baby.”
Eddie stood up, sucking his fingers clean before working to take his pants off. I laid there with my eyes closed trying to work up the energy to move. “Don't fall asleep on me. I'm not done with you yet. It's been way too long since I've gotten to feel you in so fucking long.” I jumped at the feeling of his hands running up my thighs. I gasped when he pulled me further to the edge of the bed. He bent knees, pushed my legs closer to my chest, and rubbed the tip of his cock through my wet pussy.
“You ready, Sweetheart?” He asked, slowly pushing himself inside of me. The burning from him stretching me felt amazing. “Fuck,” Eddie hissed, bottoming out. “You're always so damn tight. I've missed the feeling of you wrapped around me. Always so fucking perfect.” He pulled out almost all the way only to push back into me in one fluid motion. His pace was slow and gentle to start off until I started begging him. “Harder, please, Eddie harder!”
He licked his pace up, fucking me harder. Eddie moved my legs, spreading them apart so he could lean down and kiss me. “Doing so well, baby. Taking my cock like a good girl.” He pulled one leg over his shoulder pushing him deeper. The head of his cock hitting that sweet spot over and over and over. My nails dug into his skin, his name fell from my lips, and my pussy tightened around him. “That's it. Come for me. Good girl.” My vision blacked around the edges and my head felt dizzy as I came harder than I have in a long time.
“Good fucking girl. Now you're going to take everything I give you.” Eddie fucked into me harder and faster, his thumb drew tight circles on my overly sensitive clit. His thrust got slopper until he pushed himself as far into me as he could and stayed still, emptying himself into me. I'm on birth control luckily but that's also not a hundred percent effective; there's still always a chance. To be honest I don't think I'd be disappointed if it happened. I came again from the intensity of his thumb on my clit. My legs shook, my breath heavy, and my skin sticky with sweat.
My carded my hands through his hair moving it out of his eyes. “I love you,” I whispered. A lazy smile spread across his face and he leaned down to kiss me. “I love you, too, sweetheart.”

hiiii cass it's ciel :) all right, i have to admit i personally don't headcanon sam as transfem, but in the spirit of wincest wednesday i want to participate lol. i like the idea of a very east of eden-like confrontation early in sam's life, where (s)he asks john how to become a girl and he tells him that he's a boy, and boys can't become girls. it's something sam internalizes for a long time because what dad says is absolute and dad always knows everything. none of them have any access to anything different; they're cut off from the world and in those days queerness is still shoved out of the public eye anyway—so without information to tell him otherwise sam grows up as a boy and eventually stops questioning it, shoving it deep down and ignoring the little niggling in his brain that tries to remind him something isn't right.
it's not until stanford that those questions unbury themselves. now we're in the new millennium, the world is changing rapidly, and for the first time in his life, sam is part of a society. and in this society he finds people of all sorts. maybe one of his classmates works as a drag queen on the weekends; maybe he sneaks into one of the shows. it would leave an impression and spark questions, but sam has gone his whole life shoving those questions down, and so he finds a pretty girl and plans to make her his wife. his goal here was normal, and so he'll be normal.
and then those questions are stifled again until dean picks him up again, and all hopes of normal fly right out the window. suddenly there's no goal but revenge, and when they've got their revenge he has nothing left but dean. normal is just a distant memory—and without normal, without dad, there's no dirt left to bury sam's questions.
so maybe his eyes linger a little too long on a few plain-looking girls at the bars they visit. and dean will nudge his arm and raise his eyebrows, goading him on, but sam never acts on it because that's not what he wants. he can't figure out exactly what he does want, but it's definitely not sex.
when they're at a gas station one day, sam finds a hair scrunchie forgotten on the ground, a cute polka-dotted pattern on it. and even though it's stained with grime and oil, he picks it up and shoves it in his pocket before dean can see. and he doesn't know why, but it feels important somehow. he takes it out later and just stares at it before shoving it into the deep recesses of his duffel bag.
when sam saves dean's ass during a hunt, he tells him: "that's my boy." and though sam doesn't work any less quickly, his hands fumble on the ropes and he frowns, and dean picks up on something there. sam doesn't talk about it and dean doesn't ask. there's a gravity in that frown.
and then one night when they're in between hunts, when things are quiet, when they're not fighting for once, sam asks dean to braid his hair. he can't, or won't, articulate why he wants this, but dean agrees anyway. it's not like he's never done it before, but this feels different, somehow, like he can't mess this up. so sam sits between dean's legs and lets dean run his fingers through his hair, and sam takes a deep breath and relaxes into it and pretends—what is it he pretends? he hasn't figured it out, not yet. he wears the braid as long as he can, until the hair pulls out and gets knotted and ratty and he has to take a shower. dean makes fun of him for it and sam rolls his eyes, and they keep looking for new hunts.
it's not until they've had sex on four different occasions that sam, between breathless kisses down dean's neck, finally asks if dean will call him a girl. dean doesn't think much of anything of it, and that's exactly what sam was banking on. the night is filled with good girl and pretty girl and sweet girl and all sorts of embarrassing monikers, but despite how cringe dean is with his performances sam revels in it, and something that had been long-buried finally surfaces and clicks in his—her—mind.
but she keeps it to the bedroom (and the impala, and the gas station bathroom, and the graveyard on one memorable occasion) for the longest time because she doesn't know how to approach the topic, doesn't know how dean will react, doesn't know if this is even something she's allowed to have. boys can't be girls, dad had said all those years ago, and maybe he was right about that. girl is something so foreign to sam anyway, and she doesn't really know the first thing about them. except that, maybe, she wants to defy her father one last time.
(when she finally tells dean, he blames himself thinking it was their fucked-up dirty talk that got his little brother all confused. and sam reassures him that no, that's not how it works, and dean doesn't quite believe her, and sam takes advantage of that chink in his armor to weasel her—her—way back into dean's heart. and the first time he calls sam his sister, she feels something right, for the first time in her life.)
Oh my god Ciel I'm platonically giving you so many forehead kisses!!!!!
Okok so, I agree, I think honestly based on the canon representation of Sam, I think (she)he just wouldn't really have access to the idea much, and it would just shuffle in with the rest of the "I'm different/wrong/not right" that he would have for his whole life.
I think honestly Sam could go about her whole life without it really sticking what this different/not right/wrong feeling was, and keeps it shoved down or just accepts that it's always gonna be there amid the other different/wrong/not rights, and I think following canon as closely as possible, it always was that way.
Sam settled into the hunting life, he settled into his existence with Dean, and he settled into the not right feeling as just a part of existence, and he(she) never fully figured it out.
But I adore the idea that she did figure it out!!!!! And that Dean was there to help her, in his own honestly bumbling ways!!!!!!
And Dean braiding her haaaaiiiiiiiir (╥﹏╥) I love it, so much
#thank you for indulging me even though its not your personal headcannon!!!!!!#(≧▽≦)♡((≧▽≦)♡(≧▽≦)♡#asks answered
