The most fascinating thing to me about the current aimros arc

Is realising that tr!Aimsey came back wrong, and is acting a lot like tr!Ros (cheerful, extra-energetic + the boops that they definitely didn't use to do before, "what a day to be alive")

And at the same time, tr!Ros is acting a lot like tr!Aimsey (more subdued, quieter, almost lethargic + now poisoning themselves, a very un-Ros-like behaviour but a very Aimsey-like one)

And without tr!Aimsey's behaviour, it'd be easy to write off the way tr!Ros is acting to grief (I certainly did to begin with)

But hey, remember that life transfer?

I can't help but wonder if something more than just a life was transferred.

i find the whole ‘lucifer represents femininity while michael represents masculinity’ thing so interesting because like from a non-white perspective it’s the exact opposite. michael’s the quintessential female/sister figure in any asian story— runs the proverbial house with an iron fist, filial piety to the power of a billion, raises the kids, overlooked by the dad figure, doesn’t rebel, doesn’t question anything, the likes. meanwhile lucifer’s the quintessential male figure— he’s allowed to argue and rebel (created for it, in fact), he’s the father’s (creator’s) favourite despite being the one to oppose and challenge him, and he has a level of free will and freedom that michael never has/gets. this isn’t even considering the whole ‘lucifer parallels chuck while michael parallels amara’ theory (which im unsurprisingly a fan of) and the whole ‘sam (lucifers vessel) is chuck’s favourite punching bag’ thing vs ‘chuck has a psychosexual obsession with dean (michael)’ thing which brings up plenty of opportunities for a jungian/freudian examination of all this

idk it’s so so so fascinating how individual cultural experiences revolving around race and gender can shape these kinds of things. also not discounting the conflicting imagery of all this (for example michael being associated with fire, classic yang symbolism, while lucifer’s associated with ice, which is yin. but at the same time lucifer’s a very active character and associated with light while michael’s incredibly passive, which are yang and yin traits respectively) and how multiple interpretations can be true at the same time i just think psychoanalysing angels through the lens of gender (and lack thereof) is neat :)

Got infinitely sad about the fact that I never finished Sarkaat's Inquisition playthrough so I jumped into the free Veilguard CC to give him some of the respect he deserves.

None of the backgrounds really fit him but Qunari Crow has been living in my head rent free, ESPECIALLY because Sarkaat's a warrior. "the Crows are masters of stealth" NO, he is breaking down your door in the middle of the day and coming for you. You WILL see him coming. From a mile away.

Also "Sarkaat de Riva" is so funny. The fact that the Crow backstory is you fighting the Antaam. The thought that I can spin this as Sarkaat ditching the Inquisition halfway through because they won't let him go full fight club so he just goes and does it himself. What a man.

I think Rhythm and maybe Rift my notice something right off the back. If not, I imagine Rhythm will say something privately or find out himself somehow later.

Either way, a fight happens. That is when I think AoC Link would be arrive and Dink would be so pissed at him for being there after what Wild did.
