eden has exiled people before. there have been people who have been caught doing not good things ( abusive, contraband ring, association to the angels, etc. ) and eden has had to come together and exile that person to outside of the walls. no matter how beloved they may be within the community. they will lock the person up in a quarantine room inside of medical until the next time eden opens their walls like clockwork, and then walk with the person to ensure that they leave and become exiled.

#headcanon.#eden doesn't just... take in people left and right.#they have to pass a questionnaire; quarantine; and training process.#which is why when it leaked that aiden was a part of the angels group; especially after hal and a few others were tortured by them;#aiden was quickly BANNED.#which also kick starts the inevitable war against the angels because aiden brings the angels to eden's front doors.#and people may think! oh! being outside isn't THAT bad!#but the uglies aren't slow; they're fast; ruthless; and can even stalk their prey before feasting.#and it's SCARY when you are stripped from what little resources you had to begin with at the end of the world.#and its just AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH.
