Random #eattherainbow Buddha Bowls for dinner. I kind of feel like I’m getting a flu so I basically threw all fighting flu ingredients in this bowl which means, antioxidant rich- esp. vitamin C. plus cleansing- ingredients. So we have - cooked lentils with Barberry: The Heart-Healthy Herb that Cleanses Your Gut, Liver & Gallbladder - one whole bunch of Parsley, - kale, - spinach, - radicchio, - juniper berry, - strawberries, - cucumber (hydration) - carrots (wouldn’t be me without), - sweet potato, - tomato - avocado - Hemp seeds, pumpkin seeds, sesame seeds - and a lemon drizzle . - This spread aside is my silken tofu mayonnaise from the blog. #eatwithannelina You can find a Video about these bowl in my story. Cinnamon-Apple Porridge with warm berries, soy Yoghurt, Granola, Almond Butter, Cacao Nibs, and almond flakes. Yesterday was the official SUMMER START. Perfect in time, it got so cold again in Berlin that I feel like warm porridge already. Here are my 5 porridge Steps to hopefully turn everyone into a porridge lover: * Step 1: Stove Top vs. Microwave Step 2: For a creamier texture, add in 1/2 mashed banana or zucchini while cooking (I do it with my raw oats too) Step 3: Get fruity while adding fresh or frozen berries Step 4: Lost in the Sauce- add this nut butter drizzle or applesauce. Step 5: Munch With A Crunch. Just nuts, cacao nibs, granola or all together makes your porridge in a simple way so much better. the good conscious plate I ate today after all the banana cake, muffins, nicecreams and other treats from the shoot. xd… This is an almost basic hummus spread. Just some replacements -> instead of chickpeas I used white beans with aqaufaba, tahin, lemon, cumin and harissa, my top to go spice when in comes to bean spreads. Do you make your own hummus? Do you eat with CHOPSTICKS? If you are a fast eater, this might be your thing to slow down. Imagine yourself, to get a big bite of food to your mouth with chopsticks, or eating super fast. It doesn’t matter how skilled you are, you can’t do it. Using chopsticks forces you to slow down, take smaller portions, resting in between bites and giving your tummy a chance to tell your brain that it’s getting full. Yes, it takes longer but it’s an important break. Allow yourself to simply enjoy a bit longer. BTW this was today’s dinner and it took us 2,5 hours cause both of us @karolinasobanska and I a slow eaters.
