HEIJI WAS SOOOOO COOL. HANDSOME. TERRIFIC. the first 20 minute is just me losing my mind from all the heiji details

how the hell did heiji brought his bike with him all the way in HOKKAIDO. you can almost way osaka to tokyo is only half of the travel to hokkaido how many day trip would it take to reach that far. also a jp tweet i read once brought to question how a high schooler was able to use the high way. did he brought kazuha with her in this extreme trip? with the excuse that he's going for a kendo tournament... when his bigger agenda is to confess. everything about the bike being there doesn't make sense but i give it a pass for being cool 😁👍

and the heikazu scene.,.. i came there fully expecting to not care at all but they actually made me invested. ran was SOOOO CUTE her excitement directly influenced me to also want to see heiji succeed. heiji asking if the legendary 100 million night view is better than big ben and ran agreeing just to placate him for the sake of her otp 😭

THE STUN GRENADE! the fact that kazuha immediate reaction is to protect heiji ears.... her self sacrificial nature a call back to mermaid island in the most subtle way 🥹🥹🥹 heiji shocked eyes was so cute. and heiji confession speech isnt cringe and is actually cute! shocker! (sorry trauma from heart anniversary lines its so awful im dnfuebdjfjf) devastated such an ideal confession scene was wasted. but its from kazuha trying to save heiji SO FORGIVEN

kills me that everyone is dejected that the katana with the star shaped guard is a lost treasure. meanwhile its quitely sitting in kudo yuusaku's store room cuz his big brother gifted it to him LIKE SDJDJFF!? turning your justice leaning lil bro into an accomplices. the gag potential here is so made for me

shoutout to sonoko who took up haibara's usual information provider role. every scene with her was animated so cutely IM SHOCKED m27 doing excellent job at showing off her cuteness. there is a fun parallel to think about, sonoko was the first person heiji went to to get information on kudo's whereabout, and now heiji is also going to her for information ♥️ heiji-sonoko friendship crumb thank you for the food

this movie really play a lot with the crumbs from kendo school tournament arc. heiji-ran friendship makes me want to cry, ran efficiently karate chopping hijiri to make sure theres no distractions for heikazu 🥺😭 ive been convinced on okita's cuteness the past 3 month cuz if the okita fanart boom in my corner of jp twitter but watching it for myself... he really have it bad for heiji LMAO wdym "it's boring if hattori ain't here~" how much did you say this for kaitou kid to catch that its a good trait for an okita disguise. im glad this movie give a good balance of real okita and fake okita, m10 still makes me so sad for having ZERO real hakuba 🥲 kid's dosu e~ is so moeblob

ah i still got so many word vomit on this movie it seems to be never ending 😭😭

my final review of the movie is this is my no 1 fav conan movie of all time, 2nd place is bride of halloween. i still havent rank anything below that properly. im truly entertained by this movie it got so many characters i care about with a lot of bombastic scenes. as much as i want to say my ultimate fav is m7 and m21, both of them are kinda... slow with all the deduction talk. im here for eye candy after all 😔 mixing kid's energy is doing wonders for the tone of a heiji movie. heiji's presence is also doing wonders for KID as well cuz gosh!!! KID has never emit this much childlike moe blob energy. heiji and conan being the straight man to kid's prank is the dynamic really help to emphasize his whimsical energy

and the final theme i caught; parallelism where hijiri is willing to do anything to protect his father's legacy only for us to find that its all for naught.... now why does this sound familiar 🤔🤔🤔

rewatching the movie tomorrow so ill probably do another ramble on it

He actually made all the ninjas download Howbout so they could have easy access to eachothers schedules

Nya volunteers at the local animal shelters

Cole likes taking naps outside

His favorite spot is a tree near the monastery that has good shade

Zane prefers DC over Marvel, but X-Men over both

Kai doesn't like superhero movies

He'll watch them once with the other Ninjas, but after that he's not watching them

Kai does however love murder mysteries

Jay watches all genres, but he has a slight preference towards romcoms

Nya has a stuff animal collection, it's mostly bears

The guys are always afraid of sparring with Nya bc they'll be tired, sore, and bruised and Nya won't even be sweating

All of the ninjas and Master Wu watch Mr Poppers Penguins together on Christmas

Jay's really into photography

the camera he uses most is an Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark IV, but he has a whole collection of cameras

Nya has the most comfortable bed and the others like to nap in it

Pixal started crocheting when the ninjas were gone in season 11 as a way to cope, and the hobby just kinda stuck

Nya re-watches the Twilight Saga every time it gets stormy and rainy

They replace half a cup of flour in desserts with half a cup of protein powder

(ex: cookies call for 2 1/4 cups of flour so they add 1 3/4 cups of flour and 1/2 cup of protein powder)

They started doing it cus they were short on flour once and didn't feel like going to the store

but then the cookies tasted better so now they do for all of their desserts

"Hi everyone! My name is Julia, known as Lady Brick on Instagram and I’m from Spain.

My adventure with toy photography started in 2011 when a small Wall·E arrived at home. The toys are good for practicing photography techniques, and help me to relax my mind and are a way to escape from my daily routine.

The minifigures, sets, and accessories are a source of inspiration and also an addiction. So, for this reason, now I only shoot LEGO photos.

I like making people believe that a small toy made of plastic is alive. In fact I enjoy recreating comic situations to make people smile.

I find inspiration in everyday life, watching movies and from LEGO communities on Instagram and Flickr. My favorite subjects are the minifigures, but my works includes various themes like medieval, pirates, astronauts, movies...for example, I enjoy put the stormtroopers in unusual situations.

I currently use Olympus OMD E-M10 Mark III with 30mm macro lens with a LED panel for lighting. In my workflow, I’ll draw a sketch or write some lines just to remember the idea.

I think that details are important and for this reason, I try to collect all the things that will I need to prepare the scene.

I think about the composition and the lighting. I like to move the camera lens to the eye level of the minifigures – it helps to dive into the scene and makes it more credible."

I received my first digital camera yesterday and despite some horrific weather I have taken some shots I'm happy with and tried some editing to make them a bit more interesting.

I also shot my first role of film last week and I'm currently waiting on that to be processed.

WWTA for Messing With the Staff at Summer Camp?

Every summer when I was a kid, I (F16 now, but ~10 back then) would go to this camp with some of my friends from school (L, F10, E, M10, and H, also M10). It was a nice place, out in the woods away from the city, and I liked it a lot. But the counselors were some really eccentric people, downright freaky sometimes. (There seem to have been a lot of very eccentric people in our local area for some reason, now that I think of it.)

The first summer, the head counselor was this really hairy outdoorsy guy (M30ish, I guess?). He taught us all about the local wildlife and wilderness survival, but he was also really into telling scary campfire stories about werewolves (he could do a good impression of a wolf howl, it was pretty scary). Anyway, L and E got it into their heads that this guy was actually a werewolf himself and turning into a wolf at night, that he was going to eat us, that kind of thing. So they would go on and on about this and H and I started to believe it, too.

So the full moon comes and the hairy counselor guy was leading a full moon hike, which made L and E freak out and think that was when he was going to eat us. They looked up plants that protect against werewolves in a book and then we tried to find plants like those in the woods (but I'm sure now that they really weren't), and convinced us to sneak into his cabin and put the plants in his socks and underwear.

It turned out that whatever plants they were, he was allergic to them and got a very bad rash. We went home the day after the full moon hike and L and E were celebrating that we had saved everyone from the werewolf.

The next summer (or later that summer? It feels like we were ten for like seven years or something with how much happened to us in a year back then, so I can't really remember exactly), we went back to the camp. Werewolf Guy was still there, but now there was also a rowing coach who was into the whole pirate look and wore bandanas, had a pet parrot, a black beard, etc. I think he pushed us a little too hard with the rowing practice, but we did win the big canoeing tournament against our rival camp in the end.

But E and L of course get it into their head that this guy is actually Blackbeard (like actually Blackbeard but still alive 300 years later somehow), so they convinced us to sneak into his cabin where he had more pirate books and stuff. He had a really old document that I think might have actually been from the Age of Piracy that E and L thought was a treasure map, so they took it and we tried looking for the treasure around the camp there. We almost missed the canoe tournament looking, the Pirate Coach Guy came looking for us and we freaked out and ran from him, but once we got back and started rowing with the others, everything was fine. (Except that E crumpled and lost the old document.)

The next time we went to the camp, the Pirate Coach Guy was gone, but now there was a female track coach who was into making us run laps. She really did overdo it in the hot sun, we were on the verge of exhaustion a few times by the time she let us stop. She also definitely was in a relationship with Werewolf Guy and they were flirting all the time and kissing and talking about running away together. In hindsight that level of PDA on the job was really unprofessional.

Anyway, E and L (OF COURSE), decided she was a mermaid in human form and was trying to seduce Werewolf Guy. E decided that if he threw water on her, she would turn back into a mermaid and everyone would see. First he tried to splash her when we were swimming in the lake and she was reading on the shore, then on the last day, he actually snuck a bucket of water into the track area and threw it on her, and she freaked out, ran away, and apparently quit.

In retrospect, I realize now how heinous a lot of the things we did as kids at that camp because of E and L's beliefs about the counselors were (a lot of similar things happened to us at school and we kind of accidentally blew up our art teacher's garage once, but that's another story). But I also realize the camp staff were acting kind of unprofessional by scaring us with the werewolf stories and howls, overdoing it with the exercises, and coming on to each other right in front of us. Were we TA or were they?
