On vacation | Lake Como, Italy | May 17, 2024
Olympus 'OM-D E-M10 Mark IV' - $699.99 (starting)
It’s a bit of a running joke that you can recognize a Taylor photo by the presence of a yellow-tinged filter. The filter itself is the ‘Vintage Art Filter 1’ (alternately: ‘Fuckass Filter’) that comes as an automatic option within the physical camera body of her Olympus series camera. Taylor has carried an Olympus camera to snap personal photos for years (dating as far back as 2015).
Previously, Taylor’s Olympus was black and silver but from photos of her snapping photos with her camera on a boat in Lake Como it appears she’s updated the body to an all black style.
Worn with: Palmer//Harding trench, Cartier necklace, Versace bag, and Versace shoes

Ninjago Headcannons (pt. 3)
warnings: none🦄
Kai has a list of things he hates on his notes app
he also has one of things he loves
Lloyd uses his calander app all the time
He actually made all the ninjas download Howbout so they could have easy access to eachothers schedules
Nya volunteers at the local animal shelters
Cole likes taking naps outside
His favorite spot is a tree near the monastery that has good shade
or on the roof of the monastary
Lloyd loves Deadpool
Zane prefers DC over Marvel, but X-Men over both
Kai doesn't like superhero movies
He'll watch them once with the other Ninjas, but after that he's not watching them
Kai does however love murder mysteries
his favorites are Clue and Murder on Oriental Express(1979 not 2017)
Jay watches all genres, but he has a slight preference towards romcoms
Nya has a stuff animal collection, it's mostly bears
The guys are always afraid of sparring with Nya bc they'll be tired, sore, and bruised and Nya won't even be sweating
All of the ninjas and Master Wu watch Mr Poppers Penguins together on Christmas
Jay's really into photography
the camera he uses most is an Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark IV, but he has a whole collection of cameras

Pixal started crocheting when the ninjas were gone in season 11 as a way to cope, and the hobby just kinda stuck
Kai is a huge bookworm
He cries when he reads Five Feet Apart and when he watches the movie
everytime without fail
There are wax warmers throughout the monestary
The bounties have febreeze wall plugs in them
They grow their own herbs, seasonings, vegetables, and fruits in a garden by the monestary
Zanes favorite animals are giraffes
Lloyd doesn't talk to Misako unless they're physically together
Zane smells really good, he has the best cologne collection out of the ninjas
Nya wears men's deodorant
it works better for her as a ninja
idk if Pixal has to wear deodorant bc she's a nindroid, but if she did she would also wear men's deodorant
Nya re-watches the Twilight Saga every time it gets stormy and rainy
They replace half a cup of flour in desserts with half a cup of protein powder
(ex: cookies call for 2 1/4 cups of flour so they add 1 3/4 cups of flour and 1/2 cup of protein powder)
They started doing it cus they were short on flour once and didn't feel like going to the store
but then the cookies tasted better so now they do for all of their desserts
Zane was a Warrior Cats kid
Kai was a Wings of Fire kid
Nya was a Keeper of the Lost Cities kid
Lloyd was a Magic Treehouse kid
Jay was a Diaries of a Whimpy Kid kid
Cole was a I Survived kid

What will I be capturing my honeymoon on?
We are so excited for our trip coming up. Husboy and I have been adding the final touches to our itinerary. We booked a rental car- this will be my first time renting a car in my life, last time I was in a rental car I was in Germany in 2015 and I did not drive. Since we will be there Black Friday weekend I have been on local Reddit pages asking for advice on areas to avoid during the shopping spree.
Speaking of shopping spree I recently (like within the last week) purchased a camera for this trip. I have had a Canon point and shoot for more than a decade, a GoPro Hero 3+ that I barely use outside of snorkeling (and is also a decade old), a Instax SQ40, 2 50+ year old film cameras, and my phone which until recently was a Samsung Galaxy 21. I was mainly travelling with my Canon and Galaxy. I have never owned a digital camera with interchangeable lenses. So I purchased an Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark II as a recommendation from my sister who is way more experienced than myself. I'll be shooting with a M. Zuiko digital 40-150mm F4.0-5.6R lens.
I also purchased last minute a drone! I really didn't do a lot of research on it mostly because every Youtube video I watched the dudes just sounded so full of themselves. I purchased a DJI Mavic Mini with the "Fly More" combo. Since we are going to Arizona I really cant think of a better place to get some cool pictures of the desert.

if you don't mind, could you give a run down on your camera/equipment for photographing games? I want to get more into it, but there's an overwhelming number of options
I put off answering this all day bc I'm so embarrassed to be seen as a Google Pixel user on main, but DEEPLY unfortunately all my digital photos are taken with a Google Pixel 7 Pro. The camera on this thing is insane though, it's literally the only reason I got it.
If you're asking about the film photography, it's an Olympus OM-1 from the 1970s that I barely know how to use and I use Kodak Portra 800 for color and Ilford HP5 Plus 400 for black and white. Don't use anything less than 400, I shot a Sharks practice with a Fujifilm 200 and literally three photos turned out, it was awful.
And zero flash for any of it because that really scares the aquarium!!
None of the professional sports venues I've been to the USA will allow a DSLR or SLR though, so if you're in the United States hoping to shoot in a professional arena definitely look at like...compact cameras....mirrorless cameras that can be easily disguised as compact...etc. if I had one iota more self-control I'd stop blowing money on jerseys of flop AHL fourth liners and save up for a OM-D E-M10 Mark IV because it is apparently very very good with image stabilization, which if you're shooting in weird light with fast-moving subjects is ideal. I've seen people with those inside Cuda games. Obviously SLR/DSLR not an issue if you're just photographing like your friend's boyfriend's beer league games (<- I do this) but if you're looking to take a camera into a professional venue as a fan, definitely consider compact or something really easily disguisable as a compact bc security will be kinder to you lol.
I know this is all really unhelpful 😭 sorry for being a Pixel user on purpose 😭
