TBH I think my biggest issue with Null is purely the name. Like 'endlessly consuming cosmic horror' is a little odd of an addition to the LOZ franchise but not jarringly so and I think it's fun. But the name 'Null' just sounds so sci-fi and feels really out of place compared to names like Nayru/Farore/Din/Hylia/Demise/etc. If Null had been named something like the Nothing or the Quiet I think I'd be fully on board for it as an antagonist/lore addition.

I have a very specific vision of Echoes of Wisdom Zelda and Link where Zelda summons a bunch of pot echoes and lets Link just go wild smashing them. I think they should get to do that.

Also minor complaint but I really dislike the way the UI in TOTK and especially Echoes of Wisdom doesn't even try to look like it belongs in the game. Its aesthetic completely clashes with the artstyle of its respective games and looks more like something out of a sci-fi game with lots of screens and technology than two high fantasy games. At least TOTK has the excuse of the Purah Pad actually being a piece of high tech technology. EOW Zelda is supposedly writing those echoes down in a paper notebook. Why does it look like that. Why is aesthetically interesting UI being phased out of even video games. Minimalist black boxes are not going to fuck you.

Even if I would like there to be more games where we could play as Zelda, I do not wish her to replace Link. It would be amazing if they could save Hyrule together and you could switch between them whenever you want!
