Hey there, I'm Chelsea Lee, an art major at Auburn Academy. I'm currently a 20 year old sophomore.

Chelsea smiled gently at her, glancing down at her hand. "Remind me to draw you in one of my comics, okay?" she smiled before looking around at the diner. "The most run down places are the best I've found," she chuckled, following her inside. "I trust your judgement anyways."
Grabbing a Coffee | Bennett & Chelsea
"I’m sorry about your mom." Bennett said as she reached across and gave Chelsea’s hand a reassuring squeeze. “Well you’ve got one fan whatever you do, sat in this car." she replied with a smile. As the traffic lights turned green Bennett turned left and moments later they were parked outside the old diner. “I swear to god Penny’s is the best place to go for anything. It looks old on the outside but wait until you see the inside." Bennett said as she led Chelsea inside the diner.

Hey, you do what you can. It helped pay the bills and was more fun than adding another job onto my plate.
That’s cool, not many people would do that.

Chelsea nodded, crossing her legs. "Yeah. My brother wasn't old enough to legally take care of me and my mom passed away when I was 16," she said, looking down at her legs before picking her head up. "I'll be happy as long as I have even just one comic book on the shelves or I'll open my own so I can be among them and spread the joy they give me," she nodded.
Grabbing a Coffee | Bennett & Chelsea
"You have foster parents?" Bennett asked. She’d always been a big believer in sticking together as a family and back home she didn’t know anyone who didn’t have at least one biological parent. Suddenly embarrassed about what she’d said she added. “I hardly doubt you’ll become a starving artist. You’re paintings will be all over the world some day." Bennett said with a smile, trying to lighten the mood.

Chelsea nodded, grinning. "I can see it. That's good for you, following your dreams. My foster parents told me I was going to end up a starving artist," she shrugged. Chelsea swayed along to the song, singing along to herself. "Rock is the best in my opinion," she nodded, looking up at the light.
Grabbing a Coffee | Bennett & Chelsea
"Comic books? I mean that’s really cool."Bennett said with a wide smile. “One day I guess I want to be a professional dancer going on tour with people like Beyonce, you know?" Most people thought she was made for wanting to go into an industry where she’d go months, even years without work until something came up. “Rock’s cool. I like Rock." Bennett replied as she listened to song, tapping out the drum beats with her thumbs on the steering wheel when they stopped at the traffic lights, just before they had to turn right for the diner.

I busked some when I was in high school I guess.
Oh right….I mean it’s cool if you do because not many people can. It’s kinda unique.

Chelsea nodded, smiling. "Art's been my passion since I was really little. I hope to go into the comic book industry," she shrugged. She chuckled softly, sliding into her seat. "Thank, ma'am," she grinned when she got the remote, going on to click through the stations. "Sorry, I'm indecisive musically," she smiled before settling on a rock station. "I hope you don't mind rock music."
Grabbing a Coffee | Bennett & Chelsea
"Oh I’m a dance major. I wasn’t really good at anything else in high school." Bennett admitted with a smile. The girl beside her seemed to be so confident and Bennett only wished that she could be the same. As they came to her car Bennett unlocked the doors and opened the passenger side for Chelsea. “Your carriage awaits." she said with a ridiculous smile. As she climbed into her car she turned on the radio and handed Chelsea the remote so she could pick something to listen to while she drove to the diner.

Chelsea pulled her hair back, walking in step with Bennett. She wasn't one to turn down coffee in any instance, even if she had a class that could possibly intervene. She looked over at the other girl with a slight smile. "I'm a visual arts major," she shrugged, brushing her hair out of her eyes. "Hence the paint under my nails at the moment." She tilted her head slightly. "What's yours?"
Grabbing a Coffee | Bennett & Chelsea
Before she left Toronto her mom had told her that if she made one friend on her first day then she was doing okay and Bennett had no intention of being the new girl for very long. She planned to take Chelsea to a diner that she’d stopped off at when she was on her way to Auburn Academy. From the outside Penny’s looked like a bit of a dive but when you went inside you knew that this place was a classic All-American diner. As she walked with Chelsea towards her car in the student parking lot she figured that it would be best to get to know her. “So what’s your major?” she asked with a smile. Bennett would’ve guessed that Chelsea’s major would be something like art or music because she looked like a creative person. But as she’d already discovered, people where hard to predict at Auburn

Oh my fucking god. Look, either leave her alone, or get your extensions ripped out. I think you were describing yourself when you said "bitter and dull," because I am anything but. You're just too much of a pretentious bitch to really care about anyone but yourself and you're not gonna go far, kid. So crawl on back to wherever the fuck you came from and leave Bennett alone, even if she is defending me. It's called being a friend, by the way. Not being an idiot
Don’t say that about Chelsea! If you actually spent time with her you’d know that she’s a really nice person and a talented artist. But you don’t do that do you Savannah? If we don’t fit your mould then you don’t care.

Classy insults. You totally wounded me.
Find joy? Do you have nothing better to do Savannah? I thought a girl like you would be in an expensive coffee shop with all her girl friends gossiping about nothing. I guess I like doing things where the world doesn’t revolve around anything but the sun….

Savannah, fuck off. If you wanna fuck with someone, fuck with me. Leave Bennett alone. At least she's going somewhere and isn't relying strictly on ego and cheap low blows to tear people down and cast them out. Also, if you got rid of all the "trash," why am I still here? Riddle me that.

I guess I like doing things where the world doesn’t revolve around anything but the sun. I’m not week and I’m not scared but thanks for the wasted warning.
