I finally finished the timeline!!

Yay!!

For those who don’t know, I have been working on a very extensive timeline of eah including every single chapter from every book, every webisode, ever diary chapter and every special.

I’m not saying it’s perfect and if anyone wants to tell me that’s somethings in the wrong place I am totally up for criticism.

i keep planning to figure out everyone's class schedules as best as i can and then procrastinating lol.

Darling didn't tell Apple about the kiss right away.

Apple ALMOST figured it out on its own

Eventually, Darling finally told her, and she was like "Well at this point it was kind of obvious"

Usually, Apple is scared of "trying new things" but this time it feels more intriguing

Darling was 100% the kiss would upset Apple or else that she has ruined her Happily ever after, she kind of apologised to her. But Apple has changed her perception of happy ending.

Eventually, all of this is sudden for Apple, so Apple said that she didn't know if she liked Darling back (yet), but that she wanted to find out

They continued the feature of "A time of wonder" together, and have study dates

Then they wanted to expand the feature by analizing other stories and fairytales. They also do it by watching movies together (eheheh) and "analize" it

Their first outings were not in very romantic places, both wanted to be as chill as possible with eachother

Apple is always consulting her friends for love advice(Briar,Raven and Ashlynn are so done with her)and Darling taking "revenge" on Dexter because he was always consulting her for Raven.

Darling has been a special guest in Cupid's podcast multiple time. And any reference she makes to Apple White is purely coincidental.

(Darling doesn't know that, but Apple is taking love advice also by Cupid)

Darling loves carrying Apple in bridal style

Apple thinks Darling is perfect,like, phisically and morally and EVERYTHING. The perfect princess, she would say.

Darling loves Apple plump body ♡

"Look at that big æss ,look at that juicy bœty"😏 -Darling

Apple calls her "Darling" as a petname than remembers it's her actual name (it happens often)

Darling flirts with words and vey often, she actually treat Apple like a princess (even in pubblic lmao get a room)

The princess flirts more with gestures and "body language" (she did it before too, but she didn't even realize it)

They both love books, they pledge in the research of knowledge.

That's it lmao, but is not much of a problem

Apple is a mess, though she has all the self confidence in the whole world she worries about being nice enough and to have a pleasent presentation(hair,outfit ecc...)

Darling has grown through time, they're kiss gave her more confidence,but still, she's a mess too.

To most of people, Apple looks like a born out gifted queen or even a selfish person, to Darling she's strong minded but also someone she wants protecc because too innocent for this world </3

Apple once bought a bag of candies and marshmallows, as she picked up a marshmallow to eat it she saw that its colors were simular to Darling's palette. She now managed to call her like that.

Their first kiss was so natural, no pressure of destiny or anything else. Just pure love.

Both their family are not very happy about their relationship

First comes Snow White, she is obsessed with "carry on the lineage" and of course Darling and Apple can't have kids and Snow doesn't want to even hear about adoption

Second comes King Charming, he's not upset because they are gurls, "just" doesn't understand why not his son Daring

Darling and Apple eventually started dating even harder (and help eachother to fight back their parents)

Now Apple can't even look at Darling's face without placing kisses because "She has such a kissable face"

It has been made to my awareness that in the books the wonderland curse is made to be an old one while in the show it’s portrayed as a more recent one. So my logic to marry these two pieces of information together is that the Evil Queen put the curse on wonderland a long time ago but was unable to complete it. It wasn’t until later on just before she got captured that she tried completing the curse on Wonderland (maybe as like a final act or her finally having the information to finish the spell) pushing the wonderlandians to ever after high and sealing the portals. Leaving everything as is giving as the foundation for the wonderland arc in the show.

We decided this happens like right before the Big Plot Shit happens in the AU and instead of being a festival it's Hermie's Birthday !!! The cursed riddlebook is a gift from Scam that Hermie gives to Scary instead bc he doesn't rlly care about it, which . turns out to be a very bad idea. The curse quickly spreads throughout the school reversing everyone's personalities and causing Normal to try and pretty much end the world.

This arc is Hermie and Taylor focused !!! :D Although it is really fun to think about the reverse teens running rampant NWVEGWHAAHA reverse norm is a little treat for me <3 but reverse Link is SO INCREDIBLY FUNNY . shoutout to this message from @happi-tree bc it's been burned into my memory and I cant stop laughing about it

When it comes to the curse we decided that bonds and skills stay the same but the personalities are inverted, which means reverse Scary being sooo attached and clingy to Hermie is just her personality changing the way she decides to communicate her affection for who she sees as her best friend. Its cute <3

Herm is SUPER on edge due to being incredibly irritated with his dad and feeling insecure about his friendship with Taylor, who's having a bit of a crisis on his own about his feeling about Link. Toss in their shared homesickness for Wonderland, a realm they can't go back to, and Taylor panicking over a gift his mom left him going missing, well it's not good for anyone. How are they gonna figure things out enough to save Ever After from destruction?

Within series canon at least I think it’s right, I’m going to have to watch it in order to make sure there’s nothing out of place.

The next step is adding the books + diaries which I think will mean shuffling around the order.

You might be thinking that that won’t work because the books conflict and are a different timeline. But there’s a perfectly good explanation for that … I just haven’t thought of it yet.

I don’t have any real preferred endgame ships for Daring. I like Darabella more than the average tumblr EAH account and I love Dizzie but in a very different way than most shippers, I think.

Whenever I’m in my comfort place (my post canon extension based on Athena-xox’s amazing timeline (all time fave post. Truly an amazing accomplishment)) I like imagining that Daring will consciously decide to stay single and NOT mingle for a while, until he has come to terms with certain things. And I like imagining that Rosabella will be there for him, but rather as a friend with some unacted romantic chemistry. I want to believe that everything that happened since Legacy Day, culminating in his abrupt change of imagined destiny will trigger a more pensive side of him. And here’s when Lizzie comes. I want him to slowly become aware of how much he hurt her, even when it was never his intention.

I know this is a franchise made to sell dolls at tweens so it’s weird to get this dark about it, but let’s do this for the sake of my fantasies.

I feel like Daring has been hypersexualised and objectified through most of his life. His place as the most Charming of all the Charmings has turned him into a figure of lust and of status even before he was really aware of what those words meant.

The hypersexualisation can be seen through the recurrent jokes about girls fawning over him, following him, his dashing smile, and I honestly feel like Sparrow’s dare that lead to the entire thing with Lizzies was also based on that etc., etc., etc.,

When it comes to the objectification I think Duchess obsession with him is a good example. In NTV it becomes clear that she is not truly in love with him and when he scorns her she even daydreams about being the one able to reject him. Daring is not much of a real person to her. He is a symbol. He is the best of princes who saves his Princess and gets the two to live happily ever after. Everything that Duchess longs for and is denied.

To a lesser extent I also think that Ravens reaction to him (apparently) writing her a love poem could also be an example of this. Even if she has never been interested in Daring and has actually described her type as his opposite she still takes this as an accomplishment of some way.

Just to clarify: by no means do I blame neither Duchess nor Raven for this. They aren’t really at fault. This is more of a societal issue.

So, as he now realises all this things about his life, I want him to remember Lizzie. In my Sparchess heart the two are talking and Sparrow asks him about that one date Daring & Duchess had and after that a rush of unprocessed memories come at Daring and he can’t stop thinking about what he did to Lizzie for at least a week.

I want him to stay up away at night and cringe at himself wondering if an actual apology would be welcomed or not. It would make him feel better, sure, but is it Lizzie or his guilt conscience whom he wants to console? I want him to remember things about Lizzie that he otherwise didn’t think of very often. I want him to suddenly tell all of this to Rosabella only for her to feel disappointed and conflicted. I want Lizzie to catch him looking at her during lunch with a strangely contemplative expression and to turn away in apparent apathy only for her to be weirdly sad for the rest of the day and remember how isolated and betrayed she felt not only by Daring but also by Duchess.

Still in shock that they took all the songs down BECAUSE??? IT JUST LEAVES US WITH MORE QUESTIONS THAN ANSWERS???

I KNOW?? Like okay here’s everything weird about the situation because it’s only 7 am I feel like I need lay it all out to process this. So, timeline time I guess! (I combined several images into one a few times bc of Tumblr’s 10 image per post limit but I hope everything still makes sense)

Starting January 5, the Ever After High Spotify (and Apple Music I guess although I was only checking the Spotify) began posting songs as singles. The first was called “Can’t Get Me Down” which had a screenshot of Raven from the episode “Rebel’s Got Talent” as the album cover.

Following that, two weeks later, on January 19, we get a song called “Unbreakable” which also has a screenshot of Raven from the show, from the “The Tale of Legacy Day” episode. At this point the songs are gaining attraction because what the heck, Ever After High content in 2024? Is it coming back?

People are also pointing out that Mattel renewed their licenses for some Ever After High stuff, but also companies do that all the time and I think they did it specifically for their webisodes so that they couldn’t be reposted/reuploaded to YouTube or whatever by a party that wasn’t them. It makes sense (Also I can’t actually verify which if any things they did actually renew because all I heard was people claiming that I never saw any proof)

Also at this point, both songs have given Allison Bloom composing credit, which fans thought made sense since Allison Bloom was also a composer on Ever After High content before

ONE week after “Unbreakable”, instead of two like last time, on January 26, we get the third song, Destiny, with a screenshot of promo art for the Epic Winter storyline of Briar, Crystal, Ashlynn, and Rosabella. Once again, composing credit to Allison Bloom. People are so confused, lots of people are reaching out to Mattel’s social media trying to make sense of it all. Also this song in particular had the trademark misspelled as “Ever Aftert High” which could be the reason for something happening later

Actually, before Destiny was released, someone on Reddit apparently got in contact with Bloom and asked if she had any insight as to what was up with the songs, and Bloom said, “I honestly don't know because I am not currently working on the project. Your note was the first I had heard of it. Wish I had more to tell you!” which led people to suspect Mattel was making AI generated songs but using Bloom’s name to release them, possibly because they still had a contract with her (though that is purely speculation)

Same Redditor also emailed Mattel customer support, who gave a very corporate response, but in their email used the phrase “AI-generated songs uploaded to the EAH Spotify list” blatantly calling the music AI generated in this email

One week after “Destiny”, on February 2, we get “Brand New Day” which is another single with another screenshot from the show as the cover, this time of Crystal Winter from the Epic Winter episodes

Three days after “Brand New Day”, on February 5, people realize that “Destiny” has been taken down, but ONLY Destiny. Some speculate this is due to the typo in the trademark upon release. The rest stay up

One week after “Brand New Day”, on February 9, the song “Forever Friends” with art of Raven and Apple as the cover is uploaded

Later that same day on February 9, “Forever Friends” and all the other remaining songs, “Brand New Day”, “Unbreakable”, and “Can’t Get Me Down” have all been taken off the Spotify (and Apple Music) list

SOME EAH QUESTIONS

Okay, I need someone to answer this for me because I am genuinely confused. Let’s use Briar’s/Sleeping Beauty’s story for example. She’s sleeping for her hundred years, but who is her destined prince?(I ship BriBelle with my soul so obviously not a prince, but we’ll push that aside for now)Would they have been born with the next generations of legacy’s or her own? Because there is no way that said prince would have been preserved either. Or is it this like “they leave their original world for their stories to start” kinda thing? How does the timeline work here??

ANOTHER QUESTION. Let’s use Hopper’s/The Princess and the Frog’s story this time. So, the Princess and Hopper have their story, and then they get married and have their legacy’s and children. How does that work? Like- does the future “Princess” marry her “brother”??(quotations cuz gender isn’t exactly decided for future legacy’s) or is it like an affair with another person to make sure that the individual parent has their legacy? I could be overthinking everything but if someone could pretty plz explain.
