I'm really stucked up on the cloobs trend, too but it's gone ;( anyway bonus full fedya, I cut it because I wanted the size of both the same and the legs look. A bit. Bad.

I used two neons and two non neon, two red two yellow. all mixed in different ratios to create each form in the intent versus impact dyptych. this was so I could really actualise the thoughts and feelings of intention and impact. all four shades dropped in different amounts never made the same shade again twice but always made a new one slightly deeper slightly more neon. ect

in painting these two I also changed my paint. I bought higher quality pigment as suggested by Simon and it had payed off. the richness in colour is so vastly different to the paint is was using before - the paint I had been using was resene test pots, which while being awesome for their job Simon pointed out that their job is different to an art job. artists paints are made for artists and their pigments are different and designed in different ways to house paints which are designed for resilience and not depth of pigment and complex colour.

On the problem of the Project Basket

I’ve always been the sort to have more than one thing on the fire, and as a general rule it’s a good way to work. The rotation of project type and tone and medium are good things.

Unfortunately when things crash there’s… many shards. And trying to sort out where and how to pick up pieces… that’s a Thing. So this is me rambling about sorting I guess. Because I sat down to write on an afternoon to myself but ended up with eight tabs open and no progress.
