Tetra's "Zelda" form is a sort of embodiment of the soul of Zelda, which is reborn throughout eternity to play a role in the destruction of evil. This almost makes the transformation more unnerving... as if Tetra's been possessed by a part of herself she had no idea lay dormant. She often wonders if there is a version of her that's more "real" than the other.

I absolutely adore the irony, how Legend is literally kidnapped and he thinks of it as his closest vacation. I also love the facial expression, he looks so done and I am all for it. I also LOVE the rope, I generally don’t know why but the way that it shows how a rope actually curves around a person is just AAA. I enjoy this art style in general and I hope you enjoy this work as much as I enjoyed writing it :)

Legend was not expecting this situation.

He was not expecting his cockiness to catch up to him, he was not expecting to be sent to Hylia knows where, he was not expecting to be tied together with a rope, hanging above this unfamiliar world. 

The breeze blew mockingly at him, his straight hair swaying wearily at the wind. His mind couldn’t help but wander, reminding himself of the captain and his ever so long hair routine. 

Time seemed to slow down, the rope rocking in the zephyr slower, feeling as if it was coming to a complete stop. His eyes twitched like a ticking clock, waiting, and waiting.

Was this how Zelda felt? Whoops. 

His childhood was zapped from him too soon, forced into the world of battle and adrenaline. The adventurer found himself forgetting the better days, just living as a kid, not a hero, not in dystopia. The memories grew distant, just brushing his fingertips before they got out of reach. 

“Sadly,” He yelled into the void of nothingness, “This is the closest I’ve had to a vacation in years.” He wished he could pray for someone to listen to his complaints, but his desire to believe was lost long ago. He allowed himself to scream, for his voice to echo across the area. There was no home left for him, no more people to suffer with, nowhere to go, nowhere to comeback to.

Legend was all alone.

She’d spent the day interviewing the villagers for what felt like the hundredth time, trying to glean more information from them regarding the mysterious boy, Link. It wasn’t surprising that they all told her the same thing–he was extraordinarily talented at swordplay, a dead shot with the bow (she could speak to both of those from her own firsthand experience), and the most altruistic person who’d ever roamed the fields and forests of Hyrule.

i have to admit, i'm a little disappointed that eow puppet link was just an evil clone.

i mean, it makes sense that he would be. the rifts echoing things they suck in is a major plot point. echo zelda is also a major plot point. nothing ever indicates the rifts/null have the ability to mind control/puppet people. it makes total sense that regular link is fine while an echo of him fights zelda.

it's just disappointing.

like- compare it to zelda's history as an unwilling antagonist. think of puppet zelda in tp and possessed zelda in st. i would've liked something a little more like that for link, where it's actually link being forced to fight you and not just an echo. that feels like it would have been more... idk, dramatic? like it would have had more feeling to it.

i do not care about eow echo link at all. i will sic 1 million birds on him without hesitation, because it's just some guy. not even that! it's just some manifestation of magic in the shape of a guy! like... the drama of puppet/possessed zelda fights, where it's really her but she's being forced to fight you? that's so interesting. there's so much feeling. so much character drama! but alas. it's only an echo. i'll sic 1 million birds on him and move on i guess

Picture this, so remember how in LU where Twilight got his shet utterly rocked by Dink? I'm not sure if my brain just says that Dink totally took some of his blood or if that never happened. Doesn't matter because for this fic it DID happen.

So, Dink can now morph into looking like Twilight.

He knows he needs to play things safe if he decides to go after the heroes again. However when he does decide to go after them again he ends up in the wrong place..

With the wrong heroes.

Now I'm not sure of this roster just yet but here's who I am considering. Rhythm (Cadence of Hyrule Link), of course. Engie (or whatever I will decide for Spirit Tracks Link). And quite possibly, Rift (Echoes of Wisdom Link).

I'm thinking Age of Calamity Link may also show up as well. But more so later.

I think Rhythm and maybe Rift my notice something right off the back. If not, I imagine Rhythm will say something privately or find out himself somehow later.

Either way, a fight happens. That is when I think AoC Link would be arrive and Dink would be so pissed at him for being there after what Wild did.

That is really all I have at the moment..
