Four new Places We Have Loved prints coming soon!
In preparation for Eastown Streetfair this Saturday, I spent a good chunk of last week on three new drawings of iconic Eastown landmarks (Billy's, Wolfgang's, and Yesterdog) and for the first time I will also be releasing prints of my 2022 illustration of Brick Road Pizza Co. These new prints and a big restock of all my previous Grand Rapids buildings will be available starting Saturday September 7, either in person at the Eastown Streetfair market (and other events this month) or at studiohromi.com/shop.

What color shirt is your mom wearing today? >> ---
Do you put ketchup on your burgers? >> Sometimes, but most often I use mustard. On my veggie burgers at home I definitely use ketchup because I have the ketchup I like.

Name a celebrity with the first name Mario. >> Er... hmm. I can’t think of any right now.
Does any part of your body hurt right now? >> No.
What is your favorite quote? >> I haven’t started that Evernote file yet. One day I’ll have it!
Who is your favorite poet? >> I don’t have one, but I think Rainer Maria Rilke is a contender. We’ll see after I finally read one of his books.
Do you like Greek Mythology? >> Yeah.
When was the last time you had Pepsi? >> I don’t remember. It was probably in a mixed drink, whenever it was.
Do you have an alarm clock, or do you use your phone? >> I use my phone.

Michele Bosak is Curator of Exhibitions at Kendall College of Art and Design. I photographed Michele in her tastefully appointed Eastown home office—along with her cute doggy, Petey—for the "Look + Feel" section in the September issue of Grand Rapids Magazine! Like with many other professionals across the country (and world), this year's pandemic shutdown has sprung up many dedicated home office spaces to accommodate social distancing guidelines. Instead of camping out with a laptop on the couch or at the dining room table, may as well put something together that's a little more permanent, because who knows how long this will last!
