Erstkontakte außerhalb der eigenen vier Wände, am Fahrradständer im noch leeren Keller. Schon wieder zwischen den Realitäten, mit vager Ahnung vom neuen Tag und kaum Erinnerungen der zurückliegenden Nacht. Im anderen Viertel rollt der Hausmeister große Mülltonnen über den Fußweg, die erste Zigarette im Mundwinkel und einen knappen Gruß nickend. Auch heute dichtes Grau, von Horizont zu Horizont, nur über dem höchsten Teil des Büroblocks zeigen sich vorsichtige helle Spuren, umgleiten die Fassaden, lassen Architektur und Augenblick unwirklich traumgleich erscheinen. (Zweiter Kaffee. Noch ein paar Worte in der Küche, zum Geleit. Manches trägt jeder für sich, manches teilt man. Auch im Brunnenbüro etliche Stockwerke über dem Beton. Habt es mild heute!)

seriously have been thinking about this all night long. call me autistic but the fact that 90% of workplaces the point is not to get your work done and then be done doing it but to instead perform an elaborate social dance in which you find something to do even when you're done doing everything you need to do in order to show your fellow workers that you, too, are Working . because you are at Work . disgusting why cant we all agree that if there is no work immediately to be done. we just dont do anything

The Stand-in Job

Danny loved his job. It was an easy on call job he got rather on accident. But it paid well and gave him enough time to deal with ghost matters outside of scheduled work hours.

Though now he got stuck in a situation his Boss had not provided him with a script and or explanation how to behave for.

Danny was a simple Stand-in. Sort of like a Stuntman kind of job. His boss was paying him to simple take his place during public appearances, or meetings with no big decision he has to sit through just to listen. Or on the easiest of days, to just sit in his boss office so it appears that someone is there while his boss was doing who knows what. Danny doesn't question, that's why his boss liked him.

But again, no where in his contract was described how he was supposed to handle this situation. So now he was stuck having beat up a couple of wannabe kidnappers and some vigilantes talking to him all casually going on and on how 'Tim', his boss, wasn't supposed to do that to not risk his public image. Should he record this as evidence for his Boss? It sounded like these vigilantes were spilling some of his boss' secrets that shouldn't be known to the public.

Tim just needed someone to sit in his place to make it appear like he was there when he had cases to work through. Danny was the perfect hire for it and Tim liked very much that Danny doesn't ask questions, like he understood. Yet when Danny sent him a text questioning how he should behave as Stand-in in front of Gotham's vigilantes.... Tim wasn't sure if he should feel offended or highly amused about his siblings not realizing that the one kidnapped in public hadn't been Tim but his Stand-in Danny.

isn't it weird how if you get up at 7 or 8, do your work all day, then have free time and go to bed at 11 that's absolutely fine

but if i said i get up at 10, do fun stuff in the morning then work in the evening and go to bed late, i could be called lazy, nevermind that i'm getting just as much or MORE work done as i would in a traditional work day

Noch, wieder Randbereiche der Dunkelheit. In der Nachbarschaft hallt vielfaches Kratzen auf Scheiben und Steinen, Straße und Kreuzung sind noch fast leer an diesem Morgen. Krümelkaffee und Heimbüro. Feine Spinnweben im Augenwinkel, zitternd in der aufsteigenden warmen Heizungsluft. Staub auf der Fensterbank. Manchmal fallen diese kleine Unwägbarkeiten der näheren Umgebung plötzlich und unvermittelt auf, und dann bekommt man sie nicht mehr ungesehen, bleibt mit jedem zweiten Blick daran hängen, beginnt den Tag mit Aktivitäten, die weder geplant noch erwünscht, aber notwendig sind. (Auch: E-Mails umformulieren. Termine im Kalender in Reihenfolge bringen. Immer wieder überlegen, ob Lücken dazwischen eher groß oder eher klein sein sollten. Sehr banale Probleme und trotzdem ohne gute Antwort. Habt es mild heute!)

perfect morning routine 💗

1. wake up early (5:30-6:30 am): start the day off with waking up early to make your mornings feel less rushed.

2. hydrate (5 minutes): drink a glass of water to kickstart your metabolism and rehydrate after a night’s sleep.

3. yoga (10-15 minutes): a short yoga session can help loosen muscles and improve blood flow.

4. meditation (5-10 minutes): practicing deep breathing to center your mind and reduce stress for the day ahead.

5. exercise (20-30 minutes): moderate workouts like a jog, bodyweight exercises, or cycling to boost your energy levels and release endorphins.

6. healthy breakfast (20 minutes): aim for a balance of protein, fiber, and healthy fats. (if you take daily vitamins, do it after having breakfast)

7. shower/skin care (15-20 minutes): refresh yourself and do your skincare routine.

8. daily intentions/scheduling (5 minutes): write and/or vocalize your priorities or goals for the day. you can use a calendar or a journal. this will help you with getting all important things done.

all 8 steps do not need to be done every day but consistency brings the best results!! this routine will leave you feeling energized with a clear mind to start the day!!
