I really liked this exhibit for the eastern diamondback rattlesnake! It was quite large and was divided to have a forest-y soil / leaf litter / wetland section and a sandy section. I love when zoos (and hobbyists!) provide their animals with lots of choices to make with regards to their environment.

Okay okay so imagined moon as a cottonmouth or some snake similar to it because cottonmouths have a dark body, bit of a lighter belly and a white mouth (hence the name) and YES I KNOW COTTONMOUTHS ARNT RATTLESNAKES SHHHSHSHSH I TOOK CREATIVE LIBRARIES

And then I imagined sun as either an eastern diamondback rattlesnake or a banana ball python so I drew a kinda mix of the two
